Leo Lutskov is the CEO of Alta Group Remodeling and a Construction Consultant focused on helping homeowners make informed decisions before and throughout complex residential remodeling projects. His role often begins well before construction starts. Leo works directly with homeowners to understand what they are trying to accomplish, identify potential challenges, explore different solutions, and determine a practical path forward. Rather than approaching every project with a predetermined answer, he believes good remodeling starts with understanding the homeowner’s goals, the realities of the existing home, the available investment, and the long-term value of the decisions being made.
As CEO, Leo also guides Alta’s overall approach to remodeling, including customer experience, construction standards, pre-construction planning, team development, quality expectations, and the use of new technology to improve the remodeling process.
He has a particular interest in finding better ways to plan, communicate, document, and solve problems while keeping the fundamentals of good construction, craftsmanship, accountability, and personal service at the center of every project.

I’ve spent much of my life around construction and problem-solving, but what I enjoy most is working with people. A homeowner will often come to me knowing that something needs to change, but they may not yet know exactly what the solution should be. That is where I believe good construction consultation can provide real value.
I like asking questions, walking the property, understanding the priorities, identifying potential challenges, and exploring different ways to accomplish the goal before everyone starts spending money.
Sometimes the right answer is a major remodel. Sometimes it means changing the scope, dividing a project into phases, choosing a different material or construction method, or finding a simpler solution. I don’t believe our job is to make a project bigger just because we can. Our job is to help homeowners understand their options and make informed decisions that make sense for their home, their family, their investment, and their long-term plans.
As CEO, I also spend a lot of time thinking about how Alta can operate better. I’m very interested in new technology, including AI, and how we can use it to improve planning, estimating, documentation, communication, and the overall customer experience. But technology is a tool. It doesn’t replace construction knowledge, craftsmanship, accountability, or relationships. At the end of the day, we work inside people’s homes. That comes with a responsibility to communicate clearly, respect the property, solve problems when they arise, and respect the trust a homeowner has placed in our team.
