My wife and I have been wanting to replace our laminate kitchen countertop for several years. Around 8 years ago we had gotten quotes for the project, but we decided to hold off because the cost was more than we wanted to spend and the current countertop was still in very good condition. We started looking again in early 2024 by doing our research and decided to go with granite countertop for several reasons. We liked the look, the maintenance is fairly easy, and we already had a granite self installed above our stove when we did the kitchen backsplash 20 years earlier. We hoped to find a piece of granite for our new countertop that matched our shelf. We went to Lowes and Home Depot first just to get an idea what was out there, but the selections were slim and the prices were on the higher side. I looked up several companies dealing with stone/granite and set out to find the right stuff for the right price. Keystone was conveniently located to be my first stop. Mustafa and co-owner Tuba greeted me as I walk in the store and I was taken to the stone warehouse in the next room. I saw exactly what I wanted within minutes. I asked about the price and it was considerably less expensive than what Lowes and Home Depot had quoted me; and Keystone also had many better choices. I could have taken the deal right then and there, but I wanted to check out the other stores I had on my list to compare prices and options. The prices at the other stores were anywhere from 2-3 times more than Keystone. While Keystone gave me an all inclusive price, the other stores added costs on every step of the process. Removal of the old counter top, measuring, and sealant, all adding a few thousand dollars to the total job cost. When I returned home and told my wife about what I had seen at Keystone, my wife and I jumped in our vehicle the same day so she could see the granite I selected. Mustafa and Tuba greeted us again and were upfront regarding maintenance and care; and the pros and cons of the granite we picked. After a short discussion we agreed to a deal. They even threw in the kitchen sink and suggested an under counter mount, which we agreed to and our thankful we did. They also added a lifetime sealant at no extra charge. Other shops I visited added as much as $1,500 for this sealant. The installation was scheduled in 2 weeks and Sam came to get the measurements within days of our signing the contract. With our measurements confirmed, we received an email within 2-days with the configuration of how they were going to lay the granite out so we could give the approval to proceed. Next our installers arrived, Oscar and Edwardo on the set date to do the installation. They worked until the entire job was done and cleaned up after themselves. One of the easiest installation projects I have ever had to go through. The entire Keystone team has a customer driven work ethic and they were helpful to answer any questions to ease our minds. A few weeks after the install, we had a few issues with the granite and Keystone was out the next day to fix them. Can’t get that service much of anywhere now a days. Highly recommend you checking them out for any of your kitchen or bathroom countertop needs. There were extremely professional, friendly and they stand behind their products and workmanship.

We had our kitchen done by Ancient Art Stone a few months ago and we are very happy with the way it came out! We had our pick of what granite counter tops we wanted, they installed a brand new sink, and also installed a brand new faucet that makes our kitchen look amazing! We did the backsplash ourselves, which doesn’t look too bad, but if we had to do it again, we would ask ancient art stone to do it for a more professional look. Coastal countertops was the company my kitchen designer used for our new countertops. While I had minimal contact with them directly, ( when I did they were so helpful) I was extremely pleased with the install crew, Mauricio, Melvin and Marco. They were extremely efficient and professional. My quartz had to come in 2 pieces and the seams are invisible! They did a fantastic job! Everything was measured perfectly and we were so thrilled with the outcome. I highly recommend this crew when installing!

Troy Granite in Newark installed a natural stone (quartzite) counter top for me in August. Everyone I worked with was fantastic and the customer service was excellent. Their price was better than Tile Market's by about 20%. I waited three weeks until installation compared to 4+ weeks at Tile Market. At Troy I worked with Aysel & Emel. Both were very accommodating and I enjoyed working with them over a 2-3 month period. They were both very helpful and patient - no hard sales pitch. The lighting in the indoor stone yard is 'ugh' but I did have an opportunity to look at my selection in natural light before I bought it. Emel ended up being the closer. I was satisfied with the package price but I think I could have done a tiny bit better if I had given my full attention to the final offer. I was in a hurry and Emel is a shrewd sales lady so she, rightly so, turned the price slightly in her favor! As far as the rest of the process, the measuring appointment was uneventful and the technician was very professional. For the layout appointment, I was glad I had done some research and knew what I wanted before I arrived. The initial proposal was not to my liking at all but the tech was very patient and worked with me to get exactly the layout that I wanted. The install went very smoothly as far as I was concerned but it I think it was essential to have my contractor there. There were a few technical things to work out to make sure the counter turned out perfectly level but when it was done I was very happy! My counter top is perfect in every way and I love it! I highly recommend Troy Granite, Newark. UPDATE: More than three years later - I still LOVE my counters. The quartzite (Taj Mahal) is durable and stain free. No problems at all with the surface or the installation. FIVE years later, still LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stone!!!
