West Bay Plastic's team completed the install this week. Two gentlemen arrived, worked quickly and accurately and the job was completed in less than 4 hours. After being strung along by another company in San Francisco, we found this gem of a small business. Owned for thirty-plus years by the same hands-on family, small knowledgeable team, reasonable prices, timely delivery, experienced craftsmen and overall lovely people. Less than a month from taking measurements and providing an estimate to fabricating a new Corian countertop for our bathroom and installing it. Very pleased and ready to do the same for the second bathroom.

Great selection, great service and great prices! It is hard to find solid surface countertops locally that you can look at in person before buying. Dean was very helpful with selecting the right color to go with my new cabinets, getting the order in quickly and navigating a good workaround with glue during a shortage. The prices are also very reasonable. I will be back!

After a kitchen leak, the water removal company demolished my kitchen. I had Corian previously and loved it. My contractor cousin recommended West Bay Plastics because I only wanted Corian, and had been looking for a reliable company. We visited Dean at West Bay Plastics, and he helped us match the Corian to our flooring. He even gave us a sample to take home to make sure the lighting on the sample was complimentary in our kitchen. The crew came out and installed the Corian, matching the seams so perfectly that you could not tell it was not one solid piece including the curved portion to the cabinet fronts. All those employed at West Bay Plastics were sincerely concerned about our kitchen, doing a perfect job from beginning to the finality. I would not hesitate to recommend West Bay Plastics.

We just had our new kitchen countertop put in and I couldn't be happier! Everything went so well from start to finish. First, Joanne is a gem! We went into their shop on Capp St. and Joanne talked through colors, materials, and gave us ideas for what we could do for our kitchen counter. Her expertise was invaluable, and she was very knowledgeable about what we could choose for materials and finishings based on what we were looking for and our price range. She's so nice and patient! She was also so cute and kind to my toddler that I brought in :) I wanted something really clean and seamless, so we ultimately chose a white corian countertop with coved seams. The guys who showed up to do the measuring and installation were professional and you could tell they were experts. Everyone who works there has worked there a long time, and I think it's a sign of what a good company it is. It's the kind of company where you think to yourself "this is how companies should be" great customer service, expert knowledge, honest, friendly, and fabulous results. They don't even have a sign out front and I think that's because they don't even need to advertise...their skills and results do all the advertising they need. If anybody is in the market for a kitchen countertop remodel I HIGHLY recommend them. Thank you WBP!!!

I'm one of the owners of Domicile, a cabinet and design showroom at the SF Design Center. We recently hired West Bay to do a countertop installation in the city of some solid surface material that I have never worked with before. We were in a bit of a time crunch and were quite pushy with them. The material had to ship cross country from the East Coast. Well, the material was repeatedly delayed and the clients weren't pleased. It had everything to do with the supplier not West Bay. They promised they would act fast when it arrived. Well, I was stunned at how fast it actually came together. They measured the space while waiting for the material. The day after the material arrived they fabricated, took it to the site and installed it. Perfect installation, remarkable. I will certainly return with many projects. Highest recommendation.

Loved working with WBP. Everyone I met was friendly and funny, particularly Joanne. They made us a table top of laminated Baltic birch plywood, cut to a tracing I did on a piece of cardboard. West Bay Plastics is a small family owned business. Even though all employees are not actual family, they all act and treat each other as if they were. They are very friendly and professional, and totally focused on good service and customer satisfaction. Because WBP is so good, I think they are normally pretty backlogged with orders. From my personal experience (X2), their philosophy seems to be, "have good quality employees who are 100% focused on customer satisfaction and customer service." They definitely do NOT have the philosophy of "just hurry get the job done and move onto the next one". I can assure you would NEVER hear those words come out of the mouths of any WBP employee! That's just not how they do business! I think they realize they loose some business due to not always being able to provide immediate service, but if you want the best quality product/installation in your home or business, and at the best price, they are very much worth the wait! I would be very surprised if you ever find a business such as theirs who is more focused on customer satisfaction with your end product.

Ever need a reminder why it's important to support our local small businesses? I dropped in on a Monday for a quote for new kitchen counters, confirmed the order on Tuesday, had professional measurements and a template made on Thursday and new counters installed the following Tuesday. No where else (and trust me, I did some shopping around), can you walk in, get personalized service like this, meet an incredible woman who is running the family business, and receive high quality work with a quick turn around. Every step of the way, Joanne and her team kept constant communication so I knew what to expect. She takes pride in her staff, her business and her craft and the finished product speaks for itself.

The high Yelp reviews brought me to West Bay Plastics while up in San Francisco for a medical treatement -- and I'll have to add a five star review of my own. I stopped by to get a small Corian trim piece cut to finish a project. First time I've visited. The gal in the front office (Joanne, I presume, from the business card) was/is simply terrific. It took maybe five to ten minutes to get a reasonable color match and have the cut piece I needed. Meanwhile, Joanne (?) was finishing up with a client ahead of me, (wo)manning the office alone, dealing with UPS and a delivery, graciously handling another customer on the phone, and helping yet another apparently long term customer with his job (making sure his truck got parked where it wouldn't be ticketed). Pretty amazin' display of great customer service, complete knowledge of her product line, and exceptional grace and productivity while doing two or three folks' work. I'm skeptical of Yelp reviews, but this brief introduction has me thinking all those five star reviews are for real. In any case -- and in my case -- thanks.

We went through a number of options for our kitchen counters. We even had prepaid in full to Ikea (a story in itself). For various reasons we got a refund. Long story short we ended up with West Bay Plastics, they were recommended by a friend at our club. We love these guys. Old time service. Say what they will do and then do it. No delays or shenanigans. The front office folks (Joanne, and Jackie) were super helpful professional, and a joy to deal with. Answering questions in minutes that others struggled with. Then the workers were on time, and real experts. Truly beautiful work. These folks are the real deal!!!!!

I've been in the residential contracting business for thirty years. I've worked with hundreds of subcontractors, and I have to say that working with West Bay has been one of the best experiences I've had. Bernie was patient and helpful throughout the design process, and went the extra mile to help us get a special product that had to come out of Texas through a complicated chain of distributors. Besides that, the installers who showed up on the jobsite were on time, did a very professional job, and left the place as clean as when they arrived. And Bernie took care of a small 'change order' extra without jacking up the price. If only all subcontractors were this easy to work with !

I needed help locating some matching Corian for a kitchen table. Segale Bros referred me to West Bay Plastics in SF. Joanne came to my home to discuss the project and take measurements. She also had my 3 standard poodles just captivated! She could seriously be another "Dog Whisperer!" Joanne searched across the country to get me the EXACT material I wanted. She relentlessly searched and searched using every resource available. It took a little bit of time, but it was so worth it. Joanne was so patient with me because I was really anxious to get the same material. She found me a remnant that was the perfect size for my table (extra, extra kudos there!!!) plus she saved me some $$$ ;)) I was so impressed with their customer service, craftsmanship, and work ethic that I also had them make me an "L-shaped" table/countertop for my laundry area out of their laminate scrap pieces which were Mardi Gras colors...yellow and purple.. with added green from my many orchids ;)) I am so in love with my new stuff, and my only regret is not having done this sooner! Extra bonuses to Joanne and her cousin Bernie who have repeatedly insisted that I bring my poodle boys down to their shop! Artie & Rey have enjoyed their visits to West Bay Plastics! West Bay Plastics has been around for over 40 years and there is a reason why! Joanne and Bernie go out of their way to make sure every costumer is totally satisfied. It does not matter if the job is big or small - they care more about quality and happy costumers than the big sell. Five stars aren't enough to rate this conscientious company. We'd give them ten stars if we could. From our first visit to the final installation last week, it was smooth sailing. No problems whatsoever. Joanne, came to our house along with the fabricator, to make sure that the final measurements and details were correct. A company who actually makes house calls ... a miracle in itself! In comparison, ours must have been a small job - a bathroom vanity countertop. We can't be more pleased with the end results. I change my mind a lot:) West Bay lastics never pushed the sale when I first stopped by to look at Corian colors, and then after we had decided on color, after they had measured, I realized that there was one little area that really needed the counter to countinue past the original plan, so they came out and remeasured. When i bought my house I needed to do a complete kitchen remodel. I had decided on granite counters, but then heard about the benefits of Corian. I did some searching and went down to West Bay Plastics. This family business has been around for a long time and it shows. They were extremely knowledgeable and after seeing samples i decided to go with Corian. They quickly came out and measured everything. Just a short time later they came out and installed my counter tops. I could not be happier! The Corian counter tops are no maintenance and look spectacular. I opted for a black Corian which really stand out against my natural maple cabinets. I don't have to worry about spilling things and sealing. Everyone that comes over comments on my counters. My kitchen is my favorite part of the house. Thank you West Bay! Could not be happier.
