Have had counter top and two bathroom vanity tops custom made. Vic, Lou Sr and Lou Jr. are great to work with. Very professional beautiful work. Large show room with huge stock of granite to choose from. Prices are great and competitive but craftsmanship is exceptional! Highly recommend.

Vallar's did a great job with our kitchen countertops! We just sold our house, and plan to use them again for our countertops in the new house as well. Very professional from the sales stuff to the installation team, we had a great experience and they also helped provide referrals to other vendors we needed for tile installation, etc.

I stopped today for a granite vanity top and was blow away by the service, the selection and the pricing. I have to say I have been to most of the other Tile and Granite places in Syracuse and have done business with a few of them. They have their work cut out to compete with Vallar's. If I could give more stars, I would. Just sorry I didn't find them earlier.

To say I am absolutely disgusted with the customer service and interaction with this business is an understatement. Not only has the owner berated me on the phone but, his "craftsman" proceeded to get in my face while screaming curse words at me today. The four men who are on site to fix a mistake that they made in the first place backed me into a corner while screaming at me. I am shocked this business is still in operation after going through the process with them. I had to threaten to call the police in order to have these people leave the property.

Terrible quality granite. Ours developed stains when brand new. They said it needs their special cleaning , not work. Then they say not sealed, well we bought it from that way. They come out to seal, not work. Then they say product needs to be replaced. Then they never came back along with the repeated calls to get repaired.

My husband and I just recently purchased our granite countertops from Vallar’s. Our experience has been way beyond what we expected. I was drawn to a few different slabs in the stoneyard. April could see the style I was drawn to and brought us over to the most beautiful granite slab. We knew instantly that, that was exactly what we wanted. Lou and Pete came out to do the templating this morning. They were so kind and made some suggestions to make our kitchen more functional. I would highly recommend going to Vallar’s before buying from a large corporation like Lowe’s or Home Depot. Physically going and picking out your slab is an awesome experience and something I would highly recommend for natural stone. Picking out counter tops can be daunting, Vallar’s made this decision process stress free. We can’t wait to see the finished results! Always shop local!

Very expensive, poor customer service, slow. We installed a continuous backsplash and in spite of them assuring us they would match the pattern the slabs are not in continuity or well installed. Would strongly recommend against using this company

I was looking for a small marble top for a bar I was refinishing and came across Vallar's while I was visiting Syracuse, my home town. They had a great selection of slabs and remnants to choose from. I found what I was looking for and they were able to cut and polish the piece, and hold until the next time I was home to pick it up, which was over a month! They sealed the marble for me and explained how to care for it. It looks amazing and I couldn't be happier! The staff was very helpful and super friendly; and they had a great selection of tile in addition to their beautiful stone pieces. I'm definitely going to keep then in mind for my next project!

I got my granite countertop in my bathroom from Vallar's and they were extremely helpful. They found something within my budget that worked perfectly for a specialty bathroom along with fantastic customer service from start to finish. They offered, pick up, delivery, and install all at a fair price and did not care about my contractor getting the piece too. I'd recommended them to anyone who is looking to remodel.

I I have called, emailed and went so far as to stop by the show room to get someone back out to do some repair work on our massive kitchen renovation. They have blown me off every time - focusing only on their next big job. So disappointing.

Should have listened to the other reviewer on here. First impression is great. April the head of sales is great when you are there in-person. Don't ever try to call and expect a call back. You will have to call back multiple times before you can get an answer. It took almost a year and 6 different house calls for them to fix the seem correctly. Each time it was a different person that would come out and then complain about how the first installer messed up. We had the owner Vic come out and take a look at it as well. Between the incorrect installation, multiple patches and messed up seem he refused to accept responsibility. We even had another company come out and take a look to make sure it wasn't us being too picky. If you decide to go with Vallar's ask how long the people installing your countertops have been with the company. They have a very high turnover and the poor craftsmanship shows.

Based upon the recommendation of a friend, I decided to try Vallars. I went there a few times to look at the granite and finally decided on one. Their representative said she would get back to me regarding an appointment for measurement and a final price quote. After waiting a week with no response from them, I called and left a message for her to call me back. After waiting another week with no response, I emailed her to get back to me. Still no response.. I ended up going to another tile store and had them install my countertops. It's sad a business will not get back to their customers after numerous attempts to do so. I would not want to do business with a company that has so little regard for its customers.
