We chose Urban Countertops when we needed to replace the kitchen counter top. Both Victor and Aaron were helpful throughout the process. The guys who came to remove the original top also came back the next day to install and were very courteous and cleaned up afterwards. It took several more days before I could get a plumber to come and put the sink back together. He had to go to a store and buy a basket which didn’t come with the sink. The Statuary Quartz is beautiful and really brightened up our kitchen. We’re very pleased with the result.

Beautiful install of counters, backsplash, bar area and bathrooms. We've used Urban Countertops 3 times at our house and will use again. Great service, attention to detail, cleanup after install. They even book-matched the stone (so it appears to flow from the counter to the wall). Showroom is helpful too -- large samples of the neutral white / grey colors we like.

Amazing quality work done by true professionals for a great price. We re did our kitchen and Urban Countertops was recommended to us by Edmund at CSJ cabinet supply. I was able to send Aaron the sketchup from CSJ and he was quick and efficient in the quoting after visiting in person to choose from all the choices for stone they had. We went with Mont Blanc, a very nice quartz with a bluish streaks to match our cabinets. Then Ray came by for a in person measurement, was nothing but nice. A little challenge we threw at him was our HVAC outputted in the island we were hoping to not have to put metal grates there. Ray took measurements and they were able to cut out the holes right in the slab! Looks way better! The install crew was fast and very professional, left no mess, and even showed me the best way to clean the quartz. About 2 years since the install I accidentally chipped an extremely small piece off the edge putting a heavy package on the island. Aaron had a crew come out, they fixed it in 10 mins, and then didn't charge me! 11/10 service and work done, I recommend them to anyone who asks. I don't see myself renovating this kitchen again for quite a long time but when I do I hope they are still in business because they gained a customer for life.

Thanks to Urban Countertops staffs professional advice and suggestions for my renovation project of my kitchen and bathroom. They have such a large variety of stones and reasonable prices. Installation is quick, careful and professional. I love my new countertop and vanity top, I have a small bathroom which is hard to find vanity and top, their custom make top fit perfectly, it looks so modern and easy care. The kitchen countertop (Vena Bella) comes in one piece with a seamless corner, it will make the cleaning so much easier. I highly recommend this company for every project big and small. Special thanks to all the staff, Ray on doing the measurements, Hanna and Victor help me pick the right stone to match my new cabinets and vanity. All of them are extremely helpful throughout the whole process.

We were looking for a remnant piece for a bathroom shower shelf and Aaron was very helpful in showing us selections within our price-point and guiding us to certain stones better for moisture environments. I want to start off by saying this is the first time I remodel a kitchen for two apartments and had no clue what to expect. This place is a one stop shop--you pick out your countertop and they install. They have a wide selection of countertops to pick from, and it surely is the hardest part of this whole process! I had such a hard time choosing one style because they're all so beautiful. Aaron and Hannah helped me out with both experiences and they were great. They are very kind, patient, and above all, knowledgeable on countertops. I had a very pleasing experience both times I went to get countertops. 10000% recommend this place!

I had such a wonderful experience with this small business and can't possibly think higher of this operation. Hanna helped me out when I arrived in the store and kept constant contact. They were extremely competitive on pricing without any negotiating. They also were able to offer discounts for remnants/partial pieces in stock. They did a great job installing, too. I really appreciate how much effort they put into my job and keeping each and every promise made. This business reminds me of why I love small businesses. My husband and I had been looking for quartz countertops for a while and couldn't seem to find a design that we liked at a good price point. We checked out Urban Countertops' website and liked what we saw. I emailed them directly asking for a quote and received a prompt reply from Aaron. He was very patient and answered all of my questions. They were also very accommodating to my husband and I when we decided to stop in without an appointment right before closing for a sample. The entire staff was very friendly. Jay who took our final measurements was also very friendly and patient when we had questions regarding his measurements of our kitchen. The countertops were installed about so quickly after the final measurements it's amazing. Other places were telling us we might not have our counters until right before Thanksgiving or before Christmas. The whole process was so effortless, easy and stress free. My countertops were the least of my worries after contacting Aaron via email from Urban Countertops. He provided me samples...very prompt email replies. I was looking for a countertop company in Chicago that were close by. I hate going way out for something that this big city should have. I went to one place found exactly what I wanted but my budget said No Way after the cost was calculated. Went to Urban Countertops and found a countertop I also love for 2200.00 dollars less. I was so Happy. Hanna and her crew were The Best!!! They were professional, courteous, and were not pushy. They listened to me and my concerns. They work with you and give good advice to making your project Beautiful!!! They installed the countertop at your convenience, they were quick, efficient and very thorough. We had a great experience with Urban Countertops. After visiting their showroom and selecting the material we wanted, they came out to our condo to do the measurements. They were always on time, if not early,and called in advance to let us know of their arrival. We had also ordered a new sink so they took it with them to ensure everything fitted properly. Price is competitive and the turnaround was quick - about 5-7 days from beginning of process to installation. The countertop was installed in one day, and probably would have taken just a few hours if we had not run into an issue with the waterfall part of the countertop. The measurement was slightly off, so they brought out extra equipment to cut and size it correctly. They worked overtime to get it all done in a day which I was very impressed with!

I wanted to share my experience so far in the process of replacing countertops with Urban Countertops. I live in a far northern suburb and on a fluke, someone at a tile store recommended Urban Countertops to me. The said a customer of theirs used Urban and found them to be the most reasonable, so I thought I would give them a call. I have not yet completed the work, but the customer service has been terrific! Hanna and Aaron have been so on top of contacting me, and requesting quotes from stone vendors and replying back quickly to me with pricing. I had a great experience with Urban Countertops--every step was easy. Their showroom has plenty of options, and Aaron greeted us and was informative without being a pushy salesperson, which I appreciated. We were thrilled with the price quote for our quartz countertops. They send someone out to measure, then schedule a time to install the counters. Everyone was professional and did their work quickly. We advised that we wanted to expand an existing bar, and they listened, measured, and installed it exactly as we wanted. I also appreciated that unlike some cable companies (you know who I'm talking about), they arrived exactly when they said they would, if not a bit early. All around, great experience, I'd definitely recommend. The countertops look fantastic.

This was a wonderful surprise. I bought some cabinets where they recommended this company. I was delighted. First the prices are beyond competitive; second they have a wonderful selection, and they are in Chicago no need to go to the suburbs; third they are quick, both to measure and to install; fourth the installation was flawless. My counter-tops look amazing. I highly recommend this company. They do not have fancy equipment; for my very complicated counter-top with lots of corners, the measurement guy made a paper cutout on site. I was somehow concerned as other countertops I have installed the measurement guy have arrived with state of the art equipment with laser lights. I discovered that seems to only add cost as this company gave me countertops for 70% of the price of other companies and the product is flawless. I am a very satisfied customer

I cannot say enough good things about Urban Countertops. For about 2 years, I have been trying to find an affordable company to install a good quality and modern quartz countertop in my downtown condo. Every vendor that I spoke with was extremely expensive, the quality of the product was sub-par and, sometimes, they wouldn't even come to my condo to give me an estimate; they would only send it via e-mail. Luckily, I found Urban Countertops. They have provided outstanding customer service since day 1! Ray, Aaron and Hannah are the best! Ray came out within one day of my request for estimate. He gave me a very fair and affordable estimate, and showed me some high end quality quartz samples. A few days later, I went to the showroom to see the quartz and sink in person and I was very pleased. Today, my installation took place and I couldn't be happier! My contractor, Wayne Furman (who is also awesome), recommended using Urban Countertops. I'm so happy that he did because I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I went to their shop on the southside, walked in, was greeted kindly and immediately found what I wanted within 5 minutes. On top of that, their pricing was super reasonable and I researched a lot of other places. When I wanted to add a waterfall edge to my counters, they easily adjusted and provided me a good deal on that as well. Installation looks gorgeous and follow-up was seamless. Aaron (Sun) called me every step of the way to make sure I knew what was happening next and I really appreciated that. It's unfortunately not often in a renovation that you encounter great vendors to work with and Urban Countertops was definitely one of them. Thanks Aaron!

We received our countertops from this business in December, 2017. In November of 2018, a spice jar fell from the the first shelf of our counters and chipped the stone. In talking with Aaron at Urban Countertops, he informed me that they don't guarantee the stone as the chip was not a "defect in the stone itself." I guess when he sells the stone as "strong, durable, tough, etc" he means it's strong, durable and tough...in the showroom? But don't expect it to withstand a jar of cinnamon falling approx 16 inches and hitting it. It's not strong enough to deal with that. Aaron was nice enough to offer to fix the stone - for $125. I called two repair services - both said that the stone shouldn't have chipped and that the the installer should stand behind their work and product. Especially given nature of the damage. So, when buying your counters, be sure to ask the folks at Urban Countertops to review their guarantees and warranties with you. Get them in writing. Or go to another company that DOES stand behind their work/product. Trust me, you and your seasonings will thank you.
