I highly recommend Tri State Stone. Renato is great and walked us through the entire process. He has a massive amount of stone to choose from at the warehouses. The Calacatta Laza Quartz we chose is beautiful, and was installed perfectly. They were very helpful scheduling wise after tons of delays from our contractors. Install was fast and professional as well. Very pleased!

I had the very best experience from these guys in the selection and installation of my counters. I'm a new homeowner and was nervously investing a lot of time in my decision (probably more time than most customers), but Dennis was nothing but patient and helpful with me as i looked at various slabs in the back area and asked a lot of questions (some probably dumb). The installers were quick and respectful of my cabinets and new kitchen floor, cleaned up afterwards, and they were on time too. Stupidly I forgot I needed an extra counter hole drilled for the purified water faucet, and I thought I'd have to pay for an extra service call a week later, but I was not charged. I highly recommend this shop and have told locals about it already several times.

We had an amazing experience with Tri State Stone. Renato helped us choose our counters and coordinate the installation. His attention to detail and care for the project and customer were evident in every one of our interactions with him. It was such a pleasure to deal with a company and know that they would take care of our needs properly and treat the job as if they were doing their own home. The men who came to install the counters were professional, prompt, and you could tell they really knew what they were doing. My husband and I are so pleased with our soapstone and granite from Renato and his crew at Tri State Stone. We built a log cabin up in the Adirondacks, and Renato made it look fantastic. Not only does our kitchen soapstone and bathroom granites look spectacular, his opinion on color and finish in our master bath was spot on. Easy to work with, and beautiful finished product. Would highly recommend.

Tri-State Stone and my interactions with Renato and his installers were the best part of my kitchen renovation project. Renato was very attentive to my likes/dislikes while we were in the stoneyard, and paid attention to our concerns. We visited many stoneyards and they gave us the best price including installation in Manhattan. He was quick to return phone calls and texted back and forth for the measurements and delivery. They were right on time and their workers were polite and efficient. It was a welcome relief compared to our custom cabinet company (who made a big mess of everything) and the plumbers & electricians who always needed to be tracked down and supervised constantly. We got a much better price by visiting stoneyards directly compared to prices quoted by either the kitchen designer or the contractor. Thank you Renato and your team!

I had a small job -- a custom vanity to fit a non-standard length with two sinks. Renato and the team were amazing. I found a beautiful quartz remnant for a good value. Since it was a small job I had to measure and bring the sinks in and have my contractor pick it up. But everything worked out and when there was a question about measuring Renato confirmed details with my contractor directly. Really nice folks here and quality work. I'll be back when I have a bigger job in the future.

I can't say enough glowing things about Tri State Stone. First of all, after telling Renato the Sales Manager about our design ideas, he was invaluable in helping us select the right stone for our new kitchen. Then, when there was a mix up with our original order, he sorted it out and made it right. We ended up getting a different stone that we enjoyed even more than the first! From Renato to the team member who came to do the measurements to the installers, everyone involved was top notch. They showed up on time and the installation was quick, seamless and professional. We love our new kitchen, in large part due to the tremendous service of Tri State Stone.

I had an amazing experience from beginning to end. I got a ridiculous quote from my contractor and the stone yard, so I started searching for another vendor. I came upon TriState from a google search. Everyone I spoke to was helpful and courteous. The service was fantastic, the quality of the work was perfect AND I saved about $1500 from my contractors price for the exact same stone from the same stone yard.

Bought a granite counter top. Price was ok. Felt a bit let down. The sales person said there would be no need for a seam on the counter at the sink if we got the smaller sink, so we went with the smaller sink(same price as big one). When they came to install, lo and behold a seam on the counter. Called to complaint, and all I got was a "sorry for the misunderstanding" but did nothing to resolve the problem.

Well everything started pretty well, and went fairly well, up until the end. Admittedly the counter looks great, but they damaged one of my new drawer fronts when installing the counter. I now have a fairly large scratch on a drawer face in my brand new kitchen. When I pointed out that the drawer wasn't damaged before the counter installation, and asked to be reimbursed $39 for a new one, I was told (direct quote from email) "SORRY MY GUYS ARE SAYING THEY DIND THAT." Really? Your employees didn't tell you they screwed up? But ok, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they didn't notice. And maybe it's my fault for not looking for damage prior to cutting a check for the remainder of the work, but refusing to reimburse a customer $39 for damages seems like pretty lousy way to end this transaction, especially in world full of online reviews. If you do decide to go with tri-state I'd advise you to make a close inspection for any potential damages prior to completing payment. If damage they caused is discovered after the fact you're just out of luck. Even if it's only $39.
