Mike and his team are exceptional at what they do. They insisted on getting the specs in-person and expertly fabricated a countertop in a very tight space. It took precision to get the faucet in the right spot and they nailed it. Not only that, Treasure Valley Granite gives back to the community. Honesty, great craftsmanship, and a giving spirit is a combination that blew me away.

We were renovating our kitchen and Costless (where we purchased from their large inventory of different types of rock slabs) suggested Treasure Valley Granite (TVG) to cut and prepare the rock for installation as a countertop. I can't tell you how fortunate for us that suggestion was! Mike Janousek did a remarkable job cutting and polishing the stone; Ernie Campbell was masterful in creating a template; Jeremy & Tristan did a great job installing the countertop. All in all, we couldn't have made a better choice; we are extremely pleased with the results! After a few months of installation, TVG still is available for great service and backs up their work; not something that is common these days! I can't recommend TVG enough!

Worked with Mike and his crew to replace all countertops in our house. Quote was professional, detailed, and timely. Everyone we worked with was incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. We did the project in two parts. The first part went absolutely seamlessly. The second part was a more stressful partly due to how tight our project fit on the slab we chose and partly due to an unclear install timeline. Mike had concerns with our slab and encouraged us to come look at the issues to make sure we were happy with the final product. We went out to the shop, reviewed the issues, and decided to move along as planned. They did an amazing job and were very pleasant to work with.

Win/Win. Mike and I initially had a small disagreement at the start of work, however he immediately called me back and proposed a win/win solution that scratched both our backs and saved me money. Treasure Valley Granite worked with the contractors with no drama, no issues, and no egos. Very professional. Both the measurement and installation crews showed up on time, did a great job, cleaned up afterwards and answered all our questions. Mike and the rest of the team at Treasure Valley Granite were great to work with all the way from the process of templating to install. They were able to provide multiple detailed views of the countertop cutouts so that we could arrange parts of the stone specifically where we wanted them before our countertops were cut. Great communication. They even helped removed a heavy piece of old countertop and placed it in our garage for us. Everyone was very professional and the countertops look amazing.

We recently had out-of-town guests visiting and noticed a chip in our quartz countertop after they left. I called Mike from Treasure Valley Granite and within a few days he had two of his guys come to my house repair the chip. Unless you knew exactly where to look, you’d never find the repair. Excellent work. On time and extremely professional. Highly recommended!

No communication regarding layout so seams that could have been hidden are in prominent place. Rude assistant manager. Worked to resolve but ultimately not satisfied with result. Could have been avoided with communication. Modifying my review to a 2 star as the install employees were excellent, polite and friendly. If communication would have occurred regarding the layout, we would have purchased another slab of granite that was on hold. I hope people review this and realize how important communication is to a satisfactory result. Regarding 1 star review: I will make sure to leave 5 stars for all of the great businesses we have dealt with. That will certainly reflect a true perception of my reviews. All this reflects is that I have neglected to give feedback to others when deserved. For those reading this: Make sure communication is available to discuss any potential issues. I have mentioned two areas that need to be improved on by your business. Should communication have occurred early, we could have avoided this negative review.

Mike and his crew are absolutely amazing. When the gentleman came out to measure, he was very through and asked and answered a lot of questions. He made sure there wouldn't be preventable surprises. The two guys that came out to install took their time and made sure everything was perfect and even took the time to answer my questions. I am extremely pleased with how my countertops turned out and all the hard work to make sure they looked awesome. The customer service before, during and after was wonderful. from the gentleman who came to my home to do the templates for the granite, to Mike and his install team, everything was 5 star. They were extremely polite, and very careful in my home. They put down cardboard type runners over the floors , and were very careful with the demo of my old kitchen tile surface . Their vacuum was right there to keep the dust at bay. My new quartzite counters are beautiful and fit perfectly. I would highly recommend this business for their thorough work, and pride in their work. Super job!!

They just finished my quartz counters Thursday and it looks great. We picked out the slabs at cost less carpet. TV Granite came out and measured a few weeks ago and gave us a price that was great. Last week they came out and made jigs to cut the quartz to size. About a week later it was installed. Everyone we met with from this company was great to work with and we highly recommend them for this type of work. They take about a month from start to finish as they are busy. That should say something.

Let me begin by saying that Ernie and his installer are hands down, one of the most professional teams I've ever witnessed. They measured our beautiful granite perfectly, and installed it without a hiccup. They were a pleasure to work with. I rate 4 stars because the customer service from the owner, Mike, was less than memorable. Felt like he was blowing us off. The customer service from the cutters, was also questionable when we came to the shop to lay out our designs. Overall, TV Granite was quite fantastic and we are very happy with the results but expect better customer service in the future.

I would stay away from this company at all costs. Mike is a Kevin and would rather belittle you about the crappy work they provide. Wrong cuts and wrong pieces used, they kept all the extra leftover granite I PAID FOR, and tried to tell me its part of the process and they keep all scraps. I will never do business with them again.

On November 2nd, we contracted with Treasure Valley Granite to fabricate and install granite countertops for our kitchen that we purchased from a Supplier in Boise. The day before the installation my husband called to see if the fabricating was done, so he could pick up our remaining slab for a future project. When he arrived they presented him with a piece that was only roughly 8 sq ft. from a 63 sq ft slab. The kitchen only required 28 sq ft.. It was explained to him that there is a lot of waste. My husband was pissed! 43% WASTE! What?!!! But that was their position. My husband went home and called the Supplier to see if they thought 43% waste was reasonable. It was not they assured us, and as we understand it, they called Treasure Valley Granite to inquire. They were told the waste story as well, and the wonderful woman at the Supplier explained that there was nothing they could really do about that. Well today the wonderful woman at the Supplier called to tell me that my remaining slab came in with Treasure Valley's "recycling remnants". The slab is roughly 21 sq ft. Two things; first, Treasure Valley has a clause in their contract that if you don't pick up your remnants within 5 days after the install, it becomes their property. Well we picked ours up the day before the install. Second, the Supplier has a buy back program, which we were offered when we purchased. They will buy back your usable remnants. We made it clear to everyone that we wanted our remaining remnants. So when my husband called Treasure Valley today to inquire as to why they were cashing in OUR slab, later we received a voice mail from some guy, a little irate, trying to explain how he was returning it for us. Um.... No... Sketchy as hell! Nobody called us to say they located our remaining slab! It took the Supplier recognizing it as ours for us to even know. Be very careful with this business! They totally tried to take advantage of us!
