Tile Outlet & Granite is super! We've been remodeling for 1.5 years now and feel like we are playing Russian roulette with contractors. We spent a year getting to know our prime. Choosing TO&G was a bit by chance but we really feel like we totally lucked out with the quality of work and service they provided. I will convince my prime to use TO&G in the future. The service (especially the clear communications) and attention to detail from the beginning to the end of the countertop procurement and installation process was seamless. Again, in this world of remodeling craziness, it is refreshing to work with a highly competent and professional company that really seems to care about their clients and craftsmanship. Cheers! We used Tile Outlet to supply a bunch of different materials for a bathroom and utility room remodel last August (completing in early October). Vince was extremely helpful in educating us about the seemingly infinite surface types and guiding us towards pieces we like. We ended up with a big piece of granite for the two countertops and three different ceramic and porcelain tiles for floors, shower floor, and shower walls. Unfortunately, the installers weren't quite as skilled as the sales staff on the floor and the section of granite for the utility sink dropped, cracking the front perimeter in several spots. My contractor was thoroughly ticked they didn't support the huge section they were cutting out onsite, but they'd cracked the piece before he was on site that morning. After it was clear they couldn't epoxy the broken sections back together, Marco stepped in (Vince was off that day, if I recall) and had a new counter from a neighboring chunk of that Brazilian stone cut, polished, and installed two days later. My contractor noted the back of the second stone had fiberglass reinforcement all over it, something the initial piece lacked (a remnant from a job from all the way back in 2008 or so). They also supported the cut and didn't let it drop like the first one. The smaller counter and sink were installed perfectly, it was just the six-foot slab that gave them trouble. We had some supply shortage issues that Vince and team were able to work through, but I was surprised to find out during that back-and-forth that we could have purchased some of the tile directly from Bedrosians for less money than Tile Outlet. With my contractor's discount, it was basically a wash, but I'll keep that in mind for the next project and be sure to shop specific pieces around first.

Tile Outlet and Granite (TOG) did an awesome job for us. We were looking for new countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, along with new backsplash tile in the kitchen. We were also looking for a complete solution; that is, we wanted every component of the countertop and tiling procurement and installation to be managed by one service provider. TOG was willing to take on the entire project and successfully managed everything, including stone and tile procurement, fabricating, installation, plumbing, and drywall. They sweated the details, including a tricky installation where our quartzite countertops had to be hoisted using a reach lift into our kitchen on the second level. The final result is fabulous, and we couldn’t be more pleased! We extend our special thanks to the TOG team of Marco, Vince, Chris, Tyler and all the tile setters, fabricators, installers, plumbers, and others that made this challenging project successful. Last but not least, the entire project came in on budget and schedule!

Such an amazing team to work with! Set my first backsplash and the staff at Tile Outlet helped me select the tile, schluter and recommended the perfect color epoxy grout. They have knowledgeable staff that took the time to provide helpful advice on how to do a herringbone pattern and walked me through the epoxy grout application process. While completing the project I called the store a couple times with questions and they gladly took the time to provide answers and additional advice. We gutted our laundry room with attached powder room and wanted a 1" white , hexagonal tile for the floor, (with black accent, and charcoal grout) which isn't as common as a floor anymore and I am so happy with their expertise and installation, as it is a tricky product. Mischa the tile installer was fantastic and Vince in sales took wonderful care of the special order, and I gladly look forward to using them again on future remodel projects!

For the moment we went into the store we were treated with exceptional service. The service Tile Outlet and Granite in Boise provide starts with the initial design process and continues through to the installation of the project. We needed help with some ideas for replacing out granite countertops and were given the direction and ideas we needed. They even adapted to our changing minds when we changed course. From the first time I walked in, you took care of me. The next time I came in you took care of us. After our back-up tile guy bails on us, you took care of us... and then we end up with Tony, who truly is a Tile Master. You guys took a Shit Sandwich, ground it up, turned it into fertilizer & grew us the most beautiful organic garden to look at & enjoy. These words can't even begin to really let you know how we feel. Thanks for Being You! m.y. Without a doubt... doing business with Tile Outlet & Granite was as seamless as possible. Each and every member of the Tile Outlet & Granite family made me feel like a valued customer from day one; whether calling back in for a substitute product to research, dropping material off at my home because something had to be adjusted mid project, or blessing us with an amazing human being, Tony, a master of tile setting. Our past GC for a home renovation (that claimed he & his PM were experts at doing tile), who is a complete shyster with no business even thinking he could install tile, especially to be within parameters for the excellent warranties that both Schlüter and ARDEX offer, which he sold us on, was a complete charlatan. Words can not even describe what Tile Outlet & Granite had to do in order to clean up the shoddy work done by someone claiming to know how to use Schlüter products. New to Boise, I had bought a home with great location, but in serious need of kitchen and bath counter upgrades. I visited one granite fabricator that acted like it was a bother to talk to me. A request for a bid went unanswered. That told me all I needed to know. I then found Tile Outlet & Granite. From the moment I walked in the store it was a totally different experience. It was immediately apparent that I was dealing with experienced professionals. They could answer my questions and provided good feedback and suggestions. They instructed me in selection of a granite slab and then they went to work with the fabrication process. When they came to install the granite, the work was superb. The workers were quiet, focused, worked as a team and knew what they were doing. I was surprised at how fast they worked. And amazingly they left no trace that they had been there other than the new granite. They were the cleanest workers I have ever had in my house! I selected a tile backsplash and that experience was was every bit as excellent as the granite installation. I have high expectations when I hire a provider for home services. I can honestly say TOG met my expectations and then some. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

From my first experience in this store to the last was amazing. First of all when I go into places of business I usually get ignored unless people are commission based in which they harass everyone because I am young. My experience here was not like that at all! I walked into the Tile Outlet over a year ago with interest but no real means to start a project. Phil was the guy who helped me figure out square footage based off my awful small hand drawn diagram on the back of a spam mailer and then he let me take a tile home. I returned the tile with no issues but didn't have the job started because I didn't have the means. fast forward a year later and I walk back in and was greeted and immediately assisted. Now usually people turn their noses up to a young gay couple but we were treated just like everyone else, and that's the way it should be! I worked with Kari to pick out the tile. Vince himself came to measure the rooms requested and he had a quote whipped up within a day, I was super impressed with how little time it took. Now I'm the kind of customer that changes her mind a few times before settling and although I'm sure it was a little annoying no one even seemed bothered by this which made me feel a lot better about it. Houses are pretty unpredictable and unfortunately my bathroom floor was very uneven, this bummed me out because it sounded like there wouldn't be a fix, but Vince and his brother thought about it and figured out a plan overnight and we got the floor installed in my master bathroom without cutting corners or compromising on the quality of work (which is why the room was uneven in the first place) I was so stoked that we could continue with the master bathroom. the installation was quoted to go from 12/5/17 - 12/9/17 but our tile installer Misha (SP?) was able to finish on 12/8/17! There was a small mix up with the grout color in the master bathroom but Vince worked with me to get it right, it's crazy how generous people are when you're truthful. I have the most beautiful tile in my kitchen and master bathroom and I'm very please with how I was treated and how well everything was put together.

Marco and his crew did an excellent job on our granite countertops and tile backsplash project! We had some last minute material and spec changes and they handled everything without a single hassle. The intricate tile design we chose required real craftsmanship and they made it happen. I was amazed that they were able to complete our granite/quartz/tile installation within a few days. I was hesitant to take on a kitchen remodel over the holidays, but Marco and his crew were kind enough to work over the weekend to ensure my home was in good shape and cleaned up in time for Christmas. Be extremely careful about what you are getting in quantity. I learned the hard way. My receipts showed the supposed square footage, not the boxes. My contractor picked up 83 boxes which contained 7 tiles, equaling 14 square feet. The total pickup was 996 square feet, not the 1200 listed. This was also evidenced when I ran out of tile. This also happened on a small order where I did the math for what I needed , added 10% for waste and was still 2 boxes short. The receipt does NOT show boxes, so you do not have recourse once you leave the store. Phil is argumentative, and although Marco seems decent, this has not been resolved so this is my PSA. This has cost me over $1500 in materials and trips back to the store for more tile. It was Florida tile so part of the issue is probably with the supplier too. Count the boxes AND the tiles. Sorry guys but that is the truth. Otherwise, good selection and customer service.

This place has great reviews online, and that was a reason I went there for my kitchen granite. I spoke with Phil, left him a drawing of my kitchen with measurements and was promised to get a quote for my kitchen shortly. I never got a call back from him (it has been over 6 weeks as of today), so I went with another company. Lately, I needed a remnant piece for my bathroom vanity and I called this place again asking if they have any left overs in a particular color. Again, spoke with Phil. He provided me a quote over the phone, and I liked it. I drove to the store, saw Phil and he honestly made me feel horrible. He said the quote he provided was for the smaller piece of granite even though I told him the size I needed over the phone, and the size I need would be twice as much. He didn't try to make it right, just left me hanging in the store. Not sure about other employees, but Phil made me angry enough to go online and write this review.

Phil is the worse employee I have ever seen. His employee messed up and tried to charge me and my husnand for it. We told him you never charge the customer for your mistakes. He was talking super loud to talk over me and my husband cause we were saying that is unethical. He was super rude and I would never use them again!! There work was good but they need help on there customer service. Phil also treats you different if you want to install your own counter tops which shouldn't matter. He puts you at the very bottom of the pile and when he has time is when you will get yours if you don't use his people to install it.

I visited the store and asked for an installation quote. I was told $5.99 sq foot, including materials. When I called back within the week to confirm, I was told there was no way they could meet that quote and that one of their employees tends to pull numbers out of thin air. Seem like lovely people, but the salesman's obvious dishonesty has permanently turned me away from this business.
