We bought our slabs for our kitchen there. Found a dolomite that Wayne assured us was very hard and durable. Paid for 3 slabs. They promised a refund if we only needed 2. Got to layout and they were trying to justify using all 3 slabs when we clearly just needed to. Silly games. Got two slabs installed and asked for the refund on the third. Weeks go by, multiple phone calls made to both Wayne and April. There was always another story and reason why they couldn’t do a refund every time we called. Finally threatened a credit card chargeback and that got it sorted. The stone itself is nice but it’s very soft and already etching despite 3 layers of sealer. Wayne assured us this was hard stone. Nope. The installers they recommended were good and they acted like they used them a lot, but they hadn’t. The whole operation is sketchy.

Everyone at The YARD is super helpful and knowledgeable. It's so clean everywhere in the yard. I came in looking for slabs for my kitchen and fireplace and found so many gorgeous materials. The entire team was so great, even offered me cold water and an umbrella because it was a really hot day. We are excited about our projects now that we have found our beautiful dolomite and soapstone slabs at The YARD. I can't wait for our home to be finished so we can have everyone over and not be embarrassed by our old, ugly countertops.

I visited the yard without an appointment today and was greeted by Wayne. I was beyond impressed with the kindness and knowledge that was shown to me. Wayne took the time to explain the whole process (I’m new to all of this), had great fabricator recommendations and has a beautiful selection of large slabs and remnants as well. If you’re looking for great slabs, want to work with honest and helpful people, this is your place.

I just wanted to share my experience because the team at The YARD is truly exceptional. Everyone there clearly loves what they do and takes the time to help you choose from their high-quality materials. Wayne, the owner, has been importing from the EU since the '80s, and his knowledge and experience are unmatched in Anaheim. The best part? You’d never guess—he’s down-to-earth, approachable, and always happy to answer any questions. Quality stones require a little extra care, but it’s so worth it when you get to enjoy and live with them every day. And if maintenance isn’t for you, no worries—they have plenty of other options to suit your needs. It surprises me that anyone could end up with a beautiful stone, installed perfectly, and still find fault with the supplier over blemishes caused by their own doing. I encourage you to visit and see for yourself before believing any negative reviews. As both a designer and a customer, I can’t recommend The YARD enough!

You will not find more knowledgeable individuals to meet your needs for stone veneers than Wayne, April and the staff over at The Yard. In addition to the fine selection and very competitive pricing, they have resources to ensure your project will be worry free and a pleasure to install. All this plus they are some of the nicest and truly personable folks we have done business with!

Review WOW!!!Talk about customer service! The BEST!!! I was so blown away by The Yard! We've shopped at so many stone places around Anaheim over the years, for multiple remodels. I've never experienced the level of customer service I experienced with The Yard! Not only that, they sell smaller slabs and remnants, whereas literally no other place does. We were looking for a small quartzite or marble slab 30x36 for an outdoor pizza oven stand we are building. We called over 10 places in Anaheim asking if they had smaller pieces or remnants or a bone pile and every place said "no" or told us to call a fabricator). I was about to give up until I called The Yard! Yes! They sell smaller pieces of stone (fractional) slabs - (in addition to selling the larger full size slabs)!!! We headed there immediately and were greeted immediately by April who was super friendly and had a big smile on her face. She took us back to an area where they had tons of smaller fractional slabs available in marble, quartzite, and other stones. Beautiful selection and many colors!! Within 5 minutes another girl came out and offered us an ice cold bottle of water. What a nice surprise! We spent about 15 minutes, going through a different colors and they were so helpful and taking them out of the allowing us to compare them side-by-side. We were so excited to have found this hidden gem!!! They have a wonderful wide selection of full-sized stone slabs, as well as fractional / partial / remanant stone slabs....we were in and out in 30 mins and knew we had to rave about this place to share our awesome experience!!!! We will be back for future projects!

Beautiful granite and marble. Great prices and you dont need a contractor's license to get a quote. When my son in law ended up in the hospital, Wayne went out of his way to meet me and our fabricator. He even texted my daughter personally and told her not to worry, he'd help me to get it handled. Amazing slabs and wonderful customer service. They really care. I highly recommend The Yard for all your granite and marble needs.

We found April and the other woman very helpful and knowledgeable. They helped us find the Quartzite we wanted for a fireplace and helped us estimate how much we needed. They also recommended a fabricator, Jose Martinez. He was amazing. He does really good work, cleans up, and has good customer service skills. We were so pleased.

We worked with Shawn. She was amazing!!!!!! So helpful even though she knew we weren't buyers, and were just doing research for our house build in Virginia. She had nothing to gain, but was still wonderful and took her time with us. She has given us her number and texted us as a followup, in case we need any advice "at any time." Outstanding and unexpected service.

My gf and I figured it would take an entire day of searching the tile mile of Anaheim to select our new kitchen countertop on a Saturday, not really sure what we wanted for materials or style. After looking at reviews, we stopped at The Yard for our first stop. We were immediately greeted by Wayne, who was very friendly and asked us to describe our situation and what we were looking for. He was really knowledgeable about the options and laid out the pros and cons of natural stone vs manmade materials. I don't think we were there longer than 45 minutes from the time we arrived until the time we had paid and were on the road back home feeling very amazed and happy with how easy the process had been. The process from there was just as smooth. We were provided an installer name Abraham Perez who came out to the house and built templates to cut the granite slab we had purchased. A week later, on the day we had planned around other construction in the kitchen, Abraham came and installed the countertop. Everything went like clockwork. Wayne was even generous enough to gift us some additional stone from another slab because we fell a little short of stone for our backsplash. Wayne always promptly responded to questions via text and his follow up on the job has been tops. Last step of the process is having one final sealer put on the stone, as it will make the stone impenetrable for many years to come. I can't say enough good things about Wayne, Abraham and The Yard.

I called looking for a very specific kind of granite to match what I currently have in my kitchen. Wayne was kind enough to take my number down and get back to me after going through his inventory. He also stated that if he didn’t have it, he’d call other locations to try and find it. The next day he was able to get back to me and while our search was unsuccessful, I really appreciate his help and it says a lot that he would take the time and call other businesses to help out a potential client.

The most AMAZING slab yard hands down!! We've been searching for weeks and weeks, and not that we didn't find plenty of beautiful slabs, we just couldn't find "the one". We decided to try "one more yard" and boy are we glad we did. Not only was our perfect slab sitting there just waiting for us to find it when we walked in, but the customer service was simply outstanding! Not only does Wayne love what he does and is so knowledgeable, he is also extremely kind and relaxed, making the whole experience such a pleasure. I already want to start another project just so we can go back and pick out some more slabs!! If you're in the market for the perfect slab, I highly recommend stopping by before making your final decision. I promise you'll be SO happy you did!!

I'm a B-Gen contractor. I had a project out in Buena Park and I honestly can't recommend this company enough. I've cancelled all my other contractors and I'll now only deal exclusively with The Yard. From sales to finish, they're the best Enrique the installer has been amazing throughout and his workmanship is second to none. I have two other projects going on in Pasadena and Beverly Hills. I'm purposely taking a drive out to go see them. You won't be disappointed. D Williams Construction LLC

We drove out to look for slabs to use for our kitchen remodel. I wanted something natural and with some character. Wayne helped us out! Talking to him about the different types of stones, you could tell he loves what he does and knows his stuff. We picked out some beautiful soapstone slabs with a greenish undergone. We had delays in our remodel and they held our slabs until our fabricator was ready and even kept us updated if he got in new shipments of slabs that we may like better! He gave us tips for upkeep for after they were installed. Great experience.

Our fabricator friend sent us to The Yard to find the slabs we need for our kitchen renovation. When we got there, Wayne came out to greet us and asking what we are looking for. They have beautiful slabs of dolomite, quartzite, marble, etc. on display in the yard. Wayne is very knowledgeable and passionate about natural stones. He took the time to explain to us different types of materials and stones that'd be suitable for kitchen. What's awesome is he has his own processing factory in Italy so he is able to control the quality of stones he is selling here in the US. Another great feature they have here is you are able to buy in half slab! Although we didn't find exactly what we are looking for at The Yard, Wayne was gracious enough to recommend a sealer for the quartzite we will be using in the kitchen. Overall a great experience at The Yard and with Wayne. I will definitely recommend my friends and families to come check The Yard when they need to look for slabs of natural stone.

April and Wayne have been great to work with. We purchased two slabs initially to do our counters. We needed some time to get our kitchen ready and they stored our slabs at no charge. When we were ready, we changed our mind and wanted to purchase different slabs. They gave us a full refund towards our new slabs. They have been so helpful and have always done anything they can to make things easier for us. We recently purchased another slab for our backsplash and have been very happy with everything!

I honestly, don't know where to begin. There is just so many wonderful things to say about our experience with The Yard. Our time with Wayne (Owner) and his team, was just amazing! From the minute we walked through that front gate, we were met kindness, professionalism and an insane amount of knowledge in the material being sold, along with enthusiasm in our project, as if it was them, picking out the stone for themselves. Wayne and April were amazing. The way they treated us, it felt as if we were family and after sharing with them, the absolute nightmare we went through with a local shop and fabricator near where we live, he assured us that we were in good hands. Wayne went out of his way, to explain their process and how he only works with select fabricators that he trusts. Wayne told us that he doesn't like using fabricators that can "Do It All" and that he has guys specifically for marble, guys specifically for granite, etc. etc. When I heard Wayne say that, I knew we were working with someone that loves what he does and takes pride in delivering quality results to his clients. Eswin (Orange County Surfaces), who Wayne paired with us for the fabrication and installation, was nothing short of amazing. Besides the results in the end and the stunning marble that The Yard provided, I feel like we've also gained new friends. Wayne is charming, has great style and is so so so kind. The level of compassion he had for what we went through with the previous contractor, meant the world to us. What we experienced with the previous fabricator, it literally zapped the joy we once had for remodeling our home. Wayne and his team have restored that joy. We still have our bathroom to finish and you can bet we will be using The Yard, to finish that project.

We had an awesome experience purchasing from the Yard. I like their system of keeping track of buyers because I had multiple visits and couldn't remember what I like they always know exactly what I am talking about. Wayne was very educated and taught us a lot on all the options they have. He was very kind and patient with us even though it took us 4 visits before we finally made a purchase because we were so indecisive. Everyone is super nice there. Wayne is just the best - I gave him a budget and a photo of what I wanted (after missing out on another piece elsewhere I had my eyes on) and he ended up finding something I loved at first try. On budget! There's tons of showrooms in Anaheim and many were good but in the end, I never felt that the people who helped me were interested in anything other than helping me choose something to make a sale. While I'm sure making a sale is important to Wayne, he doesn't approach it like that at all, you can tell he has an eye for finding pieces and really loves showing people the true beauty of each stone. And the service! Wow! At a slab yard! Bottled water, umbrellas for shade, and just all around made the experience top notch. Not even fancy showrooms have these small touches that really make you feel appreciated. Definitely never looking anywhere else for future projects we do. So excited to have our project finished now and see the final product with the pieces we chose here.

Finding just the right granite remnant is a tideous job. It takes time & patience, especially if you are looking for specific hard to find colors. My brother & I were out picking up our floor tile for my 2nd bathroom & we stopped at this place to take a look & see if they had anything I could use for my vanity. We were greeted by a very polite man named Ruben who gave us each a nice cold water bottle & went in & got April, the very sweet & extremely helpful salesgirl. I explained that I was looking for a granite, mostly green with a little pink if possible. I told her the size I needed. Ruben showed us every single piece of granite remnant in the size we needed & was very patient with me. The VERY LAST PIECE was it!!! I had seen a piece like it months ago while searching fir my first bathroom remodel (online), but figured I'd never see it in real life because it is very unique and certainly not for everyone. Anyway, April & Ruben were both very kind, patient and helpful. The price was right & I bought it! Thanks to those two, my search was short & pleasant! Thanks April & Ruben!

Remodeling a master bathroom and we wanted Quartz on the vanity top. I only needed a third of a slab and thank goodness I ran into The Yard. I had a good feeling about them from the beginning and the first set of quartz April showed me was the one. I quickly texted a picture to my wife and she agreed. Was happy with the price and the fact they could hang on to it until the following week when we would be ready for it. Now to find a fabricator/installer. Called a couple places and got brushed off with the price or months of lead time. April recommended a nice man Enrique and he was able to pick up the stone, fab and install it right away for a great price. We are super happy and I wanted to take the time to let the world know.

Most well earned 5 star I've ever given. If you want to buy stone in OC this is the place to go. I am a DIY'r because I'm particular and impatient and also a little frugal. When I first read reviews about the yard I thought it was going to be overpriced and a "wine and dine" kind of experience because of the way people talked up the customer service. I couldn't have been more mistaken in thinking that this would result in a markup. We had the best experience working with the yard. Night and day difference to almost every customer service experience I've had in recent times. We couldn't be happier with our countertops. From the start Wayne (owner) was extremely patient and helpful; all around awesome guy. I called around about ten places and all of them felt like there was 5 middle men and I was going to get overcharged for something that would end up being late and different than what I wanted. Lots of weird salesman who clearly new little about the industry. The yard is literally a parking lot with slabs of stone, there for you to look at. Wayne will spend as much time as you want showing you around and telling you about the geology of every one of them. Keep in mind our project was small (only one slab). I felt guilty that he spent as much time as he did showing us around but he was more than happy to do so. We really enjoyed looking at all of the stones and learning from him. Reasons why the Yard is different from every other stone place I could find: -Stone importer. You are buying slabs direct from the source, not picking out a style from a salesman who will then stack commissions and overhead and lead time on before you go to find that the slabs you ended up with are different than what you picked. -Competitive prices. We paid less for a large slab of real quartzite than most places charge for a smaller slab of man made quartz. Our stone is a piece of art formed by the earth over millennia. We went in planning to buy quartz but seeing the stones in person and looking at prices made it a no brainer. Pictures don't do these stone justice, there are all kinds of subtle coloring, undertones and details that pop out as you look closer - you do not get that with man made quartz (which they do sell as well). The yard clearly keeps overhead costs down but at no detriment to the customer experience. -Supplies partial slabs. They will buy back excess stone and then sell it to different customers saving you money both if you have excess and if you need a partial slab. They also will hold on to a slab that your purchase indefinitely and will buy it back at no coat if something changes. -Direct source to recommended installers. Wayne connected us to an installer he recommended. We paid and worked with the installer directly. He did an awesome job, was quick, good communication and fair pricing. Most showrooms act as a middleman to the installers or have their own installers (which means they can get overwhelmed with work easily and stack overhead costs on the pricing for install). He even let us pick out where we wanted each piece cut from the slab. -Quick and transparent communication. After looking at the slabs, we went home to sleep on it. After we made our decision I literally just texted Wayne what we wanted. He responded immediately and concisely with what he needed to process the order. He emailed me an invoice which was paid online and that was it. No waiting on hold etc. They called one time after handing us of to an installer just to check in and make sure we were happy with everything. Communication was perfect. I can't recommend this place highly enough. I would never consider going elsewhere after our experience here. You'd be crazy to go to a box store or fancy show room to pick out counters, based on samples, when there is an option to go to a place like this.

My husband and I visited The Yard looking for granite for our kitchen remodel project, and were greeted warmly by Wayne, who showed us around and seemed very knowledgeable. He was willing to spend time with us and answer all our questions, and that was much appreciated! Ultimately, we ended up picking granite slabs at a different slab yard, but before we made that decision, Wayne took the time to photograph he granite we were initially interested int his yard, and email them to me. He even took photos at different times of the day, so that we could see them in sunlight and in shade. He was very gracious when I finally informed him that we had chosen something else. I would recommend The Yard for the great customer service and their nice selection of stone slabs.

From the moment we parked and exited our vehicle, we felt welcomed by the staff. April answered our questions, took notes on our project and likes/dislikes. She guided us through their selection of beautiful stone slabs and it didn't take long for us to find a stunning granite that will be perfect in our kitchen. We had been to several stone showrooms searching for a suitable countertop. We are very happy we decided to include The Yard in our quest. We highly recommend The Yard and the great staff.

I have purchased material for my countertops here twice for a reason. The customer service is amazing, they are friendly, knowledgeable and carry a wide variety of materials. Wayne was very helpful and had a good eye for helping me pick the right colors to go with my bathroom and then on another occasion for my kitchen island countertop. The element that puts this stone yard above the others is that you can purchase partial slabs. I only needed a 1/4 slab for a small bathroom vanity, and I could get a slab in the size I needed without having to purchase an entire slab, which most stone yards require. He was easy to deal with and happy to show me many different slabs. He is also very knowledgeable about the characteristics of each material. I used his recommended fabricator for my bathroom vanity and he did a great job with installation and the craftsmanship was great.

We are redesigning the wet bar in our home and wanted some granite or other natural stone to compliment our kitchen granite. I found the YARD online and gave them a call, April answered and was very informative and asked if we had a time we'd be there. When we got there she showed us around, gave us a lot of options for materials and even educated us on a lot of the various materials. She was so helpful and welcoming, the place even offered us cold water and an umbrella as we walked through their yard on this very hot and steamy day. I would highly recommend The Yard if you're looking for granite or other natural or man-made stone. They are upfront, very honest, not hard-sell and truly want happy customers!

If you're looking for a stone slab or partial slab (remnant), look here first! We came in looking for a remnant for our fireplace hearth and the owner was so incredibly kind and helpful. He takes such good care of his slabs and I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. After visiting 4 other slab vendors and seeing cracks, disorganization or huge prices, I was losing hope. But my very last stop turned out to be the best! Next time I'm in need The Yard will be my first stop for sure.

Since we were on a tight deadline for a kitchen remodel project -- and had stopped at two other places already -- we visited The YARD. Sure glad we did! We found the oversized slabs we needed and April and Wayne were great. The issue was on delivery and we were nervous that a trucking company hiccup on our delivery date *to* the YARD would cause a delay overall in our project. But April and Wayne worked hard, got a new trucking company to pick up our slabs in Long Beach and get them to their shop, and our remodeler was able to pick them up just a few hours later than originally expected. THIS is the kind of customer service my wife and I love to receive. Hats off to The YARD and thanks to April and Wayne. Seriously...if you are seeking countertops and want a curated selection and excellent service, this is your place.

Amazing job!! Prompt reply via Yelp quotes request, professional, knowledgeable, and got the job done quickly with no hassle. I had cracked my bathroom countertop and needed to have it replaced ASAP. Yelp sent out my request for a quote to local businesses and wow did this company rise above all the others. All the responses either told me everything they couldn't do, or how difficult the job was going to be, or quoted me insane prices. No help at all. But the team at The Yard got the job done beautifully and made the whole process a pleasure. Would recommend them for all your marble/quartz/stone countertop needs.

We met Wayne on a Sunday afternoon. He spent a lot of time with us and helped us choose a beautiful piece of marble for our vanity top. They held it until we were ready and lined us up with great fabricator/installer. April stayed with us throughout the fab and installation process and helped with the fabricator communication and coordination. Although we were a small job I felt we were treated like million dollar customers.

The best selections I had ever seen!! It must be my lucky day to find the slab of my wife's dream. I was told most of their slabs came from Italy. We walked in and picked our slab in less than 15 minutes. It is like meeting the one. You will know that's the one when you see it. If you are looking for one of a kind countertops, try here first.

Wayne and April are the best, I've been looking for a countertop for my new kitchen, and I went to almost every place that sells countertop in Anaheim and honestly the best experience was at the Yard. Wayne is very knowledgeable, patient and extremely helpful. you can easily tell that he loves his job. April was very helpful and friendly as well and both would answer any question I have with a smile. Great selection of natural slaps, honest and professional.

Genuine, knowledgeable customer service. Excellent informative and COVID sensitive initial phone conversation with Wayne who immediately followed up with text including maps link. When I arrived at The Yard Alex saw me approach while he was having his lunch. He immediately jumped up to greet me and very professionally inquired about my needs. He provided great input as we reviewed slabs and he used my feedback to wisely introduce more options. Great honest responses to my questions about care and resiliency and not a hard sell. I really appreciate a respectful sales relationship. You'll get that here!! Found what I needed at a reasonable price and a team of people versed in flexing for construction variables.
