Extremely happy with the work from the design house in Denton. Purchased new carpet for our entire house. Ashley was great to work with. Paid for design consultation which we received. Asked some questions about it and she never replied. Decided to go in and pick out tiles on a Saturday. She said she would get back to us and never did. Ended up ordering from another retailer of that brand. Overall would not recommend based on our experience.

The team at the Design house did an awesome job of fixing our countertops! Another firm had installed them 10 years ago without using proper support techniques. They crashed down in the middle of the night and the Design House rushed in to save the day! They were super responsive, professional, courteous, and cleaned up our mess! I would highly recommend!

So I went in to look and the staff was off the charts. 3 beautiful ladies treated me like family. I felt like I won the lottery. Then the guys came out and were also very cool. I highly recommend this place. That was some food I brought but the place was just awesome. What a great staff.

We hired them about a year ago and held off the review. They did our tile in the bathrooms , laundry room, kitchen, fireplace. Along with doing the whole fireplace we also did all new carpet, backsplash. Would hire them again, they are quick to resolve any issues before, during, and after the projects along with correcting any bad spots after installing.

We had so much fun visiting the showroom to pick our engineered wood, countertops, backsplash, and carpet with our designer Ashley! I was overwhelmed with the options initially but she did a great job directing us towards the perfect products. We are going with a Shaw wood, calacatta venice msi countertops, Anderson tuftex carpet and an in stock backsplash tile that we loved. We picked out new cabinet hardware while we were there as well and are really excited to see this all installed soon. I’ll be back for future projects.

The Design House is your go to place for your next remodel. We hired the Design House to remodel our kitchen and two bathrooms including all the countertops and their work was so great that we had them replace all our tile floors and carpet in our home.. We also had them install a small bar in our home. Eddie did a great job of managing the project and “G” did an awesome job installing all the tile work. I cannot remember the names of the carpet layers but they were excellent as well. Jennifer, the owner, was also awesome to work with on our project and has an excellent eye for color, textures, and design and guiding you with your decisions on transforming your home. The Design House truely made our house a home! After having the Design House remodel our home, my parents were in need of new carpet in their home and we hired the Design House to install new carpet in their entire home. The Design House once again did another awesome job! My parents were extremely pleased with the professionalism and great quality of work of the installers. If you are looking to install new flooring, countertops, or looking to totally transform your home, I highly recommend the Design House! They are awesome!

Installation and customer follow up was amazing. Installer was an artist, matching the custom tile and stain to the original and took pride in his work as if he was going to leave his signature on it. Office staff called to confirm appointment and that the installer was in route and followed up after install. All in all, very positive experience and beautiful work on the flooring.

We hired the team at The Design House to do our master bathroom remodel and carpets throughout our house. Cindy was our sales rep that helped us through the design process. Being new to home ownership, and further home improvements, it was really helpful to work with her to scope this out. The install went well - to have the tiling, flooring, and granite countertop needs and installs happen all under one roof. This made the hand off between the phases smooth. We were impressed with the project timeline as we got all this done in less than a week. We have since had their team replace flooring at our office and they did an excellent job there as well. Highly recommend them!

I've been working with Kelsey and so far everything is on target for my large remodel. Knocking down to walls for an open concept. The computer image is becoming a reality. She is just a phone call away if I have questions with the day progress. The whole project is scheduled for 5 week, we are in week two and everything is what I was quoted. Do NOT use this company. We packed up our house and completely moved out for three weeks. Only to move back in and realize EVERYTHING was done wrong. Wrong carpet installed. Wrong grout used. Sloppy caulking. Our freshly painted cabinets to be scratched and scraped and tile mud slapped all over it. The company first tried blaming us for the carpet saying we signed a contract for the carpet but when you were promised a price match for carpet and a picture sent to them showing what carpet you want. The company couldn't back out of that corner they put themselves in. They "kindly" offered to fix the carpet, grout and caulking. Told us the carpet guys would be aware they had furniture to move, they were not! So my husband and I moved most of it. They had someone come out and stain the grout. Showed up the day before Thanksgiving as we were trying to pack and leave for the holiday to work when he said he wouldn't be back until Saturday. Super nice guy but some spots got missed so even he had to come back out. Our brand new fridge got dented when he moved it out to stain the grout under there. Caulking guy came out and completed the dining room only. Needless to say... when you move out of your house to give a crew an empty house to work there is NO EXCUSE for them to not take full advantage and complete a job correctly so the home owners aren't inconvenienced for over three months of workers being in and out of their house. We had a locked key on our door for three months so I couldn't even shower when my husband was home because I never knew when workers would just show up will my kids are running around the house. This job should have been a zero profit job with all the mess ups and inconveniences. Did they discount some things yes, but there should have been more done and I'm honestly disgusted that this was the company we chose.

If I could give zero stars I would. Our experience has been absolutely horrible. From the wrong cabinets being ordered to terrible work it could not have been worse. Our project, kitchen remodel, was to take 2 to 3 weeks. We are now approaching 10 months. We are on the third set of drawer fronts and still not right. Almost everything has needed to be re-done at least once, sometimes 3 and 4 times. There is almost no communication with us and between themselves. They schedule a time to come work and don't show up. When they do show up it's late in the afternoon and they stay for a few hours. So instead of having your life disrupted for a day, it will be disrupted everyday for weeks on end. If things don't fit, are broken, or wrong colors they install them anyway and hope you don't notice. Are cupboards were installed 28 inches from the counter tops and when we continually told them they looked too high, we were told that is the code in TX only to find out there is no code. Now I can just reach the first shelf. They have told us they are going to make it right but every time they "fix" something, 10 more problems are created. I can't emphasize enough that you need to go elsewhere. Save yourself the hassle.

The "Design House", formerly known as "Carpet Plus" have a large ad in the April 2018 addition of a local paper. In this ad, they have the audacity to include a picture of a room in our house, even if they had ZERO to do with the design of our house. Furthermore, the countertop in the picture was not purchased from them. Our Argyle builder did use crews from Carpet Plus / The Design House on tile jobs in the bathrooms and the kitchen. Most of this work was of such poor quality that it had to be re-done. Many of the workers were unskilled and unqualified. We would NEVER recommend this company to anyone, much less support their advertising.
