The cabinets are solid wood and great quality - he also helped us get the countertops installed and can do the project full turnkey which takes a lot of hassle out of things if you don't have a general contractor. The cabinets are gorgeous and made of solid wood construction with soft close and awesome pull outs! Derek really took the time to make sure that we were happy with every aspect of our cabinetry! The Cabinet Depot also put in our bathroom vanities, including countertop, sink and cabinet. Overall, a very customized experience without the custom price! When my wife and I decided to get our kitchen remodeled, we started looking for new cabinets. We checked out several stores but couldn't find any that really stood out. The contractor that we hired to do the remodel suggested that we check out Cabinet Depot. We are so happy that we did. We called ahead and made an appointment to meet Derek, the owner. Derek is a very friendly guy and he took his time with us, pointing out where the quality of his cabinets is far superior to the other cabinets we had been looking at. Between the cabinets themselves, the hinges, and the hardware, we could definitely see that the quality was much better. But that was just the beginning. Derek took a personal interest in our project and worked with us and our contractor to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted, when we needed it. He was always available to answer questions and returned phone calls and text messages promptly. His customer service is outstanding and the price we paid for our cabinets is very fair. We highly recommend Cabinet Depot to everyone who is looking for quality cabinets at a fair price!

Just realized that we never posted a review. Our neighbor recommended Derek at The Cabinet Depot after we were frustrated from waiting 2 weeks for a paid for in home countertop measurement and estimate from a big store. Then the big store said 30-60 days to prepare them. Derek came to the rescue, estimated initially by text picture, had a person here the next day and delivered us beautiful countertops & backsplash in record time! We need to add that Derek also gave us a better price than the other store and higher quality quartz! We have received so many compliments and we really owe this place a thousand thanks for the beautiful and timely kitchen!

This project was from the Spring of last year. We had (almost) fully figured out what we wanted the re-design to look like but needed some help with it. Derek took the time to listen to what we were going for, made a couple of adjustments once we figured out the appliances, and came up with a really clean and functional solution to SQUEEZE EVERY BIT of cabinet space in to our little kitchen. The design drawings were well presented and both Derek and his crew were exceptional at all levels from design to build quality to installation. The only reason I am so late on this review is I wanted to get final pictures with all of the appliances in place which unfortunately took a long time from the company we purchased them from. I couldn't be more pleased with how this kitchen turned out and when I am ready for new cabinets for my bathrooms, I know who I will be reaching out to.

Derek is the best!! I recently had Derek complete my kitchen renovation in my new house. His product and customer service (as always) was amazing! There is no one else I will go for my cabinet needs. My kitchen is absolutely beautiful and I love it! When Derek says his product will be ready - it is ready either then or before that time. From demo to install - he hits every deadline that he sets. In addition, since I first used him in 2013 - he has expanded his products offered. This time I also ordered flooring from him and he was exceptional in that area as well. For example, I went to the site to view the flooring in Anaheim and was told by a salesperson that my top choice flooring was out of stock. So, when I called Derek to place the order for flooring choice #2 (needed to get flooring installed fast!) and I happen to mention that I really liked a different flooring more, he said he would call his own rep and would try his best to get my top choice by my deadline. Wow! This is just one of the many examples where Derek consistently goes above and beyond to help! You can tell he truly cares about his customers. Also, in 2017, I ordered from Derek a custom bathroom vanity for my master bathroom that included a make-up vanity and double-sink. I use it everyday and am so appreciative to have it! Such great quality! As always, I will continue to recommend Derek to my family and friends (and well me too - I will be calling him again to install another vanity in a different bathroom!) Yelp still only allows 5 stars - but I would give him way more if I could!!

He was always available to answer questions or address any issues anytime and always promptly. So Cabinet Depot didn't have the specific finish I wanted but tried to work with me to find something close for our kitchen remodel. But they had exactly what I wanted for our bathrooms. The timeline for delivery from their suppliers were significantly better than Home Depot and Lowe's by almost two months!!!! (Damn covid!) And their pricing was fair. I had measurements that Derek worked with, which he used to create a 3D layout of the cabinets configuration we selected. We then scheduled a time for him to come out and double check the measurements and he made recommendations on how to make the layout better and more functional. Knowing the fixtures that were going in place, he helped me select the correct ones to ensure the best fit. I highly recommend Derek and The Cabinet Depot for any of your cabinetry needs.

8/12/2020 updated review: I hired Derek back in 2017 to do my kitchen cabinets and recently was in need of a replacement shelf. I texted Derek and he responded in less than 5 minutes. He had a replacement shelf ready for pick up the very next day. I went to his store and he was there to personally give it to me. Even with his busy schedule and his many customers, he personally made sure he took care of me. No matter how small and insignificant my request was he treated me with utmost care and attention. I can't express how fortunate I was to have him do my cabinets back in 2017. Lastly, my cabinets are still going strong and look exactly how they looked when he first installed them back in 2017.

Derek is amazing at his job. I remodeled my kitchen (floors, cabinets, countertops, sink, and appliances) and since it was my first time, I didn't know what to expect. When I got to his shop, he walked me through some of his items and gave me a good feel for what to expect. He then came to my place a week later and measured everything he needed to in about 7 minutes. Shortly after I went back to his shop and picked out all of the pieces. He's friendly, knowledge, flexible, and very patient as I took about 45 minutes going back and forth to figure everything out. When it came to the work, he gave me a great quote and outlined the expectations to a T. One piece of feedback is that it took a bit longer to finish (2 weeks instead of 1), but let's be serious that doesn't even matter. Two weeks is really fast. His team was really nice, very professional, and needed little to no guidance. They came in, knew exactly what to do, and got to work. I would definitely recommend him to anyone hoping to remodel their kitchen. I'm considering them for my bathroom project, but I'll have to wait for the dust to settle a bit before going through that process. Thanks Derek!!

Let me start with the fact that Home Depot was going to remodel our kitchen. Never happened. It was one delay after another and after almost 5 weeks of not even ordering materials yet, my husband called Cabinet Depot. He spoke to Derek on Thursday 2/20, Derek went to our house on Friday 2/21, took measurements and had a quote to me by Saturday 2/22 with exactly what we wanted through HD, but better materials. And his quote came in almost exactly to HD's and HD had given me a courtesy 20% discount for the delays. Derek's team started work Monday 2/24 and cabinets were installed by Thursday 2/27!! Countertop took another few days and the entire job was completed by Monday afternoon 3/2. I was blown away!!! He saved our timeline by well over a month! We are also out of state with the property located in CA so I haven't even met him yet! But next time we are in town we will head straight to his shop and give him a big hug! Thank you, Derek! You and your team are amazing!!!

Derrick was excellent, DETAILED and organized which made a semi daunting task of creating a custom kitchen and laundry room that much easier. There are so many details in deciding which cabinetry goes where and how and where to place appliances. How big you want the island, how to maximize storage and even how you want the side of the cabinetry to look when it ends. So SO many decisions that my husband and I didn't know we had to make, but Derrick thought of them ALL and then walked us through as he presented option after option enabling us to create the custom kitchen and laundry room of our dreams! He even helped us order custom refrigerators doors, so that our kitchen facade is truly seamless! We are so pleased with the quality of the cabinets themselves! We shopped around A LOT and everything that was semi affordable was all pressed particle board for the bases of the cabinets, but The Cabinets Depot uses real wood! Love that!! So nice and very well made. Plus they use lacquer instead of paint. More durable and a cleaner finished look. I could go on and on! There is just so many wonderful things to mention. I shopped around for a new vanity cabinet, and I even considered ordering one from Internet only dealers. I stopped in at The Cabinet Depot, and I decided to order based on the sampling on display. The quality of the vanity cabinets is better than all of the Orange County places I have visited. The price was also better. I was looking for quality first. I purchased two cabinets and a quartz top with under mount porcelain sink for my bathroom makeover. The quality being so much better than what is out on the market, I expected to pay for it, but woo-hoo! I had the opposite of sticker shock! Of course, I played it cool, and asked Derek if the quote included the quartz top and sink installation because my contractor would be installing the cabinets, and he said YES! I have two more bathrooms to update, and my hubby said he wants his to look the same as this one! See for yourself, my pictures are being uploaded with my review. Our condo kitchen became damaged as a result of a neighboring water leak. We got quotes from many contractors but felt the most comfortable communicating with Derek at The Cabinet Depot. He does not do any of the additional contract work that we needed but he referred us to Blake Construction and as a team, we got our kitchen remodeled quickly, thoroughly, and professionally. We weren't sure how to maximize the cabinet space in the off standard width of the bathroom and Derek walked us through all the options. We are thrilled w the quality and resulting layout. My husband and I had already visited two other vendors for quotes and designs when we found Derek at the Cabinet Depot. Not only was he personable and easy to work with, but his customer service was exceptional. He had everything we wanted for our Kitchen remodel and was able to piece it all together for us in a timely matter that worked with our schedule. It was so nice to have someone be able to manage the project and all it's components for us. The only thing we had to do was order a faucet and backsplash. Piece of cake, he took care of the rest. Now our new kitchen is done and we could NOT be happier. We will be using him for our bathrooms too. Highly recommend!

Working with Derek and his team was fantastic!! Derek has a good eye for design and ideas of what types of cabinets to you and gives you options to maximize countertop space and cabinet space along with customization. Pricing seemed to be spot on for the quality you are getting! (Nice oak wood) him and his team were very efficient getting the cabinets installed and they were able to impress themselves by cutting our quartz countertop around a foundational post we have, you can't even see where they cut it in the quartz. I highly recommend using Derek and the cabinet Depot. He is very upfront and honest about his work and working with your timeline. We love our kitchen and especially the cabinets and countertops!

We used The Cabinet Depot for a kitchen remodel in spring 2018. Derek helped us create an absolutely stunning kitchen. The cabinets are beautiful and so well constructed. Derek is very friendly and easy to work with. He helped us with the decisions we wanted help with and gave us suggestions and advice, but also gave us a lot of space to make the decisions. We never felt pushed into any decisions. His goal was for us to love our kitchen and we do! The cabinet installers were amazing, and went above and beyond in the finishing detail work to make everything look just right. The countertop fabricator and installer was flexible and helped us with an unusual-shaped kitchen island that turned out better than we ever dreamed due to their skill. Derek coordinated all aspects of the cabinets/countertop, and also worked closely with the general contractor who he recommended (Blake Construction, who was also fabulous) to keep everything on schedule. We couldn't be happier with our beautiful new kitchen and we 100% recommend Derek and The Cabinet Depot.
