My experience was very good. We were welcomed and helped right away. Our project is small, but after a short discussion and very helpful questions, we had a good idea of we needed. It took us a short while to select about four samples to take home. I recommend Surface Masters, their very good at what they do.

My wife and I wanted to update our fireplace hearth before our new gas fireplace insert arrived. After talking to other friends and reading several 5 reviews, I decided to reach out to Surface Masters. I knew I was in good hands when I drove to their Napa office and was welcomed in by Andrew and his assistant. They were so very welcoming! I explained what I wanted and gave them my measurements of my old brick hearth. Andrew entered the measurements in his computer and I had the estimate in my hands before leaving. The entire process was smooth. They came out to my house, took fine measurements, and built my hearth, then their install guys, Cesar and Marco arrived with the new hearth and all supplies/ materials. Both Cesar and Marco really care about their craftsmanship and it shows! They are very meticulous and fine detailed in every aspect of their craftsmanship! Their final completion turned out beautiful and my wife and I couldn't be happier! This was no simple job and I would hire Surface Masters again in a heartbeat! If you are looking for the best company in the bay area, look no further, you will be a happy customer! Thank you very much Andrew and all staff that helped create our beautiful new fireplace hearth!

They did a great job. Everything was very timely, end they were very easy to work with. Also they found a way to make our small counter work with some material that they already had in stock, so that saved us about $1,000. I am very glad that I used Surface Masters!

Total professional experience from the casual walk-in browse to our completed kitchen surface update. Office staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about products and processes to give u a real idea about what to expect. Demo teams know what they're doing! Ours was a surface upgrade only and the team was able to get the old tile off and new plywood down without damaging our cabinets. Install was super slick and the results are perfect. These guys are the best.

Highly Recommend! They were great from start to finish for our kitchen remodel. Anna and Carolyn in the showroom assisted us. They are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They really know their selection of products and guided us in making our choice. Quotes were provided quickly and accurately and they did their best to work with our schedule and timeline. Guy (the owner) came out to do the measurements...he is so friendly and personable. And when it came time for the installation, those men were also top notch! It all went smoothly and we are very pleased with SurfaceMasters AND our new kitchen surfaces.

I don't really care about using locals (typically), like a lot of people, unless they're great! I'll pay the extra, for the service. We had our countertops installed by Surface Masters (who did them at our previous house too), and it was totally worth it! I didn't bother getting any other bids because I trust Guy Williams (owner). What a stand up person he is! He and his guys did a fabulous job, but there was a problem with my sink. I wasn't thrilled with how it turned out (partially my own fault I guess). Anyway, he made it better! They spent more than a day making it "right"! They were totally professional, and courteous. They also cleaned up after themselves. The kitchen was cleaner than when they started! I couldn't more highly recommend any company!

Like Ron T., I would rate Surface Masters 10 Stars if available. After replacing the old floor covering and repainting the walls, the cracked and stained laminate kitchen counter top stuck out like a sore thumb. We needed a new counter top badly, and wanted to keep it period correct, not some grey cold slab. The results are perfect! The courteous workers and office staff knew just what was needed, and delivered on time, and the results looked better than I could have ever dreamed of. Guy even made us two new cutting boards to complete the transformation.

I wish I could give 10 Stars!!! We started our kitchen remodel, picked out our kitchen cabinets our sink our flooring but were having a difficult time narrowing down the counter tops! After having Surface Masters giving us no less than 5 different quotes on 5 different materials; they were incredibly patient!! We finally decided on Cherry Butcher Block. The counter top they put together for us is nothing short of amazing. Under mount sink, miter'd joints that are flawless. Every surface, every edge sanded perfectly. Installation was quick and professional. And they even made us a beautiful cutting board with some of the remnants!! If we ever need counter tops again, we won't go anywhere else!!

Guy and his boys at Surface Masters did a wonderful job installing our new granite in our remodeled kitchen. Completed the job right on schedule and right on budget. Because of their care, we were able to squeeze out a bar-top counter out of the 4 slabs we had bought. This ended up saving us big bucks.

Unfortunately they installed my granite kitchen top with a crack in it. Guy (the owner) was well aware of it and installed it anyway. He lied to us and then said he would compensate me for the error. He never did. Told me to put a soap dispenser over the crack....... Thanks Guy, really pleased with your wonderful customer service. It's okay though, we never paid him the $3,500 we still owed him. I told him to take me to court. We never did hear back from him and we sold the house a year later. BAD NEWS!
