We wanted to remodel our kitchen and got several bids. The bid we got from Southern Breeze was very comparable to other bids we received. The deciding factor was Daniel's vision for our dream kitchen and for us to see a digital rendering of what our kitchen would it would look like. He was not able talking us into spending all of our money! He would try and offer money saving suggestions. They were always on time and extremely respectful of our home and belongings. Out kitchen turned out so great and added so much value to our home as well. I have referred them to several people who have also loved the work they have done.

-----Thanks to Daniel Gammon and his team at Southern Breeze Home Design Center in Murfreesboro, we have an absolutely beautiful, completely remodeled kitchen in our home in Smyrna. The scope of work included a total gut and removal of our existing kitchen, development of a design concept for the new kitchen, all construction, including installation of a support beam to replace two load bearing walls (for the open concept), installation of a new cabinet system, floors, and tiling, installation of all new appliances and fixtures that we purchased, and all new plumbing and electrical. On 7/30/24 we signed the contract to begin work. By the first week of October, the project was complete, ahead of schedule. -----The entire process from start to finish was actually a pleasant experience. They put much effort into protecting the remainder of our home and furnishings from damage so there was none. Daniel kept us informed about their work schedule a week in advance and frequently came by to answer any questions we might have or just to make sure we were satisfied with the workmanship. Every worker and subcontractor removed all trash and swept the construction area prior to leaving for the day. The entire crew were courteous, trustworthy, and knowledgeable about the scope of work; they were professionals who cared about the quality of their work, true craftsmen. All materials and product provided by Southern Breeze were those we chose during the selection phase of the project. While installing our new appliances, they were careful to follow the manufacturers’ guidelines so as not to void our warranties. Today, with fraudulent practices and scams around every corner, and good customer service a rarity, it is inspirational when you have the experience of dealing with people who deliver everything they promised and exceed your expectations at every turn. -----If you are a reasonable person that honors your commitments, I highly recommend Southern Breeze Home Design Center for any home remodeling project. If you are a flaky, irresponsible, unreasonable person who manufactures issues to get discounts, please call someone else, because Daniel and his crew are good, honest people who deliver and deserve only the best clients. Thank you Daniel, Kenny, Leslie, and Crystal for our fantastic kitchen and a job well done! We’ve had zero problems, and many compliments, since completion and Southern Breeze Home Design Center will be who we call when we decide to tackle our master bath project. Excellent experience with this company. This single woman needed help with kitchen cabinets falling apart and off my wall. 😩 I reached out to Daniel Gammon, and he sent his team out to rescue me. Another company was going to charge me almost $1000 to "repair" my cabinet, and these guys out of the goodness of their hearts had it fixed in 10 minutes and didn't even charge me! I am incredibly grateful. I've seen this company's work for quite a few years and am impressed. Thank you so much for taking care of me!!! I'll definitely call you whenever the time comes for me to replace all my cabinets! 🙏🏼

We have worked with many contractors since we moved to TN, and this has been our best experience so far. We needed an indoor remodeling work (floor, cabinets, drywalls and doors) to be completed within a tight deadline. Southern Breeze was the only company to give us a realistic time estimate. They did a great job for a competitive price and completed everything on time. We were particularly impressed by Dave, the project manager, who stopped by our home almost every day: he not only ensured the high quality of the job, but was also very proactive in addressing little issues and hang ups that may have otherwise delayed the work. Without any hesitation, we recommend Southern Breeze.

This work was done in 2018 so let me lay out the experience with getting this project done. After getting multiple bids I decided on Southern Breeze even though they were a little higher partly because I was sold on the reliability of the Schluter shower pan and system that was being pushed by them. Schluter has good warranties despite the fact that SB only warranties their work for a year. I recently contacted SB to ask about the manufacturer warranty, but was ghosted multiple times and eventually received responses after multiple inquiries, but only to the tune of we don't insure work done in 2018. The reality was, I was trying to inquire on the system warranty that I had paid up for, which should technically be covered by Schluter. Now let's get down to the actual work itself. Early on there was no project manager. One afternoon I walk in to them sealing up an exterior wall with my water pipes and NO insulation. I told them to stop and contacted the company that I didn't want an exterior wall with no insulation. That got fixed, but fast forward, the wrong amount of tile was ordered for the tub, got half set and the rest scraped to get more tile. Then, the tile gets finished being set and I see the tile guy packing up and all the tiles around the drain had thin set coming out above the tiles with almost no room for grout. I asked him if he was going to clean it up a bit before leaving because the grout would never stick and they said it would be fine, then quit working for SB. At this point, even though we had gone over the design, I was the only one dealing with it to make sure things from the design were done. Also at this point it was a month behind schedule, which the schedule was also one of the reasons I used them too. Eventually, a project manager was hired on and the new contractor made the remainder of the experience with them much better. These individuals were the reason I never posted this review from the start. Just make sure if you are wowed by the Schluter 10 year warranty, know you will get no help with the work they did.

We were very excited to meet the Owner- Daniel. We were interested in a kitchen remodel. On the phone I described what we were interested in doing. Daniel informed us that he had actually done a very similar remodel on a home with the same floor plan. In our minds, this was perfect! He has the knowledge of the floor plans, previous experience with our remodel goals, etc. Daniel arrived to our home to discuss the project and provide a quote. We walked into the kitchen area (Daniel, ,myself and my wife) and I started describing what we were wanting to do. I had even drawn up a floor plan on my computer. 3 minutes into our conversation, Daniel asked what our budget was. I responded that we don’t really have a budget right now because we have absolutely no idea what a remodel would cost. I informed him that we have plenty of money to put towards the remodel, but cannot offer a budget because we just don’t know. We don’t know what materials cost, labor, permits, etc. This is our first time working on a house project of this magnitude. I also questioned why having a budget was so important to him at this time. The three other reputable contractors (who visited the house and are going to provide starting quotes) asked if we had a budget in mind- but when we explained our financial situation and lack of knowledge on remodels- they understood and said- let me put something together and we will go from there. Daniel was visibly upset that I was not able/willing to give him a budget. He was frustrated. He asked me, “Can I ask why you are not willing to give me a budget?” Again, I explained why. He was not happy with my explanation. He then said, “Ya know what, I can see that this is not going to work out, I don’t see us working well together.” He then shook my hand and walked out of the house. My wife and I stood there, absolutely speechless. I could not believe what had just happened. I called his office number and informed them of the incident. I wanted to share with them how upset we were over our 3 minute meeting with Daniel. The person in the office was very respectful, apologized and appreciated my call. Our budget could have been $50k, $80k, $100k…..we didn’t know until we saw some numbers. Southern Breeze lost our business for sure- but according to Daniel, they didn’t want our business anyways. So I guess we both win. Fair warning to those interested in getting a quote from Daniel- If you don’t have a cost on how much you are willing to spend on your project- don’t bother calling. Your relationship with Daniel will be approximately three minutes long and he will abruptly break up with you. Honestly- this is the strangest experience I have had in a long time. Daniel, I hope that you and your company find plenty of budget determined clients out there to help keep your business thriving…….or maybe you just continue to turn down people’s money and are forced to shut your doors. BTW- we had plenty of money to spend, plenty. Response to Owner’s Comment- Eye rolling and huffing? Seriously? I’m a 42 year old man, not an 8 year old boy. I called you for your advisement and expertise! Shopping list? Had you given me the chance explain further, instead of shutting me down because you didn’t get a budget number, you would have understood our goals. You got even more upset when I didn’t understand why you required one. You obviously have a budget minimum- next I suggest you start with that. What is interesting is that I have four other contractors now who are willing to help us out, I had great meetings with all of them, willing to put in the work and provide estimates. Had you just listened, you could have used your professional experience and intellect to offer a few ball park figures. Without spending days of your valuable time working up quotes. I would never expect that from any of the contractors- I asked them for cost estimates….to be laid out in more detail if we formally agreed to work together on the project. You didn’t want to offer any of your time, which is obviously much more valuable than your competitors.

Complete kitchen remodel: My wife and I highly recommend using Daniel and his team of professionals. From start to finish Daniel and team helped us plan, design and come up with a perfect remodel on a 50 year old highly outdated kitchen(imagine harvest gold and green from the 70's)Leslie gave us great design options. Kenny was on time every morning to lead the demo and construction. Daniel was quick to follow up and the communication was excellent. When I tell you, this company is amazing I mean that 100%. This was no easy job. We live in a 1950 build home. So it needed a lot of work, but Southern breeze home design came in and made our dreams for this home. Come true. This was the most wonderful experience that we have ever had with contractors. Everyone that showed up at our house to do work was absolutely wonderful. They were always on time very respectful always kept things cleaned even through the most craziest demo. They moved our kitchen from one part of the house to another. They redid all of our floors even had to level them out, put in the most beautiful kitchen and built me my dream fireplace they went above and beyond. If we had to do this over, We would most definitely use them again. We can't think Southern breeze home designs enough for making our dreams come true and making this a wonderful experience.
