We had an odd shaped granite cut for our sink and wanted to replace the small double sink with a large single sink. Royal Designs cut the granite and put in the sink we purchased. Dan also offered his plumber at a much less cost than the quotes we were receiving to install new faucet and RO system (we purchased). They completed the job in one day and I am loving our new large sink! Thank you!

Dan did a super job from measuring appointment to install. He helped us during the granite selection telling us where to go for the best remnant for our small powder room vanity. His crew built a custom support for the heavy granite without a cabinet underneath. The install went smoothly at another appointment. Cost was was unbelievably reasonable when compared with other fabrication shops! The workmanship was a perfect miter at the edge. Dan even helped me decide on bowl/sink and faucet placement drilling the holes needed. We are definitely going to use Dan on another bath renovation

Royal Designs was really great from beginning to end. Daniel gave me great options and guidance when I needed it. He has a great eye and made great suggestions. The pricing was very competitive. The selections were just what I needed. The job was done quickly and the installers were also really amazing. They knew what they were doing. Quality and install was great. They helped me use up the leftover material for a backsplash, which saved me on tile backsplash. I would use this company again without hesitation.

Give Royal Designs and Dan my highest recommendation. Dan provides a very personalized and hands on service. From helping select quality slabs to attending to all of the installation details. His crew was very organized and keep cleaning as the project progressed. Best of all they handled the little challenges that crop up in a renovation (nothing square, level, or plumb) very well. Pricing was very competitive. Overall very pleased.

Dan and his company are the real deal. My wife and I were in a hurry to get counter tops as we were getting our kitchen cabinets replaced and needed the counter tops installed before. Last company we worked with was horrific on their timelines and played games with us, so we dropped them. Within one week, Dan said he could have it installed. We paid him, trusted him, and 100% delivered as exactly as he said. His crew, Johnathan and his partner, were extremely hard working and respectful. Their attention to detail is top notch. They wasted no time and done within two days (replaced kitchen counter tops and bar counter tops). We took a chance and trusted all the other reviews here and they were right. Thank you Dan!

We looked for so long & got quotes from so many people but Dan could guarantee quality in the quickest time frame with the fairest price. He gave me 4 different slab companies to choose from & told me where we could find something in our budget in exactly what we were looking for! He came out & measured and was ready to install within a week! They did a great job and worked for a while on a particularly awkward corner we have and made it look better than we could have ever imagined. Do not hesitate to hire them! They’ll do a great job!

I got a recommendation off of Next Door and I'm so glad I did. Daniel came out the next day for the estimate, gave me the price to install on the spot. I ended up going to the yard to pick out a slab and have it delivered to him for fabrication. I was working with Lowes and they were taking so long I cancelled my contract and got my money back. The countertops look amazing. He actually cut the slab I bought so perfectly. The heavy variation part of the slab he placed on the island and I couldn't even tell a seam was made at the sink as I had an apron sink installed and they had to cut around it. Don't listen to bad reviews. The pictures speak for themselves.

Dan and his crew did an incredible job on our new quartz kitchen countertops. Working with Dan was great---------he responded quickly and often, was very patient and had great advice. Having seen many bad quartz seams on the internet, I was particularly concerned about the placement and appearance of our seam. Well, no need to worry-------you can barely find the seam b/c they did such a great job. My husband is a realtor and has been in thousands of houses and says that this is the best seam he has ever seen (or not seen b/c he can't even find it, lol). We had bought our house sight unseen and live 1700 miles away. Everyone I hired, I hired off of the internet based on reviews. Dan was clearly the best of the people I hired and made the long-distance, sight-unseen project easy and stress-free. It was so great to walk in months after the kitchen was done and see perfect countertops! Will definitely use Dan again to do the master bath. Do not hesitate to use Dan and Royal Designs.

From start to finish, Dan and his crew made our countertop project go smoothly. It came in on time and on budget even with the original slab arriving at Dan's shop broken by the stone supplier and having to go through the selection of a new slab. The kitchen looks great. When we had questions, Dan responded quickly. The installers actually showed up early, were in and out in about 4 hours and were very respectful of our home as they did their work. Just a little dust trail in the alley is only evidence they were here besides the new countertops. They took the time to make even minute adjustments in cuts to ensure the back splash, sink and cook top fit perfectly. We love our new kitchen countertops, and highly recommend Royal Designs!. Thank you Dan!

Dan and team were excellent and the final product is incredible. We were given a bit more ownership of the process which was nice since Royal Designs just gave an install quote and it was up to us to pick a slab that fit our budget and style. The slab we picked was an inch short of the dimensions that Dan had asked for due to availability. After the slab was delivered, we then had a good call going over fabrication and options for how to make sure we could still get the size we wanted - Dan had several ideas based on our dimensions and pattern and was able to make a beautiful final product. Install took just an afternoon and the counters are absolutely incredible. Adds $10k to my kitchen right away!!! Thank you!

My experience with Daniel and Royal Designs was exceptional. I took my time and did my due diligence by getting several estimates, and Daniel was by far the most responsive and reasonable out of all of them. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Dan and his crew were so amazing. They were quick to respond with a quote, very friendly, professional and proved to be extremely trustworthy. During the busiest time of the year, They were able to have the job done within days. And even though our job was relatively small, I felt like we were treated as a valued customer. We have been wanting to replace our kitchen sink for a long time, but our existing counter needed to be further cut to fit the new sink. I had a hard time finding someone capable or willing to do this job. I called over a dozen places before I found Royal Designs. Their pricing was great, the service was above and beyond and the work they did was amazing! We couldn't be more happy. The process was seamless and the end result is stunning! I highly, highly recommend Royal Designs for your next project you won't be disappointed!

Dan, Luis and Alex and the other crew at Royal designs just finished up my counter and they look GREAT!!! Stunning Look, Great Install and Superb Value. I shopped and vetted other Yelp and non Yelp Counter Fabricators and at the end of the day I found I would be paying MORE, alot more like 2'x's more. These companies are large, expansive, have great showrooms, office staff and heavy marketing.................OF WHICH YOU PAY FOR in the Finished product. Royal Designs Kitchen Countertops truly is a "small business" yet deliver BIG RESULTS. Therefore some of those trappings and touch points you get from larger companies like fancy show rooms, multiple phone calls, huge inventory of product to show off to you, finished kitchens to parade by and touch are great however your bottom line will reflect it. Royal Designs does not have all of those "extra's" per se however they make it up in the final finished design and product. IF YOU NEED ALL OF THESE "EXTRA's" and a good amount of "PROJECT HAND HOLDING" then you may want to search out the national companies or Large companies in and out of Arizona for they will give you for .....a higher price. Now with Royal Designs you may have to do some driving to parts of the valley to look at some stone or at a finished installation (if the customer approves) however selecting the final counter top for your kitchen IS A PROCESS ...it takes some time for you to figure out what YOU WANT. Dan will provide you the information, advise you on some options when he visits your job site, look at your color scheme, photos, ideas etc and ask you the appropriate questions to guide you to the DECISION YOU NEED TO MAKE. Royal Designs will not attempt to hard upsell you on any counter type, ancillary products or services. You will find if you ask open ended questions of Royal Designs they will make suggestions to you and options you may not have considered??? Then YOU need to encapsulate to Dan the scope, size, and type of your project so can give you the Best Quality, Best Value and Best Price he can given your project vision and project details. If you trust the process, trust Royal Designs and Dan your project will turn out as you envisioned. No finished project is perfect!! Please understand that for in any kitchen touchup there will ALWAYS be things you forgot, just discovered unintentionally or just popped up so being patient and flexible with the process will pay you dividends. Lastly Kitchen or other type of counter tops are not done in a week generally so give yourself a project timeline (gant chart?) and work with Dan on this so your expectations match Royal Designs timelines they do have other customers and bigger projects. As to installation Luis is the master craftsman however once again when they do tear out make sure if you are re-using or keeping anything get it removed before they arrive or have them remove it before they start install so that there are no hiccups or mis understandings. Finally, with kitchens, water, sinks, disposals etc they ARE NOT UNIVERSAL therefore mixing and matching plumbing parts/appliances usually do not work well, even at all, therefore having the plumber look ahead of time at your plumbing design before tear out IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I recommend working with Royal Designs Plumber Alex H. who will finish everything up after Luis and his team leave your kitchen. Understanding the scope, timeline, phases and process of your project is critical so that it all comes together exceptionally well! Royal Designs and Dan can deliver BIG TIME Results if you are patient, communicative about your project goal and trust the process & Royal Designs. I highly recommend Royal Designs for your counter top project for they provide GREAT VALUE AND GREAT RESULTS!

What a wonderful experience to work with Dan and his crew. As many of the reviews on this site suggests, and the reason I gave him a call, Dan is professional, responsive and reliable. I wanted to replace my kitchen sink and needed the hole made bigger. They did the work quickly and cleaned up as best they could. Then the plumber came in and finished the work. LOVE my new sink. This is a very belated review as we completed our remodel in January 2020, but now that we're beginning a new project, I had the opportunity to reflect on Dan's work for us and it was unquestionably the best part of our remodeling experience. After we bought our nonrefundable slabs from the "discount tile yard," our remodeler broke the news that they had no one who could cut the stones for us (despite BRINGING us to that exact tile yard to shop). They eventually found a company that was willing to charge us more than we paid for the slabs to cut and install them. We stumbled upon Royal Designs and Dan's bid was significantly less than we were quoted with others. He was prompt, professional, used the stones very well (has a good eye for patterns), and cut/sealed them perfectly. To this day, we could not be happier with his work!

Dan was great to work with, very responsive and professional. He was also helpful in fabrication suggestions, determining the type of sink, and providing a plumber if needed. The job turned out better than expected. My only suggestion would be for Dan to be there at install. There was a gap in language and I think its good to have a discussion before install so everyone is on the same page.

We bought our slabs from The Yard before we had selected an installer. After contacting several of the recommended installers we decided to search outside of the list provided by The Yard. I contacted Daniel and within a couple of hours we had a meeting set up for a measurement. Daniel was prompt, courteous and very professional. We received a bid before he left our house. We purchased slabs with a lot of movement and were very particular about we wanted them to be cut and installed. Daniel catered to every change we threw at him. This was all before we had agreed to hire him to do the job. We had the kitchen, laundry room and guest bath done. Once we accepted his bid he met us at the Yard to discuss the final layout. He spent considerable time with us staring at the slabs to get exactly what we wanted. We were given a two week lead time for fabrication. He was actually done early, but we were unable to go early due to other reno projects. His team showed up on time and started immediately. The installers were very professional and neat. They tore out all the old countertops and took the debris with them. We had four new undermount sinks installed with the countertops. They had to do some onsite fabrication due to some funky angles in the kitchen. The installation is flawless. Their bid was less than one half of some of the bids we received and after looking at the quality of the work performed I cant imagine what I would have gotten for twice the price since Daniel and his crew did flawless work. I would and will recommend Royal Designs to anyone considering stone counter tops.

We recently remodeled our kitchen and contacted Daniel at Royal Design for an estimate to do the fabrication of our granite countertops. He came out and drew up all the plans and gave us a very competive bid to do the work. We purchased our slabs at The Yard, another company I would highly recommend for great prices. Daniel picked up our slab and was ready to install a week later. The job was done very well with a couple of very minor defects. I contacted Daniel and his response was immediate and came out and corrected my minor points to my full satisfaction. Great after the fact customer service and follow up. I would highly recommend Royal Design for their communication, customer service, fair pricing and a great job. 5 stars all the way, thank you, would certainly use again.

After doing my research, we decided to have my granite kitchen countertops fabricated and installed by Royal Designs. Dan provided suggestions to purchase our granite slabs. My husband and I selected our granite slabs and Dan inspected them prior to us purchasing the granite. At the final measurement, Dan was very patient with me as we selected how we wanted the granite to be cut. Dan was present and participated in the install process. His very experienced crew was amazing. After the install, we requested that Dan come back to do a little work on our single seam. Dan set-up an appointment and he and his crew arrived on time. They worked for 1 1/2 hours on the seam and it now looks seamless. I would highly recommend Dan at Royal Designs for all your granite countertops.

I was researching granite countertops and noticed Dan from Royal had received outstanding reviews. I decided to call and mentioned that we just moved into our home at Estrella Mountain Ranch from Florida and needed help immediately. Dan gave us his choices to shop for granite ( contractor's Price) and he would pick-up and install. He met us at our home , confirmed measurements and offered his experience of how the stone should be cut. He also expressed his view on how the stone should lay on the counter. Scheduling and Installation was made easy and the results were above expectations. Thank you Dan for beautiful countertops.

We had a wonderful experience with Royal Designs. We received 4 quotes and all said we needed 4 slabs, but Royal Designs said we needed 3, which saved us almost $1,000! The company is very careful with its cuts to ensure you do not end up with a lot of wasted material and extra expense. Their installation price was also the lowest of the 4 quotes and they had amazing yelp reviews so we went with them! They showed up on time the day of install and the job they did was perfect. There was only one seam and they were meticulous about getting it right. They had to point the seam out to me for me to even see it. Everything from start to finish was great! We are very glad we went with this company.

Let me start saying I HIGHLY recommend Dan & Royal Designs and think you would be foolish to go anywhere else for your countertop needs. I used Dan & Royal Designs for my kitchen countertops after reading their great Yelp reviews. Dan responded very quickly via. Yelp and quoted me a great price which ended up being exactly what I paid. He came out to measure and show me samples a couple days later. I decided to go to Arizona Tile to view a larger sample of the New Carrara quartz which I purchased through Royal Designs--payment was paid directly to AZ Tile with Royal Designs' fabricator discount attached at my order. Dan & his crew came on install day right on time. They tore out my old, uneven laminate countertops and replaced them with beautiful New Carrara quartz. He brought a plumber with him (paid separately) to replace my sink and faucet as well. They were in and out in probably less than 2 hours. I couldn't be happier with the way my countertops look and the service I received from Royal Designs. I have already recommended Royal Designs to 3 of my friends and will continue to do so at every opportunity. Will post pictures when I figure out how.

Just two weeks ago we had Royal Designs replace our countertops. Dan the owner came highly recommended from a friend. He does it a bit differently which saved us about $600/$800. You basically go to the wholesale distributor (there are hundreds of different rock types/looks) pick out the exact slab/s you want in your home. You pay the wholesale price and Dans company will do the installation. He walks you through the steps and it turned out beautifully. You basically cut out the mark ups and the middle man. Dan was our first quote and everyone else we had come out was significantly higher in price. Wish we wouldn't have wasted the time. A friend saw our counters and called Dan the next day. Do yourself a favor and go with Dan. Dan Gherghita Royal Designs 602-885-1418

Dan and his crew at Royal Designs deserve all the 5 star ratings you see on Yelp and now mine. After trying to get things started (a measurement and estimate) for over a week with Lowe's countertop contractors, I became frustrated and started to look for others online. I placed a call to Royal Designs one day at about 4pm and a live person (Dan) answered immediately. Then, Dan came over within 30 minutes and measured! Throughout the entire process Dan was responsive, helpful with advice on how I could save and handled a glitch on installation day with good business smarts. My old countertop was floor tile on a concrete base so removal was difficult and messy but his crew handled it very well. I watched as his crew went from vigorous removal to artistic installation and was totally impressed. The granite countertop is gorgeous and meticulously installed. Don't waste your time with Big Box Store middlemen. Go straight to Royal Designs. You'll be glad you did.

I had a great experience with this company. Daniel was helpful and quick to respond. My kitchen counter tops were by far the easiest part of my remodel. The workers were quick and clean. My counter tops look fantastic.

Friends recommended Daniel of Royal Designs and he lived up to their recommendation's. He was on time, explained the process and gave us a quote for fabrication and installation. We selected our granite slabs and he ask which sections of the slabs we liked best. He informed us it would take two weeks and he was right on schedule. Installation was scheduled and he and his team arrived on time. Completed their work and the counter tops look great. They cleaned up after the job was complete and were very professional. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends.

I got several estimates and Royal Designs was very competitive on price. I especially liked the fact that I wasn't dealing with a middle man. Dan provided helpful advice as I picked out my slabs of marble. Then came out to measure my kitchen. My slabs had a dark stripe on them and together we determined how to use the marble slabs so that the dark stripe wasn't on the main work areas of my counters. I was thrilled that Dan worked with me to get the most cuts out of my stone and we ended up being able to not only get the kitchen, but also the laundry and two bathroom counter tops. He was also able to sell me sinks directly at a discounted price which saved me the hassle of shopping for them and dealing with delivery. The quality of then workmanship was absolutely outstanding. His crew spent an entire day doing the demo and installation and they were respectful and professional. I couldn't be happier with my counters. Outstanding job.

We had 3 estimates and Daniel's was the best by far. Once we agreed on what we wanted, a week later they were installing granite in our kitchen & 3 bathrooms. The had it all done in less than a day. Totally perfect work. Very impressed!

Dan was quick to respond to my request for a quote and quick to come out and measure. He sent a quote by text. I had to request an email with something in writing about what exactly his company would/wouldn't include, which I don't think was standard practice for him but he did comply. After we paid by Zelle he said he had all the measurements he needed, which surprised me because I thought they would need to come out and template. He did call and say he thought he could get the job done with 2 slabs instead of 3 if we added a seam, which was cool and saved us a lot of money. He also had us buy the slabs directly using his contractor's discount, which saved us money too. The installation was pretty sloppy. On the day of the install, the crew that came out unloaded some precut slabs, but then spent the day sawing and resawing to make them fit, leaving gaps and just a generally hacked together look. Our island piece went on a bit askew like they just threw it on there, so there's more and less overhang in places. They did install our undermount sink for us, but didn't mention that our garbage disposal would no longer fit/work with our plumbing because the new sink was lower. And then in general the workers left trash all over our front yard, dinged up our sliding glass door metal bottom thing with the cart as they brought in slabs so we could barely close it, dinged up one of our cabinets, pulled a cabinet side too close so that one of our drawers is difficult to open, etc. I wish we had gone with a more established, bigger company and paid a bit more for better quality and service.

I had placed a request online for a master vanity top. Dan replied and based on my measurements and photos he gave me a quote and instructed me to go to the yard in North Phx to pick out a reminent. He arrived today and stated I would need to pay him half the labor up front before I even had an appointment booked. I said I don't work that way. I'm not giving someone my slab of granite and half the labor costs up front. He stated "I don't work that way and really I didn't want to do this job it's too small". I'm sure there is an issue because I'm a female which is typical for his (assumed) culture and upbringing. If you are a female I don't recommend bothering working w this company or man unless you want to have your money tied up with no idea when your job might be scheduled. Good luck to you Dan my recommendation is to post your requirements up front in regards to your money and your job size.
