R&S came recommended by a slab supplier and gave a great price on the project. They did an amazing job getting the best look out of the slabs in the templating phase. Adriana spent a lot of time to find the optimal design for our layout and artfully combined different sections of material to achieve an almost seamless look. Install was smooth and the fit was perfect. Some months later, one of the seams between two pieces of stone separated due to settling in the building - through no fault of their own. R&S stood by their work and came out free of charge addressed the seam!

After finding our quartzite slabs at IRG, we needed a fabricator. We met with a few and decided on R & S and I'm so thankful we did. We worked with Adriana and she was able to retrieve the slabs from IRG and bring them to their shop. Adriana arranged the dates and times and everything went on schedule. When it comes to templating and fabricating the stone, Horacio is amazing!!! He has a real eye for making all of the lines come together to accentuate the stone's natural beauty. We needed an additional slab for some extra work, in addition to the gorgeous round tabletop Horacio designed for our kitchen! They have a really has a great crew that removed existing countertops/backsplash, in additional to assisting with the install. Everyone on their team has been a pleasure to work with and we could not be happier with the quality of their work! We have recommended R & S to a couple of our friends and they have been super happy with their them as well!!! Thank you R & S!!

This is our second time working with Adriana and R&S Marble & Granite. During our first project, we interviewed 2 other companies before meeting Adriana for a kitchen remodel. At the end of our meeting with Adriana as she walked towards her vehicle, I told my wife "She is hired". We needed someone who could take the challenge of taking us through the journey of selecting stone types, colors, back splash combinations and installation process. Adriana did it effortlessly. With her knowledge, she made us feel at ease and gave us the confidence that our kitchen was get the magic touch we always dreamt about. The results were amazing. R&S delivered a beautiful, clean and timely results. We loved it so much that for our second project (3 bathrooms, 2 fire place, laundry and kitchen) Adriana and R&S Marble was our one and only favorite in our list. I am so glad to have seen all of the 5-star reviews for R & S Marble and Granite. Having worked with them now, I completely understand why. From start to finish, Adriana and the crew were excellent. The whole project, from selecting the counters and tile, to completion, took less than three weeks. Adriana was incredibly responsive to every question and coordinated everything without a hitch. I met Adriana S. as I was reasearching new countertops for a kitchen remodel and island installation. I went to the showroom and checked samples of different materials and she gave me good information on the slab types and sizes that would work for my application. Took some time brefore I was ready to place an order as other work was being done and she was always available to answer my questions along the way. Once I picked the counterop material they were measureing for the template within a few days and a week later they were installing the countertops. The installation crew was very professional and did a great job on the installation. They checked all functions of the cabinets along the way and made adjustments as needed. Everything was done in a timely manner from demo to templating to installation. Super stress free!! Adriana did a great job coordinating my project and keeping me updated every step of the way. She understood exactly what I was looking for and went above and beyond when it came to customer service and communication. Really appreciated her responsiveness. The template technician also offered some suggestions during my appointment which really enhanced the overall project. Because of the shape of my kitchen and the size of quartz slab available, a seam was required. The installers and fabricators did a great job on the seam. It's super tight and you really have to look for it. Overall, I'm happy.

A few months ago we contacted R&S Marble and granite for a master bathroom quartz install for a large 12 foot shower wall install, bench and niches, as well as a vanity with waterfall edge and a custom transition strip between our bedroom and bathroom barn door. Adriana was very quick to respond and we were so happy with how our install went. The fabricator was amazing, and guys installing the quartz shower were very careful with installing such a large job. The seams look great - can hardly see and the edges are very clean and smooth. The quote was also very reasonable and the guys stayed super late to finish this large install which we appreciate! We will for sure be using them in the future for any work we need done in future bathrooms! Thank you R&S, we love our bathroom.

A few months ago we decided we wanted a complete remodel of our kitchen including removing two walls. We hired a local kitchen company to do the whole job but we ended up having a very bad experience with them and ended up having to fire them about 3/4th of the way through the job. I contacted R & S Marble and Granite about a week later to get an estimate to install quartz countertops and tile. Adriana the project manager responded to my email quickly and came out a day later. She gave us a very fair estimate and I was so impressed with her professionalism. I wanted 3cm quartz installed instead of the 2cm with wood underneath that the kitchen company was originally going to use. Our contractor we've used for 20 years lowered the sink to make that possible. We live in Livermore so Adriana advised us to go to all the countertop showrooms in Livermore, Dublin, and Hayward but we found out that most quartz doesn't come in 3cm in California. We finally found one that was ok but then we went to the R & S Marble and Granite showroom and when I looked across the room I saw MSI Calacatta Monaco, the most beautiful sample I had seen anywhere. It was exactly what I was looking for and it actually came in 3cm! A very light, soft marble look with very light thin veining and different soft variations and it actually cost less to buy and install then the 2cm the kitchen company was going to use even though the 2cm was also by MSI. I was thrilled! She immediately contacted the company to check availability and it was installed within 2 weeks. The install went great, and they were in and out in about 2 hours. They treated our house as carefully as if it was their own and the countertops ended up looking amazing. Since our original kitchen company didn't order us enough tile, Adriana immediately contacted Arizona Tile to get us the extra tile so that they could install the tile. The tile installers were complete perfectionists and even stayed late to finish the job in one day instead of two and our kitchen was finally completed! My advise is don't use one kitchen company to do all the work on your new kitchen. You really need specialists to do each aspect of the job - especially the countertops and tile! Adriana was always so great with communication and would email me with every detail I needed to know and immediately answered all our questions. We highly recommend this skilled and trustworthy company.

Once again this company worked their magic. A few years ago they transformed our kitchen into a masterpiece. They did the same this time with our 30 year old bathroom ( see the "Before" & "After" photos!). Just like with our kitchen, I got great design suggestions from their senior estimator, Deborah. For our bathroom, she suggested wisely a quartzite that complements the cultured marble shower walls that were replacing the tan 8" x 8" tiles. Deborah also suggested the color of paint we should use as well as suggesting the matte black paint behind the mirror and toilet as an accent. They have a fabulous fabrication team who do precision work with an extreme attention to detail.

As a first time kitchen renovator / DIYer, the one thing I knew I needed was a professional when it came to the countertops installation. I called R&S and Adriana came out to give me a quote the next day. She was great to work with and answered all my questions and concerns. My main concern was fitting the countertops to the Ikea kitchen cabinets, undermounting the sink, and having the team install a bar passthrough. The team planned my custom build and was able to provide just what I wanted. Horatio and his team of installers worked quickly and my countertops were installed in just a few hours. They were very clean with the build and followed up to see if everything was to my liking. Price point was the best I could find in the Bay Area, and the quality of the build has been solid. I am very happy with the build and would recommend it to anyone, especially for first time kitchen renovators!

As an owner/builder --also a former owner of a stone fabrication shop-- I can't say enough positive words about Horacio, Adriana and the entire team at R&S. Adriana has been incredible, from my initial contact through selecting slabs, my persnickety fabrication requests, and even assisting in procurement of flooring materials from one of her vendors, she's been an invaluable asset in seeing my projects to completion. We worked with R&S on replacing outdated kitchen countertops and they did a great job! Adriana was very helpful in coordinating schedules and answering questions about choice of materials. Horacio and crew did an excellent job removing old granite counters (did it in less than 2 hours without any damage to existing cabinets) and then installing new porcelain slabs (which is not the easiest materials to work with). A couple things that stood out in the whole process and that were very helpful - 1. R&S were very accommodating with our timeline/schedule (we had other remodel work going on so the countertop job had to be scheduled around that, with removal and install weeks apart). 2. They were also accommodating with our design changes throughout the process - we ended up adding backsplash and waterfall, changing the edge and changing the material from quartz to porcelain. 3. Finally, they were able to minimise the waste of material - our kitchen has an odd layout with a lot of angles and larger surfaces, but they were able to fit everything in 2 slabs, which saves us $$$. Before and after looks great now. lol

Couldn't have been any happier with the work we had done by R&S. Adriana took care of us from a project coordination perspective and was always prompt in her replies and got me the information I asked for. The work in my house was always performed very professionally and with respect. After a less than great experience with the company that built our bay windows it was such a pleasure to see the way the R&S folks conducted themselves at my house. Floors were covered during the work and attention to detail and post project clean up was fantastic with the toping on the cake of everyone just simply being pleasant to work with. We're new to Livermore and decided to yelp a few places to help us remodel our kitchen. We ended up going with R&S because they had great customer service and reasonable prices. Adriana was wonderful and helped us pick out a great slab. She even helped link us to a handyman that helped us flatten our countertop and cut out cabinet to install a farmhouse sink. Job was to cut granite countertop to enlarge the opening for a drop-in stovetop (needed it about 3/8" bigger front to back). He came in and assessed the job, then laid down tarp and taped up plastic to create an enclosed space to contain the silica dust given off by cutting. Using a grinder, he cut into the counter through to the underlying plywood. After completing, he confirmed that the stovetop did fit front to back as well as on either side. Cleaned up and left the kitchen as clean as he found it.
