I am changing my 2 stars to 5 stars. I was in error reading my receipt wrong and Ordaz did deduct $600 for the color change due to the new color being less than my original color selection. As far as the line of caulking, my contractor swung by to do something else and re-caulked my shower, so everything is taken care of. I do love my shower ... I love the gymnastic bars for safety, I love the color, I love the shelves & alcove, I love it all. Thank you Ordaz (Brenda) ... and thank you for correcting my error! A 7" line of caulking came out of the shower about 5 months after the install. Secondly, I changed colors of walls within hours of my first choice and was charged $600. for the color change ... why? I could understand if the color was mixed but it was a three day weekend and nothing had been mixed. I love my bathroom and the product is beautiful, just have to be careful to read everything in the contract & know how to make repairs from their installers.

We had an amazing experience with Ordaz! The owner was very helpful and informative. He was quick to send someone out to measure our kitchen and had our coutertops done within a week! Ordaz Marble (Unreliable and Un-Professional) We spent a lot of money with this company and they were really bad news. Dealing with this company and in particular Francisco Ordaz was very difficult to work with in getting quotes, scheduling each templates for our kitchen and bathrooms. Our contractor recommended this company but they were such a nightmare to deal with. For us they didn’t really seem to care about being professional, they were very late on each appointment for the templates and installations. After they installed our kitchen counter top they made such a mess with silicone on our stainless steel sink. It took a month to get it off of the sink. Each installation was sloppy but they didn’t seem to care at all. They was no, accountability when it came to anything. We had a very bad experience with this company.

Having just finished a Huge plumbing repair then a repipe. Ordaz was absolutly a life savor. The ladies inthe showroom went above and beyond, in helping me figure things out and recommended Jose, when the first contracted we hired rip us off and screwed us over. They were knowledgeable and helpful beyond my exspectation. The showroom was bright and beautiful, prices consistant, install was quike and amazing the guys were professional and courteous. The finished shower stalls and base are beautiful and flawless. We will definatly use them again and i cant stop telling people how amazing our exsperience with Ordaz was. Thank you Ordaz

Aug 21,2019. I am giving Ordaz a 5 plus stars. Their showroom had everything I needed from custom handmade marble, granite and more for my bathroom. They had lots of displays for you to see and chose from. They even sell shower doors and cabinets. This makes it so much easier to shop for what you need. The service by Bill was outstanding. He was alone when I arrived as his co-worker was out to lunch. He handled all customers in a timely mater and no one, left upset. Don't let the old reviews discourage you from stopping by. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely be back again. I was sent by K2GC Ken.

There was a wide selection of slabs to choose from which helped us personalize our kitchen. The gentleman who came to our home to measure and create a template was wonderful and professional. We were very happy with the finished product. Thanks for helping us add a little bit of us to our house!

Complete remodel of master bath that was original from 1966. Ordaz folks were fantastic! Rebecca knows her customers and what each project is all about. She helps pick out ideas and shows things in their huge showroom full size exhibits. They worked with me make my marble look the way I wanted it. Superb installation work!! I had several major issues to take care of before choosing what I wanted. The owner, himself, visited our home to answer questions and work with my contractor. He made a point to be available the next day at their showroom to continue helping me make decisions. I have high regard for their customer support, the office knowing what the labor is doing, communication with me, the installation men very polite and happy with their own jobs thus happy doing my installation, and their product. The product is fabulous!

I would like to thank everyone that works for this wonderful company. My experience with Brenda, Maria, Hector, Mario and Francisco could not have been any better. It is a rare occasion to have this kind of customer service, quality of materials and workmanship. Usually there is always some kind of problem that has to be dealt with when having home improvements done. Brenda and Maria handle the showroom, scheduling and billing so professionally it was a pleasure to deal with them. Hector and Mario were also professional, cared about the job, didn't damage anything, cleaned up afterwards to where you couldn't tell they were here. They did an outstanding job!

We had our walls installed today and I am beyond impressed. From start to finish our experience was amazing. Francisco was helpful and gracious, I stopped in store, he walked me through and showed me all my options. When we were ready he stopped by our home at a moments notice and measured to confirm. In two weeks of finalizing they showed up at the time specified and Hector completed our project in a half day. Everything is clean and beautiful. He asked how we wanted the trim and verified shelf spacing onsite. I am elated!

We re-modeled our 2nd bath during this Covid time and could not be happier with not only the finished product but the whole process from beginning to end. The folks at Ordaz (especially Brenda) were right on top of everything. They did what they said they were going to do and when they said they were going to do it. Ordaz remodeled my bathroom this summer, and I am extremely happy with the result as well the process of working with them. Becky was extremely helpful as I went through the selection and order process. Bill and Dave replaced my shower, taking it down to studs, and rebuilding the walls. They also took out my old vanity and replaced it. Hector did a superb job installing the cultured granite shower walls as well as cutting the granite slab I had chosen to fit the cabinet top, incorporating my sink and faucet with precision. The process went smoothly and according to the schedule we had agreed upon. Overall, it was a smooth and very positive experience.

We were at Ordaz looking for bathroom remodel items when we mentioned to Francisco how expensive our contractor was. He was genuinely concerned for us as clients getting the best deal that he hooked us up with a phenomenal contractor. Meanwhile, he was very patient and accommodating in helping us select the right counter tops, shower walls and cabinets. Overall price was reasonable and superior quality. I love the way our bathroom turned out as did my cousin who also will be using Ordaz, Francisco, Brenda and the rest of the staff were Kind and very helpful. We will be going back when it's time to remodel our master bathroom.

We got the bathroom upgrades done by Ordaz in May 2016 and now almost a year later, I feel strongly that I share my experience with anyone considering bathroom upgrades. We were referred by a friend in Concord and I am glad we chose Ordaz. The owner Francisco is a very experienced, friendly and helpful fellow who understood our budget and took time to make several recommendations to choose from. The big difference is that they manufacture their own unique products and can customize to fit your preferences. Another thing we liked was that any work that we added after the initial agreement was also done at a reasonable price unlike may who try to take advantage once you sign up with them. Bill Cizek, an Ordaz Sales Associate is an experienced professional who was especially helpful in answering questions that many of us have during the process.

We visited their show room in Concord and we're extremely impressed with their large selection of products and the fact they designed A large amount of bathrooms using their products so you can see what your bathroom will look like in the things they can do. I called them a few times revising The job trying to find tune it and they're always very polite and lots of ideas. The installers we're on time, extremely courteous and professional. They're very conscientious and keeping everything clean and did an excellent job. I will be calling them again, next bathroom.

We could not be more impressed with Ordaz Marble and their staff. I had a vanity top replaced, on an existing bathroom vanity. Rebecca was very professional and efficient, in communicating with me about viewing quartz slabs, so that I could make a decision. Ordaz had the best selection of any, of the many places, that I looked. After choosing a beautiful piece of quartz, Noah came and measured my vanity top. He was very precise in his measurements. When Noah, and helper, returned to install my vanity top, they were on time, even a little early. Noah did an extremely professional job of removing my old vanity top and installing the new one, including a new sink and faucet. I love my bathroom so much now, I walk in there just to stare at the transformation. I would definitely do business with Ordaz Marble again and I would definitely recommend them to others! I am beyond pleased with their professionalism, the quality of their products, and the installation. They even cleaned my floors, when they left. They did not leave a trace of debris or dust! AMAZING JOB and AMAZING PEOPLE!

After my tenants moved I thought I would have to replace the shower pan and walls. The pan was very discolored and dirty looking. Nothing I used touched the stains. Bill gave me helpful info on how to clean the pan and it was a miracle. The pan is back to original color and slick and clean. Since I saved $2000.00 for not having to replace the shower I had enough to get a new 2 sink vanity and my master bathroom is now a show place. Thank you Ordaz......

First class operation. The service and top quality products are great. I was referred by several clients who have worked with them on multiple occasions. I actually went to their manufacturing site and was very impressed with the quality of the work and the modern facility. The owner (Francisco), who happen to be at the site, took time out to explain the product options and what would best work for our bathrooms. We ultimately went to their very nice showroom in Concord several times as the selection was too good and we couldn't decide. Their staff was so polite, patient and helpful even as we showed up on Sat at closing. We finally decided on a Martex stone product (great price) and are very impressed with the result. Installation went smooth and installers were very professional.

So excited about our master AND kitchen!!! As we all know, it takes a long time to chose the best color but Rebecca was beyond patient...even after the 3rd time we came in! Their showroom is the best around, it had many enclosures and colors to look at. I finally chose Alaska for our master and Torquay for our kitchen. LOVE them! Hector came out to install our master and Cisco our kitchen. Very professional and clean. As I read the comments below, it seems as though those are some difficult customers to deal with so that's a shame for Ordaz...I would hate to do business with those kind of clients! I had a great experience and can't wait to redo our hall bath with Ordaz! Thank you!!!

I visited the Ordaz General Marble showroom in Concord a couple of times when we were looking to remodel our bathroom and considering cultured marble shower, walls and vanity top. Their showroom is very good, and has many example designs of different styles which is very helpful in visualizing and selecting designs for your bathroom. They have samples for many different colors which you can take home. I got a quote for my bathroom which was very competitive. The owner Francisco, who we met on one of the visits was very helpful. We ended up putting tile in our bathroom because of aesthetic preference, so we did not buy from Ordaz. However if you are planning to use cultured marble products in your home, I highly recommend Ordaz Marble and Granite. I most probably would have purchased from them had we settled on cultured marble.

My contractor recommended Ordaz with good reason. Unbeatable quality, prices and personal service. You can tell Carlos is passionate about his work and products they manufacture personally in their shop. I was a little leery of marble, but when Carlos explained that the cultured onyx would not fade, needed little cleaning, and was as strong as granite, I was sold. Even my hubby who was not fond of the idea loves the way it turned out. Some friends actually thought it was real granite slabs. Carlos and his crew were meticulous, fast, and flexible. He knew we were in a hurry for this unplanned shower remodel and was willing to install on a Sunday morning, but instead squeezed us in on the Saturday at 5:00 so his guys could have Sunday off. Despite the late hour, the install was perfect! There is a reason this family owned business has been around for more than 25 years. Wish all businesses were this good! The only negative thing I can say is I wish the showroom were still in Pleasanton. Will definitely call them again when another bathroom is in need and recommend to friends. Thanks Carlos!

Great Experience with Professionals. When remodeling our one small bathroom, we were looking for easy upkeep along with something stylish and good looking. We initially considered tile and stone, but the upkeep, grout cleaning, etc. wasn't ideal. We had cultured stone about 20 years ago and really didn't want to go back to the 90's look. However, we checked out several cultured stone suppliers in the Bay Area and still weren't impressed with the styles. Then we went to Ordaz Cultured Marble & Onyx in Concord. Right off the bat we were impressed with the large showroom and unique cultured stone they produce... didn't see anything else other places that compared with the natural looking products of Ordaz. Rebecca and other staff were knowledgeable, helpful and personable; great first impression. Owner came to our house and measured; installation was done in two steps and the finished product is outstanding. Best shower EVER! They worked with our contractor to assure the shower down-time was minimal and that was a real plus. I know tile and stone is the going thing right now, but really, for ease of care and stlye, take a look at what Ordaz has to offer. Quick squeegee, daily shower spray and you're done!

Ordaz marble did the walls in my master bathroom. From start to finish our experience with this company was great! We first picked out the marble at the showroom with Rebecca. She was very friendly and helpful. Then the owner Francisco came to the house to take all the measurements. When installation day came the guys name was Dave. He got there at 10:30 in the morning and didn't leave until after 6. He wanted to make sure that everything was perfect. And it was. Then he came back the next day and did all the caulking. The bathroom is beautiful. The price was the best and the work was great. With all the horror stories about contractors this company has definitely got it all together. Thanks ordaz marble.

First off, Rebecca or "Becky" that runs the concord showroom is awesome. We have been working with her exclusively for over 10 years and she has helped us with at least 6 bathrooms. Even the owner is still actively involved and comes out to do bids and check up on the jobs. I trust my contractor (GF Watson Construction and Painting) more than anyone else, and he too has been using Ordaz for a long time. My brother used them long ago for a shower stall. He was pleased. He & I own a house & he used them for that shower stall. We were both pleased. I just bought a new house that has a good shower. He makes a great soap dish which I wanted. I had to special order it. It is expensive but I like it & want it. I would have given them 5 stars but there were no clear instructions of how we are to mount the dish. He mounted the other 2 we bought. I will mount this one. He told his daughter to tell me but I didn't understand. Neither did she. He left me a phone message & it wasn't clear. I made a return trip to his shop. He showed us how to mount it & then also taught his daughter. Maybe he doesn't get many orders for just the soap dish so typed instructions didn't occur to him. The dish is very heavy. He included a small additional piece I was not expecting to help mount it. I couldn't make sense of the extra piece. Everything is good now. I recommend them. That soap dish makes everything perfect. If his competition doesn't offer a similar dish, then by all means buy from him. He is busy but I didn't have have the rude experience a few people who gave him 1 star had.

As everyone knows, home improvement projects don't always go smoothly. We want to compliment Ordaz Marble for going the extra mile to locate the out-of-production cultured granite for our bathroom countertop. Thank you, Bill! And, when a fabrication error occurred, they stuck with us and came up with a satisfactory solution by adding an upgraded backsplash at no cost to us. Thank you, Francisco!

This was our first experience with picking a new shower. Ordaz had been recommended to us so we visited their showroom and were very impressed. We then chose a shower style and ordered it. When it was time to start installing the shower (the pan was already in) they found that they had cut the first piece too short and had to come back a week later to reinstall the shower. This slowed down the whole bathroom construction project. When they did install the shower there was one critical seam - right where the door is - that is very visible. I had them come out and 'fix' it and all the fellow did was was put some more silicone on and try to smooth it down. It doesn't look much better than when it was originally installed. The man said it was because the sheet rock wasn't even. Baloney - it was a single sheet of brand new sheet rock for a shower. I would love to add photos to show you but don't think it's possible.

We were excited to be remodeling our master bath. We spent many hours going over what material to use, what we wanted to achieve and had the company come out to measure. After all was said and done, we had at least 1/4 cup of water that would be puddled OUTSIDE the shower door after each shower. We called the shower door people, Action Glass, who said the door was suppose to be completely sealed so he came out and said the shower pan was not properly installed so that the water drained into shower not outward toward floor. So Mr Ordaz came out and said ALL frameless doors have a bottom piece to keep water from seeping out on floor. "If we looked at all his frameless doors at the showroom, we would see he had them on all those doors. It is standard." Guess what--we went right down to showroom that same day and not one door had a bottom trim piece! Our glass guy was quite rude--don't use ACTION GLASS!!- and said he had done the best he could. We called Mr Ordaz back and he recommended Diablo Glass. We had to pay more money and get a bottom strip but now our floor is dry after showering. Diablo Glass employee said that probably the shower pan was not installed correctly but when a glass company comes in to do the final measurements, they are suppose to check that pan leans inward a bit. If not, they can change pitch and lean of doors to compensate and the first glass company was probably hesitant to accept their blame in all this. Bottom line is Mr Ordaz (although helpful in getting problem resolved) should make sure his employees check the pitch of the product. Also, don't tell us a lie about bottom shower door strips...makes us mistrust you in future.

They delayed our remodel project by 3 weeks by refusing to finish the tubs because it was raining. The tubs had already been delivered but they kept saying if they got wet the glue wouldn't stick properly. I think they were just over booked and didn't want to admit it. I highly recommend a performance clause if you use them. I won't use them again though.

I actually used this company once before, and went back to get some more work done, but i was given the run around. I dealt with Francisco Ordaz on my first call and he sent out an estimator, we set an appointment to have some the additional work done an i never heard back from him for two weeks. When i called back i was told that Mr. Francisco Ordaz is no longer involved with the day to day business. They just blew me off and were not interested in my business. I will never recommend this place. I guess business is so good that they can turn customers away. There are too many other local Granite services that respect customers time and appreciate your business. I hope this message reaches you Francisco...

The owner is an a$$. He told us that he charges based on whether he liked us or not. We immediately left. Hey Francisco - being an a$$ had nothing to do with the store being busy. It had to do with how you spoke to my husband and I. Telling customers you charge based on liking them or not is unprofessional.

The Ordaz brothers are both very unprofessional. We went to Francisco Ordaz when his brother Juan turned out to be utterly unreliable. His office gave us an estimate for our 2 bathrooms. Then Francisco came to measure everything, and we received a new estimate with a substantial price increase, though nothing had changed. I requested a call from Francisco to explain, but he refused to call me and his office staff told me he will not explain his price increase to me. As we were working with a contractor who was willing to eat the price difference, we let Ordaz Marble make the shower and vanity tops. One bathroom turned out OK, though the vanity measurement was incorrect, and the installation is sloppy and less than agreed to in the order. My contractor will have to clean it up. The onyx material for the second bathroom had no resemblance to the color we had chosen. Francisco offered to re-do the job, but not for the agreed upon amount, but he now wanted 1.5 times his price. This was even too much for my contractor, and we are now working with another marble shop. Stay away from the Ordaz brothers, apparently, they are cut from the same cloth.

So I haven't even done business with them yet and they're already cheering me off. I call them and they tell me that they close at noon for lunch. I tell them I might just make it in by noon. I arrive well before noon and they have already locked their doors. If they don't want any business right before noon they should close at 1130 and let everyone know. Planned rudeness is never a good business model, but Ordaz doesn't seem to mind

I hope in writing this review, if I only save one consumer the aggravation that I have gone through it will be worth it. I hired a wonderful contractor. I had a dream of a new master bath and was given an estimated time to complete 3-4 weeks. My project nearing the end, the space freshly painted the custom vanity in place it was now time to order the material to be used for the vanity top & tub surround. Both items need to be in place before the tile work can begin. The designer vanity I was trying to reproduce had quartz (Cambria, great look but expensive, you can find quartz for less) counter top with a 4" apron front. I met with a couple suppliers and went with a local business (NOTE: they have one in Antioch & Concord) that from the outside looked like a professional operation. Wow was I wrong. They require 50% down with a promise to deliver & install in 7days. Deposit paid on 5/6, final installation completed on 6/12. In the course of four weeks my contractor and I made trip after trip to there location only to find the items I ordered was wrong. They turned my 3-4 week project into approx. 3-months. I do not recommend this business. If you choose to ignore my advice a word of WARNING.....Check your piece before delivery. Build into your contract a default section. If they do not deliver to ordered specification within a reasonable agreed upon time you have the right to cancel the contact with a full refund. Today's date 7/1 , still not done. My highly recommend tile guy got busy and I'm now his side job.. PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
