Maxie’s Interior & Exterior

I wish I could give a better review but unfortunately I can’t. This is how my bath tub was left on a brand new home that they laid the tile for. I don’t know if this is their responsibility or the builders but nevertheless it should not have ever been presented to me this way!! Notice how only it’s partially grouted. The rest of the bathtub is the same. I do not understand their reasoning for this at all. Update: I am very pleased with how the situation is being handled. The very next day the owner, Maxie went through the trouble to get my phone number and called me. She is doing everything she can to fix the issue that was at hand. She had no idea she had a dissatisfied customer and I am partly to blame for that and my builder is to blame as well. But I really appreciate Maxie coming through to make things right.

They always put the customer first from start to finish. They recommend the best products for your home and budget. Installation was very professional and if you are not satisfied they will come back to fix whatever issues you may have. Vanita is the most knowledgeable and courteous associate I have ever worked with. I have sent all of my friends and family to her. With over 20 years of experience, she knows what she is doing and won’t steer you wrong.

Every time I go there they make me feel like I'm family. They're the company I prefer to get our material from.if there is something wrong with the order, they have no problem fixing it immediately.

After meeting with several flooring contractors and getting several quotes on LVP, carpet and ceramic tile, I decided on Custom Interior and Exterior based on price, selection of flooring and they just overall seemed more helpful and interested in picking the right colors and right flooring within my budget. They did the flooring for the entire house and did an amazing job and were quick...in and out in about 2 days for a 1500 sq ft job. They left everything spotless clean and even vacuumed the carpet they laid in the bedrooms. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and would (will) use them again! Maxie was a huge help with the selection process!

Very disappointing! I don't recommend at all. They did some work on my neighbor's home and then came over to give me an estimate. After speaking with my neighbor who was not satisfied I definitely will not use them. From what I understand, they don't do any of the work themselves. The gentleman that came over last week was rude, arrogant, and very pushy.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE INVOLVING A CONTRACTOR IN MY LIFE! Used this company one time to install flooring in my home and a few smaller tasks. They did NOT do any of the work themselves. They sent a sub contractor to do the tear out, another one to do the installation, and another CONTRACTOR to do the rest. Four days late on project! Absolutely filthy mess left behind! Disrespectful owner / manager!!! I was so distressed that I even had to use another contractor to finish the project. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!

Maxie’s is a really sweet and nice person. She gives excellent service and did a fantastic job with the interior on my home. I absolutely love my cabinets!!! Kudos to Maxie’s!!!

The worst experience ever. These people are not contractors. They have no license according to the La. State Licensing Board for Contractors. The tile and granite jobs were sub-contracted out. In one conversation the owner claimed to be just a flooring installer and a fully licensed contractor. The house was left a complete mess! Sales person also misrepresented them as a contract company. They are terrible! STAY AWAY!!!
