At first I thought the line disconnected but i called back three times after and every time they would pick up and hang up. Marble Expo does not stand behind their work. We paid $7,000 for a new granite counter for our kitchen and the installation is not level. It's a 1/4" lower in the front than the back it's the same for the whole eight feet. Just a small amount of water runs off our beautiful counter onto the floor. Marble Expo says that they won't correct the problem. Their contention is that our kitchen cabinets weren't level in the first place, and they just follow the cabinets. That makes no sense. They installed new 3/4 " plywood to the top of our cabinets before putting on the granite. A competent installer would make sure that it was all done level. It will be a fairly expensive repair and I will suing in Small Claims Court.

I have gone to a few stone yards trying to find a counter that will be best for my needs. Juan and George were extremely helpful and emailed me with a few suggestions they didn't have in stock. Marble Expo didn't have in stock the quartz I wanted, they ordered and were ready to install ahead of schedule. The fabrication and installation is impeccable. Both my electrician and kitchen cabinet makers were impressed by thprecision I couldn't get away without having a seam, due to the length of my counter. The seam is as minimal as can be imagined. Will definitely be recommending George, Juan and Rodolfo and team to everyone.

George sent two guys out to do some repairs... R&R some shower marble. George's replacement/repair matched the original marble very well. The guys he sent out kept everything clean and did nice, neat work. I also had George's team re-grout (re-silicone?) areas around sinks and counters that looked like they were getting old and not working anymore keeping water out. This was my first time working with George and Marble Expo... he tells me that it's about $800 for the day of re-sealing those areas. I can tell you that I was dubious. (It's like when the car wash tries to sell you the extra wax/sealant protection... I know I'm paying more but is maybe unnecessary and my car doesn't look any different.) In this case, it would have been easy to charge me $800, squirt on some silicon seal and be done in half a day. But, as it turns out, I feel I very much got my money worth... they were really getting into all the difficult, hard-to-reach areas, completely removing the old material and then doing a clean job re-grouting/siliconing. This was two skilled men doing a good, detailed job and not two guys that are just going through the motions and don't remove the old material in a thorough/clean way and then just squish some silicone in an uneven bead. I think they were there for a day and a half and, like I said, doing labor-intensive, detailed work. In short, I think they did a great job of both the marble repair and making sure my floors, sinks and showers were watertight.

We remodeled two bathroom vanities in our house last month and couldn't be happier with the quartz fabricated and installed by Marble expo. They also demo'ed our existing tile counter tops, which was a huge help. We chose the prefabricated calacatta California quartz counter tops. It has grey veining with an outline of gold so it's not too gold nor grey. It doesn't stain or even leave water marks. They finished the project in two days. They didn't ruin our existing cabinets either (which we had repainted ourselves). They were reliable and professional. Would definitely recommend!

I'm in the process of remodeling a kitchen. The house is a rental, so I didn't need the highest quality finishes, but I at least wanted something that looked halfway decent. That being said, I was originally gonna go with the lowest priced granite from Home Depot until they quoted me 10-12 weeks for installation. Well that was the end of that. I just happened to stumble upon Marble Expo as I was driving along Pacific Coast Highway. I walked in and spoke to Dimitris. He showed me an assortment of very nice Quartz countertops, far better than anything Home Depot had to offer. And the price was actually $300 less than what Home Depot quoted me for their lowest line granite countertops. On top of that, Dimitris quoted one week for installation. I highly doubted it could be done that quickly and the truth is, I would have still been happy with 2-3 weeks. His installers came out to measure a couple of days later and to my surprise and delight, the countertops were installed exactly one week later, as quoted. They look great! The installation was flawless and done in a very professional manner. Dimitris runs the business like a well oiled engine. I had a great experience with Marble Expo and I highly recommend them.

We looked at 5 other stores before going to Marble Expo. We were very pleased to work with Dimitris to find quartz countertops for our kitchen. We had a specific idea of what we wanted and how much we could afford. Dimitris listened patiently and showed us examples within our range. We were happy with what we chose although it was not what we were originally looking for. He also was extremely accommodating with scheduling measuring for our project. When my husband went to put down the deposit we were surprised because Dimitris found the "perfect" quartz that we had pictured in our minds at the same price! We had to change the date for measuring 3 times,but Dimitris was very patient and always returned our calls. Once measured, our counters were delivered and installed the next day. His crew was so professional and accommodating. They made sure everything went in perfectly. All in all, they were very easy to deal with, one of the few places that cut slabs on site, and his price was the best by far!!! I definitely recommend them!

Marble Expo did a minor kitchen counter granite repair job for me. Dimitri the project manager was great to work with, he was very responsive to my inquiries and even called me after hours and on Sunday to verify the scheduling. Even though this was a small job he never acted like he did not want to be bothered with me like so many other granite installers that I tried to hire. Fidel the technician who came out to do the work was very competent, had a great attitude, and made extra efforts to satisfy me. The price was fair, good quality work, and easy to deal with. I was 100% satisfied with Marble Expo and highly recommend. Will definitely use again.

I first went to Home Depot to select granite for a kitchen counter, spent an hour there, and was confused upon leaving. But then liked the slab outside the store on display for a sale promotion, except that slab was a lot more expensive than the price shown. I picked the advertised promotion granite from a 3 X 3" piece, one of five choices at the lowest price. I saw something very similar in a large section a few days later. I wasn't happy with my choice as it was very dull, too uniform, and had no life to it. I then went to Marble Expo and worked with Betty, who helped me find the right slab in the colors I wanted. She went the extra mile to give me several choices, including one slab that was in the colors I asked for, and best of all, it was on sale! Once that was decided, her crew showed up and demolished the white counter tile in the kitchen. Osvaldo and Fidel worked very well together, putting up plastic sheeting to keep the dust from going through the house. They cleaned up after themselves as well. They professionally measured to cut the slab and I'm just amazed how they fitted the granite around a recessed window sill. They also managed to give me a number of extra inches of overhang beyond where the white tile had been making the counter top even bigger. I chose the beveled edges which turned out fantastic. I was allowed to look at the granite in person and pick out the section I wanted for the biggest piece. It turned out fabulous. They were fast and efficient, removing the tile and applying new plywood, cutting the granite, and then installing the pieces over three days. Betty held my hand through the entire learning process. And, I can't believe she saved me money making this project a better price than Home Depot's. For me to get the colors I wanted, Home Depot wanted $20 - 30 more per square foot than the original promotion selection of $39.99/sq ft.(slab cost, removal of old tile, and granite installation). I ended up with a much higher qualify granite slab for less money. It's beautiful. I will use them again. Mary Mendez

Our experience with Marble Expo. Several years ago we purchased a couple of marble slabs and had them fabricate a large countertop for our kitchen peninsula. The work was done by a great guy named Fidel. The bullnose was and is still a work of art. Last month we finished having all of the cabinets remade and installed a new pantry and an adjacent counter. We were able to find a piece of remnant marble from the original piece (amazing) that matched the countertop. I specifically asked that Fidel do the fabrication. Fidel and his son Christian matched the existing counter and finished our backsplash in copper tiles that we supplied. The result is incredible. You know the drill, shop all over the place and come out more confused than when you started. We liked the showroom here. There was a good selection and a no pressure atmosphere. Betty, helped us sort through the mumbo-jumbo till we found what we really wanted. Once we gave the go ahead, they don't mess around. They did the custom fabrication and installation in just over a week. And fast doesn't mean sloppy, they did a professional installation, and were very careful around our new cabinets. Price-wise they were very reasonable, more than a thousand dollars less than even the local hardware store giant. Looks GREAT!! We love it.

I know the owner and his family has been in this business his whole life. They are hands on with every single step of the process. From the quarry that the limestone comes from, import/export, installation, cleanup and follow up. George knows his stuff but being Greek he may come of a little straightforward. Just sayin' :)

I was very certain about the quartz that I wanted for my counter top and was rushing to meet the a deadline with my general contractor and the tiler, who was to install the kitchen back splash only after the counter top had been installed. All sources had told me that my quartz or anything remotely similar to it was at least 3 weeks out. A friend told me that there were granite/quartz places near her home in Lomita.....so I "gave it a shot!" "Marble Expo" was the first and last place I stopped. I was immediately greeted and assisted to review their quartz while they made to calls to their sources on the quartz sample that I had my heart set-on (and I knew would compliment all my other selects for my remodel). George, the owner, within minutes found a source for the quartz. I bought a whole slab at an amazing price. They went out to measure two days later and performed the install two days after that; 5 days total. Not only was the process of sourcing, measuring and install worry-free, the results were professional and gorgeous. George followed-up with me throughout the process. He was warm, welcoming and professional. We will work together, again, to use the remaining amount of my quartz slab as a counter top for my kitchen island. I highly recommend "Marble Expo" and the owner, George. I would, without a doubt, hire them, again, and recommend them to friends. Never rule out destinations, such as Lomita. Leases are lower than Santa Monica or Manhattan Beach and they are able to give better prices. Parking is conveniently located behind the store. Yes. I did see granite and quartz slabs carefully displayed in the clarity of daylight. That is a place if you are looking at the true color and its nuances. Additionally, it is not harmful to the "stones," after all they are all derived from nature/outdoors.

I recently had my home remodeled. Marble Expo did an amazing job! I was so impressed with their selection of imported stones. I have been looking for marble specifically from Greece and they have an awesome selection to choose from. George was so knowledgable and patient with me as he helped me find exactly what I had in mind. I fell in love with this Greek key mosaic which they custom made into the colors I wanted. When my dad needed someone to install new marble flooring and granite counter tops at church, he went to marble expo. These guys did a spectacular job.. Their craftsmanship is superb. They completed the Job on time with no delays, and did a beautiful job, so when I wanted to remodel some rooms in my home, dad recommended them. I'm so pleased with their work. From the time I walked in to their store they were so helpful. George, one of the owners, spent a lot of time with me helping to decide the perfect stone for me. Their selection is beautiful. They have imports from Greece, turkey, Italy.. Really nice stuff.. Love their attitudes and helpfulness over there.. So pleased with the outcome.. I'd recommend them to anyone. My house looks gorgeous.

They service was excellent. My wife and I had gone to at least 5 other granite companies and 2 of the largest ones in Anaheim. We found the color we wanted at Marble Expo and Stavo who works there answered all our questions and showed us many samples of granite. We went back at least 4 times before buying and he was very patient with us each time. After we bought the granite we realized we were short by 5 square feet and Stavo only charged a small amount of money which was totally reasonable.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled and my wife and I wanted a nice granite counter and backsplash done. We shopped around looking for something in our budget. We went to Marble Expo and spoke with Carlos. He was a big help and took the time to show us what stock they had and talked with us about backsplash material that would look good with the granite we liked. We went with them for our kitchen stone work, and we are not disappointed!! They guy that came out and did the work on our backsplash did an awesome job and the counter looks amazing!! The price was very reasonable and much lower compared to other places we went to. Needless to say my wife and I are very happy with the work that was done and I would use them again.

On 4/30/22, We purchased 2 Michelangelo Quartzite Slabs from Marble Expo - Dimitri. We found the 2 slabs at Rio Stones. Dimitri said he can get the slabs, and hold them for my contractor. We were not ready for the slabs, as we just started the kitchen remodel. On 6/09/22, Contactor and Dimitri arranged for the pick up of the slabs. The Contractor told me they received the wrong slabs. I went to Marble Expo, and the son George told me that on 4/29/22 the slabs were sold to Bellagio. Dimitri didn't check the stock. Dimitri was out of the country. George kept saying I am sorry and I want you happy. George will take me to his warehouse and he said, he doesn't want to make money, he just wants me happy. I found Blue Louise quartzite slab from another warehouse and George wouldn't help with the purchase. George's final statement was to make an appointment for a refund. George and Dimitri would not answer letters and phone calls from my lawyer. Be ware...

Wow! I hope the guy I felt with wasn't the owner since he was such a rude PRICK. Sitting in his office smoking and smelling up the whole place while I am in there with a young child. The Dick told me to wait for his soccer game on TV to finish before he would help me. Can't believe 3 years ago I spent 2k there. Today I was going to buy more stones and give them my business again but not after dealing with a rude ass guy like that. Hope they go out of business!

This place is awful and the service,or lack of, is very rude. When simply asking an innocuous question, you are met with extreme sarcasm. It's as if they don't want your business. The store struggles due to the location. Not so much the street it's located but the parking is logistically not ideal. There are supplies stored right on the parking lot making it very easy to run into. I would not recommend this place as the service appeared short handed and the reception very cold. Plus, we were quoted and then told they were sold out. (?)
