My wife Betsy wrote a review of Madison Granite and Quartz posted a short while ago. I totally agree with her comments, but I'd like to add my own observations. Our remodeling project was a series of steps that needed to be scheduled and executed in the right order (as for any such project). I'm sure it was a small project for Steffen but it seemed to be a big project for us. Betsy and I are both retired now and are clearly less adaptable to change than we used to be. Steffen made this all easy-peasy. Kudos to him and MGQ!

We felt very fortunate that a neighbor recommended MGQ. Steffen was a pleasure to work with. He listened to what we wanted and made recommendations as to the pieces of quartz he thought we would like. He also made a recommendation as to the sink we should get when asked. The two men who installed our countertops were friendly and meticulous. They even made a recommendation to Steffen regarding the supports for our breakfast bar that saved us $240. As they worked they were careful to clean up. After they finished, Steffen called to make sure we were satisfied with the installation and with the product. We had gotten two quotes before finding MGQ. The first quote, from the company that works with Costco, was surprisingly almost 30% higher than MGQ. The second quote, from Home Depot, was a sale price and was similar to MGQ. However, their reviews made it seem as if the quality and care of installation could be hit and miss. We feel like we got the best of all worlds working with Steffen. We got a piece of quartz we liked, a price we liked, and installers who cared about what they were doing. And all of this was overseen by a person (Steffen) who is personable, caring, and committed to making his customers happy. Thank you.

Replaced all three of our restrooms countertops and the workmanship is fantastic. Great communication, reasonable pricing, and professional through and through. Steffen and his team were a pleasure to work with. Cheers!

Steffen Pontoppidan did an amazing job guiding us through replacement of our Corian countertops, our Corian sink and our cook top which had all been installed in 2005. He was very attentive in every aspect of the upgrades. He provided expertise by submitting a reasonable bid and oversaw our review of quartz patterns at his warehouse. (His recommendation for an under counter sink was echoed by our interior decorator.) Steffen went with us to pick out a new cook top and took that opportunity to obtain specs of the appliance to ensure accuracy of his cut. A former client of his spotted him at the store and rushed to greet him, expressing her complete satisfaction with his work. Steffen was on time and respectful at all appointments. Our new quartz countertops included three separate slabs, all cut and fit to perfection! The installers were knowledgeable and efficient. MGQ is top notch and 5 stars are not enough to express the quality of this organization.

Steffen Pontoppidan, the owner, was always readily available to answer questions re: my kitchen countertop. He followed through immediately to order the granite that he suggested and we agreed upon. I was invited to personally view the granite slab in his workshop to approve after the order/arrival. He and his assistants arrived to complete the job when arranged after letting me know a week in advance. This allowed ample time to schedule a plumber ahead of their expected time. He and the team accommodated with all aspects and are very conscientious to assure my complete satisfaction with their thorough workmanship. The whole project took 1 month from my first meeting at his shop to the countertop installation in my home. The cost was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Madison Granite and Quartz.
