The countertop business, over the course of its existence, evolved into a well-known manufacturer with a lengthy clientele that includes retail, household, and commercial establishments located all across the country. Their goal is to deliver countertop service that is not only courteous and knowledgeable, but also prompt and surpasses your expectations. The company has over 130 workers who have received superior training. Granite and marble countertops are made at a facility that is 100,000 square feet in size. You can see samples at a spacious showroom as well as a unique slab yard.

We had a great experience with Konkus. The team of Brooke, Brian, Brian, David and Aaron worked together like a well oiled machine through the entire process which includes measurement, selection, layout, and installation with plenty of involvement on our side to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Follow-up, attention to detail, and reliability are three things I admire in a business, and Konkus was far superior to our other options.

This process was great from start to finish. Zach helped us find just what we needed given we had done things backward and already purchased tile for the backsplash. Being able to see the layout for where the veins would be before cutting was nice and the tear out of the old counters and installation of the new ones was easy. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been working on a bathroom renovation and needed some small granite pieces to finish the project. Konkus was the third and final granite place I visited. Within 20 minutes, I was met by Zach, walked through the warehouse, and selected a piece that was perfect for our project, all because Zach listened to what I wanted. I didn't have to pick from remnants, and Konkus had fair pricing. Within 5 days I was able to pick up my pieces. In fact, I met at the front counter by Zach, and he personally help load my pieces into my car. I HIGHLY recommend Konkus for any large or small project.

I could not recommend Konkus more!!! From the front desk, to the sales team (we worked with Lane), to the layout (Mike), to the installers (Pete and Dustin), they are all WONDERFUL!!!! I’m extremely particular and this company absolutely exceeded my expectations. They are all so kind and helpful! I changed my mind in what I wanted several times and Lane was so helpful and kept adjusting our quote. The minimal seams there are in our counters, you can’t even see because the installers Pete and Dustin did such an amazing job!!! And Mike lined up the waterfall edge PERFECTLY!! I’ve worked with several contractors and this entire team is by far the best!!!! 100% worth the money!!

If you need natural stone countertops then look no further! Great staff, professional, and friendly. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Gary was my sales associate and he did a great job helping me out with the whole process. They did a great job installing, very professional. It snowed the night before and they shoveled part of our driveway and salted. They kept the house very clean. Highly recommend them for your next counter top job.

We just had our kitchen and master bathroom transformed by Konkus. We absolutely love the Dolomite and Granite that we hand selected from the Konkus showroom. Zach was a pleasure to work with and made the entire process so easy! Once we made the decision on materials, it wasn’t long before someone came out to our home to take the final measurements. We headed back to the showroom to finalize the layout/template and just a week later the installation was complete! Perfect experience 12 years ago, and perfect experience with updating new home now. Pete took great care removing old granite kitchen countertops and installing our pretty quartzite counters and Blanco sink. Fabricators were great-we were able to view the layout on the slabs prior to them being fabricated. Communication from beginning to end was top notch, and all appointments were on time. We had Konkus fabricate and install our new granite kitchen countertops. We made an appointment and met a sales professional, Christian Hipkiss, who worked with us and helped us select the perfect slab of granite to match our cabinets and flooring. Konkus has a huge selection and price range of stone slabs to pick from. After we selected the slab we wanted Konkus sent a person to our home to measure the countertop area. I'm sorry I do not remember this gentleman's name but he was very good, professional, and arrived right on time. His measurements were sent for drawings and a layout over the slab of granite we had selected was created and sent to us for approval. Once we approved the layout/design our granite was placed into fabrication were they were made ready to install. The appointment was made and the installation crew came out and installed the granite tops. These guys were meticulous making sure everything was exactly level and expertly installed. They were professional and cleaned up everything when they were finished. We are thrilled with our new granite tops and the new stainless steel kitchen sink we also purchased at Konkus. The entire process from the point of sale with Christian through fabrication and installation was flawless. And the process was kept moving along until finished at a good pace. We could not be happier and highly recommend Konkus Marble and Granite to all our Family and friends and anyone looking for reasonably, competitively price stone countertops!!

I can't speak highly enough about Konkus Marble and Granite. We have installed a lot of marble and granite in the past... 3 full slabs of Siena Bordeaux granite in a large kitchen remodel; three slabs of Australian Pearl marble in large master bath remodel... both of these were in 2012-13. These were not using Konkus but another supplier and installer. In the present remodel of 2nd floor bathroom and 1st floor hallway half bath we purchased and had install by Konkus. Brazilian Hawaii granite and Rem 40 Kousani granite. The total requirements were small and Konkus charged at remnant discount price. Konkus is the best, most professional, easiest to work with of all. I highly recommned. Ask for Saundra.

Konkus is the king of granite and marble. In fact, the whole mountain. EVERYONE who works there has a passion for their company's success! Part of their mission is to listen, answer questions, advise, understand your project, all the while treating you like one of their family. Their selection of stone is amazing and shown by their knowledgable guide through their indoor show and fabrication room. We were invited to see our granite slab with a clear plastic overlay of our cooking top and sink. They helped us maximum the natural beautiful of the stone. We have had (another) excellent experience at Konkus. Sales person, Steve Johnson, was extremely helpful with choosing the right product as well as working through our design details (that's code for thinking of issues we hadn't considered!) Each person we encountered was friendly and knowledgeable. It's a very professional and well run business. Our experience with Konkus was exceptional from start to finish! We worked with Felicitee and she was very helpful throughout the entire process. We were remodeling our entire house and needed countertops for the kitchen and bathrooms. I appreciated her patience with us as we became quickly overwhelmed upon entering the warehouse - we didn't know what to expect but that many options far exceeded anything we could've imagined. After getting the quote from Konkus, which honestly was lower than we anticipated, we still went to a few more places to do some benchmarking before we decided, as we had no idea if that was reasonable or not. While we could've maybe gotten better prices, no where else came close to matching Konkus when it came to the customer service and experience. We picked an American Soapstone granite for our island, a charcoal leathered granite for the kitchen perimeter, and a mirage granite for the bathroom. The measurement, template and install experience were all top notch as well. It was evident that they truly care for their customers and want to make sure everything works out the way its supposed to. Highly recommend Konkus!

When we decided to remodel our kitchen, we thought about price and quality. Initially, our contractor directed is to another stone company where he had an account. My first meeting with a representative from this other stone company was really disappointing as he had no slabs to show me and seemed to have a limited amount of small samples to select from. The only reason I went to Konkus was to select a bathroom countertop from them through the company, Simple Bath. In meeting with Saundra, the representative from Konkus, I was amazed at the presentation she gave as she took me back to select from multiple slabs both full and remnants. After seeing their selection, I called my contractor and requested to use Konkus for my Quartz provider for my kitchen. Changing granite companies was $700 more but well worth the excellence they provided throughout the process. They installed my kitchen countertops and two additional bathroom countertops with professionalism from start to finish. Would strongly recommend this company! Update: 6 months after the install, a handyman accidentally chipped my countertop. I called Konkus to see if they repaired chips in Quartz and thank goodness they did. They sent out a representative yesterday who did such a good job that you cannot tell where the 1/2 inch chip was. This company rocks!

DON"T USE THEIR PLUMBER. The Konkus people were exceptional. The salesperson knew stone and made a number of helpful suggestions. When the installation crew was delayed on an earlier job, the scheduler sent an advance team to tear out the old counter to save time for the installation crew. Even so, the installation crew stayed late into the evening to finish the job. All were polite, engaging and kept the mess to minimum. They cleaned up thoroughly. They did not leave anything undone and did high quality work despite the late hour. Their notching of the counter top was precise, the seam is only noticeable if you know where to look and the fit is tight to all surfaces. The counter is level in a 100+ year old house - all without ANY damage to the already installed subway tile. It's an exceptional outcome. So why only four stars? Because the plumbing partner was not in their league. They showed up and did some minimal work and then broke off a tail piece, which the initial installer was not able to repair. They quoted an additional $200 for a different plumber to repair the break, which ultimately took 22 minutes - THREE DAYS LATER. I wound up finishing and correcting much of the install in the interim, so the final fix by the first installer was only 25 minutes. Konkus is exceptional and you will be delighted with the result. Just schedule. Plumber you trust for the day after the countertop install.

I will divide this into three parts: Pre-installation, Measuring/Installation, and Follow-up 1. The sales staff were very helpful in the showroom. They explained everything clearly, helped us find the stone we were looking for, and set up everything for the crew to come measure. 5/5 stars. 2. Within a week or so, someone was sent out to measure our space. He arrived on time, wore a mask, and was polite and friendly. A few days later my wife went to the showroom for the final layout prior to cutting. About a week or so after that, the crew arrived to install. They were on-time, wore masks, and were friendly. Although it was mentioned as a possibility, they didn't do any damage to my walls when placing the stone. Unfortunately, when drilling for one of the faucets the stone cracked around the hole. 3/5 stars (only because of the crack). 3. I noticed the crack right as the installation crew was leaving (about 3:00 on a Friday). I emailed/called the office to discuss how to remedy the situation. By 5:00 Friday, I received a reply and was given the option to have the slab repaired or fully remade and replaced. I chose to have the slab repaired because I didn't want to wait for the slab to be remade. The repair person came out Monday afternoon. He wore a mask and arrived on time. The repair is essentially invisible and imperceptible when I run my finger across it. 5/5 stars on customer service after the fact. Overall, I was impressed with the entire experience. Obviously, I would have preferred not to have to deal with a crack, but the reality is sometimes things happen. You can tell a lot about a company based on how they deal with problems and I was thoroughly impressed with their response to my issue. I would recommend Konkus without reservations.

I went to Konkus on the suggestion of a few friends and it was nice, but not great. They had one of the lowest prices, but communication was marginal both in e-mail and in phone calls. The kicker was I was ready to put my money down for the slab but wanted to schedule about 2 weeks out for measurement since I already had my cabinet install date. They didn't want to schedule nor take my money. We were going to be unavailable to call the week they wanted us to schedule and it seemed hard to want to do it. I realize we didn't have the largest countertop space compared to some of the newer homes, but it was still off putting. After over a week of trying to schedule early, I gave up and went elsewhere. Fortunately I found multiple people who were happy to take my down payment and scheduled with me. They also gave me more time to just look at slabs to make sure I was making the right choice.

I would not recommend. Poor job. Had to come out and redue caulk 3-4 times due to faulty caulk. Then they ripped off the backsplash and the caulk on top of the backsplash cracked within weeks. They said they wouldn't fix... AND when they did that, they ruined the paint above. I offered to paint the entire wall again due to their poor craftsmenship already....

Our experience with Konkus wasn't the greatest. If you want someone that cares more about the customer than the bottom line, this is not the company to go for your counter top needs. We had them connect to an existing quartz top in the kitchen. We knew it wouldn't be a perfect match, but they assured us they would do their best to make it blend. There best was pretty poor!!! We told them our dissatisfaction and they could care less. In fact, we emailed the CFO twice and he ignored us and never replied. They only care about the bottom line. I gave them a 2 because they did a good job on the new counter tops which were installed. The salesman was great in the beginning, but he dropped us like a bad habit. This was before the design phase and everything. We left messages and texted him, but to no avail. Very poor customer service all around.

The bad unfortunately outweighed the good in dealing with this business. First, the good- the receptionists are very friendly and there is such a selection of products to choose from. The bad- we were having a granite curb made for a shower. On our first visit our salesman was standoffish and not very helpful. We placed our order anyway because we found something we loved. Picked it up, brought it home- both pieces were measured incorrectly. They ended up making it right the next day, but the same salesman had the nerve to act irritated that I asked to see it measured when I picked it up the second time. His response to my asking to see a measure was "I did, don't you trust me?". Um, no I don't and we won't be back.

Picked out a pretty remanent in snowy weather at Konkus. Had salesman write my name on it dated it & specfically wrote on it no red veining. So when install came what happened but sink counter with red veining!! Was soo disappointed. Never had granite before & had just had bath remodeled. Well they did replace it but replacement was nothing special. Reminds me of same samples seen at home improvement stores. So frustrated & disappointed with whole experience. Evidentially Konkus staff don't read English!

Horrible leadership from the top down. Was a very frustrating experience because lack of communication & transparency when they messed up our sink & quartzite. Our kitchen was ready for countertops first week of Aug, never got installed until end of Sept. Then took over a month to get the backsplash installed. Had to drive an hour to speak with a manager to see why my backsplash & sink was still not replaced because no one would get back with me. The whole issue was not resolved until Feb. We loved dealing with Stonemart & the people that came to our house. Konkus does the install though & that was a nightmare because management/ salespeople don't seem to communicate....

We just moved to the area and bought a big old house that needs lots of work. We have had wonderful luck with all of the contractors EXCEPT with this company. We are adding a butler's pantry and need to match the existing quartz countertops. Initially Tim was very attentive and promised to get an estimate and samples to match what we already had. Two weeks later I asked what kind of progress he had made with matching and for the estimate. I had to call again and text and FINALLY got an estimate with him offering to drop off samples the next morning. Of course he never showed and didn't respond to my text asking if he was still coming out. He finally dropped off the samples the day before cabinet installation and they aren't even close! My cabinets are being installed tomorrow and I have to start over with another company. I'm not sure what is going on with either him or the whole company, but needless to say it wasn't a great experience for us!
