I do kitchen and bath remodeling and these people are great for the countertops. Shannez is our rep most of the time and she’s been helpful at getting pictures or walking around showing slabs. Overall great company. They are also priced better than most other companies in the area. Give em a shot!

Our family had the immense pleasure of working with JL Solid Stone to bring our kitchen renovation one step closer to completion. From the very beginning we worked with Shannez at JL Solid Stone. She was able to show us different types of granite no other fabricators in the Upstate had, and we were able to work directly with her source contacts to view specific slabs to ensure we got exactly what we were looking for. We also had the joy of working with JL Solid Stone’s templater, Alexander, who was efficient and a master of his trade. He was able to template our kitchen, answer our questions, and provide a customized plan to accomplish the look we wanted. The installation process was impressive with a three man team completing the install quickly and beautifully. The installers were very knowledgeable and eager to please with a great willingness to work in earnest! Finally, Shannez was able to provide us with in depth information throughout the fabrication and installation process, and she even personally came by our home after the install was complete to ensure everything was exactly as it should be! It is difficult to overstate how pleased we are with the work ethic, attention to detail, and personalization JL Solid Stone’s team was able to provide for our family throughout this process. We could not have asked for a better team or a better price!

Great experience, beyond expectations. Switched to upstate after delays from other vendor. Customer oriented and professional. They also removed, cut and reinstalled after we discovered cabinets had to be moved! So cooperative in scheduling this correction that was not their fault!

Francisco and company gave us an outstanding experience. They came out promptly for an estimate, provided plenty of information and choices on their products, and helped us pick out a beautiful stone. They had it ready to install in a timely manner and sent a good crew over to get it done. They ran into a few unexpected problems because of an odd arrangement of our bar top, and they worked through it to figure out an answer. After the install, my stove didn't exactly fit because of an unforeseen problem. They could have said, "Too bad, you didn't have the stove on-site for us to measure," but instead, they sent someone back out to recut and polish the corners of the stove insert so it would fit perfectly. It was a great experience, with great service and great people. Thank you!

We had a wonderful experience with JL Solid Stone. We had never purchased stone countertops before and they answered every question and provided reasonable guidance along the way. The template and installation process were very smooth and professional. Our new countertops look amazing and are a reminder that great local businesses make a difference!

I would never recommend this place! Look at what they installed (see photos)! First time they came to install they brought the wrong color granite, brown instead of gray and white (which is what we ordered). We had men yelling in our home when we explained this was the wrong color granite—very scary experience. Our realtor offered to buy the miscolored granite, the company didn’t lose money on this job. When they came to install the correct color granite they left us with this huge blemished piece, prominently placed in the most conspicuous place possible. This is malicious and unacceptable! The granite isn’t sealed properly and discolor if it ever gets wet. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!!!!

Everything went well as well as we’d hoped with replacing our kitchen counters. Our salesperson, Bob, was easy to work with and responsive to our concerns and requested changes. He followed up with us often throughout the process and spent considerable time helping us plan the flow of the stone in our complicated kitchen layout. Frank did a thorough job of templating which resulted in a quality outcome. The installers were efficient and professional. I recommend this business for quality workmanship and value.

JL Solid Stone completely replaced all my kitchen countertops with quartz. From start to finish the process, was smooth, professional, with exceptional craftsmanship. I am extremely happy with the final product and my kitchen looks completely different. Shannez in the front office spent a lot of time sending me pictures and showing me samples. Her responsiveness was extraordinary and I am very grateful for the top-notch work that this company provided to me. I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.
