In 1998, Paul Charondo founded the business. Paul has been employed in the stone sector since the early 1990s, and throughout that time he has observed the demand from suppliers for manufacturers to lift the bar on a range of styles and methods. In order to reinvent the countertop installation service, he founded his own company. Over the next 20 years, he became well-known as the Bay Area's top countertop fabricator. Custom-made granite and marble countertops are fabricated and installed by them. The prices are determined by the purchased square footage of the material rather than the size of the complete slab. This makes sure you only pay for the countertop you actually need. The finished product is sent to your doorstep after internal manufacture.

Paul is a master craftsman and the service is great. Everything they did for my major remodel ( kitchens and bathrooms) was terrific. I can't recommend them enough. The supplier I bought Neolith from in SF said use InStone..they were one of only two fabricators they would recommend. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Getting ready for my fourth project with Instone. First class and they came highly recommended to me originally. This photo is my en suite bathroom with an intentional granite "shelf" on the backsplash. It increased the counter depth usability and allowed things to be above the splash zone. We went with nice Hansgrohe wall-mounted faucets (the green caps in the photo) and a Toto white under-counter sink. The granite is Blue Flower from MSI

Lucy, Paul and co are legit. Excellent service, great prices, patient and flexible. They listened to our ideas and gave direction as needed all while allowing us to be part of the process. This team is top-notch! From Julie to Lucy to Paul to Mike, they've been amazing at helping us with the most important part of our kitchen remodel. We've gone to multiple countertop companies now and Julie was the only one kind enough to give us samples and walk us through all the options. After scheduling, Mike came by to do the measurements and gave advice on what we needed to tell our contractor. Lucy was also really helpful in getting us rescheduled last minute. We haven't met Paul yet but he's been so accommodating with our requests and getting us fast tracked since we're on a tight schedule. I highly recommend working with Instone for all your countertop needs. I can't imagine remodeling my kitchen with any other company.

InStone Marble in San Leandro ARE GREAT. I had garnet installed in my kitchen 10 years ago and recently I noticed a crack. They came to my home sealed the crack and did a lot more. They did a really good job I highly recommend them as the place to go for kitchen or bathroom marble or garnet. THANKYOU

Instone Marble is Fantastic!!! We compared several companies for the purpose of installing counter tops for our kitchen remodel. We went with Instone based on Yelp reviews, the friendly office staff and PRICE. We are very happy that we did. They sent Mike out to measure our counters. He was extremely personable, professional and meticulous. He went out of his way to clarify some of the details with our contractor. When he left, we were confident that he had done a great job. Two weeks later the installation crew arrived, led by Alex. It took 5 guys to put the large slab for our island in place and they were all extremely careful and respectful of our floors and cabinets. Then, Alex and his assistant went to work on the details. Talk about a perfectionist. The placement of the various pieces was perfect. And the seams between pieces are practically invisible. Everything looks absolutely beautiful! Oh, and when they finished the installation, they carefully rolled up their tarps and swept the floor. I wish I could give these guys more stars. Highly, highly, highly recommend Instone Marble!!!!! BTW, our contractor was very impressed, too and he's a perfectionist.

I am blown away by INSTONE! They were recommended to me by my contractor. We were told it would be a 2 week fabrication period which stunk because my cabinets were late (Not INSTONE's fault). They can't measure for my countertops until the cabinets are in. They came out on Monday, Sept 18th, and did their measurements. They told my contractor the countertops would be ready for install on Monday, Oct 2nd. They called on Tuesday, 9/26 and said they are ready early. I got them installed Wednesday, 9/27. They did a fantastic job!! My countertops are beautiful!!! I could not be happier with them. THANK YOU INSTONE!!!

It's nice when you run into a business that knows the importance of customer service and producing good, quality work. When we arrived, Lucy, who gave us a tour of the facility, allowed us to look at all the available inventory, and patiently waited for us to decide what we liked. After confirming schedules, Mike came out to do the measuring of our kitchen. He was very meticulous and even needed to come out a second time to re-measure a section that had a 3/16" discrepancy in our cabinet design. The original timeline allowed for two weeks production, but Instone beat that and had the work ready ahead of schedule. I did not catch the names of the people who installed the counters, but they were just as wonderful. They were friendly, excited to take part in the kitchen remodel, and cleaned up everything nicely. We could not be happier with the overall service from start to finish. I will use them again when we do our bathroom remodel and highly recommend them!

Instone Marble has done hundreds of counter tops for our company and each one is done with care and precision. They are competitively priced but their craftsmanship is above all others. Paul and his crew stand behind their work and if anything arises they take care of it. They are a very honorable company. We recently had Instone do a counter top for our condo in Tahoe. They brought 6 guys to carry this huge island top up 3 flights of stairs and all with smiles on their faces. It was amazing.

Instone fabricated the countertops for our two bathroom remodels. The office staff is not the best with follow ups and attention to detail, which lead to a bumpy start and a couple misunderstandings. Once I pointed out my concerns to the owner Paul he took very good care of me and the remainder of the project went very smoothly. The fabrication itself was done very well and the installation crew was very professional and careful. Overall price was very competitive. We will be back.

Amongst many companies we contacted about our kitchen counter job, this was the only company that said "can do" instead it "it's impossible, just rip it all out and start again". Because only some slabs of our counter were damaged, we only needed some replaced, and the color matched. INSTONE were able to do this and we got a good result. My only complaint is that due to some apparent miscommunication between the owner whom we spoke to first and the sales agent we were passed on to, we both thought each other would be responsible for sourcing the stone, and weren't quoted for the removal of our existing granite. Despite these hiccups it all ended up well.

Instone installed granite in our kitchen about 5 years ago. They were great then. We recently had them install limestone in our master bathroom. They were just as great this time too. Now we have asked them to install a fireplace hearth as well as 2 additional vanity counters. I highly recommend Paul and his entire crew. They are knowledgable about their craft; helpful in selecting the right stone; and, absolutely professional in their installation.
