I have remodeled 5 restaurants with the help of Paul and Joe and they are easy to work with. They have really good suppliers of granite and the assortment is overwhelming in a good way. The work they do is top notch and they schedule and show up on time. I never have to get comparitive pricing because I already know they will give me the best price. Don't hesitate to give them a chance.

We used Imperial for our new kitchen. I can’t express how happy we are. Joe was so easy to deal with. He answered all our questions in great detail and was always receptive to our ideas and to the changes we ultimately made. They showed up when they said they would and were extremely considerate of our home during installation. I have recommended them to my daughter for her new kitchen.

I had the boys at Imperial Tile renovate my kitchen and bathroom from top to bottonm. Not knowing anything about design, I relied on their expertise. The end product was better than I had hoped. The choices they gave me in tiles was terrific, the cabinets were very high quality and my quartz countertops were exactly what I was looking for. They were on time and in budget , which is always a plus.

Initially used Imperial to install a countertop in my old house and they a decent job so we had them do our bathroom. 5 years after the install and one of the under mount sinks they installed has detached from the countertop. Looking underneath it appears they only attached it on side with the metal clasps and on the other they actual cut a chunk out of the top of the cabinet as they measured it incorrectly. Caulk instead of silicone and it has discolored and the adhesion has failed. Would not use them again.

I have had several homes that I updated the kitchen and bathroom to over the years. Paul and Joe have always been there to help me get it done right, fast and with the best material and the best prices. From custom tile and granite trim for a large shower, to granite and quartz countertops for my kitchens. Most recently I had a quartz countertops installed in my newest home and Imperial Tile came in over 1000 less than the various other quotes I received. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a one stop Shop for tile, granite and quartz. Thanks Paul and Joe you guys are the best.

We had Imperial Tile and Marble supply and install our quartz counters; they are gorgeous. We were offered many choices for quartz from many manufacturers which is what we decided we wanted now, having previously had granite. We also had our backsplash tiled by them and the choices for backsplash were immense. We decided on a handmade looking subway tile. We love the end result and the company was great to deal with.

We had an excellent experience working with Paul on our kitchen remodel. We took many trips to the showroom before selecting our tile and he was always so patient and accommodating. After our order was placed and delivered, wood floor was uncovered during the renovation of our space and we decided to refinish it rather than proceed with tile. Paul was very kind in processing our return and encouraged us to do what we ultimately wanted even though this meant a loss for them. We later purchased our backsplash tile through Imperial Tile and again, received timely and helpful assistance deciding on and placing our order. This is the kind of customer service you always hope to get but don't see much these days and we appreciated it so much. Thanks again, Paul!

Imperial Tile has been in business for years (1949) and although there are many booming tile/granite places we decided to stick with a small business that is just as good. We decided on Absolute Black Quartz and a square under mount sink that was quite pricy but worth it and will be installed soon....

Doing some things over cause have no choice contractor can't believe the crappie job nothing level brought to the attention of Paul a ton of times blamed all the people he hired , I thought I hired Imperial Tile but I guess not. Shower holds water he said the guy must have been looking at ceiling when putting in. Great answer Paul I could go on and on but I guess doing a complete bathroom is not worth it to Imperial Tile.

Don't bother. I wish I had adhered to the reviews. At first, my experience was OK.
After installation, and waiting 5 months for a cutting board, I have changed my mind. My counter does not hold up well from fingerprints, dish marks, spills....basically anything. I knew nothing about counter tops when I was shopping and I asked very point blank questions regarding the finish. I was told it would hold up against anything. ha! It holds up against nothing and when I reached out to the distributor, I was told that this happens all the time with my countertop - it is even written in the warranty. Funny, Joe DeSantis never mentioned it and actually couldn't say enough good things about it. I never got my cutting board because Paul DeSantis could not be bothered with following through on him promise. Not men of honor or dignity. Stay away.

Does Imperial Tile have its own countertop fabrication facility?
As part of our independent research, we attempted to determine whether Imperial Tile has its own natural stone countertop fabrication facility. Our analyst contacted the company as a mystery shopper, but unfortunately, we were unable to obtain a clear answer — the calls and messages either went unanswered or did not provide the necessary information.
The absence of confirmed data about fabrication should not be seen as a negative sign. In our experience, it is not uncommon for companies to miss some incoming inquiries or choose not to disclose such details during initial contact.

According to our research, Imperial Tile does not offer a veteran discount — this information was provided by a company representative during a conversation with our mystery shopper. We recommend confirming the details directly: submit a request, call, or message the company through our website — and be sure to ask about any available discounts. In many cases, contractors are open to discussing individual terms.

Unfortunately, as part of our independent research, we were unable to obtain pricing information from Imperial Tile. However, they were either unable to reach anyone by phone, or never received the promised estimate after the initial conversation.
We want to emphasize that the lack of response or data does not necessarily reflect the quality of the company's work. What is the fabrication and installation timeline for a countertop at Imperial Tile?
According to our independent research, Imperial Tile in Providence, RI offered one of the fastest fabrication and installation timelines for a stone countertop — just 10 business days. Acting as secret shoppers, our analysts contacted the company with a request for the fabrication and installation of a stone countertop measuring 83.4 square feet. A company representative informed us that the entire project could be completed in just 10 business days, which allowed us to categorize this contractor as having a fast turnaround time.
Please note that the timeframe quoted to our secret shopper may differ from what you are offered, as the production timeline depends on many factors — including project complexity, chosen material, and the company’s current workload. We recommend confirming the current timeline directly by submitting a request, calling, or messaging the contractor through our website.
How long does it take Imperial Tile to prepare a quote for countertop fabrication and installation?
According to our research, Imperial Tile in Providence, RI prepared a project estimate within 10 days. After a phone call, our mystery shopper sent a request to the company’s representative, including a countertop project of 83.4 square feet, and received a detailed quote for the fabrication and installation of the countertop. This speed of response allowed us to classify the company as one with a very fast quote preparation time.
It’s important to note that the time required to prepare an estimate may vary depending on the company’s current workload, the complexity of the project, and the chosen material. We recommend submitting a request, calling, or messaging the company through our website to get a personalized quote and clarify the current turnaround time.
Does Imperial Tile offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, Imperial Tile performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does Imperial Tile provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, Imperial Tile, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact Imperial Tile in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
