A friend recommended House of Stone, and we dropped in while driving by one day. The selection was incredible and Valerie had a lot of patience with us as we chose a perfect quartz. We brought home samples to see them against our cabinets and flooring. The appointments were all completed in a timely fashion. The final product installed completely transformed our kitchen. We love it! (Thanks for all the Tootsie Rolls, too!)

I found House of Stone through a simple google search. I took the time to compare 5 different stone companies in the Milwaukee area from price to average turn-around time to friendliness of staff. When showing up in jeans & t-shirt most places didn’t take me seriously not to mention told me it would be minimum 2-3 weeks for measurement appointment & then 5-6 weeks from time of measure to install. House of Stone was the only place that made me feel comfortable when discussing options, answered all my questions and allowed me time to think through my choices not pressuring me into making an appointment or putting money down. Also, once I was ready I had a measurement appointment within a week (Todd was amazing!) and my quartz counter tops with full backsplash were ready to be installed in just a couple weeks (Todd & Eddy were so great to work with!). The install was so easy & the countertops looked absolutely beautiful. House of Stone wasn’t the cheapest of the 5 places I compared. They sat about in the middle, but when considering their friendly staff they were far above all the other places. I highly recommend House of Stone to anyone that want’s beautiful stone with friendly service!

The show staff were very friendly and helpful. I wanted to support a local business even though it would cost a bit more but I regret that decision. The workers sent for measurement and installation/repair both arrived well outside their given time frames. When the quartz was installed there was a wide, irregular seam where they cut the hole for the faucet, which was very noticeable since it was in the center and right above the sink. They sent someone to re-caulk and fix the seam twice but we were still not happy with how it looked. When I spoke with the owner he was very rude and condescending. He said my only recourse was to find an outside fabricator to come in and say the installation/product was defective and even then the stone manufacturer probably would not agree to send a new stone. I would not recommend this company.

Todd’s profound knowledge and experience was helpful as we converted an antique dresser into a vanity. His profound knowledge and experience of both materials and design helped us to create a bathroom that is beautiful and timeless!

We have used House of Stone for granite countertops years ago when we remodeled our kitchen & bath. They have a showroom with slabs of stone (granite, quartz & more) and they are great to do business with. We have always been very satisfied.

My husband and I have worked with the folks at House of Stone multiple times over the last several years and everytime we are impressed by their excellent service, courteous employees and their ability to work with our timelines. In fact, we recently upgraded our guest bathroom and had House of Stone fabricate and install our new quartz countertop. We waited until the last minute to select the perfect countertop and had out of town guests arriving within only weeks of our order being placed... and they made it happen, just in time for our guests to arrive! We were so impressed! If you have some new construction or remodels on the horizon, get over to House of Stone, you will NOT be disappointed!

We were very satisfied with the work House of Stone did in our Kitchen! We went into the showroom knowing that we wanted two contrasting color in the kitchen, one color for the island, one for the countertops. My wife and myself initially picked an off-white color and a black from their huge array of choices. Our designer, Valerie, ultimately talked us out of using the off-white and going to more of a pure white color. Glad she did so! The end result was better than we imagined! They were able to cut the huge island piece with no seams which was quite impressive. While House of Stone is a large granite and marble fabricator that does a lot of commercial work, they are able to tuck in residential remodel work that is worth the wait!

Firsties! Tons of great remnants (seriously, something like 100 pieces) - no need to spend tons of cash on a full size piece of granite if you're only doing a bathroom. Which is exactly what I needed. Lots of edge options as well. I stopped by late on a Friday afternoon and even though they were ready to close, Mary helped me look around at the remnants and pick a great piece that's gonna be awesome in my guest bathroom. And... it's right next door to BBC lighting (which I am addicted to).

Customer service is horrible! Had countertops installed 5 years ago and the seams were deteriorating. Called for repairs, and was told "no problem, we can get someone out there in a week or two" but no one will follow up with me and I've repeatedly sent emails and have called. Would never trust this place of business.

1 star is being nice. Horrible customer service. Lady at the phone will say anything to keep disgruntled customers happy. The whole process should have taken 4 weeks tops. We were left without a functioning kitchen for 2 months while we waited for this company to get their crap together. They over book and then lie about why they didn't show up(no phone call either) to 2 install appointments. And on top of everything, we paid in full up front and they avoided our phone calls like the plague. I was in panic mode thinking these people just took $4000 from us and are going to leave us hanging. Had to use different phone numbers for them to pick up! She also told us we would get compensated for all the problems. Guess what, we got nothing! I've never dealt with such an unprofessional business.

After days of waiting for a response and quote, we scheduled a measurement for fabrication, and waited 3 hours for them to show up as scheduled... no tech showed up and no call. Unprofessional. They told us they were very busy - but that's not an excuse for poor customer service, and for wasting our time. We'll use a different fabricator.
