I stopped by the Half-Price Kitchen showroom on NE 14th Ave and met Michael Avitable, a designer and sales person. We set up an appointment for him to come by my condo and talk about my needs. I had no idea of what I wanted but Michael was able to help me understand the process of upgrading my kitchen and guest bathroom. Michael had some excellent ideas, many of which I would never had explored without his input. I went back to the showroom to get a better idea of the types of cabinets and hardware they offered, as well as to look at the types of countertops available....and there were many in a wide range of prices. I asked for a proposal and HPK was able to meet my budgetary needs readily. The installation process was able to begin within a couple of weeks. The cabinets were delivered on a Friday afternoon and installation began the following Monday. It only took two days for the crew of four to install everything. The countertops were fabricated at another location and were delivered and installed a couple of weeks after the cabinets. They were able to keep the different pieces whole. In the end I was able to add considerably more storage than before and more counter space which I really needed. We expanded the bar to fit four persons from two. Everything went smoothly with Michael's supervision of the work teams and kept things on time. I don't know how they were able to install the countertops with just two persons since the granite was so. I was able to install the backsplash myself with tiles from a major retailer. Though HPK offered all the necessary equipment, I was able to pick up the sinks, faucets and hardware at various retailers and I was able to take advantage of 4th of July and Memorial Day sales which saved me considerably in the aggregate. I'm very happy with the quality of the materials and feel I got a lot for my money. If you're in the market for a kitchen or bath upgrade, give HPK a try.

I had a small countertop job for my kitchen renovation. Home Depot and a few others did not want to deal with such a small dollar project. Half Price Kitchens treated me like they cared about my vision despite it being a small, inexpensive job. I am thrilled with the outcome. Until I met with Michael Avitable I thought I knew what I wanted my kitchen to look like. Michael suggested ways to open my kitchen that I had not known were possible. Remodeling a kitchen is definitely a challenge when you're occupying the property; however, a good kitchen company like Half Price Kitchen and good planning ahead is key to a smooth kitchen remodeling. Half Price Kitchen succeeded my expectations thanks to Stephanie Josetti's guidance. Stephanie really provided comfort with her expertise by providing a good planning and walk me through the process. She listened to what I had in mind and she put it into a design. She is amazing because she really designed what exactly I had in mind. She is very well organize and acts swiftly when it comes to take on projects. She advised me before hand what exactly I needed and the sizes of the new appliances I will be needing, as well to ensure that ALL new appliances are in the house before the cabinets are installed. I followed her advice, and it was a smooth transition with little stress. Since time is of the essence, it is very important to ensure any electrical, plumbing, and paint work is done between the demolition and the new cabinets installation; therefore, it is very important to have a plumber and electrician ready to go between the demo and the cabinets installation. Since I didn't know anyone, Stephanie provided some options. I did hired a plumber on my own since I knew one. I also requested the demolition to be done by the installers as I didn't want to have too many people working on this project as the logistics of it can be overwhelming, so I would recommend to have the demolition done by the installers. Right after that have any plumbing and electrical work done before the new cabinets installation. It takes about a week or 10 days for the new countertop to be installed. In total, with a good planning ahead, a new kitchen remodeling can take about 3 weeks, so be ready to buy enough paper plates, cups, and plastic silverware and enough microwave/air fryer food. In summary, I would 100% recommend Half Price Kitchen.

I have been looking for a bathroom vanity for a few months now. Everything I looked at was over a thousand dollars and I did not that have that much to spend. The vanities at other locations were either too much or made with cheap material. Half price kitchen took their time, helped me design my vanity, and worked within my budget. They were AMAZING!!!! My husband and I are looking to remodel our kitchen. We've been to a few big names brand stores but their selection was minimal and they all carried the same items. Half Price remodeled my kitchen back in 2016 and it still looks good to this day. We stopped by and they had a warehouse full of granite, quartz, quartzite slabs for you to choose from. They also have a showroom with different kitchen designs. We sat with Gary and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all of my questions (which there was a a lot) with a smile. I loved the service and the fact that he wasn't trying to "sell" me anything. I have been communicating with Gary via email to finalize the plans and I'm still getting the same great service.

I worked with Stacy Bieler in the Delray Beach and she is AMAZING....she has so much experience in home design combined with her knowledge of the product and design options for my "tired" kitchen. She was always available to answer my questions and concerns....very patient when I altered the initial design after delivery....and she always reassured me that the results would be exactly what I had hoped for....and it was!!! The quality of the cabinets exceeded my expectations.....lastly, it was definitely worth the drive down to Ft Lauderdale from Wellington for the counter top selections. I love my white SODA cabinets, I love my Fantasy Brown quartzite, I love HPK!

My kitchen was done by Half Price Cabinets. I had the pleasure of working with Pierre Auger. Pierre wow'd me with the design of my kitchen. I had a small galley kitchen. Knowing my galley kitchen was small, I was amazed with his design and pleasantly surprised with his eye for detail. It was perfect...outstanding and wow'd me. Everyone who saw the before and the after simply loved my kitchen. He provided me with excellent service and was easy to work with, always pleasant and had that "can do" attitude. Their customer service is beyond reproach. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. You'll be very happy with their professionalism, customer service, installation and of course, the price. It's the only business I would feel comfortable recommending because they are top notch. Pierre is an ambassador for Half Price Cabinets because he is exceptional in his ability and his representation of this business.

My friend had a complete kitchen done by Ted of Half price. He was quite pleased. So.... I needed some bathroom cabinets and countertop done. Ted worked with us, made some great suggestions, and took care of us. When he came to make final measurements he made suggestions that were even better. The cabinet installers were great again, as were the people that did the quartz countertop and sinks. I have nothing but good things to say about all of them!!! This review is a little late but I just HAVE to tell about my amazing experience with this company and with their employee Tony Gonzalez in particular! I was leaving to drive across country and stopped there on my way out... I was rushing and flustered because I needed a few cabinets in a hurry. Tony took great care in understanding what I was looking for, showing me options, drawing out ideas and getting me a great deal price wise... all sorted and paperwork signed in about 45 minutes! He went out of his way to help me with delivery and made calls to make sure the cabinets would be waiting for me upon my return in less than a week. I left there feeling great. The top notch service didn't end there either - Tony stayed on top of my project even tho it wasn't a big job. He helped me get in contact with a very good and trustworthy installer (another great experience) and got him out there the day after my cabinets were in. I mean I really couldn't have had a more smooth experience buying cabinets! From meeting Tony to the installer doing little things to help me (like cutting out a small section of base board and cutting a hole to expose an electrical outlet) - AND the cabinets are soooooo nice! Solid, strong, great hinges and slow close drawers... I LOVE THEM! I will be returning to see Tony Gonzalez and Half Price Kitchen's when I do my big kitchen and I'm super excited about that too! I was renovating a one bedroom condo for a client, and he asked me about where should buy his kitchen cabinets, I laughed, and told him I just met a women and mentioned to her I was looking for kitchen cabinets. She told me what she does and I but that to memory. I did some research about the company, and talk to some of my friends in the business. after their positive comments, I took it to the next step and gave her the measurements, but she took it even further, she came over and made some very good suggestion that the owner and I loved. The owner purchased the cabinetry, I chose to pick it up at their fort Lauderdale location. I was helped with loading, back at the condo I assembled the cabinets with ease, installed them. the owner and I decided we needed to change 2 of the cabinets and talked with Stephanie. what a professional. 2 days later the cabinets came, installed, very satisfied customer. I'm now working on my next renovation project, and Half Price Kitchen and Stephanie is where I'm buying my cabinetry. My name is Lynell and with that kind of service, thank!!!!!!

We used Kitchens for Half Price and could not have been happier. Stephanie was absolutely fantastic. Our project was not huge however she spent a tremendous amount of time with us from the initial visit to the final design. She is very knowledgeable and even placed our project on a CAD program to computer create the final image design. I am a self admitted crazy person and she answered every one of my MANY MANY emails and texts. I have done a few home renovations and Stephanie was one of the most knowledgeable and patient people I have worked with. :)

I find amazing they can post my Kitchen pictures on line dated Feb.24 and yet the fabricator Maurico has been called at least 8 times and many text and yet no follow up on a cutting board promised 6 months and nothing. I wanted to purchase additional granite for my master bath. I called my sales rep Gary on thursday he asked to him on Saturday at 11am you call him he's with a client and says he will call back. At 3:45 I spoke to him and and he can't get to it until tuesday??? REALLY Wouldnt you think a business would be greatful for repeat business!

I usually don't write reviews because there is always two sides to every story however my experience with Ron must be shared. Ron is a liar, a racist, he is condescending, passive aggressively rude, and takes no accountability. After he had my money in his coffers he became Mr. Hyde. He harassed me through text messages after I repeated told him to stop texting me. He should be fired for the way I was treated. The owner made things right due to an error that Ron made so I was satisfied there. The cabinets and the installers were decent. Although, I was bullied into using the company installers because Ron claims the work would not have been warranted if installed by my installer. I found out that was a lie because the installer are a separate third party company and they warranty their own work. Long story short I will never do business with Half price kitchen again because of this experience with Ron. You've been warned.

Baby, I had a scheduled appointment for my kitchen install with Bobby and she was a no-show. I called the office the following Monday to find out why she didn't show up and they told me she had strep throat. I rescheduled another appointment with her and gave her the information for the arrival to arrival to my house for the kitchen estimate and she was a no-show again and I never heard back from them so I decided to go with another company. This company is not reliable and I will never use them.

Website clearly states that they give free phone quotes. The very first thing that I was told when calling the Ft. Lauderdale store after saying I was calling for a price on new kitchen cabinets was "You have to make an appointment and come in to our store to sit with a designer". What a CROC. I just want updated cabinets not redesigning Noahs ARK here. Horrible from the start, poor customer service.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I decided to redo my entire kitchen with this company and the whole process has been a complete nightmare that is still continuing. The scheduler Carolina, forgot to schedule my installation on their calendar and left me with a completely demo'd kitchen. After being pushed back that week the installers showed up and WRONG CABINETS were installed. The designer I worked with Monica forgot to update my order. However the worst part of all of this was when they RECONFIGURED my kitchen cabinets WITHOUT MY CONSENT OR APPROVAL !!!! They never mentioned this and waited for me to notice it. This left my kitchen completely not symmetrical and not what I designed!!!! The unprofessionalism continued as then I was introduced to Morris, who was supposed to rectify this entire disaster. Morris along with everyone I dealt with in his company never offered an apology or accountability. Instead he thought by offering me $500 when I was spending almost $12,000 was sufficient enough. After playing phone tag for an extra whole week I am still left with no working kitchen 13 days later!!!!! LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES AND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!

Very disappointed and upset. I deal with Ron Perkov one of the salesman of this place. He was very friendly when came to my apartment to sell me the set of kitchen cabinets and countertop. After I paid and picked up those cabinets I found out that he sold me 2 cabinets 36" × 18" and I needed one 36×18 and one 18×18. I called him after that and he told me that I have to cut one cabinet in half. I never heard such a thing before. He never told me that and I contacted two cabinets makers and they told me that those wall cabinets can not be cut in half like he said. If you decide to buy at this place make sure that they give you the right size of cabinets. I won't buy from this company ever again.

I share the sentiment with other reviewers and if I could also give you no starts or negative starts I would. I visited their other location and dealt with Adam. I followed up nearly two weeks almost everyday to complete the project. He did nothing! I have never dealt with a salesperson who lacked the basic follow-up skills even when handed the deal on a platter to close. If you worked for me you would be fired. Terrible service, terrible follow-up.

This company is horrible! If I could give them less than one star I would. We purchased these cabinets less than a year ago and now have termites from them. When my husband called to discuss the issue, he was pretty much laughed at and told because their wood of course they could have termites. The least they could do is help with the cost of now having to tent/fumigate our entire house. Most cabinet companies will actually come in and replace the cabinets, but the cost of fumigating is less so was trying to do the right thing. PLEASE take your business elsewhere where the company and people actually care about their customers.

Half Price Quartz is an associated business located at the same address. Half Price Quartz? More like half ass quartz! I have flipped many houses and had plenty of granite tops installed. These guys sub it out to a company even more half ass than themselves. I have never ever never seen a countertop be cut and delivered without preparing a template first. What do you get 100% of the time-A miscut piece of rock that has to be Gerry-rigged on the job-if it can be. Of course this turns simple installs into multi day affairs as what happened with me. I called my salesman Pierre who was too busy to call back until it was time to get paid. Half price? They were more expensive than the competition. They just happened to have the piece I liked. Run a half marathon, watch a halftime show, have half a sandwich with soup, but do all you can to avoid this half ass company!

If I could give no stars that would be my choice. I believe I was the only person in the showroom this week and the man that helped spent about 20 minutes in total. He said he had to make an important phone call. He never returned for over 45 minutes. I went to get a quote and he a told me verbally. He said he would email it to me instead off giving it to me. The next day, I called and he was supposedly out to lunch. The following day , I called again and he was not in yet. Again, I called and Pierre couldn't find it on his computer. I resent the measurement and he emailed me just the dollar number, no measurements or cabinets listed on the email. Called back, and supposedly spoke to a manager, who answered the phone rudely and informed him I wanted to speak to the manager. He said he was the manager. I explained how the quote was a just a $$ number with no products listed. He told me that the way we do it. I could have gotten a quote for a candy bar. I said I would not want to do business with this place. All were rude and unprofessional. NO WAY WOULD I TRUST A PLACE TO DO A KITCHEN!!!

I chose to go with this company because of all the 4+ star reviews. I must have been the exception because my experience with the company was far from pleasant. Their products and buying process are great. However, I made the mistake of paying everything in full (I feel I did not get good customer service because they already had my money). In addition, my kitchen was not measured correctly--and the "expert" didn't catch the mistake either. Long story short, I had to wait a month for cabinets I ended up not needing because they were the wrong size. Kathy, the one who was helping me with the whole buying process, rarely communicated with me, and in fact she was the one who measured my kitchen incorrectly. Moreover, the layout plan I paid and approved of didn't match what I got and the owner ended up coming out and helping me. Though his response was prompt, no one ever took responsibility for making the mistake. I also had two items delivered that were damaged--only for the man in charge of delivery to call me saying I didn't really need to return those items because I can "just flip them and no one would see the damage." Add to that, I had to wait an entire month for something they advertise will take two weeks ("kitchen package"). I'm not the only person who has had problems. In fact, I recommended the company to a family friend. However, after they botched the delivery, my friend ended up canceling his very expensive order. My parents were also going to go through this company, but after seeing my experience (and our friend's), they have chosen to take their business elsewhere. I only hope that if you took the time to read all of this, you understand by going with this company, you will probably encounter delays in the schedule and terrible communication. There a TON of other places where you can get a kitchen for the same price, if not cheaper. They aren't BB accredited (in fact overview says F). Buyer beware.

If it were possible to give this place a minus 10, I would! No work ethics, rude and arrogant staff, dishonest, shoddy work, no follow up, no apologies... Our project got delayed 3 full months due to their bad suppliers, the many mistakes made that were never corrected, etc., etc... I could write pages on how they wronged us and how poorly they treated us. I would advise anyone to stay away from this company, especially on account of their rudeness and dishonesty.

While kitchens they make can be the "half price" of normal ones, but their quality is 10 times worse. They delivered wrong size cabinets with wrong faces. Holes for hinges were made on the wrong side. Hinges were cheapest, making doors scratch each other, and so on. But the worst part of it is that their installer Wesley came 3 times and every time something kept him from starting the work. In result, after 3 months we had to hire other people to install the kitchen. And only then opened boxes and found out that cabinets were wrong. But Christine De Loureiro refused to replace anything. I'm posting my review on other sites too...

A design was done and was shown the outcome (12/20/14) On 1/7/15 the cabinets arrived. The cabinets were put together only to find out that 3 cabinets were the wrong measurement. The installation was stalled as the cabinets needed to be put up in sequence. Additional cabinets were ordered and installed. It took another week before someone was able to come out and measure the countertops and another week before they were installed. From first deposit to completion was 5 weeks. Don't be misled, go somewhere else.
