Our experience with Granite Transformations completely exceeded our expectations. We love our new kitchen countertops and the sink is absolutely beautiful. After a few years of getting quotes and looking at other products, we chose Granite Transformations and the old tile was history in only two days! From start to finish the entire staff was courteous and answered all of our questions. Our installers were so attentive to detail and worked very hard to get our job just right. We finally remodeled our kitchen with Granite Transformations and I wish we had done it sooner. The installers were very conscious of leaving the house clean and neat. After only 3 years the ends of the counter tops started chipping. Please don't go there, I tried to reach out to them just to see what they would recommend and if we can prevent further chipping but they were too busy! I followed up with them with several emails but didn't get anywhere.

Not sure about their work, but the response time on the front end is really dismal. I sent my dimensions and photos in two weeks ago and was promised response on an initial quote. No response. I continually follow up. They continually tell me they will get me something “today”. I’m giving up

Brian Lopez measured and made the template for this project, then he himself made the countertops in the shop, and all the adjoining pieces...backsplash, etc. Day 3 he returned with his assistant, Joe Montes, and together they assembled and literally transformed my kitchen into a new, clean, perfect fresh kitchen, including installing a brand new sink. They were professional, and very conscientious about doing a great job! Also, everyone in office and sales were courteous and helpful every step of the way. Thank you all, we love our new kitchen!!! I guess the guys from Escondido come up north to install. Our installer reaked of alcohol and brought random person to assist not vetted by company. I had two jewelry pieces go missing. Do NOT trust an installer named Jay or John. Infact do not trust this place at all. I have called corporate.

He was very professional friendly and did an excellent job of installing and clean up after the job was completed. He explained everything when done cleaned up one last time and thanked us. Our experience with the San Diego branch of Granite Transformations was great. We absolutely love our new beautiful counters. The customer service was great, from Rami who came out to give the initial quote and stayed in contact throughout, to Brian who did the work, and Heidi in the office--they were all professional and yet seemed very personal. We would highly recommend. This cost-efficient way to completely revamp the look of your kitchen is definitely worth it. And we love the new sink that came with the counters! We also love how fast the work was done (in about 3 days once it was ordered) and that there was no demo.

I have been wanting to remodel my kitchen for the longest time but I was concerned of all the complications that I would have to deal with remodeling a kitchen. Fortunately I was happy to find Granite Transformations located in Escondido. The owner Rami Baqain was very patient and respectful when he came to my home and showed the Italian wood and countertop that his company was able to provide. I was so amazed of the quality of the materials which surpassed any comparison to others. What made my life so easy on this kitchen project was the outstanding customer service, Heidi. She was able to give me the logistical foundation of what is to transpire for that day. If I had questions she would take the time to explain to me with full understanding. The employees that have worked on my kitchen cabinets and the countertop was simply respectful and very professional. Their hard work and effort made my kitchen so eloquent and beautiful. These guys are amazing! My project involved new countertops, cabinet refacing and backsplash/wall tiles in kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. From the initial contact, cost estimate, scheduling and remodeling, everything went as planned. JJ and AJ took only 3 days to do the countertops and they did a fantastic job, while Peter and AJ did the cabinets also in 3 days for a stellar result. These guys know their craft, are very courteous (AJ even played with my puppy during his breaks!), and they clean up very well at the end of each work day. When small issue came up, they not only had solutions but they ran it by me before fixing to avoid any surprises and misunderstanding. Bruce (manager) also has a lot of experience and can find solutions to almost any problem/issues you may face in your project; he even provided me with several (free) advices with other projects I had going on in my house! I will hire them again for my future projects without hesitation. Kudos GT!

We had our kitchen counter tops done by Granite Transformation last year and our master bathroom done this year. We're very happy with both projects! We chose them mainly because they don't have to demolition the old counters - just place the new on top of the old. Rick, the salesman is very nice to work with, is willing to spend a lot of time with you going over different options, and is easy to get on the phone to answer any questions. JJ, the installer we had on both projects, does a great job and is a very hard worker. It's hard to find people that are as concerned with making the project perfect. The office staff is very courteous as well. We highly recommend Granite Transformation!

If I could give them 10 stars I would. We have been waiting a long time to get our countertops done but the thought of all the construction in the house sounded terrible. We came across these guys at the boat show in Del Mar and they had a show special. We pulled the trigger and were excited to get a kitchen upgrade. You could maybe save a little bit of money going to a big box store but you get what you pay for. We set up a time and they were always there when they said they would. Our installer Brian was awesome. He was professional and personable. He even did a few things that I didn't think was in our contract. They showed up for about 2 hours on a Wednesday to make templates, then came back for a full day on Friday and the work was done! Very minimal mess since they cut all the granite in their shop. Can't say enough about this business. Great quality work and reliable staff. Awesome work Granite Transformations!

We first used granite transformations to replace our countertops 13 years ago and had a wonderful experience. The countertops still look great and we are often asked if they are new. Most recently we had them reface our kitchen cabinets. Ryan was great to work with and easy to communicate with. JJ was our installer and worked very hard during the entire process, essentially doing the entire install by himself. Even when we asked for a couple of things to be adjusted and fixed, Ryan, Ray and JJ were receptive and clearly demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction. Refacing is much more cost effective than replacing and our cabinets look great.

From day one I have been impressed by the kindness and professionalism of every person I've come into contact with here, from the showroom rep to the designer and especially the installer. Ryan, the designer came to my home and was extremely helpful with trying to give me the best ideas for my kitchen because I didn't have much of a vision. He was very accommodating through all of my questions via text, a change in backsplash, changes to the contract, etc. there was never a point where I felt out of the loop. The week before my install, we were able to go down to the shop and see our granite slabs which I thought was really cool. Our installer was JJ who I honestly cannot say enough good things about. This man did my entire kitchen (countertops and backsplash) BY HIMSELF. My husband who is in construction couldn't believe he was doing all this work by himself - but even though he didn't have a helper this week, he went completely above and beyond any expectation I could've had. The company should feel extremely lucky to have such an incredible employee who truly cares about what he's doing, the quality of his work and the happiness and satisfaction of his clients. If you use this company, I highly suggest you request JJ as your installer and you will not be disappointed! His work is absolutely IMPECCABLE! Having someone in my house every day for 5 days normally would've made me very anxious and not comfortable but I felt like he was a part of the family by the end of day 1. My 3 year old loved watching him work and I never felt uncomfortable when I had to leave JJ alone at the house. Based on the installer alone I would 100% recommend this company - but honestly I have nothing negative to report. I'm extraordinarily happy with my new kitchen!

I would like to share the latest update to a review l posted concerning Granite Transformation. I'm not going to go into details so to understand what this is about l suggest you read my previous comments. I shared some issues and concerns l had with a job done by GT and expressed l was not satisfied with the process not the product. I did receive what l asked and paid for and was very happy and satisfied with the results. Last weekend I received a personal phone call from the owner Mr. Jim Fay about my concerns. After some conversation and explanation with Mr. Fay about why l felt that way he assured me that he understood and was very apologetic and asked could he make this right. Mr Fay took it upon himself to reimburse me a fair monetary discount for the issues and inconvenience my wife an l went thru during the work at our home. i would like to say that he didn't have to do a thing but continue on with his business and take the attitude you got what you wanted what's the problem. This was not the case and l want to set the record straight that Mr. Fay and his company are a business with integrity , are forthright and caring about its customers. I appreciate the fact he took it personal that i was not satisfied, sought me out, called and offered what l believe to be a fair retribution. I meant no harm or disrespect to any person or persons, but l personally want to thank Mr. Fay and his representative Russell for the way you handled my concerns. You went above and beyond to make sure a customer was totally satisfied and for that sir l applaud you, your employees and the company that you've built. Met Jim Fay (owner) at Del Mar Home & Garden Show last year & really liked their ideas of redoing our ugly showers with minimal work & no construction/tear down & minimal downtime, around 2-3 days for each shower. WORK QUALITY: excellent! They took care to ensure all the tiles aligned and matched, and they did a quality job installing the tile boards over the existing old tile. They left the house clean and just as it was. You couldn't tell we had workers redoing our bathrooms. Easy, no demolition or work mess! CUSTOMER SERVICE: If only there were 10 stars rating. I worked w/Ray to coordinate the install, & Mona Fay (owner) for the tile selection for each bathroom. I only worked w/Mona over the phone & email, but she was the nicest, most accommodating person! I sent her pics of what we wanted in terms of color & she selected various tile palettes for us. After narrowing our choices, she mailed out samples for us to see. VERY IMPORTANT to actually see the physical samples as they tend to look different than in pictures. We loved the samples & she ordered them for us. Yes, we trusted their sense of design to do this whole process over email. Saved us time & travel. Ray did all the install coordination as well as came out to measure, & check on the quality of the finished work. BTW, I'd like to add that he is the nicest person to deal with. He is VERY concerned with customers' satisfaction every step of the process. He continually communicated with us from beginning to finish. OVERALL: For anyone looking to redo their kitchen &/or bathrooms without the construction & mess, I highly recommend Granite Transformations. They use quality products, not cheap, imitation granite or tiles. They do a wide variety of custom designs, not just granite. We are going to have them reface our fireplace as an art piece focal point. Aside from the high quality products & work, their customer service is unrivaled by other remodel companies. Thanks GT for an economic, professional and quality upgrade to my bathroom vanity!! I only wish I did this years ago! They have many color choices and everything is recycled/green/100% granite etc. And best of all no messy demolition is needed. Everything goes right over your existing counter/tile/wall. Usually only 2 days needed to complete the work as well. The first day a tech comes out and measures and does a template. Then they come back the next day with your surface to install! The techs are punctual and clean up when they leave. I highly recommend this type of upgrade to your home. I will definitely give Skip a call when I'm ready to do my kitchen counters!! You should do the same! Love love love my bathroom countertop!!

We had Granite Transformations cover our kitchen tile surfaces that had grout lines which were impossible to keep clean. The granite is only 1/4" thick and can be seamless for most counter surfaces. It is infused with sealer so it is impervious to stains and requires no maintenance. George and his crew built the patterns in just a couple of hours and went back to their shop to custom build the top "boxes" that fitted over my old tile and 4" facing tiles to give it a thick slab granite look. They gave me a new sink for "free" and coordinated with an excellent plumber to get it all done. I recommend this solution for anyone who wants to upgrade from tile or laminate to granite without the hassle and mess of extensive demolition work. I am more than pleased with the final result and know that the granite upgrade will add value to our future resale price. I now wish I had called Granite Transformations sooner. Great product, great service and great value.

When I bought a new place, I called Granite Transformations to put in new counter tops in the new place. Love the results! These folks are easy to work with and do amazing work. I kept a scrap piece and cut vegetables on it, set a hot saucepan on it, even tried to stain it with Merlot, but the product was undamaged. If I do a 3rd project, I'm calling these guys! My kitchen and bathrooms look like something out of a magazine. So happy! (Wish all the other contractors had been this good and this easy to work with!)

Granite Transformations installed new counter tops in our kitchen during a major remodel. This was, without a doubt, the best remodel/contractor experience I have ever had. First, the product is absolutely wonderful; it looks beautiful and is very easy to clean and care for. It does not require any special maintenance. The sales person was very knowledgeable and alleviated my fears of the "mess" that I thought I would encounter with this project. The installation was a smooth, neat, clean process, thanks to the wonderful installer. We are very pleased with the result and I would not hesitate to recommend this company or the product to anyone!!

It's summer 2012, and we had Granite Transformations return for our master bath remodel. We were very pleased with GT last year, for our kitchen remodel, and we are just as pleased this time. GT provided us with a new granite vanity and backsplash and did our new shower stall (and floor) with its 95% granite/5% resin product. Very few seams and a gorgeous end result! As noted before, GT is a self-contained provider: sales, prep, granite production and installation. No subs. GT worked closely with our contractor (Carlisle Construction: see our review), and the installation went flawlessly, and quickly. Took a day and a half, even with decorative granite incorporated into the shower design. Really, really impressed with the GT granite floor in the shower that has a slight slope towards the center drain that is almost impossible to detect by the feet but works well for draining the water. The flooring also has some decorative, textured granite, to provide a more secure footing. Next year, we'll re-do our other bathroom, and GT will be there for that, for sure! Update Jan 2014: We had Granite Transformations back for a third time, in late 2013, to provide and install new counters and shower floor/walls for our second bathroom. Again, quality work, quality product and a high-five to the installer. We're now done with our upgrades, nothing more to call on GT to do. But we certainly can and will and do recommend GT to others.

Rami and Bruce,, removed the substandard cabinet and installed a new one that is perfect! THIS was the cabinet I paid to have built! Hidden hinges, soft close doors, white finished surfaces inside. In other words, a professional job built the proper way. I would recommend them again, but recommend that YOU pay attention to the details - you'll be happy!!!

Kitchen remodels can be difficult even under the best of circumstances, so timely communication is key to the inevitable delays that are sure to take place. From experience, this was not our first, so some things were assumed...lesson learned. This is not a reflection of the people responsible for the completion of this project and I found Dan (sales), Daniel, Peter and Victor to be extremely competent in delivering on the contract. They also made suggestions that really enhanced the project as well. Everything was chosen in May ensuring a long lead on all that was necessary to complete as was promised; that is 2 days for cabinet refacing and 2 days the following week for countertops. We entered week 3, yes, week 3 without completion waiting on items that were known to them weeks/months ago. Here's what you should know: Any time frames should be multiplied by 2. The operations manager will not call you back or text you for that matter if though I requested several times. The company owner (as I later found out) stopped by to help, but never acknowledged me nor introduced himself. If you have you dark wood cabinets refaced, they don't paint over the side facing. Make sure that is clear from the outset. Communication is key and that could be better. It's the reason they are not rated higher.

While Ryan (who no longer works there) was a wonderful sales person, the countertop is not as durable as they claim. We had it installed in June and it already has several pit marks in the island. Also, the installer did not listen to my wife and did not cut enough holes in the sink for what we wanted for soap dispensers. So we had to call them to come back out and cut another hole. When the installer finally showed up, he was upset with his boss Bruce and took it out on us and cut the hole not in line with the other holes and it is noticeable. When I brought it up to Bruce, he offered to try and correct it, not replace the piece of counter which is the only what to correct it and make it look perfect. So that is why only 4 stars, Should be 3.5. There countertops are not truly as good as they advertise.

I approached their booth at the La Mesa Oktoberfest because I just put in a small counter in the back yard and spent a lot of time researching counter tops. I did not know about this product so asked about relative cost and the guy in the booth just told me that they have a minimum of $1500. That had nothing to do with my questions, I just wanted to compare their product to other options for future projects and either he didn't know or wasn't interested in talking to me.

I had this company install countertops, reface cabinets and install a custom breadboard in July 2023. It was pricey, but the work was OK - except in April of 2024, the breadboard broke - it was still under warranty, so I called to have it repaired. The local franchise who did the work had gone under, so I called the parent company. After three months, three phone calls and 3 emails (two to the Rami who is lauded in another review, who didn't even have the courtesy to reply to my query) - my breadboard is still not repaired and after empty promises that I was 'on the list' for repairs and to be patient, it was finally suggested I hire a local carpenter to come fix it at my own expense. So it you want work done without any guarantee that they will honor their warranty - this is the company for you!

Not sure about their work, but the response time on the front end is really dismal. I sent my dimensions and photos in two weeks ago and was promised response on an initial quote. No response. I continually follow up. They continually tell me they will get me something "today". And then no response until I follow up again. I'm giving up.

Don't hire these crooks three years & job still isn't completed. They've been here twice second time the guy completed one small cabinet between oven & fridge. Rest of the trim in kitchen & main bathroom not done. Master bathroom the sink has been waiting to be installed. If you have problems like I've had be prepared to call Florida DPR, as I'm going to be doing. Owner is more concerned about bad reviews than giving the customer what they've paid for. I would gladly take a refund & hire someone HONEST & RELIABLE.

We had a terrible experience with this company. We didn't do our homework regarding pricing and they turned out to be expensive for what they provided. It took over a month to finish a 3 day job. The installers were very nice. But there were two VERY visible seams in the granite. It took a long time for them to schedule a repair date. They tried sanding them down, but it did not help. They really needed to replace the granite. Of course they didn't want to do that. We didn't demand this (which is our problem) but we shouldn't have been in this situation to begin with. They also didn't allow for the garden window's size and we cannot lower our window shade all of the way to the counter. Their plumber (Airborne Plumbing) was AWFUL. Even if you choose Granite Transformations, get your own plumber. Lastly, read the contract very carefully. Every day we look at our counter and are disappointed.
