We chose GMD based on reviews and competitive price, as well as their willingness to work with our custom design. Mike and team were great to work with and the results ended up beautiful. They let me help design where the seams would go to hide them as much as possible and they turned out very smooth and camouflaged. I also picked where each slab would be cut and placed. I will caution that white quartzite is porous so seal any cut edges or polished faces after drying and before install if possible (e.g. around hole cutouts and under overhangs, seams). They gave me sealer that works awesome and no porousity issues since. They worked with me to fix any issues promptly and that's all you can ask. I love the leathered black granite remnant we used which saved money as well. Oscar and Angela add great customer service and I'm happy overall!

The folks at GMD were great and had a reasonably competitive price. They helped identify an issue with the slab that was sent over from the supplier and quickly got it resolved. They rented a crane to get the slab into our second story kitchen. The installation was done well and professionally. We love the results. And will be using GMD for our next granite projects.

We highly recommend GM&D! David was our initial contact person, and he was always available to answer questions and make sure we were part of the process from beginning to end. When it was time to measure for the countertops, Eric took extra time to draw out the shape I wanted the island to be. Jessie worked with us on seam placement and positioning the cutouts on the slabs. We had one setback when the cutter put the slabs on the cutting machine. He discovered the two quartz slabs provided by the stone supplier had a noticeable variation in color. GM&D notified us right away and contacted the supplier to exchange them for two that matched. This only delayed install a couple of days and we appreciated that they stopped production to make it right. The installers were very professional and took pride in their work. The result is stunning! We could not be happier.

I’m very happy that I worked with GMD for my stone pieces. I initially spoke with David who explained the process and was always available to answer questions. He was patient and helpful when he took me to their remnant yard to find a piece for one vanity. Oscar, who measured for all the pieces, was very knowledgable and friendly and he spent the necessary time taking careful measurements and considering design options. Prior to and during the installation, he was always just a phone call away if anything came up or I had any questions. Angela was great keeping me updated on scheduling. Abimael, the installer, is absolutely incredible. He is very professional and takes great pride in his work. He pays attention to every single detail. He is the ultimate problem solver and came up with solutions to every issue that arose. My project was not as complex as many yet there were still complications and Abimael patiently and thoughtfully addressed them all. He asked for and valued my opinion about things and is a complete pleasure to work with. He worked seamlessly with his assistant and they left my house cleaner than when they arrived. Working with GMD was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

GMD is an outstanding business. From initial contact to project completion, the team was professional, skilled at their work and communicative. I received bids from 12 vendors - and their pricing was very competitive - especially considering the piece of mind knowing you are working with people that are experts and passionate about their work. Angela and Mike were quick to respond and clear communication kept our project on track and accurate. The team that installed did THE BEST job of seaming the stone - it is nearly imperceivable and the edges on waterfalls was perfect. We would recommend GMD for their expertise, communication and ease of process. Thanks to the crew!!!

From the first appointment through the entire process of measuring for perfect fit and installation, I would recommend GMD for the best quality choice of color and materials. GMD has installed 3 different granite kitchens for us. They have always been a pleasure to work with, and very talented. The scan/measure process is very precise and Dalton is very knowledgeable in regards to what is needed. The installers have always been very careful, and helpful. This last install, my husband wasn’t available and the installers helped with extras like moving out appliances, etc. They clean up after themselves, and the granite is always beautifully installed.

This is the company you NEED to design and install your countertops. From finding them to install completion, it was a total of about 2 weeks. Extremely fast. The whole process was very professional, they accomodated us and our schedules with them being closed on weekends, we found a slab we liked, Mike gave us an AMAZING deal on the one slab we loved. The normal projects for these guys seemed to be in the multi million $$$ homes with extravagant designs and huge installs, but our project was very small compared to that. None the less we were still treated like first class clients and I cannot recommend them enough. Template was fast and easy and a week later they were installed in less than 2 hours. Perfect alignment, perfect stenciling. There were so many things that could have gone very wrong had a single measurement not been accurate, but it was precise. We couldn't be happier with the final product and this will be the only company we ever use for anything granite, quartz or quartzite countertop top related. 100 out of 5 stars. I wouldn't even consider another company. This is as good as it gets.

We would highly recommend Granite Marble Designs. They were helpful in getting us the product we wanted. The measure was spot on, the install was professional, informative, friendly, and very tidy. We are so happy with the look. It isn't always easy to get such a great fit in a 50 yr old house.

The show room was well organized and the staff incredibly helpful. Best costumer service I've had in years. The installers were a little messy with caulking the countertop in. The caulking was messy but I can over look that because the showroom help was the best I've experience throughout my entire kitchen remodel.

It was all about the stone. GMD made my new kitchen a reality. Mike and his team were fantastic to work with from the start of the renovation project to the completion. I was so glad I found them. We owned a piece of Marble. GMD picked up the marble, measured for sink cutout and cut down marble to fit vanity. GMD returned with marble and installed countertop and sink. In all aspects from phone coordination to measuring, installing, email communications the 4 different representatives I had contact with were courteous, skilled at their respective jobs and professional. I highly recommend this company. I spent 20 years in construction myself and these folks are good at what they do.

I love Granite & Marble Designs! I had the most seamless experience and the guys I worked with were friendly and helpful. I got the chance to tour their stockyard, worked with them to pick out a sink and faucet, and had them complete the stone edges to my liking. They worked around my schedule, were willing to come when I wasn't home, and completed the job so timely. The island turned out great! I would use them 100% again.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. There was a fabrication error due to poor communication with our sales representative, Jackie. When we called to tell her about the error she refused to take responsibility and blamed it on our incorrect terminology. I am not in the business and I said what I wanted in many different way and she said she understood. After talking with one of the owners, Jack, he said he would take care of the error if he saw the word "corner," we showed him the email where the word corner appeared and he said he would call us back. He never did. We tried contacting them via email and several different phone numbers for over two weeks, and no one would respond. We even tried to go in, but Jack was continuously sick or unavailable. Throughout the whole experience Jackie was terrible at responding, and by no means offered good customer service. In the end my kitchen wasn't finished, and we are having to go elsewhere. Eventually we found out that Jack didn't care to resolve the issue and wrote it off. On their home page they praise themselves saying, "GMD is dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service in addition to a superior product, our associates take pride in their work and customize each project to suit your lifestyle and ideas"; however in my experience there was no customer service and no superior product. I do not know how Jack and his company can say they take pride in their work, given my experience. I would warn anyone from using this company.
