We are currently in a complete house remodel -started in November 2017 so you can imagine how many different vendors we have dealt with. The guys at Genoa Soapstone the smallest vendor we used, private small business is the only way to go!! They allowed me to store my soapstone at their place of business for 5 months. They gave us the most amazing customer service. From quick responses to accurate information and man they are just talented. From listening to my thoughts a complete amateur with nothing but a vision they helped me to attain my dream kitchen, bathroom and fireplace! Done for now but I’ll definitley be using them for all second floor remodels...they are pro’s and really just nice guys!

I'm so grateful I found this place. I stupidly hired a handyman who said he could fabricate and install granite and after months of getting nowhere and making several cuts that made 3 slabs of granite useless I called the professionals at Genoa Soapstone. I had already lost 1000.00 in granite, 3 months of time and another 500 in tools ....so I was desperate to have the new guys be able to do miracles. Thai came over soon after I had called and was very understanding to my situation. He was hopeful they could make things work and just a week later the crew came and did an amazing job. The seams where near invisible and looked better than I dared to hope for. The install only took 3 hours. I wholeheartedly recommend contacting Genoa for any granite work. Competitive prices, elite fabrication skills and awesome communication. You will not be disappointed!

I called looking for marble to replace a bathroom vanity, she said they had two. One of them was perfect, but possibly not large enough. A fabricator did some precise measurements and said it would work. He also explained that they polish the surface in a process called honing which makes it more scratch resistant, though it does loose the shine. Also, the marble is thick enough that it does not require a plywood support underneath. They accommodated my work schedule and had different technicians remove the wall mirror and old counter; template measuring and took one sink. A week or two later it was installed with two under mounted sinks and perfect spacing for my wide spread faucets. All of the work was done by experts and went off without a hitch.

We had them install our countertops for our kitchen. Genoa is awesome from beginning to end of job. They ordered our countertop we picked out at Arizona tile, and they got it delivered to their shop. They were very helpful and clear on their timeline for install. Installers were nice, professional and did the work in a timely manner. Will definitely use again for our bathroom remodel. So many positives with Genoa! They just installed our quartz counters and couldn't be happier. From the beginning they were top notch - always answered the phone, followed through with calls back/emails, etc. Extremely patient/friendly in addressing my many questions. Always honest and clear in communication. Install day went smooth - they were on time and careful in their prep and installation, yet efficient. Our high-end cabinet maker noted that he's seen a lot of installs done...and said Genoa's quality and craftsmanship, especially around the sink, edges, and seams was a high quality job, which is rare to find. They definitely pay attention to detail in their craftsmanship. I really can't say enough positive things about the staff. Truly everyone from Thai, Ben, Stan, and the entire install team was so friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and professional. They are genuinely good humans and quality craftsman! They demonstrated time and time again that they really want what's best for their customers and bent over backwards to take care of us!

My husband and I selected this company based on YELP reviews. We were going to check out several places but Genoa was the first place we went. Tai explained all their products and options in their little showroom. We did not feel any sales pitch pressure and actually decided on beautiful Quartz for our kitchen counters right then. From demolition to installation we got very professional service and beautiful quality counter tops. Francisco, Gilbert and Kevin worked very hard removing old tile and then installing. John the owner came to oversee and help with the installation. I am looking forward to using Genoa again. If I could give more stars I would. They deserve it. Thank you all for a job well done.

We wanted soapstone counters. We have an old house and the kitchen is rather small. We went to Arizona Tile and there you have to buy the whole slap which we didn't need. We found Genoa Soapstone and stopped in. There you don't have to buy the whole slap which brought the price down. We were very happy. David at Genoa was great to work with. Even though we had a small kitchen they didn't treat us any different than if we were doing a large kitchen. They have a passion for soapstone and it shows. On install day they were very professional and explained everything as they were installing. They also took the time to show us how to oil the stone and care for it. They also said if we had had questions to please call them so they could assist us. We are thinking of some more projects and will definitely call them again.

Genoa was amazing to work with from start to finish. First - the soapstone is gorgeous, and we love it. David was great - he helped us choose our slab, answered countless questions, adjusted our scheduling when our remodel was running behind, and in general provided excellent customer service. Thai was also very helpful - he helped answer all of our questions during the measuring process. Our installer was excellent - he did a beautiful job and was super communicative and helpful in making sure everything was done exactly as I wanted. In all the people we've had come through during this renovation - Genoa was a standout. We'd use them again in a heartbeat!

David was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He provided excellent customer service... he was patient, flexible and always answered all of my questions. We have had a great experience working with Genoa Soapstone. They provided our Cambria countertops for our kitchen, marble countertop for our Robern bathroom vanity and soapstone for our fireplace. We worked with Thai and was very pleased with the entire process. Communication was excellent. He stopped by a few times to confirm field measurements. There were no surprises- we knew exactly what would be installed- edge details, seam locations, overhang dimensions, layout of the slabs were all discussed prior to the installation and everything was installed beautifully. We had Genoa Soapstone make our soapstone counter top and I can say that we are extremely happy with the job they did. John was very responsive and easy to get a hold of. It was clear when he and Ty came to do the template that they knew what they were doing. We weren't the simplest customers with our wanting flush counter top edges, recessed support brackets and a flush mounted stove top, but they did all of these perfectly and didn't once complain (at least to us :) ) about the extra detail work---they even were kind enough to say that they enjoyed having a project that required extra attention. They say that they can turn around a counter top in about a week after template, but they were back for installation in a week! The stone was very heavy (over 800 pounds), but their crew brought it up the stairs and installed it with great care for our house and the stone itself. The installation was done very well and looked incredible. It was nice working with a team that really takes pride in their work, and, of course, it is great that we get to reap the benefits of a beautiful counter fabricated by craftspeople that take their craft seriously. As a final touch, they cleaned up their work to near-perfection. There is really nothing more we could have asked for this experience and would recommend them very highly!

We had Genoa replace all of the countertops and vanity tops in our home in Sacramento with two different varieties of soapstone. The fabrication of the stone was perfect - the pieces were precisely cut and the seams are nearly invisible. In addition, the entire crew took great care during the installation to avoid damaging existing surfaces. They also took extra time to clean up the residual dust that resulted from tearing out our existing ceramic tile surfaces. In addition, our new cooktop is perfectly level - which we have never had in any other kitchen! The staff are extremely knowledgeable about the stone that they sell and how to care for it. Our finished project exceeds our expectations and we highly recommend Genoa Soapstone without reservation!

I can't say enough about these guys. They were awesome to work with and my counter and backsplash look amazing. John, the owner, arrived the day after my initial phone call to give me an estimate. He verbally told me the cost, but then sent me a written estimate via email that night. I've found this is rare among the construction industry. Usually, they'll take forever getting you an estimate, then it'll only be given verbally. I originally choose a slab of marble at Medimer and John scheduled to pick it up before my job. When he arrived at my house to make the counter template, we got to talking and I decided I wanted a thicker slab. John told me that was no problem, gave me his revised quote and made some phone calls to find one. He then told me that he'd return the slab from Medimer and I could go choose a thicker one. I had NO idea he had already picked up the other slab! He didn't even make a fuss about going to the trouble to return it and pick up the new one. VERY professional and kind, in my opinion. The crew arrived on time and were really nice and professional. I originally hired them to install my counter only, but I ended up hiring them to add the tile backsplash as well, and they got it done the day after the counter installation. I've already scheduled them to install my tile floors and they'll start next week. I can't recommend Genoa enough.
