The company's mission is improving the quality and efficiency of countertop service for private and public buildings. They work exclusively with both natural and man-made stones. As a countertop fabricator, installer, and finisher, the team is dedicated to offering only the finest quality to our valued customers. A family runs this countertop business out of their home in Templeton, CA. Ben Barragan, the owner, comes from a long line of stonemasons. In the early 1900s, his great-grandfather was a mason in Santa Barbara, where he worked with block and brick. Working in some of California's most opulent residences alongside seasoned experts in Santa Barbara, Ben received extensive education and training that enabled him to become a countertop expert.

Ben and his crew were professional in every way. Their work is precise and their attention to detail is excellent. If you are looking to remodel or are building new, his fabrication prices are the best. He goes the extra mile to make sure everything is right. He was very helpful in explaining differences in thickness and materials. I accidentally chipped my countertop with a cast iron skillet. I didn’t know if it was something that could be fixed. I contacted Epic Stone and Ben sent his employee to my house soon after. Ralph did a fabulous job fixing the chip. When I got home I had a hard time finding where the spot was that’s he fixed because the repair was that good. I highly recommend Epic Stone! They do beautiful work and are their customer service is too notch!

Epic Stone came recommended by everyone we talked to when we began our kitchen remodel and now we understand why. They finished a countertop replacement yesterday where we replaced old granite countertops with new quartzite. In addition to a change in stone, we also added some features like stone windowsills details, a stone backsplash and shelf behind the oven, and a waterfall edge on the peninsula. The process was ideal from start to finish. Ben was responsive and always very helpful. He listened to what we wanted and made suggestions and gave us options to get a finished product we are thrilled about. They went the extra mile to make our house livable between demo and installation. His team was friendly to my whole family (including the dog). We have worked with a handful of vendors during our remodel and Epic Stone stood out for the experience working with them and the finished product. I would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for stone work.

I cannot say enough about Ben and his amazing crew. Over 7 years since the first job they did for us, and the high level of services and craftsmanship is unmatched. Our countertops are beautiful and completely exceeded our expectations. But more than that, Ben provides a service from start to finish that truly makes your project smooth sailing. He gives great recommendations for finding the perfect material. This kind of project can be overwhelming especially for people like us who don't know anything about it. He helped us from start to finish and never got annoyed with me and my 61376237 emails. Everyone on his crew that came into our home was so nice and personable. It was a pleasure to meet them all. Ben even surprised us with a trivet he made out of our leftover material which was such a cool surprise. Great family owned business that I will recommend to everyone always. Thanks again!

Ben came over today to grind the edges of our quartz counters, where the range slides in. The original installer made it just a bit too narrow, so the guys quickly, cleanly and efficiently took care of it. The job was perfect, and they took great care to keep the kitchen clean and dust free. I will definitely be calling Epic whenever I need another job done, and will also refer them to my friends and neighbors....thanks guys!

So we did our fair share of hunting for granite and fabricators while doing our kitchen remodel, then we talked with Ben from Epic Stone. Ben was totally honest and shot us a quote based off of our measurements. We jumped on the quote and he had the granite we picked out delivered to his shop. Within a week he was at our house doing the templates, now three weeks later we have the most incredibly beautiful Black Zimbabwe Flamed Granite counter tops. I'm sure everyone who is looking for remodeling professionals would agree that good communication is the number one priority. As well as being incredible craftsmen, Ben and Ralph are great listeners and are very responsive. I've never worked with a contractor who calls if he's going to be 15 minutes late! They seem to enjoy what they're doing, and the result is better than my highest expectation!

I wish they had a more than five stars review. We had a very large crack in our kitchen granite counter top. It was a half of an inch wide and about thirty inches long. The granite we chose is no longer available and we have it throughout the house. Ben and his helper came to our house in Cambria and with much effort repaired it so you cannot see it at all. He matched the epoxy's color and recalked the sink beautifully. It's wonderful to find fine craftsmen who take great pride in their work. And he's a nice guy on top of it all. I left my number with him if he needed a referral. We could not be more pleased.
