BEWARE of Distinctive Granite. We had them do the stone when we remodeled our kitchen over two years ago. We had problems from the on-set with fit/finish and we tried for over two years to get them to make it right. They sent crews out three times, but the problem was never corrected. The reason I am writing this now is that I wanted to allow them time to make it right, which they did not. They were NOT responsive to emails in a timely fashion though we were very patient and persistent in our communication to them. We eventually paid out of pocket to have a young man who has worked with stone for years and now has his own business come out and repair them and he did an exquisite job. Distinctive could have easily had him come out (it only took about five hours) but they did not. It is also good to note that Distinctive owns the local warehouse, so they are making bank on you when you use them versus another retailer—all the more reason it is disheartening that they did not come out and make this right. If they had, I would not be writing this and could have written a positive review. Unfortunately, I don’t know enough about other companies to recommend one, however, I can strongly suggest you do yourself favor and avoid this company at all lengths.

Do not waste your time, effort or money on this company. We had a slab installed for our kitchen island, which we did not pick out, It was installed and it was cracked directly down the middle, and was tried to cover up with epoxy. We've have tried multiple times to have the issue addressed; but phone calls are never returned. Only very begrudgingly; did someone come out and look at the slab, and their statement is "Oh, it's supposed to be like that". Well, as a builder and remodeler for over 30 years; I can say that we've never seen one like it, or the complete lack of customer service. Our next course of action is to seek legal help with the issue. We are are extremely disappointed with not only this company; but with AGM Importers which supplies them with the granite. If you are looking for a granite countertop for your home, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere

It was a pleasure working with them and would definitely recommend them to anyone remodeling or building. Miguel was awesome. There were no delays...no issues at all. I opted for quartz that have the look of marble. Beyond stunning in my little 1942 house!
