Wow! I cannot believe the great job Mr. Jesus and his crew did in my mothers kitchen. Even though Diamond Granite has a 5 star rating, I've found in the past, on many occasions, that a 5 star reviews in this area, does not usually equal the average 5 star review you may be used to on Google. Well let me say this, this young entrepreneur takes his profession very seriously. Jesus is a consummate professional in the art of stone installation. He was knowledgeable, patient, kind, and was more concerned about our satisfaction with the job, than making a sale. I have had stone countertops installed in many homes in the past and this experience may have just nudged out my best experience by a nose, or maybe a little more than a nose. After we decided which stone we wanted, Jesus advised us that the stone would be delivered in a day or two and he offered us the opportunity to look at the whole slab once delivered, in order to make sure we were happy with that particular choice. His concern was that he would cut the slab to fit and we might not like it as much as when we saw the smaller sample slab. This is the first time I've experienced this type of offer and concern when dealing with purchasing new counters. Usually it's, thats what you want, we'll be there on such and such a date for installation. We stuck with the final stone we picked but it was nice to get a look at the whole stone once it was delivered, just to make sure. Oh yeah, at some point Jesus advised us that our total price was actually about $200 cheaper than expected because we picked a final stone that was slightly cheaper than the first one. He didn't have to do this as we assumed they were the same price, how's that for integrity? During the installation, the crew was kind, professional, clean and very conscious of the items around them. At one point, when they removed the sink, a few drops of water spilled on the floor. It was expected as they had to remove the sink and it was only a few drops. One of the crew advised the other that some water spilled and it was quickly wiped up and an apology was given. My mother laughed and said to me, it was only a few drops and I have tile floors, its okay, they didn't have to apologize. Jesus seems to only hire the best installers on his crews and thats greatly appreciated. In the end, there was one small item I didn't quite make sure was included and had to order that after the fact. Jesus placed the order (a grate for the sink), and advised it would arrive the following week. I was concerned because my mother doesn't drive and I was heading out of town for a few weeks. This would mean she might have to wait a while to retrieve the grate. Jesus told me not to worry, that he would deliver the grate personally so that she didn't have to wait. Jesus is very busy and his shop is about 30 minutes away from my mothers house, yet, to make sure we were 110% happy with all aspects of his service, he's going to take time out of his busy day to deliver the grate to my mother! In the end, I don't believe 5 stars is enough but thats all I got to give per Google reviews. It doesn't matter, I think my point has been made. I'm not trying to take business from anyone else but I have to say one last thing, we the people work hard for our money and take great pride in our homes. The service you receive should be exactly what you expect. If you want a beautiful job and to save yourself a few bucks in the process of getting new countertops, please check out this locally owned and operated, family business. Don't go to the big box stores and get countertops, they're just going to hire someone else to do it and you're going to pay way more. Keep small businesses that actually care in business, hire Diamond Granite for your next countertop/stone work job.
