From the moment we walked into the Cutting Edge store, we were greeted by a friendly hello. Then directed to an associate who asked the right questions, because we really didn't know what questions we needed to ask. She then led us to view the different slabs made with different material. She explained the difference between natural stone and man-made and how each would wear and react to how I wanted to use it. I found a natural stone that was beautifully unique and very reasonably priced. The associate I originally started with left for a different position somewhere else, but the associate who then took over our account was equally qualified and as helpful and friendly. The young men who came to install the countertop were friendly, polite, respectful and professional. They did an absolute fantastic job. Our countertop is a beautiful addition that sets off our kitchen. Thank you, thank you to the whole team of Cutting Edge Countertop! It was definitely a great experience.

We had such an great experience with everyone at Cutting Edge. Andrea was my point person at the show room who I picked out my slabs with and coordinated the entire process for us. She answered all of my questions and was always a phone call away if I needed anything from start to finish. Michelle helped with our cad layout which I highly recommend for any granite pieces. That let me pick areas of the slab that I didn't want in our main traffic areas and exclude some small areas of the slab altogether. Ethan and Andrew installed our countertop and did an amazing job. They were very friendly and the seams look fantastic. They all were a real pleasure to work with. I have some of the finished project posted here. It looks amazing!!!

The selection of granite was amazing. The price was below other countertop shops in the area as I shopped around prior to purchasing. The insulation was amazingly quick and I was truly impressed with the beauty of my purchase. I never expected the outcome to be breath taking as this was not the first time I put in a new kitchen throughout my history of owning a house. We used Cutting Edge Countertops for our kitchen remodel. Purchased the counters through Home Depot and Cutting Edge is their installers. We could not be happier with the whole experience. Cutting Edge was prompt in calling us to set up a measure date and an install date. On the day of installation the installers arrived 2 hours early and called us approximately 30 minutes before to let us know they were on their way. The installers were professional, courteous and thorough. The lead installer took the time to answer our questions, explain the installation process and advise us on how to maintain the quartz countertop. From the beginning to end Home Depot and Cutting Edge Countertops delivered an excellent product! Thank you Gary and Cole for a professional installation.

We used Cutting Edge Countertops (CEC) through our main general contractor then redoing our whole kitchen after a big flood in 2017. During the original installation, we ran into some issues with the color due to the sample not having been labelled properly by the stone supplier. CEC stood by there product and replaced the whole countertop and huge island without having to argue. Earlier this year we saw a crack forming on the large island countertop, on one of the inner corners for the cooktop. We eventually called the general contractor and were referred directly to CEC who was the supplier at the time. CEC sent one of his technician on site to inspect the issue. I was actually expecting maybe some kind of repair to prevent further damage or something similar. The technician told me that this was beyond repair and was going back to his office to report and discuss the issue. I got a call one week later from them to ask me when we could schedule a visit for the replacement! They decided to stand by their product and replace the whole unit. They came to do the installation today and did an impressive job. They even helped me to replace my fan and cooktop to make sure that everything would fit right! Impressive aftersale service! Would recommend anytime.

My kitchen is being remodeled by Lowe's and it's been a nightmare. One of the very, very few bright spots in the whole mess has been Cutting Edge. They're professional, helpful, courteous, and when Lowe's has delayed things over and over again they've gone out of their way to reschedule to my convenience. Their scheduler Sydnee is phenomenal. The sections of countertop they've been able to complete so far are just beautiful. Totally recommend.

We shopped for countertops for 2 years and could never really find the perfect design for a price we could live with. It took us all of about 1/2 hr start to finish with Cutting Edge. Called last week for an estimate and had a few questions before deciding to go to the store in person. I was told the sales person was busy and would return my call Later that day....No one ever called me back. Since then I have checked the BBB site and there are several complaints pertaining to them not standing behind their products or installation work! Unfortunately, there is a lot of passing the buck and playing the blame game, and consumers "misinterpreting guarantees" in order to get out making things right as they should have done. So, needless to say, I will not be using them for my new bathroom countertops.

My experience with Cutting Edge Countertops has been quite a disappointment. I do not recommend them, especially for any large custom work on an estate home. Their installers did an abysmal and sloppy job. Cutting Edge Countertops even made a mistake in measuring and fabricating one of the quartz pieces which caused another delay in installation. They left a huge mess in my kitchen and outside. They did a horrific hack job in cutting out the custom support for one of our islands. They had no template for cutting out the hole for the sink they were supposed to install. They did not measure one of my pieces correctly and made a poor cut onsite so they had to take it back to get re-fabricated which caused yet another 2 weeks delay. They also rushed their work and left one of my island pieces unleveled and I alerted the management about this but they refused to acknowledge it. In less than 2 weeks, that same island countertop of concern was loose and shifted when a guest of mine leaned on it. The countertop moved more than 1.5 inches. Cutting Edge Countertops did not install the island countertop correctly, safely, and securely. When they are onsite, they do not look at the job holistically and notify you about any issues. On their second visit to install, the workers did not call out and suggested that the supporting top to be trimmed back a few inches. The installers placed and glued a quartz countertop section but allowed the underlying support to show. I had to spend additional time and money to correct and trim back the wood support so that it would not show. This unnecessary work could have been avoided if their installers had enough intelligence to see this and simply ask to trim back to ensure a good and beautiful end result. If you value quality work and craftsmanship do not expect to get that kind of service from this company. Their sales manager, David S., told me I should not worry about the bad-cutting job their workers did because the countertop would hide their hack job. I have a beautiful old mansion that I am renovating and I take pride in making sure that the craftsmanship from the inside, underside, and outside of my cabinets and kitchen look beautiful. I was taken aback by their lack of empathy and respect for my home. It was like telling me that I should not worry if they installed bad rusty pipes and old hoses in my vintage classic Mercedes car because when I closed the hood no one would see the flaws. I asked for them to make it right through either a discount or working with me to give me a tabletop using the damaged now remnant piece from their shoddy work. The manager flat-out said no. Cutting Edge Countertops want your money upfront before they perform and install the countertops. They will attempt to fix an issue but they will not go above and beyond to make you a satisfied customer. They do not provide quality work. Again I stress do not work with this company save yourself the headache and stress stay away from Cutting Edge Countertops.

Cutting Edge sub contracts thru home depot, Terrible company to have in your home. If you need them to come out to fix the so called installation that they improperly installed they don't answer the phone or call you back. Home depot wont reply to their poor workmanship either. I hired this company to complete all the kitchen counter tops, bathroom countertops and full slab master shower in a new home that was built for me and paid them over 50,000 in 2020 and to this date my job is not completed. NO MORE COVID EXCUSE, they did not cut the slabs for the shower per the approved photos and drawings. the shower walls were reversed and didn't match up. on installing them they had gaps 1/4" and filled with calk because they did not level first slab installed. they would not measure the master shower until the stainless steel frame work was installed for the shower seat. we had that installed and cutting edge came out and lasered the measurement of the shower and seat . the seat did not fit they won't take responsibility for it and 2YEARS LATER I still don't have the seat completed , so we are with a shower that cannot be used. we have moved into the house and can't get these people to make this right with us . NEVER would I use them again. next I will send this to the customer protection department of the attorney generals office and the better business bureau. I placed an order for quartz countertop $4400. First of all cutting edge countertops did not let me see the slab since according to this business you can see any slab except quartz. Cutting edge installed our countertops on 8/19/2020. A few days later I noticed that they installed the wrong quartz countertop. I purchased Stonemark quartz and color was Calacatta Vicenza with Matte Finish. Instead Cutting edge installed Belenco quartz and color was 6114 Belluno. There's also website markings all over my countertop. I called Shelby and she insisted that this was the right quartz. She said the reason it was a different product was because the name changes between companies due to naming rights. Beware this company sells you a product and they manufacture whatever they want. Cutting edge countertop also fail to install my countertop properly. The countertop has a series of deficiencies such as: website markings, damages, marks, several gaps between the countertop and the wall, and the countertop is not proportional (ex. the right side appears to be smaller. I called Shelby again and they made an appointment to send someone to take a look at my countertop. The day of the appointment Justin asked me to reschedule the appointment for morning instead of afternoon. He said that he was ordered to remove the website markings from my countertop and that he needed a morning appointment instead. I was under the impression that precision countertop was going to send someone to take a look at my countertop and damages and they were going to tell me what options I had to get it resolved. I called Shelby once again and explained to her my concerns. Shelby lied about our conversation and she said I refused to let Justin in my house. I received an email a few hours later that said I had already signed the contract at the day of installation and that they were not going to fix anything. As of today 12/16/2020 cutting edge countertops is still refusing to fix my countertops. This company is extremely dishonest and shady beware.

I purchased our countertop from our local Lowes store and installation was include in the square foot pricing. Purchase went ok and within a few weeks a representative came and measured the template. Only a couple weeks later they came to install the countertop on 6/4/2019. As the first piece was carried into the home I noticed the first mistake with the countertop. The slab that had our utility sink cut out, had the hole cut incorrectly by 90 degrees . Sink is not center over the cabinet plus all pumping was now incorrect located. While I was explaining this issue to the one installer, the other installer old me that was the least of the issues with countertop. The main section of the countertop is shaped like an L with two areas that went up into the window wells. From the template the two window wells were not milled to the correct thickness and now could not be installed all the same level without other work first being done to level. Apparently incorrect info from the template. Was given two options on that section. One would be to build up cabinets to match heights. Take off the 1/4" shims I was told to install and build up main cabinets with 3/4" shimming. Advised by installers not to do. Second option was to install countertop on cabinet but install window wells up 1/2 inch higher. Not what was paid to have done. I took pictures and went to Lowes while it was being installed and told that my project manager was out on vacation for a week and they could not do anything except send pictures to Cutting Edge. Was told by installers I would receive a call by days end out the issues with installation since he had communicated to them the issues. Never received call. When I went to install the faucet I found the third issue. They had not cut the faucet opening large enough to mount it and had to get the diameter of hole increased. I never received a call from Cutting Edge or Lowes Manager that week. I had to continually to call the manager for a few days every hour until I caught her at her desk and off the phone. Cutting Edge was just as bad. Once I got hold of them they told be they were un-ware there was any issues. It took three weeks to get someone to our home to re-drill the faucet opening, and 60 days dealing with both organizations who would not return calls or emails. During that 60 day period my project manager from Lowes which is located in Indianapolis Indiana only responded to two emails and only one phone call. The one email was to tell me all had been resolved and at that time the only thing fixed was the hole size. She confessed she never read any of the emails about the other two main issues. After a long call I was told I could receive a compensation check for the issues. A number was set and told a check could be picked up at my local Lowes store. When I went the day I was told to be there, they had no clue what I was there for. I had brought the email from her on date and amount. They called her office only to be told she was not working in that position anymore. My local store had me come back a different day and did reimbursed me the amount and they would work with a manager to get reimbursed from Cutting Edge. I kept a daily log of every email or phone call made. All dates and times. Will never purchase anything at Lowes that they are in charge of installation and will never use Cutting Edge ever again. This was some of the worse customer service I have ever had and apparently the owners or mangers at both organizations do not care either.

I may have recommended this company had we received our countertops the day we were scheduled to. We ordered our countertops through Lowe's. The template and install was supposed to happen Monday, June 3rd. As both my boyfriend and myself work full-time jobs, we wouldn't be home for the installation. I asked my father to be there when they were installing. After no communication through Lowe's or Cutting Edge, the installation crew shows up with no one is at our home. They call my boyfriend at his work and he gives them the code to get inside, and he tells them my father will be there within 10 minutes. He calls him back two minutes later to tell them we need to reschedule because the sink was not unhooked. No one from Cutting Edge or Lowe's told us this information. My father also happens to be a 30 year veteran plumber/pipe fitter. As I could understand the liability, to not even wait for someone to get there and leave within five minutes is completely unprofessional. However, I could accept this was a miscommunication and move on. As of today, the 4th, we have tried contacting our project manager, Samantha, FIVE times to reschedule and DID NOT get a hold of a single person. I completely understand things happen but to not get back and reschedule a project after we already have paid in full is completely unacceptable. They also want to charge us $200.00 to come back out to install because of the sink. I would absolutely never recommend going through this company. In all honesty, I would rather return the whole purchase and go through another dealer. I would pay the money and spend more time waiting for another company than to go through Cutting Edge or Lowe's.

I hired Cutting Edge countertops to put in my quartz countertops and cooktop through Home Depot and I am very dissatisfied they misrepresented what they said they were going to do and the final product didn't turn out anywhere near what it was supposed to . The counter for my cooktop, billed to me as a 3.5 foot square section with a hole in the center for which I was charged additional, arrived in 4 sections that were pieced together with 4 seams on both sides of my cooktop. After speaking with both Home Depot and Cutting Edge, the end result has not changed. I was told that there was no other way to make this countertop and no additional offer for resolution was given by either company. The one-piece counter for my cooktop that I paid an additional cost for was made in 4 seperate pieces allowing the company to save money, while I paid extra for a finished product that looks like a Lego puzzle around my cooktop. Very unprofessional. After being passed back and forth between the two companies, I am still left with the poor workmanship and an unacceptable countertop. After coming out and measuring the countertops in what seemed to be a very efficient manner we were excited to get our new counter tops installed. They ended up rescheduling the install multiple times for no ther reason than "they are too busy" with no apology to be heard. Finally they come to install and turn around and leave because our sink was still connected. (There was 3 other counter surfaces to install not touching the sink and they had rescheduled 3 times) We get the sink disconnected and they come back 5 hours later. They do the install and scratch up the newly painted kitchen walls and irreparably scrape the brand new cabinet as well. Then the hole for the kitchen sink is cut to the wrong size so we have the expense of purchasing a new sink that wasn't in the budget. They still have not responded to any of the damage or the wrong size sink issue for more than a week. They were recommended by Lowe's when we purchased our cabinets hopefully Lowe's will not continue to use them.

This company is one I wouldn't recommend to any family member or friends from the local area. There staff has no experience, no direction, the company itself is ran by people that I question their experience in actually running a company. I was interested in having my kitchen, and 3 bathroom counters done, after an estimate, I wouldn't trust their employees in my home and after speaking with an office employee about my feelings, I felt even worse because they spoke to me with a rude attitude and not one person could answer any questions. Needless to say, we ended up going with GREENWORKS and couldn't have been happier with the amazing job they did and their customer service was nothing like Cutting Edge (which was seriously horrible). I always like to use local companies, however, cutting edge doesn't live up to the name.

Be Careful! They warranty the installation of plumbing for 7 whole days! Yes...that's how confident they are in their workmanship! "It'll be great for a week! We guarantee it!"" HAHAHAHAHAHA. Really??? And they claim that is 4 whole days better than the industry standard...way to reach for it guys! "Our work lasts 4 days better!" HAHAHAHAHAHA

I had a very bad experience recently with this vendor. The staff doesn't know granite from marble and they led me to believe the piece I had selected was granite. I wasn't allowed to pick the specific slab and they installed the wrong stone on my kitchen countertops, marble instead of granite, which also came with a damaged chip. Gary, one of the managers, told me that it's an "industry standard" that material is expected to have some damage and didn't even offer a discount. They fixed it two weeks later but the chip is still visible. Overall, I would NOT recommend this vendor as I feel they handled the situation in the most unprofessional way and I felt very frustrated. For future work I would always choose Universal Marble and Granite on Holiday Ln. in Perrysburg, they have a much more professional and competent staff.

I purchased kitchen countertops through Home Depot over a month ago. They work with Cuttling Edge Countertops. All interactions with Home Depot were professional while all interactions with Cutting Edge Countertops have been quite a struggle. I hope Home Depot can get me out of working with Cutting Edge Countertops and get me with someone else. 1. THEY ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS: When they called to set up an appointment for measuring, I missed the call and when I called back I kept being directed to different people's voicemails. I left messages but had to call about 5 times to get to talk to someone other than a rather rude receptionist. They took long to set up an appointment to come measure and even longer to call home depot with the measurements. Their appointment system is very inconvenient. They can only come on workdays and regular work hours but they can't confirm in advance. They tell you a date and then the evening before they tell you a four-hour window when they will come. Lastly, on the day of measurment the technician calls you when s/he is half an hour away from your home. When they came to measure, I got a call form the person who was coming and then it wasn't even within that 4-hour window. Home depot and I have had to call several times and I still do not have an appointment for installation. They called once and left a voice message. I returned the call and left a message and never heard back. I just called back and it is over a month and I still do not know when they are coming to install. 2. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL: The receptionist was not collaborative (I am foreign born and accented but I am a professor at a Research 1 institution and publish my research in English. Crucially, I do not have any problems with anyone understanding me on the phone than this receptionist!). After spelling my name her response was: I did not understand a word you said. Then she passed me on to someone's voicemail. I called back and tried to speak to someone else but she seems to be the only receptionist. She was rude, non-collaborative and I still do not know when they are coming. I asked to speak to a manager but she said he was out to lunch. I just hope I can get out of working with them.

I took a day off work and went to Cutting Edge Countertops on November 4th. With help of salesman Robert I picked out a very nice Fusion remnant piece for $35/sq ft (great price since non-remnant for same stone is $200/sq ft). I was told that they would hold it for me until Tuesday Nov. 8th so that I could see how a sample looks in my office before purchasing. I called there on Monday and was told that Robert was no longer working there but was assured by representative Mike Hayes that he would take care of me. I told him that I wanted to buy the Fusion remnant. He said no problem and on Tuesday Nov. 8th he emailed me a final quote. He then said I had to pick out an edge. He emailed me my choices the same day and and I replied via email that day the edge I wanted and that I definitely wanted the Fusion piece. I then contacted a retailer and special ordered $1500 worth of stone and glass backsplash to match the Fusion remnant I thought I just bought. I was expecting a call from Mike to get my credit card information. That is when the communication from Mike Hayes stopped. On Tuesday November 15th I called Mike and he told me; "I don't know how to tell you this but the Fusion remnant we sold you had previously been sold to someone else." I told Mike that no one ever gave me any indication that the Fusion piece was not available. He apologized. I told him that I have $1500 worth of special order backsplash to match that I can not return. He apologized again. I told him that it was not my fault that they double sold the same piece and that I expect them to deliver on what they agreed. He said he could offer me $35 off a different piece of granite! I explained to him that I would have to take 3 hours off work and I still have the backsplash that matches the Fusion. I then asked him if I could speak to his supervisor. He said that he would talk to them and call me back on Wednesday the 16th, but he was sure the $35 was their best offer. By Friday I still had not received a call. I called him and left him a voicemail to call me. By Tuesday, November 22, I still had not heard from him so I called him again. When I spoke to him he said he talked to his supervisor and they agree that $35 is the best they can do. I told him again that it is not my fault that they double sold the same item and I expect them to deliver on the agreement. Mike told me; "That's not the way it works in this business." He also told me; "You can't expect us to order another slab of that in for your small order." I told him I don't care how he gets it, they made an offer to me to purchase and I emailed them back that I want it. They don't seem to care about that.
