They also were perfectionists when it came to details of the job. Also cleaned up after completion of their work. Corey and Shane both did a great job installing our counters. They were both punctual efficient with their time great conversationalist, which goes a Long way, considering there in our home talking to us while doing their work makes it feel more personable service. They got the counters installed very quickly and less time than I imagined as well as the sink got everything set and made sure I was comfortable with everything before they left. I would highly recommend this company and when it comes to the people installing your counters, I would recommend asking for Cory and Shane. They are awesome.

They are excellent communicators and everything they told me every step of the way happened exactly like they said it would. This was my first kitchen remodel and I wanted to be thorough, so I checked here in addition to all the box stores. Yes, there are a few select styles at box stores that cost less, but most were about the same price. Cutting Edge definitely had the most quartz options/samples to compare and choose from. The customer service was excellent. The ordering and scheduling team was very prompt and accurate. The gentleman who came to measure was later than my scheduled window, but it was still the same day. He was very thorough and consultative, which is what I needed not knowing much about countertops and quartz. The countertops were installed quickly (20 minutes) and easily. As soon as they were installed, the rep I'd been working with called to ensure I was happy and had no questions or concerns. They look great and I am extremely happy with the final product.

Surface Encounters really did a fantastic job on our kitchen and bathroom granite counter tops. The installers called ahead of time, were prompt and professional. Melissa B. was extremely helpful and very patient with us when we were trying to decide what color/type of stone to purchase. She also gave us a great deal, the other competitors we shopped gave significantly higher quotes on roughly the same materials. Overall great experience, we definitely recommend SE and will use them on future renovations. A++++++++

Our experience with cutting edge was great. Jessie was super helpful and patient with how indecisive we were. Getting someone out to measure took the longest (couple weeks) but after they measured they were there the next week to install. They don't give specific times they will be there to measure or install which is a little frustrating but they call about 20 mins before or more if you ask. The guys that did our install were very nice and answered all my questions. Overall great experience and I'll be suggesting them to others!

I would buy from surface encounters again and again. Great products,They did not pressure me, gave me samples to take home. The sales lady Melissa was great and easy to work with. Installation was fast and done professionally, I really enjoyed the gentleman who measured the job and he also was there to install. all three guys were very nice, and answered all my questions, and was fun to talk with, very polite. The plumber, was great also, I have no complaints. will be buying my bathroom counters from them also.

Great products and choices. They have all kinds of granite, quartz and tile available for home design. Prices are very competitive as well. The sales staff are friendly and knowledgable. Installation was adequate. The guy who measured our kitchen as well as the 2 installers were grumpy/non cordial, and just seemed miserable overall. That would be my only complaint. It's a shame that many people that serve and work for the public can't be a little more cheerful. I get tired of creepy and mean acting people. There is just no reason to have such a pretentious and generally bad attitude. I know the bottom line is that I always hope the job is performed completely and properly, but the spirit in which it is done is just as important !

Buyer Beware! This company does not stand by their installation. We encountered so many problems with CuttingEdge, it is difficult to even list them all. First of all, they require FULL payment for the products and installation before they will even order the materials. So of course, there is no recourse when things go badly. Every company makes mistakes now and then. The real test is in how they handle these mistakes and make the customer happy. Buying this product is a major expense and not one that most people will repeat . You want it to be right. Ours will never be correct and they refused to fix the situation. When we contracted CE for our kitchen counters the system in place for measurements, order and install sounded seamless. It wasn't. After the laser measure, there was a significant delay before our material was ordered. In this period of time, our chosen quartz became unavailable. Having a move in date set for the house we were buying, we chose another style so work could be finished before we moved in. An appointment was made for made for install, only to be cancelled the morning of. The next scheduled day for installation arrived with a time of between 8 and 10 am for work to commence. The installers arrived at 3 o'clock! During installation the counters were installed unlevel. Silicone was left on the countertop which gave the impression of unfinished polishing. This is poor cleanup. Silicone was also sprayed on a wall which could not be removed with any industrial cleaners. That wall required painting by us. The quartz seams were not lined up well and left an unevenness to the counters. A ragged counter edge was left with no attempts to repair. Plumbing was ripped out of the wall instead of being disconnected or cut. This required a $450 repair which was not reimbursed by CE for 3 months! Every issue required multiple phone calls. Often we were passed on to somebody else who either could not fix the problem or failed to even respond. One representative that we worked with said that he felt the entire job needed to be redone. That idea must have fallen on deaf ears because it never went anywhere. Sadly, I am left to live with this work that cost me over $7000. Buyer Beware!!! This review is from Nashville, Indiana. They took our money to install countertops but 2 hours later canceled due to COVID concerns. It's been over a month but still no install. It has been impossible to get a hold of them and no one returns calls. I understand rescheduling for the safety of the employees but at least return calls!! Never will use again.

In April 2018 my husband and I went to Lowe's and purchased new cabinets, appliances and countertops for our new kitchen renovation. In May I was diagnosed with cancer. In August after undergoing surgery and weeks of radiation treatments we were able to resume our kitchen project. We went to the store in Greenwood IN to approve the granite, it was absolutely perfect. My husband called them on Friday to set an appointment for them to come to our home and measure for the install. Four days later their sales representative Echo called my husband and said we would not be able to use the granite we picked out because they only had 30 square feet and we needed 50. They probably should have let us know before we drove 2 hours one way. I immediately contacted her boss Samantha who said they had a piece in the Noblesville store and promised they would hold it until I approved it. Yesterday morning I drove 2 hours to approve the granite, the piece of granite that I was to inspect was taken on the truck an hour earlier so I was unable to look at it. They literally offered me nothing the customer service was horrible except for a salesman named Ross who tried to help but was at the mercy of them seriously dropping the ball. I am beyond disappointed with the whole experience and now I have to wait until October 30 for the installation and was still not able to view the actual granite.

Do NOT do business with these people, especially the Noblesville location!!! On install day, I couldn't get an install time, just "afternoon". Didn't get here until 6:30pm b/c their guys are completely over booked. Then left with my faucets and said a plumber would be out the following day to install. They never called me the next morning, so I called them at 10am. I was supposed to get a call back, never did. I called back again at 4pm and was told they would not do the faucet reinstall unless I paid them $300 (after I confirmed with THREE people there I was using my faucets and no mention of plumber fees were mentioned - EVER)! Then I called back again to discuss with my sales person and was told the manager was looking into it and would call me back. Guess what, he never called back either! And then didn't get my faucets back here until 24 hours later -- not installed of course. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
