Rene did a half bath for us. When his men removed the faucet they did not cap off the line. It took 4 weeks to get a contractor to put home to get our fixture. We had a leak at cut off valve for 4 weeks our floor is ruined beautiful wood floor thatwas , cabinet that houses our sink. Called Rene out to see damages… he blamed us for all damages, brought an unlicensed plumber out who made false claims, accused us of changing our valves and did not show any accountability at all for what his crew did!!! When removing any fixture the line should have been capped off without question!! That could have saved all of this from happening! I did not expect Rene to act without any integrity or responsibility when we found the leak! Additionally he called me on the phone the next day and yelled and screamed at me telling me we changed our cut off valves and there was no way we had a leak for 4 weeks! Unethical and unaccountable and blamed us… now we will have to pay 3 contractors to fix!! A floor contractor, a plumber to take off fixture and a cabinet guy to remove cabinet from wall and reattach!!! We have used Rene for all other countertops in our house without issue previously,.. We did not expect or anticipate a problem with him and certainly didn’t expect him to not take accountability for what his crew did!!!! Be forewarned if you use this company & they remove faucets make sure they cap off lines!!!!

Olga and her husband Rene (owners) are the best people to work with. We have used them over the last four years for countertops (bathroom and kitchen), and a tile back-splash for our last two houses. We could not be more pleased with the workmanship and customer service they offer. They will truly bend over backwards to help if possible. Highly recommend!

Beware of high prices! They quoted me $90/sqft for a quartz countertop. Home Depot sells the SAME color from the SAME manufacturer for $57/sqft. And this is before all the extra fees for cutouts, etc. The price difference would have been almost $2,000 for my countertop (60 sq ft total). They told me that they don't stock that color and I would have to pay for the entire slabs and not just what I needed. That doesn't sound too unreasonable, but they weren't forthcoming about it (I had to ask why it was so high). And I wonder what they would do with the remnant that I paid for?
Make sure you know the price per foot and get quotes from other places, even if it's not the same exact stone (but also keep in mind multiple places sell the same manufacturer's products, so you can often do direct comparisons). Know what the price ranges are for the type of stone you are looking at. Don't pay fancy prices for a countertop that isn't all that fancy. In this case I could have gotten a luxury brand countertop for the price of their value brand.
I thought it was a little off that the lady at the front counter cannot give you prices - they have to work up a quote and send it to you. And on the quote they don't show the price per sq ft (or even the number of feet I specified) - only the total. I really think they are intentionally not being transparent with their pricing to try to lock you in after going through the trouble of picking a stone and having it quoted. If I have to buy the whole slab, tell me so I can make an informed decision (such as going somewhere else where I can pay by the foot).

I highly recommend Classic Marble and Granite. They had a good selection of granite options and their customer service was excellent. I debated on whether to go with this company or another granite company, I ultimately chose Classic Granite and Marble for the following reasons: (1) they would remove the old countertops. The other company stated they would remove the countertops but they would not be responsible for damage to the cabinets, no such disclaimer from CG & M (2) CG & M had a plumber on staff. The additional cost of the plumber was only $200. This was HUGE because it kept me from having to coordinate with someone from the outside.
The crew did an excellent job on the day of installation. They were very professional, and it only took about 2-1/2 hours to do the job inspite of issues I had with my stove and garbage disposal.
The removal of the old countertops was easy. There were challenges with balancing my stove, but the crew took the time to level the stove and make sure the fit was perfect. The real challenge came with the garbage disposal. The new sink is deeper than the original sink therefore, this created a space issue with the garbage disposal. From the initial measurements we knew this may create an issue and the garbage disposal may have to be moved. The plumber tried very hard to keep the disposal in the original location but due to space issues it ultimately had to be moved. I’m so glad CG & M had someone on staff that could rectify this issue at the same time as installation. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this company!

A company representative stated that the entire project could be completed in 14 business days, which allowed us to classify the company as a contractor with a fast turnaround time.
It’s important to note that the turnaround time quoted to our mystery shopper may differ from the one you receive, as fabrication time depends on many factors — including project complexity, the material selected, and the company’s current workload. Does Classic Marble & Granite offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, Classic Marble & Granite performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does Classic Marble & Granite provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, Classic Marble & Granite, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact Classic Marble & Granite in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
