Friendly staff, and very nice work. Needed a simple 22" square to top a hobby table. Selected from remnants they had, and they cut and finished for a reasonable fee. The slab is so lovely, I'll feel bad working on it! Milling about the store, they have a wide variety, too, including different tiles, etc. Will definitely check them out again for home stone projects.

Our GC used Juan when we built our house 9 years ago. We had complicated tiles to install and everything was done very well with attention to every detail. They also fabricated and installed our marble and limestone slabs and they turned out beautifully. Almost 10 years later and their work stands up. The house still looks great. We added an outdoor kitchen and they handled the Lapitech countertops, and we also recently built in a mini kitchen in the basement which they installed the backsplash and quartz countertop for. Juan is professional and always shows up and his crew does a top quality job for a reasonable price.

Absolutely recommend them for your choice of tile and use Juan's team for the installation and you will not regret it. Scott's service and communication at the store was above and beyond. Resourceful and responsive. Then begin the installation work. OMG I will never do any tile work in my house without Juan's team. We have meet at least 3 teams for this Project. The most of it was with Alex's team, perfection from A to Z! Not an edge or corner not perfect and the bathtub flooring work was a real challenge but the result is magazine worthy. Scott Turner is always right, and I've stopped trying to prove that out. I highly recommend CR Marble & Granite for both fabrication and material procurement, especially to those who are new to the concept of tile. Scott found every tile I visualised, and was able to both match and beat competitor pricing. Scott has a creative eye for design and knows what works well, he was paramount in the procurement of a lot of my tile that included wall, floor and slab. I had a pre-existing bathroom slab order with a separate company (before I met Scott) which had issues regarding delivery and vein. However, Scott as the fabricator quickly resolved this without the need for my intervention. Scott was patient and very willing to work with myself and my designer during the kitchen counter top template layout phase, he took my design and made it better... The showroom is excellent and exactly what I needed to help with visualisation. The display was orderly and appropriately placed, the work desks are large enough to enable easy viewing of plans / computer and tile samples. Even the bathrooms are designed with the beautiful marble they carry. Had I met Scott at the start of my project, I never would've bothered with the small amount of online purchasing. He educated me on tile & slab - quality, counter top fabrication and material selection methodology, finishing details such as schluter vs tile edging, grout type and color. Scott is very respectful and professional, always responded to my questions in a structured and timely format. I appreciated his honesty with one example being my originally intended tile, a very pricey marble herringbone tile. I ended up with a more beautiful chevron tile on that day, because Scott very politely talked me out of the herringbone. What you get with Scott is 25 years industry experience, an individual who really does know it all, and expertise that you just wouldn't get anywhere else. He made is easy and fun. 10 months later, I'm going back to Scott for garden slab :) Thank You Scott.

I recently visited CR where I was greeted by Scott. I informed him I was interested in a small slab of stone for an outside table and wanted to see what available at their "bone yard" which meant I was focused on low cost . Scott was immediately attentive, shared his substantial knowledge of the alternative materials particularly of benefit to one who was unprepared for the vastness of the options and generous with his time. If that is the treatment one receives for such a minimal transaction, one can be confident of excellent and quality service when deciding who to trust with a refurbishing of a kitchen or bathroom.

Working with the CR team was truly a great experience, especially when compared to the other subcontractors that we were dealing with during our whole house remodel - we had flooring people, plumbers, electricians, cabinet folks, etc. but working with CR's crew was the best experience of them all - from start to finish - Isabel, Janeth, Rene and Juan were really easy to work with and straight forward - they listened and help guide us through the process and made recommendations and accommodations with our stone supplier @ All Natural Stone for delivery and pick up of the material - Isabel was thorough with all the planning, while Janeth made sure that the templating process was completed to our liking - Rene and Juan were efficient at installation - and were honest when issues arose - we had a minor crack in one of our pieces during fabrication and Juan and Rene were upfront about it and genuinely concerned - and offered multiple solutions to the problem - We had a general contractor manage our job and they had their own countertop fabricators on hand - we decided to go with Porcelain tops because it was shiny and super durable - but we didn't know all the difficulties of trying to fabricate this material - apparently it is really hard to cut and breaks on you if not handled correctly - All in all, our GC's countertop guy wanted to charge a much higher price, and was really hesitant with working with porcelain - they mainly handled the usual granite, marble and quartz - Anyway, that lead me to try and find my own fabricator and that's how we found CR Marble - we received 4 bids from other stone fabricators and CR marble was right in the middle. This is always a good sign and secondly they were the first to respond - and was thorough in the questioning of our project so that when we received the quote it was also very detailed - the other quotes we received i found were too general for my liking and the proposed work could be misinterpreted down the road. I would recommend CR marble to anyone looking to fabricate and install countertops - in this crazy environment, with supply shortages, covid, increase demand in home remodels - it was rare to find a company that was able to deliver on its promises and provided quality work and on time -

We had a fantastic experience with CR Marble and Granite. We hired them to fabricate and install a Porcelain countertop and install our tile backsplash. For the porcelain countertops, Juan's team did their utmost to ensure that the template was placed so that we could take advantage of the marbling in our slab as well as make sure that our countertop looked homogeneous even though we had a few cuts. For the tile backsplash, we used a handmade ceramic tile that had several different colors of white. The installers made sure to vary the color pattern in a way to highlight the tile. The quality of work was outstanding. It turned out better than we ever could have imagined.

Top notch quality and service! Juan and his capable team are wonderful to work with. They are very experienced with Porcelain countertops (I was referred to them by All Natural Stone where I purchased the slabs) and their workmanship is impressive. Their pricing is competitive and they are super responsive and true to their word. They installed new counters in my kitchen and both bathrooms and we are thrilled with the outcome. I've had some contractors that I had to chase down for quotes and scheduling but that was not the case at all here, even in a time that a lot of contractors are swamped because everyone is improving their house during COVID. I am going to replace my bathroom wall and floor tile next and will definitely use them for the project.

CR Marble is by far the best marble fabricator in the Bay Area. I am a designer and have done several homes. I started using CR Marble a few years ago when I had issues with two other companies (overcharging and quality issues). I am so thankful I found Juan at CR Marble. He is a class act and I consider him an artist. Juan is laser focused on the quality of each job not matter how large or how small. He gave me the same care with using remnants for a coffee table as he did an estate scale kitchen. Beautiful work, couldn't speak more highly of his company and his work. Of all of the stone companies I have worked with, this one is the best. We had a contractor who made some bad mistakes including installing a porous stone in the shower thereby marring what was otherwise a beautiful renovation of our master bath. Juan from C&R Marble offered to fix the job at zero cost even though it was likely not their fault. Not only did they do a gorgeous job cutting the tile around a rounded corner, Juan had also previously made recommendations about the right stone to use. Altogether, if you are looking for a high end job at a fair price with a seal of quality, work with C&R. These guys are the best.

They worked with me to make sure that it would come out right and were very courteous and professional the whole way. Do not hesitate to use CR Marble and Granite! They are hands down the best in the business! I have an eye for details and I expect top-notch work from contractors and trade professionals. I grew up with a father who was a general contractor specializing in kitchen and bathroom remodels. Knowing this, our realtor, Nick French recommend CR Marble & Granite for our master bathroom remodel in 2015. They worked within our tight timeline and my request that it needed to be perfect. I'm grateful that every morning I am reminded of the fabulous work that CR Marble did! Earlier this year, it was time to remodel the guest bathroom. There was no question that we would use CR again. Scott Turner came out and helped with the measurements and was complimentary of the tile we had chosen. When installation day came, they were on time, we walked through exactly how I wanted each of the different areas done. The installers were courteous and diligent, cleaned up each day. Even though my inspection of the tile was a few days after CR finished the work, and I called to tell Scott that things weren't exactly right, I was told it was no problem and more of our expensive mosaic tile was ordered and then we were scheduled for the repairs - WITHOUT QUESTION. On repair day, Juan, the owner, and Scott, both came out to make sure there weren't additional things that needed to be addressed and to make sure we were all on the same page for the work that would be completed. Once the work was done, it was perfect! I really appreciate a business that ensures things are done exactly to the customer expectations, professionally and without hassle. Never was I talked down to or given a hard time for asking for what I wanted. There are a few things that differentiate this company: #1 - they return calls and emails promptly and professionally. #2 - they are relentlessly focused on doing an excellent job for each customer. #3 - they make things right when you aren't satisfied. Each of these seem to have become lost from many other trade professionals, but not at CR Marble & Granite. CR Marble is not the cheapest - but they are the best. You get excellent service and even better tile work. I will use them again for our fireplace facelift and again when the time cones to remodel our kitchen. I won't even consider another company.

CR Marble did a beautiful job installing my marble and quartz counters in my kitchen and bathrooms, bath and fireplace surrounds! They were great to work with and provided excellent service throughout the whole process. They installed a 3 inch mitered edges marble countertop and the edges are seamless. It looks like one big thick piece of marble. Pricewise they are on the higher side and that's a trade-off you have to make so that you get great work. I recently used CR Marble and Granite to install the fireplace surround and raised hearth on my fireplace. My old fireplace was a dated red brick. Both the tile and slab teams did a wonderful job! The tile installation was challenging given the mosaics I used, the old brick and the existing mantel. The tile team did a fantastic! They even stayed to 6:30 pm to finish the installation. It was a pleasure to work with Miranda and Juan in the office.

CR Marble and Granite have made 4 of my bathrooms and kitchen into rooms that could easily be in any decorating magazine. I was expecting family to visit and planned a party for 70 people two months from the time I had started the project. Thanks to both Scott and Juan everything was complete and beautiful for the party and house guests! Scott helped me design state of the art bathrooms with accent tiles and niches for shampoo and shower gel. In addition, I was able to select granite, marble and tile from many local venders and get the best prices. They even included me in the process of deciding how to piece the 3 granite slabs for the counters Juan met my timelines as he scheduled his staff to install all materials. They were always professional, consistently on time and cleaned up each day when they completed their work. When they were finished everything was perfect!!!! We just completed a 12 month whole house renovation and addition from the studs up. We used CR Marble for fabrication and install of marble and quartz countertops and surfaces in the kitchen, laundry, baths and fireplace. Juan and team are super friendly and the work was top quality but what impressed me the most was the way they handled a small installation mistake I called in about. I admit I'm kind of a perfectionist but Juan immediately visited my house, acknowledged the mistake and got the problem corrected asap with zero hassle. That puts them over the top in my book.

After searching all over for the perfect coffee table with a very specific look in mind for our living room, we came up empty-handed. We came to Juan to fabricate the piece based on a few images. We had a vision and an end goal: a marble coffee table reminiscent of an art sculpture. Juan looked at pictures of what we were thinking and immediately knew what he was going to do. He had us choose our slab of marble, and he even orchestrated the delivery of the slab to his shop. We brought the wooden base structure we had created (using a carpenter) to Juan and he began his magic, creating an absolutely stunning, one-of-a-kind custom coffee table. The end result was so much more than we ever had dreamed of and really provides an anchor to our living room. Every seam is perfect, every corner matches perfectly - it's a real statement piece and achieved our goal of looking like a piece of art. We highly recommend Juan for any fabrication.

Juan, Isabel and their crew are wonderful. I have used the for tile setting and slab fabrication and they consistently meet the mark. They work with all the tile and stone suppliers and the advocate for the best slabs for you. We had a damaged slab and they refused it on our behalf. They also give great advice on what materials are best suited for your project. Their crews onsite are very professional and easy to work with. You can tell the great attitude comes from the top. We had our granite installed beginning of July for a new kitchen remodel. We are very pleased with the results. We went to the shop to see how the layout would look with the template that was done for our counters. We thank Isabelle and Juan for guiding us through the layout process and with their advice the pattern layout is perfect. They were very patient and answered any questions we had about installation, edge detail, etc. The guys who installed the granite did a superb job and made sure it was right before leaving. We had some leftover granite and plan to use CR Marble again when we decide what we want done. We would definitely recommend CR Marble & Granite. They do great work and care about the end result.

I still think these guys do great work. I hired them for a THIRD job in four years to do another partial remodel of the kitchen. Same thing as the Master Bath -- new granite, sink and tile back splash. The job came out beautifully. We couldn't be more pleased with the way it looks. I should also give a shout out to Dawn at Bedrosians who steered us toward the more minimal linear tile choice. I'm definitely going to use CR M&T again-- this time to remodel the fireplace surround with the remaining granite and tile.

I can't say enough good things about C & R Granite and Marble! We just finished a kitchen makeover project- re-stained the cupboards, new quartz countertops and subway tile back splash. They fabricated and installed the countertops and did the backslash. It came out really beautiful and I'm so impressed with the work they did. Jose and Amador were our guys and they were AWESOME! Super nice guys and really clean!!!! The project took several days and they always cleaned up each step of the way. I will definitely recommend them to friends needing this type of work done.

CR Marble stands by their work, which cannot be said about many shops out there. Isabelle is great, and made sure that end job was perfect. Removed one star because, like in the other reviewers case, there was a need for several trips to make it right - and, again, CR Marble team stood by their work. I will definitely use them again for my other job. I have left review for a nightmare I had with another granite shop - if I use that as a baseline, CR Marble deserves 10 stars. ----/ A year later - added a star. Granite looks great a year later!

I recently used C.R. Marble for a complete kitchen and master bath vanity installation. I was very impressed with their customer service and the workmanship was excellent! Prior to fabrication, they had us come to their shop to approve the layout and they thoroughly explained why the design was layed out in that manner. I was very impressed with the installation. The seams that were required virtually disappeared and it looks like one continuouse piece of stone. They were very precise in making sure the granite was level and the end result speaks for itself! The work was done in a timely manner. Isabel was extremely helpful and she comminicated us throughout the process. For the Master vanity, C.R. Marble allowed us to pick out a remnant piece and all we did was pay for the fabrication and installation. I would definitely use them again. I wish I would have found them earlier and used them on my custion home! i hope this was helpful. -Richard

Excellent work! I obtained eight estimates before I chose CR marble and granite and there was no comparison. Juan (the owner and estimator) was the only installer who had laid tile and fabricated granite himself. He was also the only one who made design recommendations based specifically on the layout and feel of my home. In addition CR's price was very competitive. The CR team: Juan, Irene, and the installers were very easy to work with which has not been my experience with most contractors. Pricing, scheduling and installation were well coordinated. All that being said, my tile and granite counter tops look exceptional. CR took extra time to cut everything perfectly and used only top of the line installation materials. Their craftsmanship is exceptional.

CR was selected by my contractor during my kitchen remodel They installed the tile floors, backsplash and granite countertop The floor is perfect, I receive so many compliments on the backsplash, but I wish I would have been consulted first on the grout color. ( I blame the contractor not CR) The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the granite countertop. The good news is CR came back 3 times to work on the seam until it was p-e-r-f-e-c-t! It looks amazing. The bad news is they could have done it right the first time. Juan showed up the 3rd time and he wouldn't let his crew leave until it was perfect. I'm very happy with the end result.

Juan's staff seems to know what they're doing with materials. We had a detailed Italian tile mosaic backsplash to be installed, and ordered Caeserstone island and counters in the kitchen. Scott did a good installation. But I found CR Marble's customer service and follow-through to be quite lacking. The general contractor was not instructed how to care for the materials. His ignorant carelessness ended up causing a stain in the caesarstone. Juan did not even want to invoke the manufacturer warranty on the product. Also, we asked Juan to install a brass transition strip from the remodel to the original hardwood floors. But Juan did not follow through with his email promise to get the work scheduled, and then stopped returning messages I left with the business office or his mobile.

Be very careful when using them as subcontractors for a job that you have hired another contractor for. There's a law in california that holds the homeowner responsible for payment that a contractor does not make to subcontractor. A subcontractor can put a lien on your house if he's not paid for the job. It was obviously created to protect workers but there are contractors and subcontractors that take advantage of this law to make more money off of the homeowners. I hired Bow Peterson from BP Remodeling to remodel my bath. He brought in Scott from CR Marble for the granite work. No where in the contract did Bow call out that I would be responsible for paying CR Marble (he called out the shower door company, but never CR Marble). Because of that my understanding was that Bow would pay them for their labor. When the bathroom remodel was completed, I paid Bow Peterson the outstanding amount based on the contract, but a few weeks later I got an invoice for $4k+ for the granite labor from CR Marble! When I reached out to Bow, he told me I was responsible for paying CR Marble directly and when I talked to Scott, he told me it was between me and Bow. Scott also repeatedly kept calling me to push me into making the payment. He even threw in some phrases to pressurize me - "dont worry its not like we are going to put a lien on your house", "so far we've been nice and trying to accommodate you". Its very clear to me that Bow and Scott were working together to leverage the california mechanics lien law to get more money out of me- 1. I was never given an estimate of the labor by CR Marble before they started the job. 2. They did not give me the invoice when the granite installation was completed. For example, the shower door company immediately provided the invoice at the time of installation and I paid them immediately. 3. They sent me the invoice after Bow Peterson had received his full payment and was out of the house.

Many say this company does great work. I never got that far. Juan came by, measured everything, took pictures and made notes. I date was sent and his team showed up. They were shocked and amazed, and ran from the house saying that this was not what they were prepared for. Their materials did not match the job and they sat in their truck for 30 minutes then left. Later that day, I received an updated estimate with a much greater total. They explained that I had changed things, that I had not done my part and that I had modified the site since Juan showed up and took pictures. They also rescheduled the job Any attempt to find out what was going on only resulted in them blaming me. Needless to say I dropped them and found another tile person
