My wife and I remodeled our kitchen and our experience with Budget Granite CounterTops & Cabinets was wonderful, and the customer service was excellent! Both Sharon and Ian were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and were able to answer all questions we had. At no point did my wife and I feel rushed in the process of choosing the right stone for our project. Lastly, the prices were great, and their selection of stone was greater than everywhere else. Scheduling the measurements and fitting was hassle-free, and the team were flexible (rescheduling for us when my wife unexpectedly got Covid). I would recommend Budget Granite CounterTops & Cabinets to anyone looking to remodel their kitchen.

I am so impressed with the whole team at Budget Granite. Our quartz counters and backsplash are absolutely stunning (I will update with pictures after the cabinet fronts and lighting go in). The employees are attentive, professional, and low pressure. I loved their selection and guidance. The installation was smooth. The seams in the quartz are nearly invisible and they matched the veining up so well. Their prices are also more reasonable than many other places. So thankful I found this place! We can't wait to do our next project with them!

Great customer service. Willing to go extra mile for the client. Mr. Wen Yu answered all my questions and was willing to work with my particular project. They have a ton of different remnant granite and quartz slabs for you to choose from. I'm pretty happy with the service I received.

Couldn’t be happier with my beautiful quartz countertops from Budget Granite-from showroom to templating to install-personable, professional, knowledgeable and skilled. The quick turnaround was an unexpected bonus. All at a reasonable cost. Would definitely recommend!

Wen and his team were great to work with. Through the judicious use of materials they were able to install our quartz counters for about $2500 less than the other quotes we received. By incorporating one nearly-invisible seam at the center of the sink they were able to accomplish the job with a single sheet of quartz instead of the two sheets that others quoted. They were also able to install the counters about two weeks sooner than expected. The crew was masked for Covid, did a great job, and left our kitchen spotless.

I couldn’t be happier with the Budget Granite and Cabinets work on my recent kitchen remodel. Kandy and Norman were so helpful - they took the time to understand my style and offered ideas that enhanced the project but still supported my design ideas. Kandy helped with selections that were beautiful and still managed to keep the project on budget. The installation teams for both cabinets and countertops were helpful, always on time and did excellent work. This remodel was in an older house and the whole team helped work around the quirky things that you find in this kind of project.

I am really impressed by Budget Granite. We initially wanted a concrete counter but the cost and lack of interest by contractors in such a small space turned us off the idea. Being able to find a high quality remnant piece at a fraction of the cost made me very happy. Ian made the process simple. This 3-walled coffee nook is not square and I am in awe of the accuracy of the cut. I’d definitely recommend this place. Thank you Ian and team!

From the moment I called the store to inquire about some countertop options, Kandy had been such a delight. She was able to not only offer me information about the different types of countertops, but gave me some resources to check out if I wanted to get a better idea of some alternative styles. Since I had no experience with countertops at all, this was a very important starting place. Kandy was both professional and personable during each and EVERY interaction I had with her. She made the idea of getting new countertops an easy, painless and most importantly comfortable experience for me. I find it rare in a busy world to find customer service as great as hers was for me. Norman who came out to template was a lovely and kind soul. His template was done both quickly and to perfection. The install crew was on time, respectful and timely. The countertops turned out AMAZING! Thank you so very much for having a competent and caring crew!

10/10!!! We have been putting off doing our kitchen counters for too many years for fear of cost and complications, as our house is 100 years old and nothing is ever easy! But finding Budget Granite made it almost too easy. We did the demo of old counters ourselves and we able to save the backsplash( pure luck!) and everything from Ian’s great communication to expert template measurement and super quick and professional install made me wonder why we didn’t do this sooner. And even better the project easily was 50% less than we had though it would cost. We could not be more in love with the Giotto quartz!!!

We loved working with the team at budget granite! We worked together on a kitchen remodel for counter & backsplash and did a bathroom vanity top out of the remnant slab from the kitchen. Kandy & Ian were so helpful and kind, helping us pick the right slab for the job. Install team was punctual, professional, super clean and also very nice. Slab & install was well priced and they did a great job. Will work with them again.

Working with Budget Granite CounterTops was a wonderful experience. Ian and his team were responsive and really helped my wife and I hone in on the design that we were interested in. When they visited our home for measurements they were punctual and friendly. Lastly during the construction phase they met all deadlines and dates that were schedule. The laborers and craftsman who installed the cabinets and counter were friendly, clean, and worked quick and efficient. I would highly recommend them for any cabinet/counter project.

Amazing service and quality. Had new countertops put in my kitchen and it was a seamless and wonderful experience. Don't let the word "budget" or the exterior of their shop scare you away. Yes, the pricing is great but the quality and service is better than many high end places I've dealt with. Ian worked with me to pick my granite and worked on the dimensions with us to get the best price and utilize a remnant. He also connected us with a contractor to do the demolition and they coordinated so that my kitchen was down for no more than a couple of days. I cannot speak highly enough of Ian and his team at Budget Granite Countertops and Cabinets. Next up: we'll be using them for our bathroom remodel!

Budget Granite is a super local company. We needed to redo our laundry room, too small a project for other companies we talked to. This was right up their alley. Kandy guided us through selecting the cabinets, and gave us a referral to Alpha Remodeling who did the demo amd the plumbing. Budget supplied the cabinets and our choice of countertops, did the measuring, and completed the installation. Excellent work all around. All we had to do was buy the sink and faucet set. Their forte is taking the whole project from beginning to end. Just what we needed for our small project. Pricing was also very reasonable. Thank you Budget Granite!

My wife and I tried 5 different countertop shops until we found these guys. We are glad that we found this gem of a shop and had a great experience. Ian and Sonny were on it! We have been putting off writing a review because we wanted to share pictures after completing our backsplash. Neither of us write reviews very often, but this job was such a huge success so we needed to give them props. We are just going to list off what we liked... 1. Our kitchen is larger than a standard kitchen where all the other shops quoted needing 2 slabs to get the job done. Budget was the only shop that recommended using a Jumbo slab for our kitchen which saved us $$. 2. All we had to do is text Ian a picture of our kitchen layout to get a quote. We had a quote that same day. 3. Phone conversations were great! We had some questions about the edges and the free kitchen sink size (30" vs 32") they were including and they were responsive. 4. Easy process to get the ball rolling. All we had to do to get job going was put down 50% of the cost to have measurements done the following week, then they were out installing the countertops 2 weeks after that. 5. They showed up to install when they said they would. We were told installers would show up between 8-9am and they arrived at 8:15am and were done with our install about 4 hours later. 6. Cleanliness was exceptional - they even put cloth down to protect our flooring. 7. Our experience was so great and have been telling our friends about them if they ever need new countertops. 8. We are going to copy and paste this review into Google as well to get the word out. You don't find many businesses that are this good very often these days, especially when it comes to construction projects:) Alex & Christina S.

Budget Granite came highly recommended by our contractors who have worked with them for over a decade, and they were right! Ian, Wen, and everyone we spoke to at Budget were diligent and very knowledgable. Budget works with many of the slab spots in town; We fell in love with a mid-range granite from EleMar Oregon and Budget's quote was not only immensely reasonable, but fabrication took less than a week from our templating appointment. Squeezing our entire kitchen's needs into a single (and very distinctive) slab was not an easy task, and before fabrication Budget called to discuss needing an additional seam line to make it work. I'm so glad we placed trust in the experts to do what they thought would look best, the placement and matching of the seam is practically invisible, and you can tell they took great care in showcasing the best parts of the stone! The installers were superbly careful, very skilled in cutting out for the sink area on-site to ensure a perfect fit, and took their time and great care even though we were their final evening install on a Saturday. Cannot recommend Budget Granite enough, we are so very pleased, thank you!

We highly recommend Budget Granite Counters. They were so easy to work with, directed us to three granite and marble suppliers so we could find our particular granite. Templating with Sonny was so easy and he had excellent suggestions for overhangs, edging etc. Installation was a week later. We have a large kitchen requiring three slabs of granite and a day and a half to install. Quality of workmanship was outstanding with all joints matching perfectly- we could not be more pleased. We appreciated being able to come to the shop to help lay out the templates on the granite to emphasize the best aspects of our selected granite. Ian and Candy in the office were so helpful in answering all our questions. This process was quick (2 weeks) and so problem free. They were wonderful.

In April of 2024 we noticed a bulge in our kitchen floor in front of the sink. We soon learned that a very slow sneaky leak associated with a water line that fed the pathetic hand-held cold-water "spritzer" thingy that we had inherited from a low-rent kitchen remodel done by the previous owner, that sneaky leak had, over a period of many months managed to impregnate the fiber-board underlayment that had been lurking all along beneath two layers of linoleum floor covering, the bottom layer of which dated back to 1976 when our 1600 Square Feet split level condo was built, a few years before Oregon banned the use of asbestos in home construction. Thus began a spring through summer ordeal that began with bringing in a superb outfit from Salem that is licensed by the state to remove asbestos. That first necessary move set us back $2300 on the way to a total project outlay of $14,000, zero of which was reimbursed by our so-called home insurance, State Farm Insurance, whose BS line was that if had been a burst pipe, well, maybe. But because it was a slow (and imperceptible) leak it was something we should have noticed from the get-go and, thus, it was all on us, too bad, so sad, screw you. Just another typical story out of the pit of hell that is the American non-insurance industry. But, as is said, even the darkest cloud may have a silver lining and this story has two such, the most noteworthy of which involved more than a small bit of luck when we stumbled upon the wonderful people of Budget Granite Countertops & Cabinets. Ian and his superb team did not merely "fabricate" the slab of Granite we purchased from Bedrosians Tile and Stone, they sculpted it into a work of art. We just had some very good friends over for dinner, friends who are upper middle class and have a gorgeous three-level domicile perched on the west slope of the Tualatin Mountains (aka Portland's West Hills) and as I had predicted, the male half of this couple said, "I wish our granite countertops had beveled edges like these as he fondled our gorgeous granite countertops that I am sure cost us something less than what our friends shelled out for theirs. But the extreme beauty of the countertops is just part of this story. Ian's team came over and took very precise measurements such that the finished countertops fitted our range perfectly. They even thought to leave some additional space for our aged refrigerator so that when we replace it not too far down the line we will have the option of installing a larger unit. And during the critical installation of the countertops, Ian's partner Sonny and key associate Rick were on the scene, supervising the installation, making sure it was done to perfection, which it was. It was all that we had dreamed and then some. And as for the two cabinets that had to be replaced, it was important that the paint match the in situ cabinets on the stove side of the kitchen. Budget nailed it! And I have never before experienced cabinet drawers that move with such silky smoothness and are actually self-closing. You just give the drawer a medium push and it takes care of the rest. Amazing! We had also considered the services of a national franchise outfit that has a very fancy showroom and very nice folks on the floor, but, funny damn thing: When our aforementioned dinner guest was wishing that his countertops were as good as ours he did not ask us if our contractor had a high-rent fancy-schmancy showroom. Guess who gets to pay for all that extra overhead carried by the big franchise outfit? Yup, you do. To be sure Budget's bid, while somewhat under the bid given us by Mr./Ms. fancy, was not what I would call "dirt cheap". Well, I'm in my eighth decade of life and I've been around the home improvement block a few times and when you go for "dirt cheap" you get dirt. With Budget you pay something less but get a whole helluva lot more in quality of product and service. If anyone takes me up on the above recommendation and thinks I got it wrong, feel free to contact me at: tayloruss@gmail.com. I have given Budget Five Stars but if I could give them a hundred stars I would do it. Budget gets the Gold Medal for quality and service. It simply does not get any better than Budget Granite Countertops & Cabinets. It just doesn't.

My husband and I went to a couple places to look at countertop options and we landed on going with Budget because they have a good selection at very competitive prices. Their warehouse is larger than it seems at first glance and Kandy, our sales associate, was incredibly friendly, professional, and communicative. Not only did Budget communicate well with scheduling templating and installation of the countertop, but they did a great job overall. When we noticed 1 small edge that we wanted rounded, they came out quickly to buff the edge. Wonderful experience overall. Thank you Kandy, Ian, Sonny, and the whole Budget team for helping us find and install a beautiful quartz countertop!

When we had questions during installation, he came to our house and put in the extra effort to ease our "newly" concerns completely. Sonny measured our job twice for accuracy which paid off with a perfect fit. Our installers (sorry, never got your names, we're meticulous, patient and highly skilled. We were more than impressed. Great to work with and a beautiful product. I purchased a remnant piece of granite for my fireplace hearth and it turned out beautifully. I didn't know that there is almost nothing to the installation and they encouraged me to do it myself to avoid a pricey set-up fee.

We recently moved to Portland from out of state and knew we needed to renovate our kitchen right away. Budget Granite was quick to respond to our inquiry and we made an appointment to meet with them. Right away we felt at ease and they did everything they could to make the process simple for us. They gave us a list of contractors and after reaching out to their list and a list from our realtor, we ended up choosing one of their contacts for the job. He worked with Budget Granite's team on planning and scheduling, which made the process smooth. From demo to completion, we had a new kitchen in less than a month and it's beautiful! We love our cabinets and countertops and I can't say enough about how professional they were. They took extra care to get every angle just right in our older, slightly wonky house. They meticulously cleaned up after themselves as they worked. All their staff wore masks at all times and they were all such nice people to work with. They were communicative and dependable, showing up and doing what they said they would. It could have been a nightmare to renovate a kitchen in a city where we don't have many contacts and during a pandemic, but Budget Granite made this a wonderful experience!

Do not judge a book by its cover. Finding Budget Granite in NE Portland on Sandy Blvd was completely random. We had been getting price quotes for quartz countertops for our kitchen from larger and more well know businesses. A trip to Budget Granite was the best thing that could have happened. They have super pricing for both material and instillation. They have access to the same brand name quartz material as any other retailer. This family own business is well established. They are very responsive and prompt with email replies and/or phone calls. The team of installers are equally as amazing. I would highly recommend them!

From start to finish, our experience with Budget was flawless. We first met with Wen, one of Budget's cabinet specialists who was so wonderful in helping guide my husband and I through the process of choosing the right cabinets and countertops for our kitchen. He really took the time to listen (not a quality that all sales people possess) and then made recommendations based on our wishes, with a few tweaks based on his experience and knowledge. We got an estimate which we felt was very reasonable based on what we were looking for and then it was game on. Wen gave us our timeline, was an excellent communicator every step of the way, and was always quick to get back to us with any questions or concerns we had. Both he and his install team were punctual, professional and friendly and even came through to fix some minor damage that our contractor had done to our beautiful new counters, which was really above and beyond. We will be working with Budget again for an upcoming bathroom remodel and would recommend them to anybody looking for a great experience with your cabinet and countertop needs!

We had a fantastic outcome to our kitchen countertops, thanks to the crew at budget countertops. Julia, the sales person, was amazingly patient with us, as we visited several times to look at samples and she even let us walk around the yard to look at stones. They even let me bring in a sample of the tiles and the paint that I was using on the backsplash and the cabinets so that I could get just the right color! Then when we found a stone slab of Quartzsite at a local stone company, the coordination with Budget and the delivery the slabs happened flawlessly. The installers were very courteous, efficient and quick and I must say they did a perfect job. I'm a professional artist and a Remodeler, and my OCD nature compels me to find every imperfection in a job and I can assure you, this job came out flawlessly.

This was my first venture into remodeling a kitchen. I did not know where to begin with the countertops when a friend suggested Budget Granite Counter. I had no idea what I was looking for, so Ian took the time to explain the different materials available and show me examples. It was easy to make a choice from their lovely selections. Now what? An appointment was made for a couple of weeks later to measure for the counters and make a template. They were concerned that the seams be placed as inconspicuously as possible. The install date was just a week away. Two installers arrived and commenced their work. I had no idea how much was involved and how long it took. The results were meticulous. I love my new counters! From selection to scheduling to measuring to installation, everyone I deal with was professional and clearly communicated their process. 5 stars for sure!

I was after a remnant for my guest bath and mentioned the look I was after. I was directed to the perfect piece of tile. I did look at all the options but they hit the mark. Finish work was excellent and my builder was impressed with the precision and reinforcement. Budget Granite is my go to for the future!

My wife and I had our bathroom remodeled two summers ago. We had budget granite build us a custom white cabinet and install it. After a few months we noticed some small cracking in the paint. Norm came out; removed the cabinet doors, and repainted them again. However, for some odd reason the paint cracked a second time. Norm once again, rushed out and removed the doors and this time we went with a wood stain and walla!! Problem fixed! Anyway, my point being, these guys were great! Even though things didn't go according to plan the first time they never once shied away from the problem and they fixed everything to perfection. They also returned every call, text and email. I would hire these guys again in a heart beat. They are very reasonable, honest and do good work. A++++ all the way!!

We bought our countertop more than a year ago and I keep intending to write a review. Sorry I took so long. It was a pleasure to do business with Budget Granite. The sales staff were incredibly helpful and made it easy to pick out a sample I liked. Then I got to see the actual slab in the back. That made it so much easier to envision the the counter top. In a very short time period, someone came to measure and then install. It was a quick, easy, painless process. I have since recommended Budget Granite to several people. Their service is far better than at big box stores, you get to see "your" slab, and the turn around time is very fast. I think they are terrific.

I've been hiring people and DIYing for the past 10+ years while working on my near 100-yr-old house and I've worked with a lot of different vendors, contractors, and craftspeople. My experience with Budget Granite is probably the best I have ever had. We needed a small, oddly shaped countertop for our bathroom and I wanted something nice. I was able to choose from an assortment of very nice slabs at their showroom, and arrange for the entire project in less than an hour. They were able to get us on the schedule quickly and the countertop area was measured and then completely installed less than 3 weeks later. Everyone I worked with was extremely pleasant and professional. And the countertop looks amazing. Very happy with my experience and with the finished product.

We can not recommend this company enough! We just completed a full kitchen remodel and they are amazing to work with. Their prices are excellent and their customer service is beyond anything we have encountered before. The installation crew that came to our house did an amazing job. Everything was perfect! And when they left you would have never known they had been there. They left the kitchen spotless. We will never use another company for our home or business projects again. They have definitely earned our business for anything in the future! John and Elizabeth Dykes

Julia was awesome to work with. We had a piece of granite that we purchased from another store, thinking we could cut it ourselves. After trying to find someone to come to our house to do the work, without any luck, we contacted Budget Granite. They understood what we needed and cut our granite perfectly. We were very pleased with the service we received.

Working with Norman was really great. And the products we received are great quality and holding up wonderfully. It's been a year since install. We purchased cabinets and countertops. Make sure you include everything in your original project estimate from them. Add on's got expensive.

I highly recommend Budget Granite. We had a huge project, remodeling our first home and the kitchen needed a major face lift. We didn't know where to start and Ian walked us through the entire process multiple times (I was pretty indecisive). Even picking cabinet colors were difficult! I had envision an open kitchen concept with a raised bar but had limited kitchen space. How do you maximize space?!? Well, Budget made it happen for us. We now have a beautiful curved bar!! Yes, they convinced me and soft closed cabinets with quartz countertops. Pictures would not do it justice. We were so happy with the results and even added a new countertop for our double bathroom sink. Budget Granite is the best. Not only were they affordable, their service was excellent and they help bring our dream kitchen to life! We couldn't have picked a better place. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Outstanding! From the sales staff, to those who measured, demo'd and installed-- I couldn't be more pleased with the service from Budget Granite. Ian was professional and came out to our house right away to do the measure -- he was careful and accurate. The demo/installation team was excellent as well. They protected all existing surfaces and were quite precise in the installation of quartz countertops. Efficient, polite, hard workers! No slacking here. We had to have seams in the countertop, and I was a little worried about how they would look, but I can't even see them. The quartz is high quality I love my new quartz counters. Budget Granite did an awesome job!

We loved working with Sharon and Norman. They did a tremendous job helping to bring our vision to reality. They were able to build us the corner base cabinet and microwave cabinet we wanted to be able to reorient our kitchen peninsula and greatly improve the functionality and flow of our kitchen. They gave us lots of options for granite and quartz for our project. In the end, they reinstalled existing base cabinets, manufactured and installed the new ones, and installed our beautiful new quartz, all on-time and on-budget. The pricing was far better than anything we looked at in Portland and they were very knowledgeable and professional throughout. On top of that, they're just nice people. I highly recommend them!

After going to about 4 places to discuss a tricky bathroom set-up for a new vanity area, we went into Budget Granite and Cabinets. Norman was so helpful right from the start. The other places either had no one to assist us or answer any questions, or didn't really have answers. The work was completed on time and efficiently. We are thrilled with our new bathroom!
