When I started considering a quartz countertop, I went to Google to look for installers and read countless reviews. Miguel (BMG) had the highest reviews of anyone I could find in the Bay Area, and so I reached out for a quote. Miguel himself responded to my inquiry in less than an hour, and was the only company/person I contacted who cared enough to come by and see my fairly small kitchen before doing a quote. I could tell that he cared personally about the details. We spent an hour discussing seams, possible “flow” of veins, and how to handle a few tricky sections of my counter. He also offered to meet me at the slab warehouse to look at colors and styles - which we did for over another hour. All before I even decided to move forward with him. He didn’t pressure me to make any fast decisions, and was patient while I considered my options. Obviously I chose Miguel, and he lived up to the reviews. On the day of the demo and haul away they were right on time, and INCREDIBLY RESPECTFUL to my house…protecting every floor and surface they would touch, and building temporary plastic walls to keep the dust in the kitchen only. Once the templates were done Miguel and Luis spent 3+ hours with me at the warehouse playing “countertop Tetris” figuring out how to make my layout perfect. In the end, Miguel thought we needed 3 slabs instead of 2, and yet he still honored his original quote and only charged me for the 2 slabs he quoted. Trust means everything. My install was done this week. It’s beautiful, and the team spent extra time to figure out how to get everything right given my crooked and often uneven cabinets! The seams are nearly invisible, and the veining between sections is as good or better than I expected. They cleaned up just as thoroughly as they set up, and even swept my driveway as they left (there was a bit of sawdust and powder from the install day adjustments). We had a 2-foot-long deep crack in the countertop near the kitchen sink area for quite a few years, it finally fell off during house cleaning this week. It looked really awful. Out of desperation, and after reading online reviews, we called Boyzo hoping that they could do something about it without costing us a fortune, but obviously our expectations were not high. We were so lucky to be able to connect with Miguel that day and were greatly relieved when he told us that he should be able to repair the countertop. Two days later, Miguel showed us at our house and went immediately to work. The job was completed in about 4 hours. The result was absolutely amazing; we never expected that the broken granite pieces could be put back together so perfectly and tightly, like a new countertop. On top of everything, the cost was way below what we had expected and less than that we were quoted by others. Miguel and his team did a fantastic job installing our new quartz countertop. This was my first kitchen update project and I was on a tight timeline regarding the order of things, with the counter install needing to happen first. Miguel went above & beyond to make it happen in a timely fashion. Not only did he locate and pick up the specific quartz slab I wanted, he was able to fabricate the pieces in such a way to have an extra piece left for me to also use for my bathroom counter. Miguel and his team did a beautiful job of installing new quartz countertops and backsplashes. Communication is excellent, and they always arrived on time, cleaned up well, and even came back and fixed a problem another construction team caused (and cleaned up after the other team’s mess, too!). The seems were almost invisible, and the workmanship was quality! Miguel was easy to work with and his team was professional. His price came in under budget.
