Best Hardwood Floors did excellent work with the new floors we had installed. Jessica was very helpful with her customer care and support. Cesar was very knowledgeable, professional and provided exceptional insight to what’s was required for the project. However without question the installer, Angel, was amazing craftsman. His work was outstanding. Additionally he was a true professional; arriving on time and obviously took great care in his work. I would definitely use Best Hardwood Floors for future projects.

Wonderful experience in working with this business. Highly recommend them for all your flooring and tile needs The sales person Jessica was knowledgeable and explained the difference between the laminate and vinyl plank flooring. Was helpful in picking out my choice in laminate. The estimate and measurement experience was easy and accurate. Cesar answered all my questions and gave me answers to questions I didn’t know I had. The installation was perfect. The installers Delfino and Antonio were artist in laying the laminate down. They were very hard workers. Very friendly and explained the process to me as they went along. Asked my opinion on options available during the installation. Advice was given on how to care for the floor and the Do’s & Don’t’s.

We live in Truckee and had Best Hardwood Flooring replace the carpet in our home with an engineered wood floor last year. They had the best price on materials and labor and they did a fantastic job with the installation. The sales team was super patient with me, drafting up new quotes for several materials as I continuously changed my mind. Angel worked hard to finish the job on time, and I could tell he took pride in his work to make the floors and transitions look as good as possible. Communication around scheduling was great too. They came to install the flooring a week or two after delivery, but the wood hadn't finished acclimatizing. They rescheduled the installation for a later date without any trouble. If I ever need to do another flooring project in my house they will be the first and only people I call. Best Hardwood Flooring truly is the best!

My husband and I had a very good experience with the staff and work done by Best Hardwood Flooring and Tile. Jessica at the front desk was so helpful from the get go. She wrote up and estimate so we had an idea of what our purchase might end up costing and let us take a sample home to check for color match. Cesar came out and measured for correct measurements. He was very helpful with ideas on how to install the vinyl planks. Mario and Israel did a fantastic job laying the vinyl. Best Hardwood Flooring and Tile provided us with everything we needed in our entire house, which was a brand new build. They did our countertops in the kitchen, pantry, laundry room, and all the bathrooms. They put in our vinyl plank flooring throughout the whole house as well as our carpet. They did the tile in all of the bathrooms as well as in the showers including the shower pan stone. They also did the backsplash behind our oven on our kitchen wall. We are so pleased with their work. Rosa was amazing in helping us pick out the right color schemes and getting everyone scheduled. The owner, Cesar, came to our home several times to check the work to make sure everything was on target. Danny and Saul installed all of the tile and shower stone in all of the bathrooms and did an amazing job! They were thorough and very creative with their work. Martin installed our vinyl plank flooring and was very quick in getting it done and making the pattern look beautiful. Efren and Rafael fabricated and installed all of the countertops throughout the house. They were very thorough and encouraged our input on how they should look. They did a beautiful job. They also gave us advice in keeping them polished and looking beautiful. Miguel, who is the other owner of Best, installed our backsplash in the kitchen. We absolutely love the pattern and again, he wanted my input to make sure the pattern was what I wanted. I highly recommend Best to take care of anything you might need in your home. They are very prompt with returning calls, addressing any concerns, and showing up to your home to make sure everything is done correctly.

We have worked with Best for multiple projects on our homes including engineered hardwood, lvp, tile, carpet, and quartz counters. The sales staff helped us find a very close match of coordinating lvp and engineered hardwood flooring and they put the hardwood in the living room. We did 2,600 sqft of LVP and the installer did a very nice job with close attention to detail. They fabricated our 3cm quartz kitchen counters, and worked to ensure that there were no seams on the work surface. The island in particular turned out to be an impressive piece with no seams. Our kitchen tile flooring and backsplash is fabulous. The owners, Cesar and Miguel, as well as Jessica and other staff, are all wonderful to work with. If you need flooring or counters, I highly recommend.

Diana managed our project from start to finish. She even called the supplier to confirm the flooring would be delivered in time for our installation. It was a pleasure working with her. Cesar came to our house and measured the floor to insure the correct amount of material was ordered. He accelerated our installation date to help us get our property back on the market. The installers, Mario and Israel were fast and professional. The floor looks great. In 2018 Best Hardwood Flooring & Tile installed vinyl flooring in my Condo. My wife and I had a great experience with "Best Hardwood Flooring & Tile". The sales rep, Jessica was very patient and helpful in assisting us with floor samples to take home. She listened to every concern and question I had and left no question unanswered. Rosa, the manager was very efficient, polite and scheduled Cesar to come out and measure our home for flooring. Ceasar was very friendly and informative about the process and what to expect. On the first day of installation Mario and Israel came to my home and immediately got to work. These two guys finished my entire 2,000 square foot home and closets in 4 days including demo. I was very impressed to say the least and the work was clean, I could not have asked for a better experience. I would recommend this business and anyone of the individuals listed above any day of the week. My floors are beautiful now and no more carpet in my house.

2 men showed up for the job on time! That was a great start. I showed them exactly where I wanted the bad boards replaced, because overall the floors were in decent condition. We plan to refinish them ourselves. The 2 men worked all day, very hard, respectful, and detailed. They both cleaned up too. That evening I got home and noticed a few boards that I pointed out to be replaced that were still there and I asked about them. I was told "they will be fine once you sand and fill them." Okay.... I wanted the boards with the huge gouge in the middle of the dining room replaced, not sanded and filled. THEN I walk about to the rest of the house and wherever they had replaced boards the baseboards surrounded were destroyed. ( Mind you, these were brand new- 1 week old!) They were either peeled off, the caulking ruined, and underneath was dented or there was a huge chunk in bottom where they replaced the board and bathroom tile was destroyed where the boards met the tile. I asked them about this... specifically asking if they could replace the boards, paint, and caulk because they were BRAND NEW and 24 hours later we got a call from the boss Cesar saying "I'm not a painter, I don't know what you want me to do." It's really not about that. It's about the brand new baseboards needed to be replaced because of huge divots... It's very disappointing that they will not own it, buy the materials, or get another company/ friend to help them out because "they are not painters." I really wanted to like these guys and I was really expecting awesome results overall. The boards they did replace look very nice, besides the awful baseboards that now accompany them. Not sure if we will receive compensation for the damage.. but we I will updated this post when we know. For now, choose elsewhere for your hardwood floor needs. I do not recommend.

Over the last 20 years I have frequently employed BHF&T to refinish and repair my hardwood flooring; their workmanship has always been exceptional. Recently BHF&T removed carpeting on two stairways replacing it with oak matching my existing oak flooring. Once again I am very pleased with their finished product. The two installers, Delfino and Juan, worked steadily and diligently during the week they were on the job and were often checking with me to confirm that I agreed with/approved of what they were doing and the quality of the work. Jessica in the office also was in continuous contact with us regarding materials and cost. So you can correctly deduce that we will continue to rely on BHF&T when we need flooring services.

We had a big remodel in a high rise in Downtown Reno, and we had Best Hardwood handle the installation of new engineered wood floors, quartz countertops, floor tile and backsplash tile in the kitchen and two bathrooms. They also did the tiling of the showers and around the tub in the primary bath, including accent tile and niches. Their prices were excellent, and their workers were skilled, friendly, and hardworking. Their showroom is well-stocked, and you will get outstanding advice. Everything turned out beautifully! Cesar and his brother did all you could want to make sure we were happy with the extraordinary work they did on our home. The wood floors are gorgeous! The tile work, exceptional! From Rosa at the front desk who helped us select a lot of the materials, to Cesar who came out repeatedly to oversee the job and manage the pick-up work, Best Hardwoods followed through on EVERYTHING they promised. With a job this big, things go wrong. But when they did, Cesar came out, looked at the issue, and RESOLVED it quickly and cleanly. A chip in a tile, fixed. A ding in the floor, fixed. You know how some companies drag their feet to do the final punch list? NOT Best Hardwood. They were responsive, competent, friendly, reliable, and they care. Amazing Work! From start to finish we were so impressed with this company. The customer service we got from start to finish on our flooring project was so great. Jessica in the office really hustled to order the flooring and she was able to schedule the install before our moving truck got here (which was a huge favor). I felt like we were treated the same way they treated their own families. Mario and Israel installed the floor and made suggestions to us we would've never thought of. I could tell that Mario takes pride in his work and really enjoys his job. They demo'd our carpet and did our whole house in LVP in 3 days with the attention to detail that would normally take at least 7. Our friends recommended we check out this company after having their floors done. We walked in on a Saturday and Andrea greeted us right away. Pointed us in the direction of samples of tile we were considering. She was very friendly and helpful, let us take home 4-5 samples so could make sure in our natural lighting that it is a good fit. She was able to also get Cesar, the estimator, scheduled to come take measurements at our home the very next week. My husband met with Cesar, who promptly arrived for our appointment a little early. He was quick at getting all of our measurements for our flooring needs. We received our free estimate within the week. We purchased our materials that next weekend and were told it would possibly take a couple weeks for it to arrive then booking the job maybe right before Christmas. But to our great surprise, we got a call less than a week later saying the materials arrived and that they had an opening to start the next week! We were thrilled at how quick the process has been so far. Miguel and another guy arrived to do the demolition. They were courteous and friendly; gave us a heads up on how dusty it would get. So we had time to put away tabletop items and they taped up plastic to protect the electronics. They were done with most of the 1000 sq ft demo in two days. Miguel introduced us to the installer, Esteban, as they were heading out. I appreciated the communication and handoff. Miguel kept us informed every step of the demo process and answered all of my questions. Esteban did majority of the tile installation on his own. He was very polite, professional and methodical in his approach. Every day he did sections of tile so that we could manage around it as it dried. He understood our concerns with installation being properly done since our original build installation was shoddy and he got to see it firsthand during demolition. We did find a couple of areas that needed to be fixed during the installation and Esteban redid the work without making me feel bad for bringing it up. He worked with a smile throughout the two weeks. Delfino and Antonio came on the final day to install our baseboards. Very polite and friendly. He walked through all the work we needed to have done before putting any of the boards in. They also vacuumed up the rooms and reinstalled the anti-tip bracket for our stove and blinds fixture to the baseboard. During the entire process, when I had questions or concerns, Jessica, in the store, was able to answer and help. She also was able to clarify details along the way to make sure the crew on site and I were on the same page. She made sure we were also aware of the credit card service fees, 2.5% for materials and 3.5% for labor before processing our card. The whole process of demolition and installation took two weeks for our 1000 square foot bottom floor that included 1.5 baths. Thank you to everyone for making the process run smoothly! We will definitely will recommend them to other friends.

I spent all of 2022 remodeling my entire home. I used Best Hardwood Flooring & Tile for my quartzite installation (Efren!!), extensive tile selection and installation (Cristobol!!), and all my new hardwood flooring. I can't say enough good things about this organization. Their showroom is the best in all of Reno (I know because I've been to them all!). The selection they have is awesome. Jessica & Rosa were extremely helpful and knowledgeable in the showroom. Cesar, the owner, runs a fabulous organization. The quotes were timely and very competitive. The scheduling process was seamless. His crews were always on-time, respectful, and truly artists when it came to installation. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.

I absolutely love working with Best Hardwood Flooring and Tile, especially Rosa. I've had several home projects to get through. First, Best Hardwood has the best selection and variety, and large samples that I was allowed to take home and observe for a few days. For my most current project I needed help pulling together a cohesive plan to ensure the materials & colors I was choosing would flow well with the other design features I had to account for. Rosa has an amazing eye for design and detail and honestly, every time I go in to meet with Rosa, I feel like I'm getting a personalized design consult. I'm so grateful for all the help & ideas Rosa has given me and for the beautiful tile installation that their team did for us. Best Hardwood also worked with us and our contractor to ensure we ordered the right materials, and when the materials arrived, allowed our contractor some time to pick up the order so we didn't have to worry about picking up all that material ourselves and finding a place to store them. We had a botched up hardwood floor in our kitchen from a handyman. We called Best Hardwood Flooring. They were very confident that they could blend the new floor with the old and they did just an amazing job. You can't even tell where the new floor meets the old. These guys are magicians. They were competent, efficient and kept the work area isolated from the rest of the house. When it was all done, we were just amazed by the quality and beauty of their workmanship on our kitchen floor. And the price was quite reasonable. Jumped in, saved the day, finished our project and saved us money. We started a nightmare flooring project with Home Depot and romanoff renovations. It was terrible, we ended up breaking our contract and the previous homeowner and our neighbor both recommended that we contact best hardwood to complete the project. We are so glad that we did. Cesar came out to give us an estimate the day after I spoke to him, his crew was in shortly after to fix up the start of the project and got all of our new flooring in. I would highly recommend this company. It was a smooth process to work with them . We called. Then in 2 days, Cesar came to take measurements for our project. We received our estimate within 72 hours . Project management Roza was very pleasant to work with. In their store, she showed me the material according to my wishes of colors and products. Later she emailed a few estimates for us : one for only installation , another for installation + LVP material, and one more with different materials. We made a choice to hire them for installation because it was affordable comparing with other companies bids. Moreover, they scheduled installation right away since our project ( 230 sq ft LVP installation) was a small one. Delfino and Anthony came over right on time according to the schedule. It took them less than 2 hours to remove old carpet and replace it with LVP. They were professional, kind and hard working people. They were quick, clean, and efficient so we knew we wanted to used them again at our new house. This time they replaced the old ceramic pink tile flooring with a beautiful LVP. We love it! This company deserves 10 stars in my opinion. I've done several remodels in Southern California where we owned and managed rentals properties. Orange County is the mecca for high class renovations and I've dealt with many vendors and contractors there. We are relatively new to the Carson Valley and bought a ranch with two homes on the property. The main house had carpet and tile which might be ok for some, but it's a ranch with horses and I needed to change that out. I was at a loss, because I don't have the connections here. I was referred to Best Hardwood from a worker from Floor and decor where I found nothing. I entered the beautiful well stocked showroom, where I was greeted by Cesar the owner, I told him what I was looking for and he showed me several great options. He ended up sending me home with several samples and made an appt to come bid my job. The bid came in at a price which I felt was very competitive, comparable and fair. I read the yelp reviews and went with my gut on the good feelings I had from Cesar. Well, the outcome has been fantastic! The staff, Angel particularly was on time, followed my wishes and did an amazing job. I've heard contractors are flakey here in the Carson Valley and Reno, NOT this company! I highly recommend using this company for all your flooring needs. From the beginning, I never had trouble getting ahold of Cesar or the front office staff, and I found them to be honest, dependable and thorough. A little background, we purchased a 3400 sq ft home (right at the start of the quarantine) that needed lots of work done: plumbing, electrical, new walls, and of course new flooring. In spite of the Covid-19 lockdown, Cesar met me multiple times at the property and then at the store on Kietzke. He stayed late and showed us multiple samples and advised us on what the pros and cons of each material would be for our needs. I was adamant that we needed all of the work done within 6 weeks, a very tight schedule when considering the house was going to be torn apart. This company was the ONLY specialty that met the deadline, 2 days early in fact! What's more is we could not be more pleased with the outcome. The design, the flow, the quality of the materials, the professionalism of all workers that entered my home...it was such a relief to see their daily progress and then enjoy the final results! Did a great job on our solid maple installation, including a stairway. Floor has been in for 4 months or so now, and it still looks brand new. No issues so far with shrinkage or expansion or warping or noise or anything. Installers were very friendly and professional. If there was something that they could do in a couple different ways (e.g. thresholds between the wood and the bedrooms that were staying carpeted) they'd always ask us which way we wanted it. In particular they did a great job with the staircase which can be a little tricky. Prices for both materials and labor seem reasonable. Wouldn't hesitate to use again.

I highly recommend them for you flooring needs. They let us take home several samples to make sure we would like our choice. We scheduled our floor installation a month in advance, but our schedule changed and we needed to move it up by two days. They quickly responded that they could come early. They were prompt and efficient. The did a great job and even helped move furniture into the garage. They also recommended a painter to finish the baseboards. Just had Best Hardwood Flooring install LVP over our existing flooring. Angel and Alejandro did the work in about 4 days. They did excellent work. Where the LVP butts up against the stone of the fireplace, it looks like the stone was installed on top of the LVP the job was so good. Cesar was very helpful pointing us to the best product for us and the office staff is very helpful and friendly. This is the second time we have had Best do work for us and are always more than satisfied. I would recommend them to anyoone.
