Artistic Stone and team just installed ~100 sq ft of quartz counters for my new kitchen build. Positives: Very responsive and clear via email. No upcharges and it was a pleasure to have such honest, clear communication. Their office team work well with their fabrication/install team, and my wife and I were happily surprised by how simple they made the whole process. The overall cost was very fair, and the end result is stunning. The quality of the work (seams, edges) was excellent. Negatives: None: we had a great experience and would absolutely recommend.

We had a very positive experience with Artistic Stone. Ben in the salesroom educated us on product selection and promptly sent us a bid (and updated it when we narrowed our choice down). He also pointed us to outside resources so we didn't feel pressured to go with them and knew about other options. When someone else was out, Helen stepped in and updated us (even after hours sometimes). Several folks answered our many questions about the process. David mocked up the design, improved it when we found something better, and then improved it again when he saw another opportunity. Roman and the installation team paid careful attention during the installation. Our kitchen looks great. The number of timely, informed, accurate, and positive interactions we had I believe reflects that it is a well-run operation.

After doing extensive research and visiting numerous stone and kitchen cabinet suppliers around the Bay Area we finally settled on going with Artistic Stone. Factors were: - Great selection of quality quartz and granite - Able to easily source the cabinets that we wanted - Very good reviews - They worked really hard to win our business - Competitive prices It's worth mentioning that we are very particular (even a bit nit-picky) about products and services we buy. No problem. Joe Zhou worked with us and help us through our kitchen design, quartz countertops, and cabinet selection. Joe's post purchase follow-up was also exemplary. He was always available and quick to get back to us regarding any questions and/or concerns we had. The crew that installed our countertops did an excellent job (trust me, I watched every little detail). I cannot say enough about their craftsmanship and work diligence. Very happy with the results and our overall experience with Artistic Stone.

This is the SECOND time we have used Artistic Stone! Always ask and deal with “Helen Wen” when you go there. She knows what she is doing and will guide you all the way. Be prepared to advocate for yourself more than should be necessary if you use this company. We live about 45 min-1 hour from their location. Our neighbor used them and they seemed unconcerned with the distance when we began discussing our remodel with the manager. Emails were frequently returned in the evening hours after the business was closed. They would schedule us behind other jobs, call the day before to confirm an appointment window and then no-show. Our main tiles behind the stove were installed the wrong direction, the bar counter was installed off-level (significantly) and our backsplash has damaged tiles that they "intend" to repair whenever they have a job in the area again. When they initially installed our counters, my husband noticed the bar was off level. He immediately emailed the company and asked if he should do anything that night before it set and they said no, it would be fixable. They then said it was typical to be slightly off level. This was outside the "standard" though and they sent someone out to look at it who agreed, it was "too off level". They determined it wasn't fixable. We told them that was an unacceptable answer. They then decided when they had guys in the area one evening, they would send them to our house to attempt a repair. Keep in mind, we purchased three slabs from the same lot, so an unrepairable bar would have likely meant color and pattern discrepancies. The team was able to uninstall the counter and reinstall it level. For the backsplash we picked what turned out to be a "new" product. It had a raised lip around the edge and we were not told there are no electrical faceplates that would flush mount. We had to find our own solution. During the initial install, a backsplash tile was cracked. They sent the guys out to fix it. When the bar had to be uninstalled, it demolished the top row of tiles along our backsplash. they sent a team out and again we had a problem tile. We went from having a full box of extra tile to them installing our last tile and chipping it in the process. This particular tile is RIGHT at the sink where you stand and notice it. They decided to close out our invoice and billed us for the balance of the work. My husband emailed the manager and did not get a response. He sent another email asking if we could at least purchase some extra tile so we could get the work repaired and were told because it was a new product, they had no way to know it would be so fragile. They agreed to order extra tile and would send a tile person out to repair once they had someone in our area. We started our kitchen counter/backsplash overhaul in October 2020, they installed in November 2020 and did repairs in December 2020. It is now nearly March 2021 and we have finally given up hope that they will correct their work and we are stuck with damaged backsplash. I love my kitchen and the stone we selected, but I would not use this company again.

Helen was so helpful in finding amazing countertops for our outdoor kitchen. She discussed different material options with us and then helped us to find the one we liked the most at a price we could afford. Her installers were friendly, thorough, and did great quality work. Our counters hairline cracked upon installing but they replaced the piece quickly and with no fuss. Their warehouse has lots of options. Would highly recommend!

Many years ago we ended up finding the perfect quartz slabs from Artistic stone. I recall the service was mediocre, but no major issues (I recall they had recommended that the slab seam be located in the middle of the countertop, until I requested the seam be behind the sink faucet). Fast forward to 2025 and I reached out for a quote and Benjamin responded via email within 24 hours. He was so responsive so we decided to pop by to take a look at their inventory. They have a great selection of slabs and prefab stones and Benjamin was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and had an eye for detail. Our project is very simple and straightforward, but the prices were reasonable and I am so excited for the stone we chose!

Save yourself a lot of time, money and frustration and call Artistic Stone first! So we've waited forever to remodel our kitchen and had heard so many horror stories of jobs gone bad, but I am here to say that you can skip all of that if you call Artistic Stone. Start to finish, the customer service was superb. From the folks helping us choose our quartz who were very knowledgeable and generous with their time and never tried to steer us in any particular direction, to the speed with which they scheduled and executed our job and the flawless project management (thank you, David!) and the quality of the workmanship, we could not be happier. They worked hard to accommodate our build schedule, and the installers were so helpful and responsive to any questions we had or adjustments we wanted to make. When there was a minor issue we called David and it was immediately addressed - and I mean immediately, the same day. And did I mention the savings?? We are in the north bay and had gotten an estimate from another company up here which was around 40% higher. Yikes! Artistic Stone is a great company and we absolutely love our new kitchen. We will definitely use them again if we ever move and need countertops or backsplash again - if we could give them more than 5 stars we would!

The best thing about buying our new pre-fab quartz countertops from Artistic Stone was their kindness and their professionalism. We needed just over two slabs of quartz in a specific pattern, color, and price. Alan and Helen were always patient, incredibly generous in working with us to meet our (very limited by that point) budget, and they made sure what was installed was beautiful. When their installers forgot to drill the holes for the sink, Helen made sure they came back the next day to finish it up. As first time homeowners, first time remodelers, first time everything we visited everything from the very high end custom-fab stores to the super discount stores. We purchased our beautiful Quartz counters from Artistic Stone in San Leandro with the help of Helen there who went above and beyond to get us the pieces we needed. I can't say enough good things about this business. We're finishing up our renovation and we got our beautiful Quartzite countertop and (subway) porcelain tiles as backsplash at Artistic Stone. The experience was so easy, smooth, and stress-free from start to finish. I only wish I had also gotten my cabinets from Artistic Stone and just had them install everything for us: cabinets, countertop, and backsplash. First off, a big THANK YOU to Alan Trujillo. From the first day we walked in, although we had a vague idea of what we wanted, we still didn't know where to start. Alan was so professional and very patient with us. He showed us different stones, educated us on how it's made, the quality, the different types, etc... and if there was something he wasn't sure of, he made sure to follow up with us and gave us the info we asked for by the end of the day. We didn't choose anything on our first visit, we told Alan we will come back. Then we returned a couple more times after our initial visit because we still couldn't decide whether to go with Artistic Stone or another local business in the area. But each time we came back, Alan had the same attitude; very patient, very professional. He was not a "pushy salesman" - NO pressure at all! He was just happy to see us back and patiently answered our questions. He didn't leave us and helped other customers either. It felt like a very personalized customer service and we appreciated that so much. So we ordered our beautiful Quartzite countertop. Alan helped us pick the prefab slabs that will go together. He went through the measurements with us and guided us on which part to cut, etc.... It was so easy and it felt good leaving the store that day. As promised, Alan sent an email notification on the same day regarding our installation and template schedule. Helen, is awesome! She took over from there, and any emails I sent with questions, Helen answered promptly even on the days the store is closed! Just OUTSTANDING customer service! After installation, Helen sent an email right away checking to make sure everything went well and if there were any problems with the countertop. The installers were punctual and courteous. And I LOVE MY BEAUTIFUL QUARTZITE countertop! It looks even more beautiful than when we picked it in the showroom. It's flawless. You have to look hard to look for that seam (good luck!). It's that flawless. Like I said, if I can have a do-over, I will purchase my ENTIRE kitchen materials & finishes at Artistic Stone (cabinets, countertop, backsplash, flooring), AND also have them install everything for me, for a stress-free, worry-free process. Peace of mind is priceless especially when you're doing a major renovation project. This is a copy of the email I sent to Helen Wen. " We spoke briefly when I left your San Leandro location on Monday at closing time. My compliments to your staff. I called you from Floor & Decor in Milpitas and was helped by Benjamin. Without any hesitation, he clarified what I needed and sent photos reflecting my needs very quickly. I used his optimism and photos to justify the long drive north to your warehouse. Upon arrival, Ben was relaxed and attentive while reviewing my choices. I ended up with perfect stones for my client. Next he got permission (watching out for liability concerns) to use a couple of long boards from the top of a casket of 110" backsplashes to transport my selections. His flexibility was unusual. Then your two warehouse workers in the LAST 5 MINUTES of their shift helped me load the two pieces in my station wagon. The senior guy made suggestions on improved transport safety. I gave them a small tip each even though they were gracious in not wanting to accept the cash. I insisted. You are fortunate to have such fine employees on your staff. From sales through execution, I was very pleased with the service from Artistic Stone. I have previously gone to them for granite counters for kitchen and bathroom, and this time I wanted to replace my kitchen counters with quartz. When we went to the warehouse, Jake was very helpful in showing us the various pre-fab samples and giving us an estimate of cost. I had scheduled installation about 6 weeks out as I was going to be out of town. A few days before installation, they contacted me to see if I could move the start date to one day later and they assured me it could be completed in one day versus the original estimate of about 1.5 days. The two installers (Marcus and Gregory) are very competent hard workers. They arrived on time and worked through until after 7pm to complete the job. Marcus in particular is very experienced and was able to make the cuts on site, thus eliminating the need to measure, cut elsewhere and return to install. He did a great job with the seams and the measurements. He understood my need to offset the faucet so that my shutters would be able to open on one side. In retrospect, I think that the office should have allowed 1.5 days so that these guys could take a break, lunch and not have to push to complete the job in one day. But I am happy with the results!

We decided it was time to upgrade our kitchen counter tops. We did our research and visited many show rooms and after much for thought decided to go with or bid from Jake at Artistic Stone. Now that our install is complete I have to say I can't think of one thing that didn't go well or as we were told by them. The team they sent out for both demo and install were fantastic, I have nothing but praise for them and their work. I guess what I am saying is they were the least costly and most professional company to deal with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for stone work. One very happy customer here :-).

Artistic Stone Kitchen and Bath replaced our kitchen countertops. We are extremely happy with the outcome, can't believe it was done in two days. So appreciate Helen's time with us in choosing the pieces and working out placement. Chris, the installer, did a magnificent job there are two seams that are practically invisible you would never know they were there he also matched the veins extremely well. Dave, the project manager was very responsive, there was one adjustment needed and he sent someone out within a half hour. Helen also coordinated needed electrical and plumbing. It truly was the easiest project we have ever done. I Would highly recommend this company to anybody needing a kitchen remodel

The staff at the show room were friendly, informative, and attentive. The installation guys were no nonsense and very clear with what they needed to do the job. They made sure we were happy with where the seams were placed and other details. They were quick and I'm particularly impressed with the seam work. I just had my kitchen completed with countertops from Artistic Stone. Jake Tran was amazing and helped me with every detail very patiently, while I went through nearly every sample in the store, and which he called the manufacturer for availability for every one of them! He was very patient with my many changes and questions and got me on the schedule right away. Everyone at Artistic Stone is so pleasant to work with because they are so friendly and helpful, they treat you like family! The installation team was amazing and addressed every issue and concern that I had. I called David the construction manager at the San Leandro store with a very minor issue and he had it taken care of right away. They did a beautiful job of installation on a complicated project, because of a low window that we had to accommodate. I got the top of the line material for the best price! In the end, Artistic Stone got back to me and let me know that there was actually enough material left over to install cabinets in my dining room as well, which saved me a ton of money on that project! They had their crew move around pieces so we could see them next to each other to envision a waterfall etc. and taped up pieces to help us address concerns on seams. After thorough research across all the bay area, numerous showroom visits and multiple estimates, we decided to go with Artistic Stone for our kitchen remodel, and we were not disappointed! First, Benjamin was absolutely lovely in the showroom. So helpful, knowledgeable and "on my side" when it comes to being mindful of cost and strategically spending across the different aspects of the remodel. Refreshingly, he was aboslutely lovely, contrary to the many condescending or dismissive sales folks I had encountered at other vendors. The estimate was very reasonable / competitive for the quality, and their stones are beautiful. The project management is really well done (a person is actually dedicated to you and coordinates all the parts between demolition, plywood, install, cleaning etc). The crew was fantastic - real pros, with extreme attention to detail. The countertops they installed (bianco carrerra) are stunning and totally transformed the kitchen. They were great to work with, and provided great advice on how to deal with the sink/ faucet aspects. I can't recommend them more! I have had estimates 2 times higher than them and am really grateful of the quality and service, especially for this price. Thank you Artistic Stone!

Artistic Stone's name and Yelp reviews honestly freaked me out. It sounded super fancy, their website is super fancy, and they have an active and well-regarded Yelp page. This usually signals to me that a company is probably out of reach for us financially in comparison to smaller businesses without the internet savvy marketing and clientele reviews to yet inflate their prices. My spouse and I went to many countertop companies when searching for slabs of that marble-look quartz, including lesser-reviewed places without internet presence and large box home improvement at stores. We did a lot of research regarding name brands and country of origin for quartz, as well as considered warrantys. One of the most important things to me was the ability to create a singular slab for our peninsula so there's no seam there as well as incredible seaming work so where there unfortunately needed to be some, it would not be horrendous like some examples I have seen. When compared to other independently owned countertop stores, Artistic Stone wasn't the cheapest. There were two other places with cheaper, but they hid their costs in their installation costs instead. **Keep this in mind! Find out labor costs!**. In the end, it only appears as if Artistic Stone costs more than Granite Expo or whatever cheaper stores; when they put in all their installation fees, it all is in the wash. In comparison to large box stores, Home Depot actually came back to us with an equivalent quote but for a Made in US name brand quartz with extended decades+ warranty during their frequent sales. But the problem is that they contract out their installs and there is no way to guarantee their seaming work. Additionally, they were not able to produce a single slab to cover our whole peninsula, and that was an absolute must for us. Perhaps if one got a single-color countertop with no designs, it wouldn't be a big of a deal, but for ours, it was a make or break consideration. Benjamin was the original salesperson to help me pick out the pieces, and Helen helped us another day to get down to the nitty gritty in terms of matching seams from one piece to another. The way their minds conceptualize this all is astonishing; I got dizzy turning my head upside down trying to understand. Now this isn't to say our order came without a hitch, but that was not on Artistic Stone at all. In fact, Helen saved our asses. What really sealed the deal was Artistic Stone's installers. They have incredible staff, and Helen, Samuel, and the overseeing installation/foreman guy (forget his name) were flawless. Our kitchen is upstairs, we have narrow U-shaped stairs and there was no way to safely get the large peninsula piece of quartz that weighs hundreds of pounds with the 6-8 full grown muscle men to hold it. To say I was devastated is an understatement when they said I had to cut it and place a seam, and I just did not accept that since it was one of the main reasons we went with Artistic Stone. So Helen and her staff came by our house twice to figure out options. In the end, Helen helped us hire and coordinate renting a forklift and driver to bring the peninsula piece all in one piece to our kitchen. She took care of it all including calling for multiple quotes. Ya'll. The proof is in the pudding. Check out our photos and videos. We are incredibly proud of our new countertops and have all the best things to say about Artistic Stone and their team. If customer service as well as fine workmanship is important to you, you will have no regrets at all!

They walked us through all the steps, showed us a range of countertop materials/options, worked with our budget/design needs, and the installation teams were great. Our installation ended being unnaturally complex (due to the way the previous counters and cabinets were built/installed), but the team was able to perform everything and on times. Artistic Stone did a fabulous job on our kitchen countertops. I absolutely loved their showroom/warehouse with clearly labeled materials. Their prices are fair and their installation was flawless. They were able to complete the job sooner than expected and were responsive to my questions throughout the process. Make sure to have your sink and fixtures at the installation site. I had our sink and faucet ready to go and knew exactly where I wanted them placed. This makes the installation time efficient. We are so happy with Artistic Stone. We first used Artistic Stone 5 years ago for our kitchen remodel with granite. Since then we've recommended them to friends, and most recently we hired them to install Quartzite counters on our new outdoor kitchen. The staff is extremely friendly and responsive. Our experience with Artistic Stone has been positive. They recently did my kitchen counters and backsplash. I initially had met a couple of times with Jesse in the MV location, but after visiting the San Leandro warehouse I began working with Jake Tran, who provided me with an initial quote. Both Jesse and Jake were extremely professional and great to work with, as we planned the project and had lots of questions. Both were very responsive to all my emails, answered my never ending questions, and Jake graciously put up with several changes by me along the way. One thing that seemed odd, is that once I started working with Jake in San Leandro and got the initial quote, I needed to trek up from Mountain View to San Leandro a couple of more times and no longer was able to visit the Mountain View store - even to just look at slabs. Perhaps in non pandemic times - this would have been different. I did shop around to look at kitchens and counter tops and got quotes from one other place, but went with Artistic Stone due to Yelp reviews and a neighbor's positive recommendation and experience with them. They had a nice selection of prefab slabs as well as custom and designer materials, and took the time to explain the different countertop materials. Unfortunately my first choices for materials were not readily available, but didn't want to wait and so settled with another material. After finalizing the quote and making a deposit for all the materials up front, I anxiously waited to hear back to schedule, which was the next day. Apparently they have been extremely busy, but was glad to be able to get on the schedule about 3 weeks out. From the time we were on the schedule through completion, Helen was responsive to any emails and questions I had, and always on top of the schedule and coordinating everything. The instructions on what was expected of us was clear, and the crew that came to demo and remove my old countertops were great. They were polite, professional, and very hard working. They cleaned up well afterwards. Because I previously had granite tiles with concrete underneath, it was probably a difficult job and as a result will need to patch up some visible sections of our drywall that slightly crumbled. Not a big deal, and inevitable - given the previous granite tile installation. Next (arriving punctually that same day) was Samuel and his crew to lay the plywood and make the template. They were all also fantastic (I wish I got all their names) as they carefully measured and prepared the template. They were always very courteous, considerate and professional, and did a great job installing the counter and full backsplash, as well as clean up. It seems that they take a lot of pride in their work. I am really impressed and very happy with the install and the work they did. There were some last minute stressful snafus days before the install when it seemed we might have to make some changes to initial plans and measurements, but it all worked out. We are very happy with our new Quartz counter tops!

I'm so glad our handyman referred us to Artistic Stone. Jake helped us with our project from start to finish. Without him, the kitchen remodel would not have happened. We told him what we had in mind, and he selected everything for us from what inventory had knew could be sourced quickly. The whole project was finished within a month. We never set foot in the store. Jake managed the whole project with us through phone and email, including pictures of cabinets and quartz countertops that he recommended. The contractor he placed us with was efficient, professional, and did a great job putting everything together per spec. We definitely would return to Artistic Stone again for any future remodeling projects, and only wish we had found Jake sooner.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Artistic Stone. The quality of the stone is excellent and the customer service superb!! My husband and I picked out two beautiful quartz slabs. We were lucky to find two that matched outside where there are deeply discounted slabs, mostly one-offs, left over from a job or discontinued. Helen was extremely patient and kind, going to great lengths to help us find exactly what we wanted to fit our budget. She is very professional and knowledgeable. After my husband reconnected the plumbing, rust got into the caulk that wasn't quite dry, Helen offered to have the workmen come back and replace the dirty areas, even though it was our fault. First things first. 100 percent of the time,and every time we had any contact with Artistic Stone Kitchen and Bath employees, they followed Covid-19 safety protocols. I first called to see if we could come in after reading lots of Yelp reviews. Min, the very friendly woman who answered, transferred me to Helen. I discussed what we wanted and we set up a time to go into the shop. Min showed us around while we waited to meet Helen. I was impressed by the inventory, options, and the organized manor in which the stone was displayed. We then met Helen and we began to develop our plan to transform our kitchen. We bought larger pieces of quartz for our kitchen countertops so we wouldn't have seams.( really glad we did) We picked the tile we wanted and soon had the quote in our hands. We liked what we saw and we decided to sign the quote! A team came in, demo'd the original counter and wall surfaces coverings. A few days later or stone arrived and was installed. The next day the tile team professionals came in and did the tile work. The job was not completed fast but it was done correctly by people I felt confident about. My wife and I feel like we are standing in someone else's kitchen! I mean we have been in a lot of other peoples kitchens that looked great but we never had one like this! Our kitchen! Yes it is! Now all we need is that bathroom we've seen but never had. We will be returning to see Helen and look forward to working on that. Kitchen and bath remodel is serious work and costs serious money. I can say with complete confidence that we were treated fairly, with respect, and received every penny's worth of our investment. With cabinets installed, countertops were the last big remaining item for our kitchen remodeling project. We really liked the depth and robustness of quartzite vs. quartz. There are a lot vendors out there with many beautiful stone slabs. We found the prices can vary a lot, which get doubled when you account for fabrication and installation. Artistic Stone carries prefabricated quartzite sections, which helps reduce cost considerably if you find a stone color you like. We found a counter stone we really liked and were able to pick the specific sections we wanted. Installation went really well and we were really pleased. We worked with Jake and what we really liked was that on multiple occasions he gave us very honest answers to our questions (and sometimes suggestions), where I'm sure he could have sold us that "one more thing". We are very happy with our countertops, and highly recommend Artistic Stone. If they have what you want, it will save you quite a bit of money. They are definitely worth visiting.

We ordered Quartzite countertops for our new home in 2019 from Artistic Stones. The Taj Mahal Quartzite is still beautiful. During installation, we encountered a few operational issues. Helen, the Manager and David, the Project Manager were proactive and effectively resolved them. Last month we decide to renovate a recently vacated rental house in San Jose. I checked out a few countertops places first before contacting Helen. I wanted an idea of prices. I met with Helen at their San Leandro facility. I had already selected three different quartz options from their website for comparison. Helen's opinion on each one were insightful and helpful in my making the final decision. Demolition and installation took two days. During demolition, we discovered that there were a few odd configurations in the kitchen. Helen came through with excellent suggestions reflecting her experience in working with countertops. The installation was complete yesterday. I am currently out of town and have not yet seen the final result. My son-in-law said the countertops were "great". And he is a man who does not use superlatives loosely. I don't know if Artistic Stones prices are competitive but they are comparable as I did not do actual pricing comparison. There are too many variables. However, I am comfortable in saying that I do trust Helen's expertise with stone countertops. When designing, buying, and installing stone countertops, what's important to me is the company's willingness to work with you whether to offer expert advice or fix a problem. Additwe got to choose our own quartz slabs that were to be installed in our renovated kitchen in our dream house. Everybody we worked with at the San Leandro location have been wonderful. We recently renovated our kitchen and worked with Helen and her team to get our countertops installed. I picked out the quartz over FaceTime during shelter in place at the point when we couldn't go into stores any longer. Helen sent me multiple options and answered any questions I had. Artistic Stone installed marble kitchen countertops in my downstairs unit in my duplex. There were many pieces which needed to be cut because there was so much surface area. The installers were friendly and provided great communication. There was a section which need a small amount of demo to make the marble fit and they did it quickly with no problem. They also installed quartz countertops in my upstairs unit and they came out very nice and the pricing was great. I would go to them with additional projects in the future with no question.
