Lyle along with with his crew were amazing!!! Very knowledgeable. Answered all my questions/concerns before , during and after installation. They are licensed. The fabricator , Juan is brilliant! I had custom Ogie bullnose edging and a dreaded seam . All turned out fantastic! The dreaded seem.... nearly non existent!!!!! Family have a hard time pointing it out! I have had granite counter Tops at a prior home installed from another company and was very disappointed and very apprehensive to go through this process again. Applegate's and the owner Lyle are wonderful can't say enough good about them.I would absolutely recommend them for all your next kitchen counter/ remodeling needs!

The granite from AZ tile was great. This review is a year old but there’s been some stuff that I can’t let go. My install was during spring break when the owner was gone. Not sure if that’s part of the issue. Some details… during the install the tile guy was complaining about how fast he needed to do this job and how many he had to do. He also was telling another guy “ this isn’t my fault” when I asked what later he said the tile looks crooked but it’s the build of the house not his fault… okay. I guess I’ll just deal with it looking crooked. The installer didnt add edging around the tile backsplash but did around the window so that looks odd. He said he would have had to charge for it… wish I would have know when I set up the bid that it didn’t include everything. They did not caulk the line between the tile and granite and now that’s cracked all along the counters. They left the electrical out and touching so it burnt one of the switches and they were stuck together. They left a ton of residue from cutting stuff in our rocks out front and filled up both my trash cans (luckily the next day was trash day). They said they could save the cut outs as cutting boards but then the installers said that’s not a thing. They did give me a couple but from a different granite. The tile setter also cut my screen on my window over my sink but ignored me when I mentioned it. They tried to do the install in a day and a half . I know cause the guy was complaining the whole time about needing to be in Barstow the next day for another job. So much grout was left unfinished that I had to call and ask for them to come back. He had to spend another 4 or 5 hours after he said he was done and I had to call and ask. Not sure if they were suppose to seal the tile grout but they didn’t. Theres also still some glue that stained my carpet and after 2 deep cleanings still can’t get out. There’s probably more I’m forgetting but it’s been a year. I was bummed because they were a higher bid but I was referred to them by someone I trusted who worked in the industry for years. So it’s kind of a bummer. I wish I had asked more and been more pushy with basic stuff and covered ALL details.

Lyle Applegate missed the delivery dates time after time after time. He left big splotches of glue on my countertops that I cannot remove. He was supposed to come to my home and repair the countertops that began coming apart 2 weeks after being installed. Again, he failed to show up, call me or otherwise make any effort to correct his faulty work. I DO NOT recommend this guy to anyone. He is rude, uncaring and extremely unprofessional. I paid a lot of money for a horrible job.

We had Applegate install new counters. A big 5 stars to them. Lyle and his team provided excellent customer service. Chris definitely showed pride in his workmanship and paid close attention to detail. I would 100 percent recommend Applegate for your remodeling jobs.

I am extremely happy with my new countertops. Before meeting with Lyle, I had met with many different businesses in the high desert and on the other side of the hill. Most of the businesses I had met with gave me a very poor impression. They gave me overpriced bids and most were trying to sell me pre-fabricated granite when I specifically said that I did not want that. When I met with Lyle, he listened to what I was looking for and had samples for me to choose from. The turn around time from the time we met for an estimate to getting our countertops was also great. His crew was very diligent when installing the product. They were able to install the product quickly without cutting any corners. I would HIGHLY recommend using Applegate's Custom Countertops.

Lyle and his crew are very professional and make sure you are happy at all times. They took the time to answer all my questions. They did my kitchen counter and backsplash. It is exactly what I wanted and is beautiful. I am having them come back to do my bathroom counters and back splash. They are a great company to work with!

I found Applegate's Custom Countertops here on Google. It had good reviews so contacted them about my kitchen renovation. Lyle was prompt and professional from beginning to end. He even came by with samples because our schedule would not allow for us to get to his show room. His crew came and installed them yesterday. They are amazing, even more than we expected. They are professionals and have customer service which should be modeled after. Big thanks to Lyle, Chris and Matt. If I have any countertop needs I'll be contacting them in the future.
