American Marble is a treasure hidden by LAX. They are third generation family run business that pay attention to details and have an excellent customer service. They also have a large stockyard with a big selection of stones to use on floors, walls and counter tops. What ever your want or need is they can get it an excellent price. They offer great advice and are friendly and follow up to make sure you are happy. I will not hesitate to use them again and tell all my friends. They are the BEST!!

Even though we were a very small project (bathroom vanity top) Jan treated us as if we were a whole house project. She not only worked with us to stay in budget but also made recommendations on how to capitalize on the new counter top with sink and faucet suggestions. Our vanity looks like a million dollars!

We were driving down S La Cienega, saw Amercian Marble and stopped. We had been looking and researcing stone yards in LA for at least a month. Janet, one of the owners was just locking up at 4 PM, but when she saw that we were interested in a piece of Quartz for our bathroom countertop, she walked us through the yard, explained the process and was extremely helpful. Later that week, I made an appointment, Janet helpd me pick out just the right piece. The price was right. The vibe was easy. Her brother Steve came over took measurement and they did a perfect job. I highly recommend American Marble and Onyx... it's a family owned business that is serious, considerate, knowledgeable , and knows how to make their customers happy.

I had been to 8 different places trying to find a piece of Marble for my living room built-in. When I walked in and met Janet I knew I was in the right place. Janet was very honest about what was available and the pricing. She showed me that what I was getting was the right choice for me...even if it was a teeney bit more than I wanted to spend. Now that it's installed I know she lead me to the correct decision. I wouldn't have been happy by saving $100 and not been happy with the end result. Was also had a small crack in our existing Cesarstone. They came in, assessed the crack. Explained the limitations. The end result was 10 times better than expected. We are so thrilled with the result.

Had a crack in the granite countertop near the kitchen sink, which kept widening and needed repair. On contacting American Marble and Onyx about the problem, they immediately knew that the crack was in the part in front of the sink, and even suspected correctly that the granite was not installed properly (by another company) in the first place--all this without even being told where the crack was located! The repair involved finding a well-matched piece of granite, then very careful measurements and installation with a lot of attention to detail and prompt service. The repaired area looks great, blends in, and has held up very well. Would definitely recommend American Marble and Onyx without reservation for any kind of granite or other stone installation or service.

We recently worked with American Marble & Onyx replace part of the granite in our kitchen and to replace our master bathroom counter with marble. We are delighted with the results. The stone is gorgeous, especially the Italian marble. From beginning to end, Steve, Janet, and Susan were great to work with! We love that it's a family-owned local business. But the company is also set apart by the quality of their stone and their workmanship. We could not recommend their work more highly. It was a wonderful experience!

My first review ever and long overdue! I ordered a small granite counter for my dining room to match an existing one.I needed a rare color- green,which I was advised is Chinese Jade. Price did seem a little steep,but I decided to go with a local El Segundo business since all workers are from El Segundo and I have a great trust in El Segundo community. It took them a while to make it and once the granite was installed I almost broke in tears.Not that it was done incorrectly, opposite! The piece was perfectly done, however it was too dark and looked almost black for the spot it was ordered for and didn't match the existing piece.I was really disappointed. Wend back to the shop and before I even addressed the issue was told that they are going to make it right with me! I was told that even the piece was done correctly and it's due to the natural color variation. The stone is darker than I expected. Their goal is to make customers happy and they will redo the job for no cost to me!!! What a great attitude! Needless to mention that this time they took me to the stone yard to pick the slab with exact color, to make sure it's exactly what I have in mind. When the counter was installed, we couldn't be happier with it. Every time I'm passing it by I'm blessing these people and the company. Amazing experience! Thank you again!

I would not hesitate for a moment to start another project with this family-owned business. Steve and his team are highly professional and expeditious, and their attention to detail has taken my kitchen remodel from basic to dreamy. As this was my first major home improvement project, there were a handful of details I hadn't considered (the finish on the edges of my backsplash, the color of the grout, and some quirks unique to my kitchen) that Steve and Mike were able to explain the options for fully, as well as offer their expert opinion. They have made me feel as though I am the most important customer they've ever had and are truly wonderful people. In less than 4 days my countertops have been installed and backsplash complete. When I'm ready to remodel my bathrooms, I will be sure to call them. Thanks guys!

I have used American Marble & Onyx Company on 2 of my home project. They customized and installed a Granite kitchen countertop and they also did a outdoor Granite kitchen countertop for me. I just finished a custom bathroom in my house. The marble counter top was the last item installed. The finishing work in any project is in the details, and American Marble made sure that the details were perfect. Janet, and the entire staff, were a pleasure to work with. They went out of their way to help me pick the perfect stone for this unusual bathroom. It was cut to perfection to fit a custom cabinet we had made. Their attention to detail; their advice in picking the stone, and the fact that they came in on time and on budget are some of the reasons they deserve the highest praise. They have my highest recommendation.

Wonderful family owned business - Janet was amazing! So helpful with the overwhelming task of choosing granite countertop material & then finding the exact slabs we loved! Steve so helpful with measurements & directing the prep work for install. Minimized seams & reworked layout to accommodate exact layout we wanted. Fabricators definitely paid attention to details - Quartzite material super hard & they took their time to get it right - even with us waiting impatiently for the install date. Workmanship on finished countertops was impeccable! We could not be happier with our countertops & our experience with the entire team at American Marble.

Over many years our family has bought several finished marble and granite pieces from American Marble and Onyx. Every piece has been carefully cut and finished. We have been extremely happy with the results each and every time. They are a quality company from start to finish. This is a family business and you can tell by the way they really care about their customers. The last piece we ordered was a ten foot piece of marble to go on our new bay window. It turned out spectacular! When it was installed the attention to detail was amazing! If I could give this company 10 stars I would!! I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Sad to say we are not happy for the job they did on my buffet table they got the wrong measurements on the ends of the table and they didn't do anything right even putting the stone with the clear cement onto the buffet table it's not even or straight and the stone sticks up on the left side of the table. And they always send a different person to do the job never is the same person, then they always have a excuse when things are not right!!! They say that they been in business for 50 years... Well in my end they are not professionals as they seems to me in the beginning, when I first meet them. I would never recommend anyone to them. And with all the money that we paid for $$$$$ she only gave us $90.00 discount never again!!!! All I wanted is for everything be done right by a professional!!!!
