Damaged our floor (ripped the linoleum) in the kitchen while replacing the countertops. They didn't tell us when the damage occurred, we saw it after they left and had to try and resolve it after they were gone. They did own up to doing the damage but still have not resolved it (it has been 2 months of back and forth). Our linoleum pattern has been discontinued, so a patch repair is not possible, which makes this repair particularly costly. At this point, I can't recommend this company because it would not meet the ethical standards that I would want to see in a contractor. If you do work with them, make sure you withhold the final payment until you inspect for any damage that could have occurred, so you don't end up with an additional $1200 of work that needs to be done like we did. On the bright side - the countertops look great if you don't get distracted by the big rip in the floor in the middle of our kitchen...hopefully I can update this review with a happy ending but wanted to make sure to warn any potential customers so you don't go through the headache we've been through.

An Amazing partner. I emailed Jack a dimensioned countertop drawing I made in PowerPoint along with my preferred stone color. Jack quoted my preferred color and a similar color available as scrap from another customers job. I went with the scrap piece at a huge discount. Jack had it fabricated and ready for pickup in less than a week. High quality work. The piece looks wonderful.

I highly highly recommend Amazing Stone, without reservation. Out of all of the various contractors and installers I’ve worked with, Jack was by far the best. He and I went back and forth many times fine-tuning specifications to find a way to bring costs down, and to adjust the design many times. Through all of that he always responded within the day, with prompt and thorough responses. He’s a great communicator and always happy to work through the details with you. Their onsite team was the same. They were professional, thoughtful and thorough, and talked through all of the details on site. They listened carefully to what I was asking for, clarified and made useful suggestions, and followed through. During install, their work was efficient and clean and precise… they worked very carefully and diligently over details, seams, and edges, and took real pride in getting everything just right. On top of it all, they even managed to finish the project one week in advance, as they had a cancellation and slipped me in at the last minute. Amazing Stone were genuinely focused on the quality of the project. They have a work ethic that is very rare. I trust them a lot, and couldn’t recommend them more.

If you need a countertop or looking to do a kitchen remodel, look no further than this hidden gem. Jack is an absolute pleasure to work with. He's patient and exceptionally helpful. What's more is that the quote was transparent and far better priced than HomeDepot or other vendors. I really appreciated how easy it was to get the project done. This was one of the most simple and reassuring experience I've ever had. I'm looking forward to doing more projects with Amazing Stone.

I loved working with Amazing Stone for my custom bar countertop project! From my first email thread with Dariel to visiting their showroom in-person to installation day — everything was clearly communicated and well executed. I had to purchase a full quartz slab for my custom-sized bar countertop and Amazing Stone happened to have the perfect piece in stock at a reasonable price. After meeting their team in-person, I decided to also hire them for fabrication and installation. We had countless conversations about what I wanted (full backsplash with a ledge, horizontal outlet cutouts, mitered edge, negative reveal for an undermount sink) and they were able to explain everything in detail, made sure the sink I wanted would fit the limited dimensions and provided a visual of where the quartz would be cut for design purposes. On the day of installation, Luis and his team arrived on time and put everything together effortlessly in just a few hours. They made my vision come to life and it makes me so happy every time I see my countertop :) I would hire them again in an instant and highly recommend the Amazing Stone team!

Luis did an AMAZing job organizing everything. We came into the warehouse and he showed us different brands and materials. He worked with our budget and what I really appreciate is that he drew out how the two slabs of quartz would be utilized. This was awesome because we realized we had quartz for the bathroom countertop and backsplash. A few days before install one of the workers came in to make final measurements and then the day of the install 4 guys came to do a demolition and installation all within one day. It was epic! Super efficient and superb job. This company was great to work with and I recommend it to everyone!

I had been looking to change my granite countertops to quartz, and finding a reliable and well-priced contractor was surprisingly difficult. I ended up going with Amazing Stone because of Dariel's quality customer service, good advice, and great stone options. The fabricator and installer was also a joy to work with. He found a way to create my pieces with no seams (which was tricky given my kitchen layout and location), and he demo'ed and installed the countertops quickly and nicely. Overall, it was such a pleasure to work with Dariel and his team. I'll be calling on him again for future remodels.

I am grateful for having engaged and entrusted Amazing Stone to fabricate and install the pricey quartzite slabs I had bought into stunning new countertops and backsplashes. The father-son team instilled confidence through their responsiveness and precise measurements. The configuration of the countertops was complex, requiring meticulous attention to detail. They were undaunted by maneuvering a ~500-pound section of the stone safely into our home and situatating it delicately into a newly-crafted passthrough from kitchen to dining room. They took great care to minimize seams and where they were necessary managed to integrate the random patterns of the quartzite into a natural flow pleasing to the eye. The team of three accomplished the complete install in just one day and did well to clean up after themselves. Highest recommendation.

I recently hired Amazing Stone to replace my tile kitchen countertops with natural stone and all I can say is WOW. Dariel and his team were extremely professional, quick to respond, and completely transparent about pricing. In fact, of the 4 contractors I met with for this project Amazing Stone was the only company to give a detailed price breakdown of labor and materials. Dariel took the time to walk me through each variety of countertop stone so I was able to make an informed decision about the type of stone that would be right for my home and family. After discussing marble, quartzite, quartz and granite I was able to confidently select granite for my project. Dariel went above and beyond doing all the leg work and research - reaching out to suppliers to price out all of the slabs that caught my interest. If you're looking for incredible service, value and quality, Amazing Stone is the answer. 10/10 I recommend and will hire again for future projects.

These guys did an absolutely amazing job on my kitchen countertops! They were prompt, communicative, reasonably priced, and the work looks great! This review is a bit belated as they did the work back in March, but I can happily attest that three months later, the counters look just as good as the day they were installed. Thank you again!

I am so happy to have found Dariel and Luis at Amazing Stone. It is SO SO refreshing to work with a company that has excellent and timely communication, made the process super easy and THE WORK LOOKS FANTASTIC!!! Everyone we interacted with at Amazing Stone was wonderful. At the showroom we met Luis and Dariel who patiently answered our questions as we chose the material we wanted to work with. After removing the tile that we had previously in our kitchen, I found rot and asked if we could reschedule for the following day. They graciously rescheduled. And the installation was precise and efficient. The final product looks great!

Amazing Stone did an absolutely fantastic job on our new kitchen countertops. The manager, Jack, responded quickly to all our email questions, was very clear about costs and timing, and offered many options for getting the stone we wanted. They were able to accommodate all our various sizing and style issues, were able to extend our countertop to make it deeper than the old tile had been, and so on. When it came time to do the actual demolition and installation, they arrived exactly on time, and got everything done in a single day even though they had budgeted two. The team did an excellent job keeping the area clean, and cleaning up dust and debris afterward. We love our new countertops, and would use Amazing Stone again in a heartbeat for any new projects!

After contacting several companies who do countertops, I was getting nowhere. "No, you don't need a contract." "You can buy the quartz through this guy. Oh, his phone number has been disconnected? " "We'll take out the exiting counters and get back to you as soon as possible." "When? Well, it depends how busy we are." Finally, I found Amazing Stone in San Leandro, CA and called to see if I could come by with my measurements. Jany, the owner, knew what she was talking about and after getting her quote, I had my person. A signed contract, too. They would remove existing quartz counter and backsplash and install the new the same day. A few days later, Jany emailed me photos of the slabs. She had gone to MSI to confirm the product. On 2/14, measurements were taken. On 2/28, existing countertops and backsplash was removed and new installed - all in 6-1/2 hours. The team, Luis, Nico and Mario were professional and true craftsmen. Towards the end of the day, Jany called to make sure I was happy. I was and I am. For more details, see: https://www.decorbook.com/single-post/places-we-go-my-kitchen

We had a great experience with Amazing Stone. The store manager, Jack, communicates extremely efficiently and timely. He is also very knowledgeable and patient. Everything was super clear! No hidden cost, and completed everything they promised on schedule. Jack made the entire experience very stress-free for us. The other staff member, Jany, was also very patient and helpful. The crew who came over to do the demolition and installation did a great job too. We noticed a minor issue after the job and told the store managers. They made the crew come out right away and took care of everything perfectly. I am so glad we chose Amazing Store to do our kitchen remodel, and would definitely work with them again in the future.

The team at Amazing Stone was so easy to work with and the finished product is beautiful. They are very responsive over email and patient as I asked rookie questions. I got quotes from three companies for our new kitchen countertops and they were the only one that let me know if we just made the island about two inches smaller that we could cut everything from one slab vs. two, effectively cutting the cost in half. Incredible!!!

After a lot of unsuccessful searching all over the South Bay for a quartzite bar countertop for our outdoor living space (because all of the stores my wife and I went to would only sell us the whole slab), we are so glad we found Amazing Stone because we finally found the perfect slab that wouldn't require so much excess. The people at Amazing Stone were so helpful with getting us what we needed within a short turn-around time and even provided us with our slab earlier than expected! Their customer service is excellent; they were courteous enough to call us to make sure we had everything we needed to ensure a safe transport of our slab back to San Jose and even helped with securing it in our truck. Despite a little misunderstanding with the way our slab was cut, they were very helpful with helping us figure out a solution, which ended up working out. Would definitely recommend supporting this business for your stone and home upgrade projects!

The customer service at Amazing Stone has really been above and beyond what I expected of a countertop store. Jack really made sure that we were satisfied with everything - which is pretty much unheard of these days with all the terrible contractors that we've had to deal with during our various remodel projects. It's like a breath of fresh air when dealing with Amazing Stone compared to other companies we have had to deal with. I was looking to replace my countertops, and during my search I encountered some businesses that were unhelpful or rude. It was a breath of fresh air to call Amazing Stone and speak to Jany who was very kind and attentive from the start! I scheduled an appointment and when I arrived, Jany already had samples laid out and waiting for me to view, based off our phone call where I mentioned what I was looking for. Throughout the process, I asked many more questions via email and phone, and Jany was consistently responsive and knowledgeable. Ultimately, I went with a prefabs slab for its affordable price, and hired their team to remove the old countertop and install the new slab (demolition is an additional cost, not included with installation. The fact that they offer demolition and removal at all was a huge plus for me though! Other businesses had to refer me to 3rd party contacts). Their on-site team was also great; friendly and worked efficiently. To sum up, great customer service and competitive pricing/options. I definitely recommend Amazing Stone! *if you schedule an appointment to visit their showroom, there is no parking lot, but there is plentiful street parking. The location is right off the highway.

Being such an important project for us we appreciated not only Jack's knowledge but his patience and assistance in making final selections. His arranging for us to visit the showroom and see exactly which slabs would be ours was key. The measuring, cutting, and installation by R&D Marble and Granite was superior! Amazing Stone (and Jack, especially) is an amazing resource for quartz purchases and installations. First of all, their prices for both material and labor are extremely competitive. Second of all, Jack was extremely clear and prompt on his communication, especially when it came to measurements, prices, timing, quantity -- there was definitely zero miscommunication whatsoever (which often happens with others). Third of all, he was very accommodating and patient when the quartz order selection was changed at the last minute. I would highly recommend Amazing Stone!

I was referred to Amazing Stone by a friend and his father who is a builder that does many high-end projects. At first, I was a little worried that the prices wouldn't be competitive, but after getting quotes from three other companies, Amazing Stone came out on top with the lowest quote. From the start I was in touch with Jack, and within one week of letting him know that I wanted him to do the job, my new outdoor counter top was installed quickly with beautiful workmanship. I highly recommend Amazing Stone and will be using them again in the future for other home improvement projects.

I actually sold my house and bought a new house where i renovated the kitchen. I used Amazing Stone again because I had such a good experience the first time and the second time was even better. Jack was great in helping me select a product and he even gave me price options and helped me get the best price on what I wanted. The day off installation went very smoothly (and this time required more work on-premises). I was nearing the end of a very long kitchen remodel, so I was eager to have the countertop installed ASAP. Jack was able to schedule a date quickly, and was even able to move up the install date. I cannot say enough good things about Amazing Stone!

For our kitchen remodel, I not only did a lot of homework on quartz, but also did a lot of work researching local fabricators. My husband was also very critical in his analysis, and after eliminating several options over the course of 3 weeks we finally decided on working with Amazing Stones. Jack was extremely helpful and professional through the whole process. Amazing Stone also had a very broad selection of quartz vendors to choose from, and in the end we decided to go with LG (because of their fantastic warranty), which manufactures their quartz product just outside Atlanta, Georgia. After a slightly more difficult than expected install there were a few issues and Jack was responsive and came to personally assess and resolve the situation. He actually did a complete regrout of the sink area and worked with us to make sure we are satisfied. We ended up using LG's warranty (which was very easy to work with) and a technician from SurfaceLink was sent out to smooth out a few dull lines that appeared on the quartz counter. Based on our experience we highly recommend working with Amazing Stone as well as LG's quartz products!

We are going thru a bit of a remodel currently, including kitchen countertops (Quartz and backsplash). We checked out Amazing Stone many months ago based on Yelp reviews and found Jack to be very professional and helpful. He is the master of the soft sell! No pressure here, just very helpful. We left and did a ton of more research and ended back in his store for more guidance. Winded up pulling the trigger and scheduled our install. Contractors that did the work were good (a bit messy but friendly- loved both Louis and Mark, especially Mark!). We had a few issues with the countertops afterwards and Jack was extremely responsive to our concerns - coming out personally to assess and resolve the situation. We highly recommended Amazing Stone, and particularly Jack, for your countertop/backsplash needs, etc. *Note-we didn't need cabinets or a major rehaul of our kitchen, but if we did we wouldn't hesitate to use Jack and Amazing Stone.

5 stars does not do justice for Jack and his family, and their business. "Amazing" could not describe our experience any better. Jack is SO easy to work with, and never acted as a salesman. He guided us through our kitchen remodel a few months back, and we still rave about him to our friends/family. Communication was always super quick, friendly, and extremely helpful. Thank you so much Jack and Jany. We look forward to working with you again real soon.

We were so pleased with the work we had done by Amazing Stone. I worked primarily with Jack, who couldn't have been nicer, or more patient. His calm demeanor is wonderful. Our kitchen granite was done so well. Mario and his crew were professional and proficient. Everything was completed in one day. The prices were very fair. I highly recommend Amazing Stone!

Jany, Luis and Mario from Amazing Stone earn high praise for their honesty, pricing, craftsmanship and customer service. I was behind schedule on my kitchen remodel and went in desperation to Daltile to get a list of marble fabricators to make and install my countertops. I interviewed 5 in total, but was impressed with Jany's calm demeanor and thorough review of my kitchen plans to come up with an estimate. Since Daltile was initially out of honed she checked with other slab vendors and ensured I had the knowledge needed to pick the right stone. The end product turned out beautifully and was installed in less than one week! Luis is a skilled stone worker and is exceptionally detailed. He's also very neat and leaves your job site very clean. His partner, Mario, turned on the shop vac every time they cut or drilled to minimize the dust generated. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a professional product at a reasonable price.

We bought our granite for our kitchen from them. I am very picky and had gone all over trying to find what I had in my head. I actually loved some of theirs so much that I was able to pick it from a pic of the actual slab they emailed my contractor. Now that it's installed it's absolutely gorgeous and the prices didn't break the bank. Oh, and when one of our pieces unexpectedly got broke, they were fast to get us more!! Couldn't ask for better treatment!

I was in need of a counter top for my bathroom vanity and originally went to one of the big box stores. I told them that it was going to have to be a custom job because size was not typical. They told me that it wouldn't be a problem and that their installer would come and take the needed measurement. I explained to them that we were under a time crunch because we had family coming in a few weeks. Again they said it wouldn't be a problem. When the installer came, I knew that he wasn't interested in doing the job. He himmed and hawed but said that they should be able to do it. After calling the store several times, I was finally told that they couldn't do it. After wasting 2 weeks, I found Amazing Stone online and found out that it was about a mile from my house. We went in and the staff was very helpful. We told them what we needed and told them that it had to be custom. They told us that it wouldn't be a problem. They then showed us the different slab and then told us that they had remnants that might work for us. We found a perfect piece and she told us that they could have it installed in a week. The price installed was $900.00 less than what I was quoted than the big box store. The day before it was to be installed, we got a call saying that one of their guys wanted to come by and take measurement and get the template for the sink. The guy came and was very nice and answered our questions. He left and about 3 hours later we got a call saying that they could come in 15 minutes. The guy came and did the install. He was very nice and quick. He also did a great job of cleaning up after himself. I don't think that I've ever had a company call and ask to do a job a day early. I was highly impressed from start to finish with Amazing Stone and would highly recommend them.

wanted to let your organization know about the excellent job done by Amazing Stone. The project consisted of a complete tear down of cabinets , sink, relocation of gas and water lines. The project also required installing new countertops, cabinets and sink. Mark our primary installer worked efficiently and accurately. When the City inspector came to check his work, there was absolutely no problem with the quality, Mark and his brother Sam arrived at our home on Sunday December 30th to finish our kitchen because they wanted to make sure we had a working kitchen for New Year. That is what I call excellent customer service. The countertop installers cut the granite on our patio. After they completed the cuts and installed the countertop, they took the time to wash the patio and left it spotless. Jack Chan our Project Manager made sure all aspects of the install went smoothly and handled any change requests quickly with the goal of customer satisfaction. In summary Amazing Stone lives up to their name...they are AMAZING.

Amazing Stone installed two kitchens for me. I took simple plans to their showroom. For these drawings they provided estimates for the jobs. They crew installed the granite on site making all the necessary cuts at the house. They did an excellent job and completed they job in their estimated time. I don't have the need for more granite at this time, but I would highly recommend them to others.

Amazing Stone remodeled our kitchen and did an outstanding job! The contractors were very accommodating and were here every day as planned (I live in South San Jose near the Oakridge mall). We even had to stop construction because we went on a planned vacation and the crew resumed work promptly upon our return! Jack Chan (manager) was on top of all issues and saw things through. Problems and changes are inevitable on any job like this and it is how these things are dealt with that puts companies like this in their own category. Amazing Stone... there is no substitute!

Amazing Stone was fantastic! Their prices are very competative, they even threw in the kitchen sink! Compared to the prices at Home Depot and Lowes, they are almost half the cost. The job turned out great, and they were very accomodating in their schedule due to our incompetant contractor who took 5 months to finally deliver cabinets. I really couldn't be more pleased with their product, price and service.

My realtor for my new house suggested I visit Amazing Stone for my new granite kitchen countertops. What a GREAT recommendation. These guys are terrific! In previous houses, I have had granite slabs fabricated for my kitchens, at great expense. At first I was a little hesitant to go the "pre-fab" route. Especially since I wanted a "curved semi-circle" cut to one of the slabs for the bar stool overhang area. I chose Red Burgandy which has a huge amount of "flow and movement" in the granite. I also needed 5 slabs as the kitchen is large, and they needed to be properly laid out so that the design flowed properly. But after meeting with the guys at Amazing Stone, seeing their huge warehouse selections, getting patient help in choosing the right slabs and seeing their "Diamond Rating", I was cautiously optimistic that I made the right decision. The day of the installation, I could not have been more pleased. The team was professional, neat and knew exactly what they were doing. They had to demolish the old granite counter tops, and did so without causing any problems to the cabinets. The new countertops are perfectly laid out and seams are beautifully done. I highly recommend Amazing Stone to all. Dianne T.

I checked out 3 places to get a bid for kitchen granite countertops in a rental home. One was from Home Depot. The best price with a granite I liked was from Amazing Stone. They are not setup for high end custom jobs. Their stone comes precut and with bullnosing from India or China. When they install at your home, the finalize the cutting needed for your kitchen. They did an incredible fitting job. It is almost impossible to see or feel the 45 degree cuts where they joined pieces together. The did a much better job than the granite installation that I had done from a high end company in my home. Their job was so nice, that I told my neighbor and he used them to do his kitchen also. On time, super professional, helpful, and cheaper than formica tops!

I couldn't agree more with the reviews below. Amazing Stone was recommended by a friend who had done her kitchen awhile back. She was so right. The office/warehouse staff (Jose) was patient and gave us so much information - we didn't even know what questions to ask and he answered them anyway - much different than other places that just said "here's the granite, here's what it costs, good luck." Unbelievable selection. The installation was great - there was a problem on the day of install due to MY measurement, and although I needed to go back to the store to pick out a different piece on the day of install, they did as much as they could (beautiful!) and they juggled their schedule to fit me in a few days later and didn't charge me an arm and a leg for my mistake. The installation is gorgeous, we chose a "swirly" type of granite (Paradiso Bash) and just as Jose said, the installers did a great job of making it all flow together. On time, professional, obviously take pride in their work - I love these guys! I would definitely recommend Amazing Stone to anyone. Almost makes me wish I had more for them to do - but that will have to wait til I win the lottery.
