We LOVE our new granite countertops! All their granite slabs are curated, ensuring each is beautiful. They sealed the counters twice. The cuts are perfect. Due to the pattern and their artistic skill, the seam is unnoticeable. We highly recommend Alaska Marble and Granite for your kitchen, bath, and countertop needs!

Alaska Marble and Granite did a PHENOMENAL job with my custom, “floating” honed quartz bathroom vanity. Yamaly was super patient and great to work with as I figured out the design, and the whole team was extremely professional and competent when measuring and installing in my home. I could not be happier with the finished product and will absolutely be back when it’s time to remodel my kitchen.

Best countertop place in town! We’ve worked with Alaska Marble and Granite on multiple occasions and could not be happier! On the most recent occasion we ordered our countertops from them and also had them demo the old and install the new tops. They were so helpful throughout the whole process - which is a little tricky these days with all the supply chain issues. They have a tremendous selection, top notch customer service, great installers and are super responsive. This is exactly what a well run business looks like. True professionals! Like I said we couldn’t be happier!

We recently had our granite replaced by them and all I can say is, what an amazing experience! We had to gut out our kitchen and had to work with countless contractors. Yamaly and her team were the only ones that met and exceeded our expectations from customer service to meeting our every need. We were on a tight schedule and needed our granite replaced by a deadline. They not only met our timeline, but helped us every step of the way and stayed in communication with us. I would work with them again and highly recommend them! They are truly the best! Professional from start to finish!

As a fellow business owner, I am shocked at the lack of professionalism I experienced with Alaska Marble and Granite. While the fabrication with Michel was great, the overall customer service was terrible with Yamalee. My calls were often ignored, and I was not given a reasonable timeline for the installation, which was delayed by six months. When the countertops were finally fabricated, they got the design wrong, requiring me to purchase additional granite slabs to fix their mistake—only to be charged again for "fabricating what I originally requested."
Despite multiple meetings to discuss my kitchen goals, they assured me everything was achievable, yet frequently cited difficulties with a simple mitered edge, causing another six-week delay for the correction. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic customer service throughout the process was appalling. I strongly advise against using this company based on my experience.

I am happy that I chose to work with Alaska Marble and Granite, a good quality small local business. Yamely was very helpful and easy to work with and Michael’s install was efficient and well done. The fit and the caulking is perfect.
The selection of material on site is great, the measure to install timeframe was a short two weeks, and the pricing is very fair.

Best costumer service I've experienced in Alaska yet! I was in search of a remanent of Laborite for a window sill in our new home. Not an easy task unless you can afford a whole slab of it. I searched the state high and low and Alaska Marble and Granite delivered! Not only did they have what I needed but they went above and beyond to get it to me since we live 5 hours away. I would 100% use this company in the future! My window sill is absolutely a dream!!!

We're thrilled with our granite countertops! Yamely and Mike were professional, helpful, and the counters reflect a true artistry, not just stone. The slabs are curated to ensure each one is beautiful. We pointed out our favorite features, such as the blueish hues and they focused as much as possible on keeping those features in the cuts. The seam is undetectable - No one can find it due to the stone and the cuts. The fact they double seal the counters for us made it more worth-the-while. We still have a work in progress but the countertops are done and we love the look. We highly recommend Alaska Marble and Granite!

Does Alaska Marble & Granite offer cutouts for sinks, cooktops, or other elements?
Yes, like most professional contractors in the market, Alaska Marble & Granite performs cutouts and countertop preparation for various components — both standard and modern. According to our findings, these services are typically included in the overall project estimate. The standard scope usually covers cutouts for sinks (undermount, drop-in, or farmhouse) and holes for faucets or other plumbing fixtures. Additional cutouts — such as for cooktops, hidden or pop-up outlets, built-in wireless chargers, or other accessories — are discussed individually at the project planning and estimating stage.
It’s important to note that while the cutouts and countertop preparation are usually performed by the company, the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures (such as faucets, outlets, or appliances) may not be included in their scope of work and could require licensed professionals. We recommend clarifying this point when placing your order.
To avoid misunderstandings, ask for a detailed estimate with a breakdown of all services: cutout pricing, installation, and any add-on options. This will ensure project transparency and help you clearly understand what you're paying for.
What guarantees does Alaska Marble & Granite provide for its work?
According to our information and industry practice, Alaska Marble & Granite, like most participants in the ranking, provides a workmanship warranty valid for 1 year from the date of countertop installation. This period is usually specified in the contract. We do not rule out that the company may have extended warranty terms (2 years or more), however, during our research, we did not receive confirmed data from the contractor regarding the duration and scope of its warranty.
The contractor’s warranty covers defects in fabrication and installation, such as uneven or separating seams, leveling and fastening issues, detachment or sagging of an undermount sink, flaws in edge finishing and cutouts, premature failure of seam materials, and cutouts that do not match the approved design. Warranty coverage does not include damage from use (thermal shock/burn marks from hot cookware, chips or cracks caused by impacts), stains and acid etching (for marble), wear due to insufficient maintenance or lack of sealing, natural characteristics of stone (veins, micro-pores, variations in shade/pattern within tolerances), shifts caused by base deformation, or any modifications performed by third parties.
The material warranty is provided by the manufacturer or the official stone supplier. Engineered quartz brands often offer a limited “lifetime” warranty for residential properties (subject to registration and compliance with care guidelines). For sintered surfaces, typical warranty periods range from 10 to 25 years. Natural stone usually does not come with a factory warranty — its quality of fabrication and installation is covered by the contractor’s warranty. The term and scope of the warranty depend on the project and materials — contact Alaska Marble & Granite in any convenient way on this page to get the current terms.
