Could not be happier with the decision to go with Adamo Stone Design for our kitchen renovation. They were professional, great communicators, and went above and beyond my expectations during cutting and installation. Special thanks to Chowki, we had a difficult configuration around the sink and he took so much time to make sure I was happy with the layout while also preserving stone integrity. Would 100% work with them again. Love my new Montclair Danby Marble countertops!

I’ve used them for two projects, both requiring a significant amount of creativity in design and installation. Owner Rick went the extra mile to source unique materials and maximize the outcome. When the lower glass panel of my nightstand broke during a move, I went to Adamo to replace it with a piece of marble. Rick and his team were AMAZING. From measuring to finding the perfect piece of stone to match the design of the nightstand to pricing and quality, they were the best. I highly recommend Adamo to anyone looking to update old pieces of furniture (like I did) or for larger fabrication jobs like kitchens and fireplaces. They do it all!

Rick and his team are exceptional!! My kitchen has been a slow project due to COVID. Chowki, their sales person, always responded to me and took time to check in as the project rolled on. When it was finally time for my counter to be installed ... they made me feel as though my project was as important to them as it was to me. Installation was quick and the team came prepared for anything they might encounter. Every step was explained and the finished product is stunning!!! We have used Adamo Stone for multiple projects (kitchen, baths, etc) at our home over the years and have always been more than happy with their professional and knowledgeable service. The owners and the staff are always available to answer design or technical questions and their installation service was careful and expertly done. We had our own ideas of what we wanted with each project and Rick Adams the owner and his team guided us at each phase, making sure we were happy with everything and adjusting things along the way to be sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this company for your next project. This outfit is top notch all around.

The owner Rick was an absolute pleasure to deal with. It started with Sal my salesperson who was very patient with me and super helpful, a real treat to work with. This is a new house, Rick came down personally and templated by counters. Great guy. Chowki's work was second to none. Never met with him but we spoke on the phone a few times and was super helpful. Most importantly, the kitchen and bathrooms came out amazing. Thanks so much for the easy process and beautiful end result. I recommend everyone to go to Adamo Stone in Dorchester.

Recently had Adamo Stone put in kitchen honed granite kitchen countertops and marble vanity countertop. I can't say enough good things about this company! Great info about the products, answered every question we asked and some we didn't. Expert and precise template, perfection in honing the granite and absolutely the best installation. Again, Success! ADAMO Stone has been my go to Designer/Fabricators over the years with always an outstanding outcome with work done on my home outside of boston, my rental properties in York Maine and, most recently, my personal Home in York Beach Maine. All custom Work ranged from kitchen and bathroom countertops, hallway and bathroom flooring, fireplace surround as well as a custom bar with connected table height attached sitting area, always done beautifully and amazingly enough, spot on my budget! On our most recent project, my husband and myself made our way to ADAMO's showroom and pleasantly walked through rows and rows of large slabs of gorgeous stone outside the showroom with Chowki, a long time employee, as he guided us to the stone I specifically was looking for! We were so pleased to be able to hand pick the exact Quartzite slab that was pleasing to our personal choice of color/shades and natural beauty of the stone.... (unlike the choosing of stone from a 6x6 inch square sample). Rick, the owner, worked with us to make the process go as smoothly as possible even to the extent of pushing the installation up by dilligently moving his installators schedules to, thankfully, accomodate me because of a planned event that I had scheduled! BRAVO to ADAMO! I'll be back soon to pick my bathroom vanity counter top out for my york beach bathroom rehab!

I used these guys for a remodel in Bostons, North End. Not the easiest of places to get things done. Since the hallway was too small they had to cut the stone and seam it as the piece was over 8ft long. When installation time came they brought in 4-5 guys and the owner, they maneuvered it up the stairs and installed in less than 2 hours. You cannot see any trace of the seam, it looks unbelievable and every one that comes to our home comments on the uniqueness of the stone (by the way they were the only place that had a wide variety of marble/granite on site). I highly recommend them, the owner is very involved and was on site when the work started and finished.

Sal is a great guy who set us up with a fantastic (and reasonably priced) piece, tossed in a sink for us, and helped us put the final touch on our kitchen by doing the countertops. Adamo was quick and the guys are perfectionists. The template and cuts were perfect and look super pricey but for an incredibly reasonable cost (especially for doing work in Boston). Our space was a decent size- 70 sq feet of granite needed and we got it done for a buck over $4000, all in. They've also done work on our family's beach home (2015) and it, again, was quick and looks fantastic. Highly recommended!

We placed our order less then two weeks before Christmas hoping to get our new counters in place before my family started showing up. The owner himself was in on Saturday making the template and they had the counter installed by Thursday. Our kitchen contractor had done a terrible job of prepping the kitchen for installing the counters and they did an excellent job of setting things right and making sure the job was done correctly. Not to mention, the counters look beautiful and were installed for half the price of some of the other quotes we were receiving. I highly recommend working with these guys.

At first visit, this place can be a little off-putting. But don't be fooled....it works. We found a stone we loved, haggled enough on the price to get where we needed to, and it looks great. Talk to Chowki. Rick, the owner, does the templates himself and is extremely helpful. The stone yard itself has lots to see...but you have to meander around a bit. Pricing is fantastic compared to others in the city. The did our counters, hearth, window sill, shower threshhold - those last 3 in the last week. It all worked.

I recently had them install a vanity counter top. While the initial store experience was Ok, I was told upon installation it was "cash only". No check, only cash, and this was over 750$! I had to run out to the bank, and I do not like being held hostage to businesses who operate like this. So overall, this left me with an unpleasant experience.

I contracted a marble counter top installation with Adamo in August of 2017. Since the initial quote, they have been a complete and utter nightmare to work with. I am unable to get anyone to call me back or commit to a date to install the materials. They have lied on numerous occasions as to the lead time for installation and when they will actually do the work. DO NOT USE ADAMO

Please be aware that the owner is very disrespectful and rude. He is very unprofessional. This is my very first review on Yelp. I felt compelled to let other customers aware of my experience with Adamo Stone located on Freeport street in Dorchester. My husband and i ordered counter top for the kitchen counters and a kitchen island. It was delivered and installed with one side higher and the other side lower in between the stove area. Also the cut out for the sink was installed with a chip on the granite, a very sharp chip that can actually cut someone if they are not careful. After noticing this i contacted Adamo and spoke with Chowkie and informed him of all the issues and he told me that he was going to see what they can do to correct the problem. Days passed by without Adamo contacting me to resolve this issue. I had to contact Adamo again after leaving several messages. I received a call back from Chowkie who placed the call on a speaker phone and a man came on the phone who identified himself as the owner, started shouting accusing me or someone in my household for the damage on the cut out of the sink area. I tried to let him know that that is the way it was installed and delivered to my home by his company. He asked me if i hire a plumber and the plumber leave my house, and if i need him to come back out again if i would not pay him again? He refused to fix the issue with the chip on the cut out of the sink area. He shouted i can go ahead and take him to court if i wish to do that and slammed the phone down in my ear. I paid over $3500 for the counter top that we ordered. We paid him this money by cash, not credit card. We are very disappointed with the treatment from this company owner. Now we are going to have to find and pay another company to fix all these issues. I will not recommend this company to anyone because of how we were treated in the end by Adamo owner. For the record Chowkie was very helpful in the beginning with the order but in the end the owner has the last word and even if the workers are willing to help they cannot because the owner has the last say on these orders.

Heard good things about Adamo, but good luck if you chose to use them. Their customer service is terrible. Not only are they rude, but completely disorganized. They might have a decent amount of granite on site, but getting them to move it, so you can see it, could take you a few trips. their time is worth money, but yours isn't. And depending on who you deal with, you might walk away wondering if this is their first say in business, or professionals who should actually know their business. good luck, not for me
