I asked them to come out and give an estimate for a few things: redoing our backsplash, replacing our countertop, installing some floor tile, and doing an extremely small amount of tile-rework for our shower. They gave the estimate but forgot to include the shower portion. I asked about it and they said they would throw it in for free since we were doing so much other work with them. The first crew they sent out did a HORRIBLE job. They literally destroyed our house. It was to the point I ended up having to repaint the walls of multiple rooms because of the mess they left. When I told Accent Tile about this, they sent out a new crew. This new crew was only slightly better. When they got to the shower portion, the crew ripped out the water-proofed wall behind the tile and didn't replace the waterproofing. The tiles they hung up weren't cut straight and the grout wasn't even close to the same color of grout in the rest of the shower. When I brought it up to Accent Tile, they essentially accused me of trying to take advantage of them and reminded me that they didn't charge me for that portion....I didn't ask for that work to be done for free, they offered. If given the option of paying and have it done right or get it for free and have horrible quality, I would have gladly paid for it. I ended up having to pay someone else $1,000 to come out, fix their mistake and do it right.

Had a hot water heater leak, dining and living carpet was totaled. Hector immediately was able to help me from deciding on which carpet would look good in my home based on color of walls, to having it installed when he said it would be. His guys did great quality work on installation. Would definitely recommend Accent Tile and Stone to all of my friends.

Many thanks to Hector and Ray of Accent Tile & Stone for their superb service and help with my master bath countertops. They had the quartz I wanted and made my countertops as soon as my quartz arrived. When my project hit a wall, Hector had recommendations for subcontractors and other advice that got our remodel moving again. They even fabricated a pedestal for my tub faucet out of the leftover quartz. Great people, great company!

I needed a broken ceramic soap dish replaced that was part of my tiled shower wall. I made a quick call to Accent Tile & Stone to ask if they could help. Hector checked their stock, found the exact match to my broken dish, and promised to fix it the following day. He showed up on time, did a perfect job, cleaned up, and you’d never know the problem had happened. Five stars and many thanks for outstanding service.

Hector was great to work with. I started looking for wall tile for my shower over a year ago. He was very patient with me. I got my tile from Accent Tile & Stone and had another contractor install it. Bad mistake. I went back to Accent Tile & Stone and reordered the tile, etc and had them redo the shower. What a difference. Everything is level, grout lines are full, shower door is perfect! Lesson learned - Go with the pros. I recommend Hector at Accent Tile & Stone for a professional but friendly experience. He never gave up on getting to know what I was looking for and was very helpful with understanding budget and needs for my home. Thank you Hector.

Hector, the owner of Accent Tile & Stone is right there in the store when you come in. You get personal service. He is a lifelong, helpful, commonsense man that has been in the tile business for 40 years. He is the only one in Lubbock Texas that gave me a good price. His tile layer, that installed my front outdoor entryway tile is William Rivera. A young family man with 10 years of tile laying experience. He did a perfect job and did everything possible to make the tile look good and long lasting. You can ask Hector for my address and come see the perfect job William did.

I've always had an excellent with Accent Tile and Stone. Hector, the owner is so easy to work with and very experienced. The showroom is small, but they have a nice selection and the prices are as good or better than anyone in town. I plan on giving him all my business in the future as we remodel our home.

We had our kitchen countertop done with engineered quartz. About 3 years later it developed cracks in two area. We contacted Hector in March he insisted it was in the manufacturing process. He would contact them. Around and around we have gone no resolution. Finally something would be done. Hector would replace countertops and backsplash for $700.00 less then original price we paid. BFD!!! After more research he didn't install them correctly nor will he do anything about it. Do not trust Hector or his company.
