I chose Budget Remodeling to replace my kitchen counters after getting three bids. Budget was at the low end cost-wise, but they were also very customer friendly and were able to teach me about the process and customize work on the fly. In the end, they completed the work in 1 day instead of 2 at my request, and it looks fantastic.

We hired Budget Remodeling to remodel our master bathroom in July 2010. Slava did an amazing job! He is a true professional and craftsman that cares about every detail. Right when you meet him, you will trust and like him as a person. He provided fantastic ideas and suggestions, cleaned up the work site every day and completed the project on-time and within the budget we discussed. We just had our kitchen and master bath counters and backsplash replaced by Select Kitchen and Bath. Slava was recommended to us by our neighbors. We are so happy we decided to go with him. Slava is a general contractor so all the work is done by him and his crew. He and his crew were excellent. The largest crew was there for the demolition and installation of our granite slabs on the first day. They remainder of the job, which also included installing a new cooktop, microwave, and garbage disposal, was done by Slava and Michael. They are both very meticulous. They put in10 hours on multiple days working from the time they arrived until they left. Even after a long day, they cleaned up before leaving. In addition to being great at their work, they are nice people. It was a pleasure having them around. Without a doubt, we would recommend them to anyone wanting to remodel and would definitely call upon them for any other projects we decide to do.

Slava and his team is excellent at granite and appliance installation. They have remodeled my kitchen countertop, backsplash, sinks and stove. The most amazing thing is they helped me to install the new range top and replaced my old downdraft system. I was initially worried about the new downdraft system could not be installed because the new system is so different now. There was always something unexpected happened during the remodel process, but Slava would discussed it with me in detail then come up a solution. I would definitely recommend select kitchen bath!

Slava and his guys were awesome! So clean, so professional, and took extra time after each day's job to clean-up as if they were not there. We ran into a shortage of a color of tile, and they were able to create a beautiful color design in our shower to make it look more professional than what we originally planned. They were careful in their repair of upstairs dryrot, and had a great relationship with the City's permit department as well. Very precise on their installation of a frameless door, and provided good sources for obtaining those services as well. Their on-line payment plans were created to pay-as-you-go, through the stages of each installation. Very good, we will always recommend Select K&B.

Slava and his team recently remodeled our 31 year old kitchen. Slava was very helpful in assisting us with decision making and he & his team are like a well oiled machine. The whole crew was very easy to work with... professional, polite, punctual and they all displayed superb workmanship. We have beautiful new cabinets that are now arranged more efficiently, quartz counter tops, and our family room wet bar was removed to add pantry cupboards to the dining area which adjoins the kitchen. This addition provides more storage than we've ever had. We were amazed by the hard work of his team that never left at the end of the day without doing a thorough clean up. The whole process was smooth from start to finish and the job was completed in estimated time. We needed to have our counter tops replaced ASAP. We contacted more than 5 contractors and after reviewing their prices we decided on going with another company and thought we were good to go. Boy, where we wrong. 2 weeks after deciding, we had 2 weeks of missed appointments, a lot of miscommunication, and still no new counter tops. We went ahead and re-reviewed the quotes that we got and contacted them to see if they were still interested. All of them said they could maybe get us in the next few weeks, which didn't work for us. Except one - enter Slava and his team with Select Kitchen and Bath. First let me say that I wish we would have gone with Slava at the beginning of the process instead of wasting our time with the other company. Slava was great to communicate with - I asked a lot of questions regarding the process and he answered all of them patiently and on a level that someone like me (read: non-handyman) could understand. When we agreed to go with Slava, he gave us a game plan and told us how long everything would take and what we needed to do to prepare. The day before the job, he checked up on us to make sure they were good to start work the next day. The day of the job, they showed up on time and began prepping the area by laying down a cover for the floor and covered all of the appliances. Next they put up a dust wall so that the rest of the house stays clean. They also installed a sink and faucet to make sure everything work. Finally they put a sealant to protect the quartz counter tops and gave us instructions on how to take care of our new counter tops. Slava and his team were efficient with their work and let me tell you, the work they did was TOP NOTCH! We are so happy with our counter tops and so happy we found Slava and his team. We would not hesitate one bit in recommending Slava for your renovation needs!

A few months ago we had Select Kitchen and Bath do our kitchen counters. Slava was able to come in and measure and fabricate our counters before demolition so that we were only without a kitchen for 3 days. The other places I had gotten estimates from said I would be without a kitchen for 10-14 days. His team showed up on time (usually putting in about 10 hours) and cleaned up daily before leaving. Their work ethic is flawless and they were professional and courteous. Our counters look beautiful! Thanks to Slava and his team, I couldn't be happier.

I hired Slava at Select Kitchen and Bath to remodel my kitchen (install granite countertops, new sink, appliances, and flooring). He and his team did an excellent job. I interviewed three contractors for my project. One gave me an estimate without coming to my home; another came to my home, measured, provided options, but did not follow up with an estimate. Slava arrived on time for his initial evaluation, measured my countertops, and gave me several options for their installation. What sold me was he had the expertise to cut the granite for my countertop around the sink in one piece, whereas the others were going to install two pieces with a seam. He matched a beautiful Blanco granite sink to the granite I selected. His team put up plastic sheeting during the demo process to keep the dust and debris from spreading through my house. They cleaned up after every session. Slava's prices were fair and reasonable. He set up a payment schedule based on completion of various milestones. The project was completed on time and for the estimated cost. I was able to move into my new home on the date planned. I love my new kitchen! I hope to eventually use Select Kitchen and Bath again for a bathroom remodel.

Slava and his crew are 5 stars hands down. We did a huge bath remodel with them and they did a fabulous job. I will post about a dozen photos or so so you can see the before and after transformation of our master bathroom. Slava was great and organizing and arranging the remodel time frame, inspections, ordering of the materials and so much more. You can tell that he is on point and knows what he is doing because he is organized which is key in hiring a contractor nowadays. The crew worked pretty much everyday with the exceptions of the weekends. You could always count on progress being made as each day went by. Communication was awesome the entire process. Slava even went as far as hooking us up with a larger rim for the granite top than what we originally were quoted basically just hooking us up at no additional costs at all. I could honestly go on and on about Slava and his crew and all the positive things. When I first started my search to find the perfect bathroom remodel contractor I was not just going to settle for anybody. I searched for weeks before finally deciding to go with Select/budget remodeling and it was a fabulous decision. We plan to use Slava and his crew again for future project coming up soon. It has been almost a year since Slava did our master bath and all workmanship is holding up great and no problems at all. 5 Stars and one of the best contractor experiences I have ever had in my life and that says a lot from someone that has owned dozens of homes of the years. Slava and his trustworthy team definitely understand the bathroom remodel. Easy to work with, knowledgeable, helpful, and competent. Their experience and smaller size company mean they are very efficient. They completely gutted the master bath and got rid of that useless corner tub. Installed all new cabinets with full extension drawers and soft close plus a beautifully tiled, frameless shower. They installed more floor tile, new lighting, and offered excellent suggestions. Their showroom is just right - not too big and not too small plus, I think they can get anything you want if they don't have it. No pressure, not complicated but they offer guidance if you need it. My project had some challenges but Slava was persistent and worked through the issues until it was perfect. He ensures that the customer is happy! After previously surviving a new builder's "design center" and a couple other kitchen remodels, this was the best experience ever. Very highly recommend. And, yes, within budget / quote which means no surprises$!

We had Budget Remodeling come out to remodel our shower. They weren't cheap, but their price was reasonable. They stripped the old shower down to the studs, and installed a new shower pan, treated walls, tiles, tiled shelves, and new shower doors. The plumbing was already done, so they didn't really work on that, except to fix a poorly installed 2x4 that the plumber had put in when he replaced the plumbing a month or two before. But I feel confident that any plumbing work they had done would have been top-notch. The selection of tiles they offer is excellent, and they listened carefully and followed through on some extra stuff that we paid for, like shelving inside the shower. Their attention to detail is good. And all the materials (tiles, doors, fixtures, etc.) seem to be good quality. The project took a while from start to finish (2 weeks, give or take a day), but the end product is great.

We did a major master bath remodel, complicated and in need of efficient design. Slava and crew at BR did it all start to finish, on time and at the same price he bid. The big box stores walked away from what we wanted. We wouldn't consider hiring anyone else after working with Slava at Budget Remodeling. His company seems to be one of very few that can bid, plan, and execute a project within the established time table, and not charge a cent more than the bid. And he did meet this mark. Save yourself all the stress and cost overruns from the other guys. Do yourself a favor, and call Budget Remodeling.

They started earlier than initially planned, finished faster than planned, and stuck exactly to the initial quote. No unexpected costs! We had our entire kitchen torn out by budget remodeling they got it done in one day, and cleaned up very well after. We have two small children so I was a little nervous about living ina construction zone but they picked up all their tools and had them out of the way and dust was cleaned up to the best of their ability. Once the reconstructions started with our new kitchen they were very timely. They finished our kitchen just over 2 weeks. I am so happy with the results we mad several additions along the way and Slava was very open to adding them. I would recommend budget remodeling to any of our family and friends. I was home with kids a lot of the days and felt very comfortable with the men working in our home.

We decided it was time to replace our fiberglass shower insert. After some checking, BBB, Yelp, etc. decided to go to Budget Remodeling. Their showroom has a great choice of products. After hearing their quote (very reasonable) and seeing their products, we decided on Piedrafina for the walls and porcelain 2x2 for the shower pan. The removal and installation took five days with a work crew that was very very efficient and hard working with minimal mess and no damage to existing area at all. Their work was excellent and the finished product is awesome. When I contacted Slava (the owner) to request that the shower control be reset to allow for hotter water, he responded immediately and came out and did it. So, great looking shower, great customer service, great price. If you are in their service area you have to consider them for your remodel.

I recently moved to CA from out of state and purchased a home. The house needed many upgrades, including floors, granite, backsplash and interior/exterior paint. Dealing with multiple contractors, I saw the full range of workmanship and quality that the local companies had to offer. Budget Remodeling was by far the best. Their attention to detail, their extreme caution to ensure no damage to existing finishes, their work ethic and quality of craft goes unmatched. I had just had new hardwood flooring installed when I contracted them to tear out my concrete and granite countertops and replace with solid granite - yikes! Before they even entered the front door, they rolled out a protective barrier over my floor. They covered the whole work area with padding to ensure no damage. Every employee understood how important it was to be careful - I didn't have to say a word. They raised a plastic curtain to keep as much dust and debris from the rest of the house as they could, it was awesome! I had originally planned to use Lowes for my granite. I am sooo glad I went with Budget Remodeling instead. Quality work at a budget price. Slava also made suggestions for other improvements. I plan on using Budget Remodeling in the future for a bathroom remodel. I strongly recommend this company - you won't be disappointed!

I am extremely pleased with the work that Budget Remodeling did on my kitchen. I had to tear down a wall and re design the whole thing and they helped me come up with a great plan. Our shower needed remodeling. Slava, the owner, knew just what to do, gave us a fair estimate, and did not lowball us, We paid exactly what the estimate said. It is apparent that Slava knows the business thoroughly. The work was done promptly. There was no mess, cleanup was thorough. Overall, Slava definitely is the "go-to guy" for remodeling.

Slava and his team have a well organized business that benefits the customer. He has a showroom of popular materials that can make it easy to select the look you want at a good price. We purchased some materials on our own which at times caused some delays. His crew is professional and competent. The only reason I gave four stars is due to communication. I didn't know if they were coming each day and, if so, when. I had to call to find out. I couldn't communicate with the crew earthier since they speak very little English, so all communication had to be with Slava only. Bottom line: We are very pleased with the results of our remodeled Master bathroom and would recommend them.

We had Slava install granite counter tops and a new sink in our kitchen. The end result is one we drool over every day. Professionally done. It is beautiful. We live in Roseville and wanted to work with a local business. We chose Budget Remodeling, Inc. because they are local and have a nice showroom to help with ideas and they did all the work, including plumbing and backsplash. Slava is the owner of Budget Remodeling and as a general contractor is very knowledgeable about his craft. He is also active in the community and with his wife run Budget Remodeling as a family owned business. He and his crew did a wonderful job in a shorter time than others - 3 days. As a bonus to us, Slava cut and polished the sink cutout piece, giving us a nice cutting board surface. No extra charge. The reason this is not 5 stars is because of the timing. Another project caused our start date to be postponed for a day and start times were usually an hour later than stated. Other than that minor annoyance, the end result is wonderful. We are very pleased with our new look and would recommend Slava to anyone looking to remodel.

Just a heads up to everyone! Slava was nice until the payoff when he was rude and insulting. We had granite counters installed which cracked near the kitchen sink! When i called shortly after completion, they told me they would charge me to come out and repair. When they installed a stone tile floor, the baseboards were replaced as unsightly and crooked near the front entrance. When I asked if they could be fixed the way they were originally, Slava refused. Also the crew helped themselves to my garage to work, which they left filthy. Slava didn't care about my concerns of his work. I have told many people to steer clear of this company- they don't deliver or take care of basic workmanship details. I would not recommend Budget Remodeling or SELECT Kichen and Bath to a business that doesn't care about their work!

Made an appointment and was a no show. I've had contractors call and reschedule due to unexpected delays in current projects or personal reasons and that's understandable. However, to schedule an appointment and just not show up. No excuse. Must have more than enough projects to keep busy.

I made an appointment for Slava to come to my home and give me a bid on a remodeling job. He called before he came and acted like it was a hassle to come to my house because it was later in the afternoon. When he finally got to my house he was not cordial at all in fact I would consider his attitude extremely rude. He pushed his way into my house without introducing himself. When he got into my kitchen he treated me like I was an idiot and even laughed at what I wanted done. I have had several other contractors come out and Slava contradicted everything all of them said. He made me feel very unsafe and uncomfortable and I asked him to leave. It is unacceptable to come into someone's home the way he did and to treat anyone with such attitude and disgust. I am appalled by his behavior and would never have someone in my home with my family who has the ability to act in this manor.
