I had an outstanding experience with this company. PJ and his team just finished my kitchen and I am beyond ecstatic. His workmanship, his team, professionalism, responsiveness and the end result of this dream kitchen is something I could have never imagined. PJ beat the competitor price, did exactly what he said, on time, clean, knowledgeable, I can go on. I can't tell you how happy I am. This was the first big project we have done on our home in a long time, and I was very anxious. PJ was there every step of the way. He is the owner, and he answers all of his calls and visits every day to do a final check on the work. When was the last time you could say that about a company? I just got my kitchen remodeled by 1Day and I have to say that I am ecstatic. PJ, the owner, spoke to me from the beginning, gave me a very reasonable quote, got his team there on time, clean, professional reliable. Truly unbelievable. PJ was there on site making sure everything was going as planned. He answered all of my questions, picked up the phone, met me at my house. He's the best at what he does, and it is really apparent. PJ's prices beat any competition, and his work product is incredible. The quartz shines and the kitchen is a show stopper. I actually can't believe it. He said exactly what was going to happen, his team has been with him for decades, and he was absolutely right. I was amazed because we all know what a bad experience is like, and I had to write this review to say that there are great companies out there, and PJ, the owner, takes pride and ownership in the quality of his work. true to the name, 1 day kitchen. It was a simple Calacatta Quartz countertop with under-mount sink. We had a smaller counter depth than standard kitchens and recessed cabinet doors, which made the project more difficult. The workers knew what to do and were very efficient with making the precision cuts and shavings needed to make things not only fit perfectly, but also look nice. Very satisfied with work and with quality of material. glad to be able to support local small businesses that offer great material and labor for great prices. I can't speak for the experiences of others, good or bad. For me, they did what was contracted: the materials were of good quality, the price quoted was fair, and it was done in a timely (1 day) manner. There was never any pressure to buy and there wasn't any undo follow up while I was pricing out materials with other companies. Only downside was the extra dust the quartz material generated when sink hole was cut. Workers cleaned up at the end, but make sure anything in the area where work is being done is blue to get dust on it, or moved away and down wind. Thanks again.

25 years in the making (yes it took me that long to trust someone) finally I have a wonderful brand new Kitchen thanks to PJ and crew, I have been visiting his shop for years, one day I said I'm ready : ) We had everything done, Kitchen and laundry room gutted then, new backsplashes, floors, countertops, sink, and cabinets were installed. PJ was always available at all times and provided valuable feedback, PJ and the team are professionals, punctual, knowledgable they even fixed problems I didn't know I had. I had a major problem with appliance delivery and they were patient and even offered to get them at no charge I would recommend them 10 thousand percent.

PJ was responsive during the bidding process, provided valuable feedback on certain items around the kitchen (did you consider new faucets, what about the quality of the garbage disposals, etc.), and met the timeline we discussed. PJ and the team were professionals, through and through. When I noticed a few small things that were off after the installation, PJ returned to our home and fixed them in a timely manner. My wife and I needed a backsplash in our kitchen. We reached out to 1 Day Kitchen & Bath on Yelp in order to get a price quote. Within minutes, PJ got back to us and gave us a quote. It was much better than the other companies we checked out. PJ then set up a meeting for us to come into his office and check out some samples. He also explained all of the options and prices, which were exactly what PJ said they would be. We then worked out a deal and made an appointment for the work to be done. About a week later, PJ's crew showed up at 8am and got right to work. One day later the backsplash was complete and we couldn't be happier! My wife and I can't recommend PJ enough. So at our initial meeting he had everything I had mentioned laid out for us. From cabinet colors, counter top, hardware, back splash and more. That was very impressive. So I just went with that. Didn't want to look further and confuse myself. Will definitely use them for other renovations or remodels in our home. His crew Carlos and Valentino are awesome detail oriented very professional and clean. 4.75 Stars I am very happy with my new kitchen! Carlos and Valentino (the fabulous twosome that completed my kitchen) made the experience of renovating as pain free as possible. They are both very respectful and tried to keep the workplace as unobtrusive as possible. The guys also built me a custom under the stairs cabinet and countertop that I am very pleased with. PJ offered me a fair price with the best timeline. He said my kitchen would take about 2 weeks to complete, when all other contractors were telling me at LEAST 6-8 weeks. I knew this meant at least 3-4 months. I also doubted the 2 week timeline. The contract allowed for 3.5 weeks, and I am thrilled to say that it was completed in exactly 3.5 weeks despite a rain delay of 2 days for my countertops and a delay because of my own mistake. PJ was extremely communicative. I felt I could reach him at all times necessary. I never felt like my team was going to abandon me mid-project like some other horror stories I have heard from friends. I love my new kitchen! The team removed my old, hideous soffits and put in huge 42" cabinets to replace my old 29" ones. They changed the layout of the kitchen to add in a ton more counter space. I just love love my modern backsplash and quartz countertop. The sink is also a huge source of happiness. During the kitchen remodel, PJ also had new glass shower doors custom made and installed in my upstairs bathroom. It looks fantastic! I feel like my remodel was def.5 stars!!! The only minor .25 deduction is because of unexpected charges once our project began. I was not charged for a base cabinet or crown molding in the estimate I agreed to. PJ absorbed one of these costs, and we paid the other. Just make sure that your quote contains ALL necessary materials. Other than this, you can't go wrong with 1 Day Kitchen and Bath. Provided some invaluable advice for free over Yelp concerning some stained quartz countertops. Some other guy quoted me $450 to come out! I took care of it with some comet and acetone, with 1 Day's help. Love it when they offer some simple DIY stuff that wouldn't even be worth sending a person out for. I brought my contractor along to my meeting with PJ, and PJ was very forthcoming with answers to my contractor's questions. I abhor pushy sales reps, and was extremely pleased that PJ was nothing of the such. I didn't feel pressured to make a decision; which is a HUGE deal breaker for me. 1 Day Kitchen & Bath was the best choice for my cabinet installation! I found them on Yelp, and they started work on my cabinets literally the day after I signed the contract. They were prompt when responding to my many emails and texts, and reliable as far as providing the deliverables on time and as scheduled. Also, they are very professional, and thanks to them, my kitchen cabinets look gorgeous!! The individuals that assembled and installed my cabinets were a delight to work with, and they worked hard to get the job done right. Many times, they would tell me, "We will install it however you want", when installing a filler, crown molding, the placement of pantry slide drawers, etc...so there is a lot of customization going on. Also, I felt that PJ and his crew were honest as far as pricing and in general. The total cost of my kitchen project was very reasonable and worth every penny. We were looking for granite or quartz for our kitchen counter top and went to 4-5 places to look at the different pieces available. We already had someone to install it, so we were only looking for the product. When we went to 1 Day Kitchen & Bath and talked with PJ, we were impressed that he didn't try to sell us anything, answered our questions even knowing we were price comparing and had already been to other stores, made suggestions, tried to match a couple of pieces we brought from other stores to see what his price was, and gave us samples to take home...large enough to really see what it would look like in our kitchen. He was always professional, helpful, and available to answer questions when we called or revisited. He was never once pushy or irritated by our numerous questions. When we finally decided on the granite we wanted and brought it to him, he showed us one more granite piece after he saw our cabinet stain to suggest it might be better than what we had chosen. It turned out that the granite style was actually the one we had originally picked out first at another store, but was too expensive at that store, so we gave up on looking for it somewhere else. I hired 1 Day Kitchen and Bath to build a conference room table and do the kitchen granite in my office kitchen. We are a high end law firm in Los Angeles, I needed to make sure the work showed it. We had a great experience with this company. PJ the owner is so friendly and responsive. We went to the store, got quotes (extremely comparable prices to Home Depot) and then PJ himself came out to do measurements, made great recommendations, and visited our house during the construction. Even offered to come out after everything was complete just to make sure we were completely satisfied but I didn't think this was necessary as we are very happy with the work. We got new quartz countertops in our kitchen, bathroom and wet bar area as well as new sinks and a new cooktop and hood. Everything was completed in about a week. The crew and workers were professional and easy to communicate with, especially Carlos. Thanks again PJ, we are very satisfied customers.

I selected 1 Day Kitchen and Bath after searching for many companies. PJ provided me with an initial quote based upon the information that I supplied to him. When I was ready PJ came out and measured myWorking c home for countertops and to install my appliances. I had initially purchased the quartz from another company which was chipped when PJ's company went to pick it up. The quartz was reordered from that company however the countertop and the island pieces did not match. PJ sent his fabricator twice to pick up the granite. PJ recommended the place to purchase the which I did. He told me the countertops would be ready for install on a certain day, which they were. The install was quick and efficient and my countertops are absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed working with PJ his is professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend his company to anyone who is in need of countertops or bathrooms.

Had the greatest experience working with this outstanding contractor. PJ the owner was available whenever we called. He visited the worksite nearly everyday. The work was done very professionally and in a timely fashion. He took care of any concerns we may have had happily. Everything is on display and we were able to chose from all the samples right there in the showroom. The materials that they used were of great and modern quality. I am very picky and hard to please, but with One Day Kitchen and Bath I am totally satisfied vwith the quality of work and professionalism that was shown. I haven't had a working kitchen for two and a half months. We started looking for quartz countertops and were quoted high prices and told it would take 2-3 weeks to get them installed. I own an apartment building in the high-end rental market of Hermosa Beach. 1-Day Kitchen and Bath has installed kitchen cabinets and granite countertops in two of my units. I intent to continue using this business to remodel all my kitchens, as their units become vacant. The following is my experience of using 1-Day for two recent kitchen remodels: I initially obtained bids from three kitchen contractors and found 1-Day competitive in price, but incomparable in the promptness, clarity and completeness of their proposal. Another consideration for selecting 1-Day was, this is a small family owned business local to my South Bay area. My two kitchen remodels started and progress exactly on schedule; important to me for minimizing vacancy downtimes. During the entire remodeling process from proposal, demolition, installation, to completion; the owner and hands-on manager, PJ, was always pleasant, quick and helpful answering questions and making changes. For example on one job, I decided to change the ordered and delivered Blind Corner Base units to units with Lazy Susans. PJ accommodated this major change without fuss or schedule delay. His long-time installers, were great to work with, kept their agreements, absolutely knew their crafts, were relentlessly attentive to details, and left the jobsite impeccable. There was no attempt, thankfully, to pad the agreed contract price with "add ons", "additional work", etc. I ordered the Ginger Square cabinets and as a builder myself, I found these cabinets were of ultimate quality: 5-ply wood box, solid hardwood doors perfectly finished, dove tail front and back drawers with full extensions, soft-close hinges and quality Berenson pulls. Since these kitchen remodels were business investments in an apartment building, there was the financial consideration, namely Return on Investment: ROI = Investment Cost ÷ Monthly Cash Flow Increase. The numbers for the second remodel were $8238 ÷ $300 = 28 months. In other words, in 2.3 years, increased profit will pay for this kitchen remodel---a most excellent investment plus equity appreciation. A very satisfied and repeat customer.

If you ask me, 1 Day Kitchen & Bath is the best for home remodeling. Not only is PJ, the owner, responsive and nice but he really understands a customer's needs and budget restrictions. He really took the time to listen to what I wanted and made recommendations that I hadn't forseen. His rates are excellent compared to others in this business and doesn't sacrifice on quality.
