Our countertop looks fantastic! Amanda was extremely helpful in helping us to pick out the right countertop and kept us informed throughout the process. I highly recommend Wisconsin Granite for anyone looking for new countertops.

I just love how efficient and helpful WG was to my husband and I during out house build! The manufacturer I was working with suddenly dropped out of the project weeks before the granite was supposed to be installed, and I was referred to Wisconsin Granite. I was set on having the same pieces (which could have been ordered but would likely have caused more delays). Cue Sue! She helped me pick out all NEW pieces and it was ready for the build. Bless her heart for working with my indecisiveness. This is my forever home and the decisions were definitely hard to make. She was there every step of the way and even suggested a granite backsplash! An amazing idea and well thought out. The granite was installed yesterday at my site, and I almost cried in excitement. It looks so great.

They were kind enough to replace the original counter top we picked because it had chips all over it. When installing they nicked our brand new cabinets, which she replaced, and hit our brand new refrigerator. The owner claimed that her team didn't do it even though I showed her before and after pics of the cabinets. She claimed they wouldn't lie to her. Now we have a new refrigerator with a dent but a nice looking counter. Make sure you take before and after pics of everything!

The sales team, Sue and Lena, did a great job helping us pick out our granite, showing us the farmhouse sink and faucet options, and going over our other details/options. Dave came to our house and was thorough in our kitchen template and answered questions and concerns we had, both when he was there and after via email and phone. Also impressed with the installation crew and how fast and clean they were. We could not be happier with our experience from beginning to end. Thanks Wisconsin Granite Design for making our kitchen beautiful!

Recently we installed granite countertops from Wisconsin Quartz & Granite Design, they exceeded our expectations with the attention to detail from the planning, edge cutting we wanted, style and ensuring the natural beauty of the stone is reflected throughout the design layout. They were professional, courteous, and despite a few set backs with the stone we picked, they went above and beyond to deliver an excellent product. Thanks 🙏🏻 we are extremely happy with the end results!

We are happy we went with Wisconsin Granite Design, our counter tops turned out exactly what we envisioned with the help of everyone at Wisconsin Granite Design. The owner and their staff were very knowledgeable and kept us updated throughout the process till the day of installation. They had the best prices, great communication from beginning to end, perfect measurements as we had requested, and clean work during the installation. A big thank you to everyone at Wisconsin Granite Design, forever your new customer.

Update: Install Complete and overall happy with the results. We had a few hiccups along the way, but they were able to resolve them to my satisfaction. One corner dropped off with minimal pressure, believe that has to do with the material issues I will address in a moment. They are coming out right away to fix. We selected the stone at the suppliers warehouse directly, with our questions about this stone being answered by StoneX’s rep. Questions asked included: Is it scratch resistant? Answered: Yes, it is harder than granite. Is it porous? Answered: No, it will not stain or absorb pigments or liquids. Then it was transferred to Wisconsin Granite for cutting and installing. The main issues with the material itself were caused by the supplier (StoneX) labeling the stone as quartzite, when the reality is, it is probably 60-80% soapstone with 20-40% Quartzite veining. The above answers turned out to be completely wrong. Quartzite is harder than granite, non-porous, and very scratch resistant. But our Soapstone is FAR softer than granite, porous, and scratches easily. If water sits on the counter for 30 seconds the stone temporarily darkens due to water absorption. We WILL need to be careful, for example, we will not be drinking red soda… That wasn’t known to us till the slabs were being installed and Wisconsin Granite installers discussed the stone, care etc. Had we known this prior we would have gone a different direction. Because of how soft the stone turned out to be there were some install issues, Wisconsin Granite handled them and fixed to our overall satisfaction considering. We feel it looks beautiful and appreciated Amanda throughout. She was our sales rep and I would recommend. ————————————— Original post Worked with Amanda during the selection process, if you go into the store I’d recommend asking for her, she was responsive and very helpful! Install coming soon, will be sure to report back with how the finished project turns out!

I work for Jewell Homes and all of our new construction customers get their countertops from Wisconsin Granite Design. We love the whole staff and quality of work. So when it was time to remodel my own kitchen, Wisconsin Granite supplied and installed my countertops. They are my favorite piece of the whole new kitchen!

What a great company to work with! I had several countertops (kitchen and bathrooms) installed by Wisconsin Granite Design. Sue was our sales person and helped with the selecting the stone and explained how the process worked. The measurement and install guys were great. The process from start to end was easy and completed quickly. We love our countertops. If you are looking for countertops, I would highly recommend using them.

My story begins with Sue who educated me on what I needed to do to begin. She has a delightful personality and made my journey seamless. The laser measurement was also perfect. He showed attention to detail. Enough can't be said for the two installers. They respected us and our property. They removed the old counter tops and installed our new quartz countertops. Such a good company and all contacts we had appear to be 5 star. Thanks to all who made it a success. We highly recommend you.

Had an excellent and fun experience selecting granite to purchase for a new kitchen. After 3 trips to the store, we went with the Astoria to go along with the dark brown kitchen cabinets. Very impressed with how it turned out. The whole process took about 2 weeks and the granite made the kitchen look truly amazing.

There are many options for Granite. I chose here because Amanda was nice and accommodating. When your spending alot of money shouldn't you feel like your the boss? They have options for every price range. The fabricator also seems to know what he is doing. It's also nice I don't have to educate them. Well done every one.

Wisconsin Granite Design had an amazing selection of granite and quartz products. Amanda was great to work with answering all of our questions, providing valuable input and kept a "no pressure" attitude throughout our encounter. The counter install went flawlessly thanks to the expertise of the individual who came to the house to measure. The final price was on par with the estimate we recieved. Overall very happy with our experience!

Good variety and great prices. The lady that helped us was very helpful. We bought our granite a few years back. We recently received a check for an overcharge of over $100 from 5 years ago. I'm impressed with their service for catching the error and refunding it. It shows integrity and honesty. Impressive!!! We strongly recommend them.

Yelp is not the best place for reviews. If you scroll further down, you will see that 42 reviews which are higher starts are not included in the rating for the business. Use Google instead.

Just sort of an awkward experience. They couldn't find the color I was looking for at first as some slabs were mis-labeled. My salesperson was nice but communication overall after I made payment was less than ideal. Disappointed to learn AFTER signing everything that I would have to have the countertop cut and have a seam because my counter had 3 walls around it. Then disappointed to have to pay a handling fee for 2 extra steps into the house, despite the counter being cut into 2 pieces. I would have understood the extra fee if they were bringing it all in in one piece. Also disappointed that an extra square foot ($50) was added to my final bill without warning. The installers called and apparently there was a reason for it but would have been nice to know before just being handed an invoice with an extra $50 on it out of nowhere. The installers were fine but I was surprised how nonchalant they were about applying the 15 year sealer. That seems like an important step but they just made a few sprays and wiped it on and were done in a few minutes - didn't seem to be done with great care for such an important step. Cleanup was not great either. Just an overall blah experience for what they should know is a pretty big deal for us homeowners. It's been a month now and I've gotten no follow-up about how they look or how happy I am, etc. Price was right. The final job looks fine. Wish I didn't have the seam. On to the the next project...

Going to the store and purchasing the Granite with Sue was a nice experience. Everything after, hmmmmm not sure what happened. Day of delivery the quartz we ordered was messed up. They said they had similar quartz in stock and would discount our order. Ok, cool. Then, through a series of phone calls the delivery was pushed off, delayed, moved, and then they said they could show up. They came with the wrong sink and didn't have all the tools to complete the job. I would think for the price they could do better. I would recommend going elsewhere.

My kitchen remodel included new granite purchased from Wisconsin Granite. It is terrible. I have 5 'pieces' of countertop/island and ALL 5 have different thickness measurements. I continue to receive comments how awful it looks. I only had the granite 3 years and having to replace again. If you are shopping for granite, look elsewhere! Photos to come.

Ordered beautiful granite from the Wisconsin Granite Depot. The company came out to measure my cabinets and were given the sink cut-out templates to ensure the counter tops would fit the sinks I ordered. The granite was schedule for install on July 2nd. When the contractors arrived and went to install the granite I immediately knew there was a problem because they stopped speaking English and began speaking Spanish. Contractors finally told me that the granite was not cut to the correct size for the sinks I had. I spoke with someone at the company and they told me they need to bring the granite back to their site along with one of sinks I ordered. The following day I waited for a call back from the company. NOTHING! I ended up calling them in the afternoon to find out how they were going to fix the situation. They told me that the incorrect measurements were put into the system before the granite was cut. They offered to give me 3 new sinks, which would fit the granite perfectly. While this would have been a perfectly acceptable solution, they only had 1 of the 3 sinks I needed in stock and needed to order the other 2. Here it is 2 weeks later and I haven't heard anything from them AGAIN! So, I called today to inquire when I could expect my counter tops and sinks installed and was told the 2 sinks were STILL on back order. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! In addition, they have no idea on when the sinks will arrive. I've been without the use of sinks for my 2 main bathrooms. I'm not sure how anyone could think this is even reasonably acceptable!

I wish I would have read some of these reviews earlier! We used WGD to install Caesarstone window sills. Here are just some of the issues that we had with our installation and customer service: 1. WGD rescheduled the day before our install was to take place. Completely unacceptable. WGD blamed their supplier. If the turn around time was that tight, it should have been scheduled appropriately from the start and/or we should have been informed that this potential issue existed. 2. The contract we signed outlines that our installs should take place "within approximately 14 business days of measure/template." The final installation was completed over 5 weeks after measurements/template. Again, completely unacceptable and breach of contract. 3. Installation: Gaps that well exceeded the 1/8" guideline in the WGD contract per Marble Institute of America's Dimension Stone Design Manual. This was another breach of contract by WMD. The recutting that WGD had to do and/or numerous trips is not the fault of the customer as WGD suggested, even the installers recognized that the pieces were not acceptable. 4. The contract or the measurement templates did not mention or show that seams would be necessary. In fact, per the technical specifications of the material, the dimensions were much shorter than the specifications for the materials such that no seams should have been necessary. 5. Originally WGD offered $250 of store credit for all of our issues. Completely laughable given we will never use this company again. Finally, we were offered $200 off the cost of our $7500 project. Communication was horrible. After completely ignoring our complaints/emails or hearing from this company for months, they sent us a past due notice.

I had the exact same issue as others mentioned with the seam in my master bath. I was NEVER told that it would be cut in half until it arrived in two pieces. I told them I didn't want it and Paul, the owner, came to my condo to insist that it was impossible to be put in in one piece despite the fact that they took the old one out in 1-piece and I have a single piece that is larger in my kitchen. Also, they were able to carry in the backsplash in 1-piece but somehow not the counter itself. If it wouldn't fit in the elevator, they should have carried it up a flight of stairs like the previous installers did for the kitchen. Installers did a good job, but still disappointed I paid $2,300 for a counter with a seam. Just makes it look cheap - I would have gone elsewhere if a seam was ever mentioned.

Very untrustworthy. Was told that my delivery charge for my tops would be less if they were cut in half, thus giving us a seam in our countertop. Didn't want that. When they did the measure, they said the tops could not be carried in 1 piece. Requested a discount for this discussed fact, but Paul refused to acknowledge the discussion. Very disreputable. Was promised numerous phone calls... never received them. I would not care to work with this company again. I feel a person's word is their honor; apparently this company does not.

Wisconsin Granite is incredibly unorganized. The coordination effort is the worst I have seen in a long time. We showed up to view our slabs and OOPS they didn't have the slabs yet, too bad we drove over an hour and had the apt confirmed by them the day before. We had issues with our granite after installation (it turned green......) and it took them weeks to get it resolved. We love the final product but the resolution was anything but pleasant. They would schedule 2 hour time blocks to show up and then they would come 4 hours outside of the scheduled block of time. Then they requested to take photos of the completed project. We were confirmed in an email and then nobody showed up on the day of. I called and the coordinator blamed me for a call that was never received. Too bad I had been sitting around for 30 min to help you guys out. I will not make this mistake again. They do good work and have good prices but the SERVICE ASPECT makes this vendor not worth it. Pay another vendor more and avoid the hassle of using this company.

Everything is great up front but they leave you holding the bag afterward. Go somewhere else! I wish I would have asked my contractor! RUN AWAY FROM THEM! We hired WGD to install granite in our kitchen and two bathrooms. We have a nice size executive home with a large kitchen and nice size bathrooms. We have had granite installed in the past in other homes in other states and had very good experiences. We were drawn to Wisconsin Granite by their showroom which is laid out nicely. Their staff is courteous and helpful. They came to our home and did what we felt was a professional evaluation and templating. They seem professional. We first started dealing with foreigners (eastern European) in their ranks with laying out the granite which was done on computer and seemed very professional. The installers did not speak English well. They seemed to be doing a good job. The flag was that they insisted on payment in full before I was home to be able to check over the job. That didn't seem unusual at the time for them to ask for payment, so my wife paid them. She felt it looked fine. On inspection there were some significant errors in installation (large gaps), incorrectly cut and finished edges (one of four corners on our island is rounded differently from the others, as an example), and cracks in the granite that are irregular and not properly filled in (this is significant and in four different areas). We brought these problems to the attention of the people there. They sent a person out who indicated that this is how it is and that we had accepted it and signed off on it. They would not correct the problems. We are not satisfied and we have had to hire another contractor, at our expense to correct the issues. The repair contractor was able to deal with the issues and we feel that WGD should stand by their work and correct their mistakes, even if product and workmanship problems come up after you have "signed off" on them. RUN AWAY!
