A terrific experience during our remodel, when we were at our wit's end with all the construction and challenges good old San Buenavenutra permit process gives you. The city can just drain you, I don't get it. There's safety that we ALL have interest in, but come on are you serious it was a straightforward 120 sq ft add-on! The fun things we were waiting for like choosing furniture, paint, artwork and stone for the house was just another part of the process after the City put us through the wringer. So, when we finally got to the stone, oh my god, Mick was effing fantastic. Attentive, never pushy and numerous trips to the house to make sure everything would be perfect and showed us how to care for the stone and left some supplies with us, too. Great selection at the store, which was kind of a bad thing -- how do we choose?! But Mick and his staff helped through that, too. They even collaborated with our interior designer to get the right pieces for the kitchen, fireplace and bathrooms. Who does that?

I had a fantastic experience with Ventura Stone. TLDR: They offer very straightforward pricing with their one or two slab specials. They work with you and explain things well, I had specific desires for seam placement which required a crane lift and they were very accommodating to get me exactly what I wanted at a very good price ($7,099 for up to 65sf at the time I purchased). I renovated my entire kitchen and this was the only portion of my project that I didn't do myself. I visited or got quotes from multiple competitors (Pacific, Coastal, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. as well as buy slabs from X and have Y do the fabrication). HD was the cheapest but their fabricator (BlockTops) insisted on excessive seams and their customer service team couldn't explain why and wouldn't accommodate my requests to remove them. Local shops charged too much ($10k+) and getting quotes seemed more complex than it needed to be just to get a quick price for comparison. I visited Ventura Stone thinking that their Silestone specials were limited to only a few choices (Calacuta/Gold), but they were able to provide me the exact slab I wanted (Ethereal Glow, the most expensive tier at Lowes) under their tier 2 special pricing. I asked up front if seams could be limited and they agreed with my desired layout. Everything went smoothly from measurement, to templating to install. The cherry on top was that during the install, the installer asked why I didn't get a quartz windowsill above my sink. I told him I didn't know it was an option. He called Mick, who said that they could do it at no extra charge. The next week they came out again and installed a new sill and addressed a few other minor concerns I had. Like I mentioned, I did a ton of research and went to a lot of different countertop shops. Everything about Ventura Stone felt right from the moment I stepped in. The whole process was smooth, easy, and well communicated up front. They really treat their customers well and I would highly recommend them.

I’m a scientist, so I expect a fairly high level of accuracy and precision from contractors who work on my home. I started researching materials and contractors a year before beginning the renovation of a kitchen and two bathrooms. Roberto was very helpful and patient to answer all of my questions during that time. I chose Cambria Notting Hill quartz for the countertops. The kitchen was challenging; a structural beam ran through one set of cabinets which necessitated a 127 inch long slab of countertop to be fitted around it. Ivan precisely measured the project. I appreciated the opportunity to work with Mick to approve the layout of the design so the dark veining against the white background was used to my satisfaction. Mauricio and his crew did a masterful installation. They precisely notched and slipped the piece in around the beam thus avoiding a large seam at that juncture. The other pieces of countertop were also fabricated and installed beautifully. I would recommend Ventura Stone to anyone who is seeking a professional experience with their countertop projects.

We just got our kitchen countertop finished last Thursday as Mike promessed. We are very happy with the work . Our daughter is expecting a baby and I told Mike I wanted the counter installed as soon as possible . Mike kept his word and did everything that was possible for us to have our kitchen counter ready on time. Mike was always available on the phone or called me back right away when he wasn't available . The staff were very helpful and kind too. SO happy with my new countertops from Ventura Stone. Mick helped me through the entire process and really paid attention to every detail, from the quote and sending a photo, to ordering the stone and sending his team out to measure. Mick and the whole team were able to answer all of my questions, and they checked in after the install to make sure I was satisfied. A few weeks later, I found that my dishwasher was a quarter inch too high and didn't fit. When I called Mick to ask about this, even though it wasn't their fault, he sent someone out to cut and sand the edge at no charge. Thank you! This is really three reviews at once as Ventura Stone did our kitchen, several bathrooms, and a custom fireplace. During two years of massive renovation, we have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly - and Ventura Stone is truly the best. We are so grateful that we found Mick and his team. We are convinced that the same stone in different hands would have yielded inferior results, especially in our kitchen and fireplace, where their seasoned eye and diligent attention to detail produced seamless works of art. Mick expertly guided us through every step of the process, from consultation to material selection, layout, and installation. He is both technically and creatively skilled and prioritizes the customer's comprehensive experience. During our layout consultations, he literally would not rest until he had engineered the perfect solution. Ivan spearheaded our measurements and installation with masterful craftsmanship. He presented thoughtful, innovative options for every detail and even shared valuable ideas about unrelated aspects of our project. Mick and Ivan both made us feel as though we had thought partners in our renovation endeavor. As we enjoy our new home, we will always be grateful to them for their skill and dedication. We needed new counter tops for our kitchen and bathrooms and were told by another of our vendors to check out Ventura Stone. We walked in and were immediately greeted by Vanessa. She guided us through the entire process from coming to our condo to take measurements, selecting the type of materials, walking us through the rows and rows of slabs, arranging for the demo and ultimately the install. All the workers from the demo team to the installers were very courteous and did a great. They cleaned up after the work was done and treated our home as if were there own. Great work, great people at a very reasonable price. We could not be happier with everyone at Ventura Stone and highly recommend them.

On 5/8/23, Ventura Stone installed quartz countertops for our kitchen, which we are remodeling. Simply put, the job was performed beautifully and meticulously. Mick, an owner of Ventura Stone, supervised the entire process from initial measurement of the space, breakup and removal of the existing granite top, creation of the template used for fabricating the quartz slabs, markup on the 3 quartz slabs of the layout for fabrication based upon a precise placement of the template so that the veins in the slabs will run continually across the slab, fabrication and final installation in our kitchen. In fact, Mick required that my wife and I come to his plant in Ventura California to observe and approve the markup of the template on the slabs themselves. Mick was a fanatic about the layout of the template on the face of the quartz slabs in order to assure, as close as possible, that veins in the slabs ran continuously across the various shapes of the cut slab--(a process that, as I understand it, many stone cutters skip and make no attempt to carefully place and locate the template on the slab in order to address vein continuity. The three-man installation team that came to our home for installation was outstanding, each worker an expert in counter-top placement and installation. They were also very careful in minimizing dust accumulation and thoroughly cleaned-up the site when they were finished. Mick had told us that the installation would take two days, but the job was completed in one day. To our surprise, Mick appeared at our home at the end of the day to carefully inspect the job to make sure it was completed to his satisfaction. Finally, my view is that the job cost from soup to nuts was fair and reasonable. I would certainly and highly recommend Ventura Stone for countertop fabrication and installation. As an aside, we were referred to Ventura Stone by the company from Spain, Constantino, that manufactured the quartz slabs. You should also know that Mick, from the beginning, gave us his cell phone number so that we could call him at any time with any questions. He also picked up and answered our phone calls!! We recently updated our kitchen and a key part of that was replacing the counter. After speaking with a number of local providers, we settled on Ventura Stone based on product, price, and customer service responsiveness. We worked with Vanessa who was very helpful and knowledgeable. She walked us through the steps and things to keep in mind. She coordinated for the measurement and install and everything went according to plan. I also had a chance to interact with Mick who is really a master or the art. He looked at our Silestone slab to lay it out in a way that maximized its use and to present the pieces in the best configuration. He was far more picky about it than I was and I really appreciated that. I had some after-install questions and follow up, and they were great with those, too. I've been meaning to write this review for a couple of months now, and I couldn't not write it after our great experience. After looking at other stone yards we found what we needed at Ventura Stone and after speaking to Mick we were sold. He was very knowledgeable and took his time helping us and answering all our questions. He took the time to work some magic and figure out the layout in such a way that we would only have to use one slab, instead of having to buy another slab or use remainders from other slabs (which could be slightly different in pattern/color). Amazing! He even took the time to personally come out to our house after the job was done to get a stubborn mark on the countertop off after his crew was unable to remove it (he got it out and left the rest of the cleaner with us!). The customer service at Ventura Stone is something you don't come across much these days - second to none! I highly recommend, if you need a countertop GO HERE!

Mick and team went above and beyond for our kitchen remodel that included two massive slabs for several countertop areas and backsplash. From start to finish the process was very clearly explained and adhered to. The bid came in competitive and the level of detail during the bidding process was rather impressive. When we had an unplanned halt of the project half way through, Mick was very understanding. As with every project there are some hick-ups. Those were addressed instantly and without any debate. The final install took place in different stages because we chose to. Saying, the team's flexibility and customer orientation was something we were very grateful for. Not to mention the quality of the final install. We needed to have a seam in both the over-the-corner counter as well as the backsplash. The seams are barely visible unless you look for it. We command Yair and Mick for their strong work ethics and the quality they commit to. Our kitchen looks beautiful. Thank you very much!

I have been meaning to write this review for some time now. Here is why I give this business 5 stars. About a year ago, I visited their showroom because I was interested in a specific countertop material. I was shown that product, but the young woman explained that I would have to have a seam in my countertop, and that was not acceptable for me. She showed me other products/slabs in different materials and explained the pros and cons of each. I ended up choosing a slab, and at that point, one of the gentlemen who worked there then explained the step-by-step process for taking measurements, demolition, and installation with a specific timeline for each. The timeline was very short, with minimum downtime. AND THE VERY BEST PART WAS THAT THE INSTALLATION WAS NOT ONY PERFECT, BUT THE STEP BY STEP PROCESS WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS TOLD IN THE SHOWROOM. NO SURPRISES! I have recommended this business many times.

This is our 3rd kitchen stone installation with Ventura Stone. As always Mick and Juan were there for us every step of the way from granite selection to measuring, layout, installation, and the final sealing of the granite. We had a couple of tiny issues which were handled swiftly and proficiently by Mick. The installers were on time, careful with our wood floors and cabinets and very clean. The office staff is very friendly and efficient. There is nothing I can say to express how completely satisfied with all aspects of the services we have received.

Selection is great, they worked with us on our tight timeline and the installers were top notch and courteous. Ventura Stone was my third quote I got on my new Quartz countertops. I went with them because when I showed up at 5:15 pm to see what options I had, Brian was so gracious to sit down with me and draw up a diagram on his computer and give me a quote right on the spot. He could have said we are closing and come back tomorrow but he chose to make the time like I was not an inconvenience at all. He had a crew out to demo my old countertops and a different guy out to take exact measurements within 10 days. My countertops were ordered and arrived and installed within 2 weeks. The other companies were telling me 4 months to install. They were installed beautifully and we are so happy with them. Jordan who also works at Ventura Stone was amazing and so helpful with the payment arrangements and any questions I had. I am very pleased with the service at the Coeurd'Alene, ID store.

Roberto and the guy who first came out to measure (I can't remember his name; sorry) really put in the extra effort to replace all our countertops with one slab; saving us nearly $3000! Ventura Stone's installation crew did a phenomenal job! They were able to demo and install in one day (our kitchen isn't very big), and were very good about keeping things as clean as possible during the process; covering the floors with paper, and cleaning up after themselves. Their work is meticulous; clean lines and beautiful craftsmanship. The final look is amazing; so freakin' pretty! I'll give Ventura Stone 5 stars . Not only that they have lots of good countertop choices but manager Mick was very helpful and also provided excellent customer service. When I talked to Mick about the installation schedule issue, he listened to me and was able to accommodate with my preferred date. When he told me " let me see what I can do" and that he'll call me back Monday afternoon , I thought he was just bluffing me but I was wrong . When I also went to their store, staff immediately greeted me and offered to help me even though I looked like a bum that day. Lol ( I can't remedy his name but i think it's Rodolfo or Roberto). So overall, I love my countertop and I was happy with their service.

Great experience and highly recommended. Our builder recommended Mick at Ventura Stone when we remodeled our entire home. We purchased a variety of stone including marble, quartz, quartzite, and granite. Teresa was critical in choosing just the right stone and worked above and beyond with our Archetict/designer and me to ensure our satisfaction. Now for the best part-follow up. I'm accustomed to many businesses "closing the account" after receiving the final payment. Good luck getting any response, let alone quickly. Not Ventura Stone! Our job was completed in early 2018. I've since called on Mick several times to repair chips in our stone. (It happens!) Mick sent his repair team ASAP to magically make the chips disappear. Remarkable don't you think? I'm so grateful that Ventura Stone is in my town!

I had a super positive experience with Ventura Stone. We started a full remodel of our kitchen in January 2020. When we started we were so excited that we went out right away to pick and pay for our counter tops. Then Covid hit and everything stopped. Plus we had other obstacles come up in 2020. Who didn't right? The kitchen did not get done and ready for counters until January 2021. I expected there to be problems because of the year time delay. When I went in and talked to Mick, there were no problems at all. He got me scheduled right away for the measurements appointment. After Ventura Stone got the measurements and the counters cuts were approved, we ran into a problem with one of the cabinets position. This was not the fault of Ventura Stone but the cabinet had to be moved from the original position. Mick came to the rescue. The very next day he personally came to my house to see if it was going to be a problem and how the counter could be adjusted. The installers also need to be mentioned. They were professional, polite and quick. I also noticed that they paid particular attention to the details. They were very careful to not scratch the new appliances that were installed and they left the area clean when they were done. The counters look fantastic. I could not be happier with the result and the experience.

Not only did Mick and his crew do a beautiful job initially installing our kitchen and bath quartz, but when it became chipped due to other's negligence, he sent his crew out to repair the damage without hesitation. I comfortably recommended him to remodeling friends before, and will continue to do so thanks to his fine craftmanship and customer service.
