Highly recommended using Troy Granite. We came to them to get our new countertops. We ended up choosing the Super White quartzite stone top. The sink was included and we already had a faucet. They were willing to arrange a plumber to install and hookup the new faucet and sink however I had a family friend assist. We also got our backslash done with them. 10 out of 10!

If you are looking for beautiful, high quality affordable countertops that the seller stands behind 100%,,, DO NOT BUY FROM TROY GRANITE!!!! Spent thousands of dollars on brand new countertops from Troy Granite and within a week of being installed one section began to discolor. I immediately contacted them and essentially was accused of not being careful and causing the problem myself!!! They sent out a man to (as they put it) “TRY to repair them but there is no guarantee.” The man they sent to my house made me extremely uncomfortable. He continually made comments and asked questions about my my doorbell camera and straight out accused me of putting my bottle of cooking oil ON the counter (my oil is with my spices inside of a bottom cabinet). He picked up an unopened bottle of white WINE that had been given to me as a gift, and put it in the area of the discoloration. Then proceeded to show me how that bottle (which was unopened AND WINE NOT OIL) was the reason for the discoloration. WHAT??? Needless to say nothing he did fixed the discoloration on the countertop at all. I thought maybe I would just live with it, because that was a better choice than allowing that man back into my house, but then decided NO, I spent a lot of money on countertops that look absolutely horrible why should I have to just accept it. I went back into their store again and explained the situation again. When I mentioned the behavior of the man they sent to me, the woman I was speaking to did an eye roll and (showing she understood) and said she knew who it was and she was sorry, so I assume that wasn’t the first time he’s acted like that at a customer’s house. They set up another appointment to (their words) try to fix it but can’t guarantee it. A different man came to my home this time but he STILL could not get them corrected. I have contacted them numerous times about this issue only to be constantly accused of being careless and staining them myself by what I do on them. I am a single woman who doesn’t cook at home often at all. And when I do cook, I don’t do anything on the area of the countertop that is discolored, it is back by the splash guard and in a very awkward corner bend with cabinets above it. I will attach pictures of how my countertops continue to look because Troy will not do anything to actually fix it. In my completely unprofessional opinion I think there is a defect in that particular piece of stone because there is absolutely no reason it should be discolored, especially so shortly after they were installed.

I had Troy Granite do my installation. Faruk helped me out with the pricing and Mahony did the installation. The office staff and install crew was excellent. The countertops turned out to be as great as the individuals that helped me out. Very fast and professional work. I would recommend to anyone looking for new countertops.

Troy Granite installed Quartz countertops in my newly gutted kitchen at the Beach. They measured on a Tuesday and the same man named Ilhan installed them the following Tuesday! Everyone from Jamie in the office to Ilhan were very professional. I absolutely love my countertops! I highly recommend them. The photos show before and installed.

We had Troy Granite install granite countertops in our kitchen and we are very happy with the final product! Our salesman, Brian Salir, was very friendly, professional and accommodating. It was a large project (over 100sqft) and we were extremely impressed with the overall service we received. If we ever upgrade any other countertop or vanity in our home, we will go back to Brian and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or Troy Granite to our friends, family or neighbors! Thank you again Troy for making our kitchen beautiful!

After receiving multiple recommendations for Troy Granite we decided to check them out. Jaime Binns was our sales person who took the time to help us and didn't balk when we decided to start the selection process over a second time. She explained everything in detail giving us multiple plans for various choices. We found the perfect granite and received a great price. Jessica stepped in to place our order since Jaime was off the day we chose. They both were personable and professional. Finally Jose and Pablo were our installers and did a fantastic job. They were a pleasure to have in our home, made sure everything was to our liking, and left everything immaculate. We felt they were a great team. Thank you Troy Granite for providing us with a beautiful countertop and a pleasant experience.

Troy Granite in Newark installed a natural stone (quartzite) counter top for me in August. Everyone I worked with was fantastic and the customer service was excellent. Their price was better than Tile Market's by about 20%. I waited three weeks until installation compared to 4+ weeks at Tile Market. At Troy I worked with Aysel & Emel. Both were very accommodating and I enjoyed working with them over a 2-3 month period. They were both very helpful and patient - no hard sales pitch. The lighting in the indoor stone yard is 'ugh' but I did have an opportunity to look at my selection in natural light before I bought it. Emel ended up being the closer. I was satisfied with the package price but I think I could have done a tiny bit better if I had given my full attention to the final offer. I was in a hurry and Emel is a shrewd sales lady so she, rightly so, turned the price slightly in her favor! As far as the rest of the process, the measuring appointment was uneventful and the technician was very professional. For the layout appointment, I was glad I had done some research and knew what I wanted before I arrived. The initial proposal was not to my liking at all but the tech was very patient and worked with me to get exactly the layout that I wanted. The install went very smoothly as far as I was concerned but it I think it was essential to have my contractor there. There were a few technical things to work out to make sure the counter turned out perfectly level but when it was done I was very happy! My counter top is perfect in every way and I love it! I highly recommend Troy Granite, Newark. UPDATE: More than three years later - I still LOVE my counters. The quartzite (Taj Mahal) is durable and stain free. No problems at all with the surface or the installation. FIVE years later, still LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stone!!!

This was the second time I’ve used them and both times we had issues. In both cases they tried to push off a piece of granite that we didn’t pick out. In both cases they had cracks in them. Only after refusing both orders did they finally get it right. Dont ask for a specific time for install as they promised because they just show up at anytime. Promised a small refund for multiple trips out to the house and extra days off I had to take off from work. Refund Check never received. Install guys do a good job so at least you can thank them.

We went to 3 other not to be named places and felt rushed and pushed into expensive options even when we asked to look at other stones in these other place showrooms, so we were pleasantly surprised when we skeptically entered Troy. it all Started with knowledgeable warehouse staff, who get out of your way and let you look at all the stones but offer to answer any question should they come up. With Troy supplied clipboard, we gathered names of the stones we like and Jamie took over, asking questions and getting a feel for our tastes and needs, offering choices and suggestions based on what we liked and wanted, never pushy. Her suggestions were awesome and exactly what we were looking for. The installers for both countertop an backsplash, were super friendly and accommodating, and very clean, constantly cleaning up after themselves. I would recommend Troy to anyone looking to transform their kitchen or any other room .

Not sure what’s worse, their attention to detail. Inability to clean up/ prep properly or their customer service. To start off, I had to call them 3 times to even get my estimates emailed to me… but even then I was told “you have to provide us your budget”… I’m sorry WHAT? They wanted me to tell them how much money I can spend and then guess what. The quartz I wanted was the EXACT cost of my budget (bit strange, but my wife really liked the quartz she was shown and we’ve never done a kitchen reno before). So I paid IN FULL (they even charged a huge processing fee for using a debit card). Then came the day of install… no protective shoe covers and no drop clothes. They cut a hole for my faucet, but left all the saw dust for me to clean up inside and on the face of my brand new cabinets. When I called about this the lady on the phone scoffed at me and said “you can’t expect them to wipe it off or clean up”. Meanwhile our flooring people were vacuuming up all dust and debris from the floor.. the least troy could’ve done was put down a drop cloth. So I guess they just like to over charge, make a mess AND have terrible customer service. To top things off, I was also promised a cutting board (which was also never received). I’m putting this review up in hopes that other “potential customers” decide to shop around more and find a company that will actually take care of you. Oh and I forgot to mention, Jim was our sales person but I only spoke with him once… After they took our money he refused to speak with me again. Guess I wasn’t worth the time unless I wanted to spend more?

Troy granite really simplified my decision to renovate my family’s kitchen. Each step of the process was easy and personally tailored to make me feel comfortable. All the way from the measurements, to choosing the stone, backsplash and even sink. Depending on the stone you choose, you will spend a lot. In the end whatever you decide will suit you and all the guests you invite over will complement you on your kitchen. I was fortunate enough to have one of their employees, Yamin, lead me throughout the process. However, I do not think I would have gone wrong if I worked with a different employee. Honestly one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Prompt, speedy and helpful.

The best place to buy your countertop in DE, MD area. The sales executive Savi was polite, toured us the facility and explained various options under our budget. Explained the entire process as we were doing this first time. They had lot of varieties and options to choose from. They offered the best price for the Granite countertop vs box-stores and a stone competitor in the area. We signed the contract when we were closer to getting our kitchen done. A few days later, the measurement professional came with laser tool, measured in 30 minutes. A week later installers came installed everything professionally in 2 h. We are very satisfied with the excellent customer service and outstanding professionalism displayed every step of the process.

I just want to say how pleased we are with Troy Granite and their staff across the board. From the sales team, to the fabricators, to the installers...all of them could not have been more professional, helpful, or accommodating. The project wasn't an easy one with special cuts and waterfalls, and the execution was flawless! Can't thank them enough and so glad we chose them. On top of it all their rates are were either as good or better than we could find anywhere else. Very rarely do these things come hand in hand but at Troy Granite they do! Just Incredible:-)

We worked with Jessi Hunt and had an amazing experience. She was professional and friendly. We had Troy do the granite in our kitchen, ledger stone on the fireplace and granite on the top of the fireplace. There was a small issue with the ledger stone but as soon as I let Jessi know their installer came back and rectified the problem. We are now in the process of picking out backsplash tile. We absolutely recommend Troy Granite! Thank you so much, Jessi, for this great experience.

I'm seriously surprised by all the bad reviews of Troy Granite, I have been nothing but pleased with my experience with them. I shopped around at about 6 different granite places and it was between them and another one and then I had a friend say he uses Troy for his rehab projects and was happy. So went with them. Prices were great, selection was great and communication was great. The install was super easy and went smoothly and the installers were incredibly nice. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. For reference, I redid my kitchen and purchased a leathered steel grey granite for perimeter and a carrera quartz for island and I love them!!!! Also, I did not have them do any demo or supply the sink or faucet.

Moving into a recently renovated house, I wanted to make modifications in the kitchen. All the kitchen base cabinets and the island had countertops that had been installed by Troy Granite. My major modification was to place a cooktop in the island with some minor trimming of one piece of countertop. The people I spoke with at Troy Granite were helpful and accommodating. The technician from Troy Granite did an excellent job of cutting an exact sized opening for the cooktop in the island countertop. The technicians were professional and produced a minimum amount of dust in the house. I am extremely pleased with their service.

These guys are great. I was ready to contract with a granite fabricator in Kennett Square, PA that came highly recommended but they added several items as extra cost that I felt were excessive (i.e. - digital lay-out, extra fee for Bullnose edge, etc.). Hence , I shopped around. The people at Troy met our price (which was fair and reasonable) but where they excelled was in the execution. First, After picking the exact slabs we wanted the next step was for them to send someone to the house to measure. The guy who came was, on-time, polite, professional, and above all...he knew his sh#t. He was meticulous in measuring and I never has a doubt the counters would fit like a glove (as they did). Then we went to their office to determine how we wanted the slab fabricated (layout)...that guy was knowledgable, helpful and flexible. We LOVE how it turned out. The installation guys were equally professional and capable...and neat. A few minor adjustments were needed because my cabinet guy made a few very minor changes after the measurement...no problem, they altered the granite on-site. The installers did a PERFECT job and treated my home as their own. I would highly recommend Troy, They were a pleasure to do business with. And I can be a real PIA to satisfy. :-). Finally, they had a very large selection of granite in their warehouse; which is very important when selecting something you will live with every day for the next 20+ years.

The folks at Troy granite were very easy to deal with. They made the process very simple, and really have their act together. After obtaining three estimates, Troy had the best price by a long shot. The crew even coordinated the installation of a new dishwasher that I had already purchased from a different company. The granite was installed perfectly, and the plumber connected the dishwasher, sink, faucets, water filter and soap dispenser that I previously purchased. The crew had the entire job completed in one day, and the transformation of my kitchen looks amazing. You really can't beat this. I'm sorry to read that one of the other reviewers was acting very rudely to the sales employees. As for me, I'd happily go with Troy again in the future, and will surely recommend them to everyone. Good job, Troy.

My wife and I went on a Monday, was greeted by a sales woman, from the get go she had an attitude, like we were bothering her, as time went on she did become friendlier, decided she was just having a bad day, a week later my wife and I went back, sales lady was at lunch, we went back and looked at the granite again, waited for her to come back from lunch, when she came back we gave her a few moments to settle in, I went up to her to say hi and tell her we were ready to buy, she was the most rudest sales person that I met, my wife and I came very close to walking out, once again she came back around and became nice again, but I was really shocked to be spoken to in such a way...after the purchase I called her to change the sink size and a gentleman answered the phone, I asked to speak to my sales rep, and received the third degree as to why I was calling her before they transferred my call to her. Once connected she was pretty nice. I've dealt with this company once before for my other house and had a great relationship with them, this time not so much.

The installation was satisfactory. Our disappointment is in the sales management. They offer a referral gift card but only if you submit a form online before you buy anything. So if someone tells you about Troy Granite and you tell the salesperson this before you order the countertops, that referral does not get a $100 gift card because the person referring you did not submit an online form prior to your purchase. Ridiculous. It's the slight of hand and difficulty getting a return call from your salesperson that earns 2 stars. The extra fees end up costing as much as the granite, too. But the person installing our countertop did a good job; the one who installed our daughter's countertop, not so much. Can't recommend the Newark operation of Troy Granite.

They were 3 hours late for my appointment. When they got there we found they ordered the wrong sink which resulted in the wrong hole being cut in the countertop. It also had the wrong edging. Also found out that they priced the job off of the estimated measurements not the laser template measurements "which was less square footage" that they came out and took. After "we" pointed this out it ended up being a $500 less. Called Troy Granite and they were reluctant to do anything about it except to just reorder my countertop which will take 2+ weeks to get. Communication was terrible. Sitting here now with a kitchen with no sink or countertops. Buyers beware!

My main issue with Troy Granite is their procedure in place and customer service. I got kitchen counter tops and eventually I'm happy with it but not without headache. For my project I found that the estimator, template guy and store rep are all out of sync and have major communication barriers. Their overall customer service needs overhauling and need to provide training to their in-office and field staff. Estimator told me that I don't need extra support on the bar area, the template guy told me I do need support brackets put in. I had to get the invoice amended. The installers told me I don't need brackets installed and told me they will go back and report to get the invoice amended. When they came back to finish the job the invoice was amended and I paid the remaining 50% of the project. Then about a week later I got a call from store that I had remaining balance left on my invoice! Nobody had updated the system and I was showing a balance! I had to explain the whole process of the back and forth with the store to the rep who called me that I don't have any remaining balance. Such poor management & customer service. I will not go back or recommend anyone to Troy. There are other companies to work with out there.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Troy was recommended to me by a cabinet company, so I made the trip to Newark to check it out. The $1499 special has very little to choose from, but I managed to find two pieces (read remnants) that would work for me. Template and install time quoted were very quick (should have been a red flag). Then they broke one of the pieces, so I had to go back and pick another. When it came time to install, the guys were very rude, and couldn't install one of the pieces because it needed to be cut and pieced in order to get it in the space. Told me they would be back tomorrow. Well, tomorrow is here, and no installers. They never notified the scheduler that they needed to come back, so I'm pushed back another day. Also, they made a mess in my bathroom, and didn't clean up after themselves. Also, the counter has sand marks in it, so it will now have to be polished where it was glued. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere for your needs, because this place is terrible. Salesperson won't call me back, manager won't call me back. Also, they charge you the credit card fees. Bad business in my opinion, and I've been self employed for almost 40 years.

just bad.... silicone used has already turned yellow. since the counter tops are white, it looks terrible. They had to come out several times to fix the caulk and were very unpleasant in the process. the guy that came out got loud and said it wasnt the caulk , it was because it was rusty !!?? wasnt aware that quartz could rust. one corner isnt rounded. sink is mounted crooked and backward (disposal on the wrong side) and they undermounted it when i wanted, and purchased a drop in sink. maybe because it was a sub contract, but its just really really bad

This has been the worst service ever. I took them the exact measurements to get my work done. They came out measured and said my measurements weren't put into the system correctly and wanted to charge me and extra 360.00. They said they see were I brought everything I needed when I came in but for some reason it wasn't out in the system. I tild them we can split it and after 10mins of me yelling the manager agreed. Next I had to pay an extra 168.00 to raise my cabinets. Once the counter tops were installed they said they didn't have to raise them. It has taking me 2 weeks to get that money back. Know because this is my summer home and I just went there. I've noticed that my counter tops aren't sealed. I have called for 3 days trying to speak with Jim the manager and he won't get on the phone. Finally he told one of the representatives to tell me that he said I would have to pay 75.00 for them to come back out. Unacceptable I will not pay you to fix you mistakes. After telling them and telling them I'm going to call my lawyer. They then said they would be out to my home at no charge. Please DON'T use this company. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. So many better companies to use. Had I got quotes from 3 of them but went with the cheapest one. I guess yoy really get what you pay for. Lesson learned.

I, too, wish I read their reviews. I was so disappointed when they came to install. I had already hired someone to undo plumbing and remove old countertops. They arrived and said I had to pay several hundred dollars more for them to level it or they would not do it that day. They had me because I had no countertops or running water. They never mentioned this in estimate, or at all during the sales process. My cabinet guy said they were level. Very shady practice and when I contacted them, they were not at all willing to work with me on additional surprise costs after I spent thousands with them. I hope they learn to have more integrity. Additionally, the only granite I have ever seen installed where they say a large gap is acceptable between counter and wall. Installer argued in home that a gap was okay. It was a miscut and then they want to quote guidelines. Terrible experience. Use caution as there are many other granite companies out there. I am using another company for my backsplash and bathrooms.

BUYER BEWARE... I wish I would have read the other reviews before I went with this company... Once you sign on the dotted line customer service goes out the window... I was originally told that I would pick out my granite slab but when the time came they said there was only two left and I could not pick it out... Then when it was installed I found out why... A large area of it had cracks and divots in it... I was told this is normal and I had to deal with it... For paying over $4,000 this was the worst purchase we made it for our home.

Initially the ate nice and helpful but do not have the customer service to stand behind their product. When it comes to repair, they totally are the least helpful and cant be bothered. I have a damaged area due to a chemical and called them to see if they can make it less visible. They aren't even willing to try. They basically told me to try and find someone else. The installation was done wrong also. They used furniture braces to hold my sink up and my sink fell within 10 months.

I wish I had paid attention to the reviews for this company. The customer service is horrible once you've signed a contract with them. They didn't inform me that part of my back splash was broken until the day they came to install the counter top. After having to go out of my way to schedule another day for them to come install the rest of the back splash, they wouldn't provide me with an estimated time until the day before. On the day of, the install calls me and says he at my house almost 5 hours before he is supposed to be there.

The other reviews are accurate. Initially they are very nice and helpful but as soon as something goes wrong - and it will - you're beat. They won't call you back, they won't return your emails, nothing. This is a terrible business. They chipped my new $1800 farm house sink, they said they would be out to fix it, they actually did show up but it was unannounced and they did a subpar job. It appears that they used white out to hide the chip but it now looks worse than it did before they "fixed it". The installation crew left their straight razors, trash and debris everywhere. They trimmed the slab in my garage and left the dust. They dripped silicone all over my cabinets and smeared epoxy on the face of my cabinets. I am still in awe that they won't return my calls or email me back. Buyer beware!!! This is a sketchy company.

BUYER BEWARE!!! This company is the worst. Their entire staff from the managers, salespeople and receptionist lack integrity. Once they have your money you're on your own . If your installation goes well you'll think they are the best thing since sliced bread. If it goes wrong you're on your own. I was a repeat customer. My first purchase and installation went well . My second installation was a nightmare . Unbeknownst to me upon taking out my old countertop and disconnecting the plumbing they ripped my pipe out from the main drain leading out of the house . It was brought to my attention by my plumber when he attempted to reconnect the fixtures under the sink. I called to complain my salesperson said he'd talk to his manager and they would take care of things. They never did . I called back on a few occasions to follow up with no resolve. I took them to court w/o an attorney and lost my case. The judge did admonish them for making no attempts to either right the wrong or meet me half way with the additional cost of repairs. I also have a blatant defect in the granite which they chose not to address . Overall I've spent $4,000 of my hard earned money with them . Again if all goes well you're fine, if you run into any glitches you're on your own. They tie you up when you sign the papers at the end of the installation which states you were happy with the installation and service. Buyer beware!!!

The following review is personal opinion, based on our experience with Troy Granite. By far, the most important decision for your stone project will not be which color, pattern or material type you choose, but rather which contractor you select to work with in your home. If you care at all about the quality of the work to be performed, and if you do not want your finished project to remind you every day that you made a mistake in selecting your contractor, then do not walk away, RUN AWAY from Troy Granite. While Troy Granite may have been a good company at one time, they now seem to be a disjointed collection of separate departments who do not communicate with each other as they rapidly push through "jobs", and unfortunately, after you have signed the contract, NOBODY AT TROY GRANITE CARES. Nobody at Troy Granite seems to care about quality, honesty, courtesy, or about your expensive investment in your home. Our experience with Troy Granite: 1. The project was sold when the salesperson included in the scope of work the removal of some existing ceramic tile backsplash. When the crew showed up on the scheduled day to install the countertops, they seemed surprised and unaware that there was any other work involved that needed to be done before installation, and they had brought no special tools or equipment to do this work. In the face of "we can do it, but there might be problems . . ." (~exact quote) we mutually agreed to continue the installation without the contracted work being performed as we had originally anticipated and expected. 2. While drilling the hole for the kitchen faucet, the installers broke (cracked) the granite between the hole and the sink, one of the most critical spots with respect to countertop strength. (Due to potential settling, granite integrity and strength are more important for our home than might be usual, and this is a significant issue for the longevity of the installation.) Diagnosing this from an emailed photograph only, TG claimed "a fissure - we'll color it". The next TG installer on site looked at the crack and said (exact quote) "they broke it when drilling the hole". 3. While removing the backsplash from the truck, the initial installation crew broke the backsplash, and were therefore unable to install it. (Not particularly long pieces.) They apologized and a second installation was scheduled for a week later, requiring, once again, both my wife and I to be present (not easy to schedule). Apparently, during the delivery for the second installation attempt (late in the workday), the backsplash was again broken, and the installer did not come to the house, but called minutes before the scheduled time. The shop foreman was called and told specifically that we did not want our backsplash to be a collection of pieces, showing a pattern disruption at each joint, and he agreed. They indicated they had material available and would cut more backsplash. At this time TG indicated this was unusual, and discussed ways to keep the backsplash intact, such as machining a groove and using a metal brace behind the stone. The third attempt to finish the installation was scheduled, and the crew arrived, but indicated they did NOT have two continuous pieces of backsplash material, but instead were going to install a collection of pieces with multiple joints (another break enroute or simply disregarding quality and wanting to finish the job quickly???). The crew was told this was unacceptable (exact quote from installer "I don't blame you"), the crew indicated TG had stone material available, and they would go back to the shop. A couple of days later we received a curt voice mail message from our original salesperson saying the multiple pieces installation was "the only option" "there is no other option", and to call them to schedule completion of the project. We haven't. That was over a week ago, and three weeks after the original scheduled installation our kitchen is unfinished, with broken granite and missing backsplash. Update: Four weeks they left the third installation attempt, and now almost 2 months after the original installation, with the job still unfinished, and with broken pieces and missing backsplash, we received a Past Due invoice from Troy Granite! Unable to find another local contractor that carried our stone type, and as my wife, who is VERY upset, wanted the project finished (we will soon have numerous guests visiting our home), we acquiesced and had Troy Granite install the broken pieces of backsplash. Nothing was done about the broken main sink piece. We will live for many years to come with a poorly executed project, not the project we anticipated (granite over ceramic), with broken stone and multiple joints, as we simply cannot afford to have this project redone properly. Shoddy/incompetent workmanship - lack of integrity - arrogance - complete ambivalence to quality of work performed and to customer satisfaction. RUN AWAY from Troy Granite.

The worst customer service I've ever encountered. We had our full granite counter tops installed and paid thousands. Within 60 days the faucet that Troy supplied us as part of the "package deal" failed . We were without use of our kitchen sink for a full week, after many calls to Troy, our salesman and the "manager", they would not help us. We had to hire our own plumber ( an additional $260) to install the new faucet. They basically said "too bad. Beware!! They are abrasive, rude and really don't care once they have your money!!

Defective faucet after three weeks, flooded the underside of my cabinet and leaked down to the basement. Called and spoke to Manager "Dan" he offered no solution since they had no "cheap" faucets in stock and were waiting for a shipment and could not give me what he stated as a better Kohler faucet, his exact words were "I can't give you a $350 faucet for no upcharge". If they had given me a quality faucet in the first place this wouldn't of happened. So now they expect me to go without a kitchen faucet until they get their shipment. The countertop was also cut too short in the corners and they came and caulked it but still looked horrible and I had to buy a piece of trim myself to cover up the bad cut. Also the backsplash was put in wrong and they attempted to caulk the gap between the wall and backsplash and didn't even get that right the caulk separated from the wall and top after a couple of days. DO not use them you will regret it, after all you will be reminded daily of it as you use your countertop every day.

Troy Granite is a true piece of crap. My mom bought a granite remnant from them to use for her bathroom. The moved it around on their property multiple times after her purchase. Once her cabinets were in, she called to schedule to get a template made, and to have it cut and installed. They called her back and said oops, we broke your piece. They said "Sorry, this sort of thing happens all the time. Come see if you can find something similar or we will give your money back." They could easily cut her a piece from the stuff inside, but they claim it's not THEIR fault that THEY broke the piece she already purchased. So now she either has to settle for less than what she wants or have no counter top for the cabinets that are already installed. Customer service means NOTHING to this shit ass company!!! She must not be spending enough money for them to actually try and rectify the situation!

After incorrectly installing our countertops not once but twice I was more than happy to see this company leave. In addition to the installation errors (regarding fit), our sink and two cabinets were damaged in the process and the workspace was never vacuumed or swept after each visit. Dirt and debris extended to our hallways and powder room which caused damage to our floors from their shoes on the granite chips. Our recommendations for homeowners would be to insist in a master installer, insist on shoe protection, and insist on cleanliness. My husband and I mistakenly assumed all of the above were standard. Home improvement projects come with assumed setbacks and frustrations, but to feel as if you and your personal property have not been treated with professionalism and respect? Unacceptable.

I prefer to give Troy Granite zero stars because of their mistreatment and poor customer service. Since we live hours from the showroom, Troy sent a salesman with dozens and dozens of samples. We matched the sample with our backsplash, our cabinets, floor and paint color and made our selection. The tops installed were and were nothing like the sample, several shades lighter in color. Troy granite simply dug in their heels and stood by their notion that granite is a natural surface and changes from slab to slab. Well, how can we accommodate this principle and practice when we are novice consumers in this matter? Why didn't the salesman promote the practice of seeing the actual slab cut for our job? None of that occurred and now we're stuck with a mismatched kitchen. We will spend thousands more changing backsplash, tile floor, cabinet handles, and outlet covers. We asked Troy to compromise this job and install a matching backsplash which we purchased. They refused and wanted another $1000 plus travel time to do that job. Additionally, one countertop was improperly cut and had to be redone, one backsplash was cut 1/2" short and had to be removed and replaced. Our garage was left a dust bowl because the work crew came after dark and had insufficient light to cut their materials. So the garage was covered in granite dust and it was not cleaned. Also, a portion of bar frontage was damaged and cost another $180 for us to repair. Overall, it was a frustrating and unhappy experience. Five of our neighbors were intent upon using Troy Granite for their own countertops; however, we were easily able to persuade them to go with another company based on our experiences. A complaint was files with Delaware Better Business and we are waiting remediation. We're not holding our breath for a good resolution because their district manager does little more than rationalize and justify whatever they did and makes no attempt to satisfy the customer. Please, please do not use Troy Granite for your needs; I have no idea how they stay in business.... Jack and Tatjana

What a horrible experience. When we walked in the showroom, everyone was pleasant and nice. I was told that my kitchen would only be "out of commission for two weeks." Well this turned out to be over 2 months before it was finished. A date was set for the granite to be installed. Weeks and weeks went by and I finally asked what the hold up was and was told they were waiting for us to give them a date - really? Finally a date was chosen and was told someone would come in between Noon and 5:00 pm and it would take a couple of hours. At 6:00 pm, no one came or no phone call, at 7:00 the same. Finally at 8:00 pm at night during the week, 2 people showed up and wanted to install it after doing several jobs that ran late. We said no thank you b/c they were too tired - they left me the wrong size sink. They were coming back the next day at 5:00 pm (not sure where these hours come from). The installation only took about an hour since my husband removed all the old counters himself anyway. Now we want to set up a date for the backsplash to be done - that is about 3-4 weeks later. Only had one person to do the job and they had other jobs to do - well I had Thanksgiving dinner with a half of my kitchen finished - talk about embarrassed. Finally they come one day at 8:30 and finished at 3:30 pm. If I had to go back there again - NEVER AGAIN!

What awful service. We were barely given the time of day by the first, non-English speaking sales rep. He trudged us around with the worst attitude I've ever encountered. Then, non-chalantly threw out the price. My hubby was so upset, he called to speak to the manager. Instead of giving him a straight answer, the manager asked, "What did the other guy tell you?" Really? Shouldn't it be standard? Believe it or now, we ordered from them bc they had the exact color that matched our bathroom. Promised the piece on Saturday, it still wasn't ready Sunday and had to be dropped at the job site Monday morning for our remodel. Bad, bad business and pissy salespeople. Go anywhere but here.

When we first ordered our Kitchen counters from Troy Granite we were pleased. It was nice to be able to pick out exactly the piece of Granite we wanted and they even let us define how the individual granite pieces would be cut since the granite we chose was quite varied in its colors. Most everything about the price and the delivery was good except that one of the four pieces that was delivered was unacceptable because the granite finish was very pitted and not smooth. Even though they went back and cut a new piece, the lack of quality control was surprising and we had to settle for a new "cut' which was a "second" choice. However, our biggest disappointment came a few years later. The Kitchen sink that they had installed, separated and dropped down after being filled with water. We never abused the sink and found it odd that it would fall. Troy charged us $150 to come out and repair the sink. What's more disturbing was that we found out that this had happened several times recently and they had to change their method of installing sinks; i.e. they installed it wrong in the first place and still charged me $150 to fix it. We twice asked for the owner to call us about the situation, but he never did. VERY DISSAPOINTED!
